𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐄! 𝟏𝟗𝟓𝟎'𝐬! 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐇𝐔𝐒𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐃 reacts to...cheater! reader
Request made by Anon:
Hi! I just read your post about yan 1950 house husband, it's amazing. Can you write his reaction if reader cheated on him? If you don't feel comfortable with this ask, feel free to ignore this. Remember to take care of yourself and have a nice day.
Hello to you too, dear Anon,
First of all, I must apologize but your request suddenly disappeared from my inbox! Thankfully, I have the content of your request saved in my google docs so I pasted it above.
Putting that aside, although this topic is sensitive to some, I am fine with writing about that.
I appreciate your words. It's very nice of you to think about little ol' me. I wish you a nice day too (even if it's not a daytime)!
Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon!
PAIRING: 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞! 𝟏𝟗𝟓𝟎’𝐬! 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝 x [CHEATER!] reader (gender not specified/mentioned/implied), your lovers genger isn't specified/mentioned/implied either. Don't be swayed by the curses used to describe them; Tw. cheating/indifelity from the reader, cursing, description of a m*urder, delusion (delulu is the solulu), emotional manipulation, gaslightning; A/N: As a person, I do not support this kind of behavior. This is only a piece of fiction, serving for entertaining purposes only.
𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭
Denial. Denial. Denial. At first 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞! 𝟏𝟗𝟓𝟎’𝐬! 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝 doesn’t believe it. No, he refuses to do so. You’re the most faithful and perfect partner known to the human kind. Right then, he's desperately holding on to that image. But unfortunately, evidence says otherwise. A simple photo, sent to him by your lover, secretly taken by some photographer is clearly showing you and (that whore) your lover, in some hotel room, in an intimate position. It is clear that day that you have an affair.
“But what if my darling was forced to do this?”
That question sends him into a spiral of delusion, rage and sorrow. As a defence mechanism, 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞! 𝟏𝟗𝟓𝟎’𝐬! 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝 made up a story where suddenly you were a victim in this whole situation. It was definitely your lover who has forced themselves on you. Probably blackmailed or worse, drugged you to have a taste of sweet love and burning passion you share while making love with him.
“My poor darling…” 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞! 𝟏𝟗𝟓𝟎’𝐬! 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝 wailed, clenching his chest like someone was physically ripping away his still beating heart from it. Fat tears ran down his rosy cheeks, smudging his mascara and turning him into a crying mess. “I’ll avenge you, my darling. I won’t forgive what was done to you!”
He doesn’t even blink when he sends your lover into the pits of hell. There’s no hesitation when 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞! 𝟏𝟗𝟓𝟎’𝐬! 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝 plans this hideous crime, making sure every detail is taken care of. And so, it begins small, like creating false and disgusting rumors about your lover. Day by day, he patiently destroys your lover's life. Until the day when 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞! 𝟏𝟗𝟓𝟎’𝐬! 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝 poisons them through his signature pie and then proceeds to repeatedly stab your lover until no one is able to recognize them in the first place.
"YOU WENCH!" 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞! 𝟏𝟗𝟓𝟎’𝐬! 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝 roared at the person who happened to be your lover. "HOW FUCKING DARE YOU?!" With every word he dove the sharp, kitchen knife deeper and harder into his victim's chest. "DIE!!" 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞! 𝟏𝟗𝟓𝟎’𝐬! 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝 yelled for the final time and knife one last time, straight in this whore heart. He was left alone in the empty and messy kitchen, covered in blood, panting and trying to catch his breath.
In the end, 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞! 𝟏𝟗𝟓𝟎’𝐬! 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝 begins to gaslight you. Once again, with the patience of a saint, he began to manipulate you to believe that it was in fact your lover who was using you all this time. You were forced into this vile affair and you are a victim.
“My innocent darling, you mustn't think about it (them) anymore. I will make everything perfect once again.”
But isn’t it weird how he started wearing clothes that are scarily similar to those worn by your lover? Sniff…sniff…and those perfumes…

Find your 3 oldest WIPS. Then list for each:
The inspiration- Why it's still a WIP- Will you finish- Why or why not-
Try not to mean to yourself!
according to google docs these are the WIPs that i haven't worked on for the longest but i have no idea if theyre actually the oldest. also i have older WIPs on accounts i dont use anymore but im not even gonna get INTO those ones plus they're not bobs burgers or osc fics anyway i dont think??
