idk what it says about me as a person that i have on multiple occasions had people call me evil and horrible /lh because of the angst that i draw but i swear this is the first project im working on where im like. yknow what yeah i am evil and horrible huh

oh i absolutely gave myself way too much of a workload this semester but holy shit i finally have like... about 80% of that orv changgwi animatic down in concept and i am. cartoon villain cackling

#asto speaks #project 2 electric boogaloo #ok maybe not the first project exactly i have an unfinished starship wip that comes pretty close #i really should finish that. tbh. ive just made the unfortunate choice to fully render it and my god rendering metal is so BORING #but like a few people said that about my last animatic and idk i didnt feel it #like that one felt more about the process/journey than any specific emotion if that makes sense #my guess is just that him by floruitshow is an *incredibly* sad sounding song and also i chose the most emotional sounding part #this one tho #i mean. considering the nature of the source material #i dont think theres a way to create something based on orv chpt188 thats *not* angst but yknow #i mean only my rwd mutuals will really get this but i am also the way that i am.#ie asshole who likes to draw angst and then watch as other people suffer #its just. idk i think this is gonna be a case of the song and the visuals interacting... *weirdly* cuz if you listen to it #like with the folklore context in mind changgwi is a really *viscious* song #its from the perspective of a spirit who wants you to die. like the first half is more of the narrative/storytelling but the last chorus is #in terms of tone/delivery it is just so spiteful and violent like big /pos the storytelling of this song is incredible like #THATS WHY SO MANY PEOPLE MAKE ANIMATICS WITH THIS SONG. LMAO #its just like. idk the visuals i have in mind are very.... well hm #lets see if i can achieve some sort of irony as planned instead of just horrible tonal dissonance LMAO
