It is reflective of the misogynistic tendencies that fandom spaces subconsciously have towards female characters. It’s reflective of the way popular male characters, who share traits with the less popular female characters, are deemed as ‘blorbos’/‘poor meow meows’ and have fans justifying/explaining their actions but the female characters are labelled as ‘annoying’/‘a bitch’/‘unreasonable’.

Hello cool people in my phone, I'm Sam :) I'm a creative writing student who loves the arts, and I draw sometimes too!

I'm obsessed with movies, cartoons, music, and a lot of specific niches of nerdy pop culture. My brain is constantly all over the place and I tend to get fixated on different fandoms pretty easily, so don't be surprised if the stuff I post on here changes dramatically every once in awhile lol

I'm currently relapsing on my summer 2020 Back to the Future fixation, and I'd lurked on a couple bttf blogs on here in the past (ahaha) to admire the art and laugh at the shitposts and stuff, but after being obsessed with this trilogy for like three years straight I finally got my courage up to make an account and (hopefully) participate in McFly July!! I adore Marty (and just MJF in general) an unhealthy amount and I'm hoping to meet some kindred spirits :D

So to uhh like . unofficially kick off my tumblr endeavors? sort of?? here's a Marty I drew at the height of my original hyperfixation! I usually stick to traditional art, and my art style's changed a decent amount since 2020, but it's actually the first digital art piece I did and I'm very proud of him :)