BOB AUTISM:
i thiiiink this was supposed to be a fic about tina getting diagnosed with autism and then bob slowly realizing that he is also autistic but it wasn't very structured and i dont think i wrote much. more like a concept than an actual fic
i doubt i'll finish it because i just dont have much to go on and even if i was going to write an autism bob fic i would almost certainly write it in a different way now
BOB GAY SINGLE DAD:
OKAY this was a very detailed concept and i got surprisingly far in writing it but i think it got scraped for parts for my other fics now so idk if there's much left. it was just gonna be about bob growing up as a queer kid in the 80s and then it would be about a gay single dad flirting with bob at like a grocery store or something thinking that he's also a single dad looking to meet people (miscommunication bcuz the kids are with him but linda isnt). and bob thinking about the fact that he was never really with a man before. they'd talk about bob's bisexuality some and linda would ask him if he ever wanted to experiment and he'd be like nah ur the only person i want to be with man or woman
if i ever got really into finishing all my bobs burgers fics i could see myself rewriting this one someday. it was a fun concept it just never went anywhere and i have like 50 other WIPs that are more recent
SILVER SPOON FANFICTION:
this was just a fanfic about silver spoon having a mental breakdown after candle was eliminated and thinking back on their relationship yknow. he thinks it was all fake and candle, his only friend, never liked or cared about him. its finished but i never got around to editing it and now so much time has passed that it wouldnt make sense without the context of the episode it was written for. its culturally relevancy is pretty much gone and past since season 3 ended anyway </3 rip you were bigger than the whole sky.....
for all of these fics the answer to "what was the inspiration" is that i dont remember/i dont know and the answer to why i never finished it is almost certainly bcuz of weird ocd tendancies causing me to get stuck or i lost motivation and started writing something new. lmao
#these are also like my most BORING fics so talking about them is just boring lmao thats why i never worked on them#cuz theyre not very engaging ideas#ask#bob's burgers#inanimate insanity

(( uh... Hello. Been a minute, huh? Hope y'all are doing well.
tldr; Anxiety bad, Lusamine is on indefinite hiatus, and a new OC coming Soon™.
More details below the cut, if you're interested.
So since November my anxiety has SKYROCKETED and I have no idea why! No amount of medications or therapy has helped at all! I'm having several panic attacks a week for Literally NO Reason, I can barely leave the house and dudes. I'm so fucking tired. I'm doing my best but things have been so hard these past several months. I'm starting to wonder if my anxiety being at a constant 8 is just my new normal :')
On top of that I also feel... Weird, about Lusamine. Not sure why but I don't wanna be here anymore! So, Lusamine is going on indefinite hiatus. It's very possible I'll return to her someday! I've put too much love and care into her muse to just abandon her entirely, but for now... I don't know. It's also possible I'll get obsessed with her again soon now that I've made the hiatus official LMAO.
I've also lost the email to Shelly so. RIP to that I guess.
With all that said, I miss writing here so much!! I've been nuzlocking ORAS and I fought delinquent Sharlene like 40 times while grinding up new team members and uuhh she's my OC now LMAO. Her blog and google doc are basically ready to go, I just need to post a promo which... Man I don't know when I'll be brave enough to do that but IT'LL HAPPEN...... so. be on the lookout for that.
I think that about covers it? I feel like I've missed so much so you guys will have to catch me up.

Okay, so now that I'm FINALLY done making my DRDT video and am now exporting, I finally have time to make a long-ass post on who I think the killer is most likely to be. There is a very clear opinion in this essay. Be warned, it is a lot of text. This post might be formatted weird, because I copied it from Google Docs. Spoilers for Ch2 Episode 11.
First of all, the evidence. Here is a list: The motive secrets The fish on the playground Tape wrapped around the carousel (likely the grippy tape Rose mentioned) Rope hidden in the carousel Marks near the swingset Red marks on Arei’s wrist Arei’s broken neck Ripped up note in trash Tape in trash, identical to the tape on carousel Water jugs with handles missing Ball of clothes glued together with starch
Broken lights in the playground Apparently there is some difference in the gym, though I can’t find it now. I think someone said some of the weights are moved?
