All for One, the quirk and name of a legendary villain known amongst the underground since the dawn of quirks. But in an attempt for the villain to secure his heritage and legacy, his son of the same quirk leaves the villain behind to start a more peaceful life. Now the newest bearer of All for One appears, Midoriya Izuku, grandson of the feared supervillain. And he doesn't want a simple life, he wants to be a hero, and right the wrongs of his family's past.

Since this is tumbler and no one gives a SHIT what cringe things people post here, have one of my many, many MHA AUs.

Instead of being born into the Midoriya family, he’s instead born into the Shimura family.

Tomura’s quirk awakens when Izuku is three, and he leaves thinking everyone, including Izuku, is dead.

Izuku ends up in foster care, with nothing but a few items of clothing and a picture of his birth family, and a picture of his grandmother. He keeps the family photo with him at all times so he always remembers his family.

He gets adopted by Inko when he is 6, and decides to take her last name.

He has black hair, but dyes it green to match Inko’s

He starts training earlier to be a hero, so he could be like his grandmother and the heroes that pulled him out of the rubble of his home.

He gets OfA around a month or so before the entrance exam. The night he gets it, he starts floating in his sleep. He masters float almost immediately, but still has nights he floats. Those are the nights he has nightmares.

(He doesn’t know it, but it’s Nana trying to tell him that everything will be ok)

When the USJ attack happens, Izuku recognizes “Tomura” almost immediately from the years of endlessly staring at his picture and memorizing every detail in his face.

The only person he tells about Tomura (other than his mother, of course) was Aizawa, who realized something was wrong and held Izuku back to ask about it.

Some time passes, and Izuku stops dying his hair and lets the black grow in, both because he can’t be bothered to, and because he doesn’t want the image of the manic, hateful Tomura Shigaraki to make Tenko Shimura and the rest of the family to fade away.

Eventually Katsuki’s going to notice somethings up, right? So, after this kids he’s known since they were both six suddenly starts acting super weird and signing all his papers off with “Midoriya-Shimura” instead of the normal, he’s obviously gonna get suspicious. So, he sneaks into his dorm room, finds the family photos, and blows up after he recognizes Shigaraki.

Obviously, being the hero he is, Katsuki confronts Izuku in a hallway, they start getting into a screaming match, the whole class gathers around and. Oops. Family photo accidentally blown up.

Instead of saying anything, Izuku just stares at the ashes with tears in his eyes while Katsuki realizes “oh shit, that wasn’t a good idea.”

Aizawa eventually comes in to see what the hell is going on, immediately connects the dots, and kicks everyone out of the hallway.

Katsuki gets detention for a month for “breaking into a classmates dorm and destroying their property”, while Aizawa finds a way to ‘repair’ or replace the photo for Izuku.

Meanwhile, while this whole thing goes down, Tomura is just wondering why the HELL this weird green kid keeps glaring/tearing up whenever they see each other

Danny Fenton sends Superman a fan email in which he asks for advice. In it he says he is also a non-human hero (he is vague because being a ghost is illegal) Danny mentions that he is being raised by humans. His parents don't know about his activities or species and hate his kind.

Danny was mostly looking for advice on how to make people stop being scared of his non-human characteristics. But Clark really sees himself in this teenager's email. He knows he was lucky to get parents who loved him even as an alien, but he also recalls being young and scared that would change.

So they start regularly exchanging emails, and Superman becomes a kind of mentor even if Danny refuses to tell him anything about his identity.

Set 10 years after the final battle (manga 424), Deku left the UA and Bakugou's heart couldn't stand the pro-hero life. They meet again by chance and re-build their friendship as they support each other through their shared disappointments.
