Phew. A cancelation means that I can see my dr on Monday. I haven’t told my family that I’ll leave work early so I can have an honest and unknown conversation with her. Anorexia voice has been so loud lately that this is the first time in a month that I’ve taken action to look after myself. The real me is still inside, gagged but not bound. Sure, it’s not actually eating but it’s a step in the right direction and I’m hoping I’ve done enough damage in a month to my body and heart that the dr will scare me into caring about myself. Or am I just looking for validation: ‘Well done, V, you’re underweight and your heart is weakening - you’re now deserving of life again’. I disgust myself.