Evidence Discussion Time: Our time of death is probably wrong. The jugs in the trash could be used to keep water around and stored in the minifridge in the gym, thus making the murder able to be committed during nighttime, and the marks on Arei’s wrists look too new to be made last night. Her body was also still moving when we found it, implying it was hanged recently. The note could be fake, for all we know - it’s way less suspicious to put a note in a pocket, which everyone here has, then to rip it up into multiple pieces and throw it in the trash, not to mention more time-efficient. The ball of clothes is oddly, perfectly… circular. Almost like it’s wrapped around something. As far as I know, Charles never mentioned the weight of it, so it could be wrapped around a bowling ball. Or something. More on this soon. Honestly, the fish could turn out to have nothing to do with the murder. Maybe they were just there to help establish the fake time of death. If Arei was hanged normally, then she should’ve died of strangulation. However, her neck is broken instead. Pretty much everyone and their mom has already said this, but it’s most likely that there was a pulley system involving the carousel of some sort that broke her neck. Also, there’s some extra rope tied around the top pole of the swing set (???), which further supports this theory. Also, if the ball of clothes really is wrapped around something like a bowling ball, the killer could’ve used it as the weight in the system. Considering Arei doesn’t seem to have any signs of struggle, it’s possible the killer knocked her out with Rose’s turpentine, which she mentioned she lost. The marks near the swing set could technically disprove this, but it’s not too hard to fake these marks. Not to mention, the scratches could help prove the fake time of death, depending on how long it would take any marks on the floor to disappear.
Okay, it’s time to actually talk about our suspects. I’ll be ranking them from least suspicious to most suspicious, and talk about my top two suspects in more detail.
Literally impossible: Xander, Min, Teruko, Charles Don’t think I have to explain for our former three. Charles has a phobia of dead bodies, not just blood, so I highly doubt he’d be the killer.
Highly unlikely: Eden, Arturo, Veronika, David, Arei Eden: Her being the culprit would only make Teruko’s beliefs in Not Trusting Anyone Ever only get worse. Arturo: Seems like he’ll get character development, sooner or later. Veronika: Seems too obvious, saying weird shit like that she’s excited about the killing game, and just wants to be entertained. David: Just… well, you know. He’s batshit insane and has admitted to the crime, all Nagito-style, so I don’t think it’s him. Probably antagonist, tbh. Arei: See above for hanging and strangulation vs broken neck.
Bit likely: Nico, Rose, Ace Nico: I don’t know particularly why, but they’re just kind of suspicious. I don’t know if they’d risk it, though, considering they were just caught red-handed trying to kill Ace. Rose: Considering the note is probably fake, she could be acting like she’s trying to help, but in actuality, is putting us on the wrong path? I can’t really see it being her, though. Ace: Kind of suspicious, considering he conveniently didn’t catch anything besides Arei confronting David about his secret. But if he was going to kill anyone, it’d probably be Nico.
Somewhat likely: Hu, J Hu: Everyone has been jumping on her, and honestly? Kind of justified. She’s refused to reveal the secret she has, she’s refused to reveal her own secret, and now she’s had that whole… breakdown… thing. She also has an alibi during the fake time of death, which could be intentional planning. Not to mention, she gives major Kirumi Tojo vibes, and you know how that went. She did get new sprites though, and I dunno if they’d kill her off right when she got new clothes. J: She has been JUMPING on everyone vaguely suspicious. Immediately jumped to Arturo being the culprit, then immediately jumping to David being the culprit. At this point like… girl, just keep your mouth shut, pretty please. Arei did do the same exact thing last trial, and she turned out to be innocent, however. Aside from that, she could use Arturo as an alibi, maybe. She has the universal remote, which could help her sneak up on Arei. She’s also on the title card, and she hasn’t had all that much screen time this chapter despite that.
Highest Suspect #2: Levi Look, he’s honestly getting the Hu treatment by the fandom but slightly toned down. But besides that, he is super suspicious. Arei got the murderer secret, and everyone has honestly pretty much narrowed that down to him. To be honest, he probably killed his family or something. He’s strong enough to spin the carousel for the pulley mechanism, and he stated that he was in the laundry room during 7:30 to 10, which could relate to the ball of clothes. He also hasn’t said anything particularly helpful in any way during the trial. However, I don’t know why he’d set up a fake time of death, and then not give himself an alibi during the fake time of death. Dumbass.
Highest Suspect Ever: Whit Look me in the eyes and try to tell me he’s not at least a little suspicious. I won't hold the hanging joke thing against him, as it could just be a case of unlucky phrasing, but it could also be a Celeste case, where he says something he's not supposed to (or it was subconscious). Aside from that, a lot of this evidence seems to point to him. He has an alibi during the fake time of death, and he willingly volunteered to piece together the note, possibly knowing that it would give him an "alibi" for the time of death. He would know where the old clothes were, seeing that he was there when Teruko and Hu got their new clothes. David is most likely being framed by being sent to near the place of the crime, and guess who sent him there?
You guessed it, Whit Young. He's also, like, mad suspicious for behavioral reasons. He claimed Rose's secret when she said she didn't see who owned it and no one came forward to claim it, and didn't seem all that concerned about it. It could just be his gestures vaguely non-concerned nature, but still suspicious. But wait! I can hear you asking. If Whit's the culprit, then why did he deflect the topic when the note was brought up, knowing that it could frame Eden and solidify his alibi? Why did he delay revealing David's secret, knowing that it could frame David as well? Well, dear reader, let me explain. For our first issue, it comes down to Teruko's nature. She's distrusting, blunt, and won't leave any issue that could help solve the murder alone. If Whit was the culprit, he could safely assume that Teruko would eventually get the note out of Eden, so he could derail the topic while knowing it would eventually come up and make his "alibi" and look less suspicious at the same time. For the second issue, it comes down to Whit himself and a key point in his personality: his intuition.
In the first trial and his FTE, he makes a point of saying that he knows things because of his strong intuition. Hell, it's bolded every time he says it. Consider this: what if his intuition had already made him suspect David as not who he said he was, and Whit finding out that the manipulator secret belonged to him and David lying about his secret only solidified this? From the second screenshot, it can be inferred that Whit knows when people are acting. If Whit knew David was lying, being manipulative and trying to cause a murder, then he could frame him, knowing that it would be likely that David would break down and reveal his true colors when accused, only serving to incriminate him further. Another thing: the main reason Whit admits to having David's secret is that Charles realizes he is lying. What if Whit, using his intuition again, is banking on that fact? It's a note situation - he knows it'll be revealed anyway, so he can delay it and make himself look like he's hiding the secret out of concern for David's career. But wait! I can hear you asking again. Whit set off the BDA! He couldn't have set off the BDA if he was the culprit! First, let's talk about Whit and Eden's thoughts on searching the playground. Neither one of them particularly wanted to go. Eden is explained by her probably wanting to prepare herself for seeing Arei's body, or not wanting to believe that Arei is dead. But what about Whit? There's no real explanation as to why he was apprehensive to go in. If my theory is true and he is the culprit, he would probably investigate on the first floor so he doesn't mess up the BDA, but Teruko grabbing him and Eden ruined that. He was less expressive about it than Eden, but he could have been just as worried, if not more. So basically, it’s sheer dumb luck that Teruko grabbed him, but we’ve already seen that one before (Read: Min arriving at the exact time Charles left). Anyway, what I'm trying to get at here is that someone else saw the body before Eden and Teruko. And who would be the most likely to have done that? David Chiem, who's already trying to kill us all. Not to mention, he tried to stop MonoTV from revealing the secrets because Arei was missing.
Considering he probably isn't the culprit, it kind of seems like he knew someone was already dead. The mystery discoverer could also be Veronika, who's already said she just wants to see things be interesting, but I don't know about that.
My only grey areas in this theory are why Whit would want to escape, as this would kill Charles, and the fact that he was kind of friends with Arei. Anyway, I already wrote 9 paragraphs about Whit being the culprit, so if he ends up being innocent, this'll just be embarrassing. Let me know your thoughts.

On The Dissatisfying Characterisation Of Wanda Maximoff in DSMoM and a Brief Aside on the Misogyny Of Superhero Films
This is very long winded, unedited and has sat in my google docs since the day after DSMoM's release. I love it dearly.
Word Count: 3203
Warnings: Obvious spoilers for DSMoM, discussions of motherhood, discussions of the Red Room and violation of female autonomy, Fleur's thinly veiled desires to replace Joss Whedon and Michael Waldron for their poor writing, many rambles to many other essays that I will eventually write.
Please let me preface this by acknowledging that outside of this movie, there are definitely things done poorly with Wanda's characterisation, storyline, and the MCU in general. I will always be first and foremost a comic fan and champion, but the thoughts I had on this topic refused to leave until I wrote them. If anyone wants to discuss anything further, I'm more than open so long as conversation is civil. That being said, please enjoy my lengthy, unceasingly detailed thoughts on fictional, non-existent characters.
Let's begin!
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, while fantastical and a great delivery on a genre bending superhero film, is not without its faults. In particular, I’ll highlight the lack of carry over on Wanda Maximoff’s character growth from the entirety of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, inclusive of her show WandaVision.
While she made for a compelling villain, it would’ve been much more satisfying for her characterisation to see the Darkhold’s corruption - also known as the main point of the film - to slowly seep into her as she grapples with knowing her children and husband are so close yet so far away, and that she has the power to find them on hand. To have it hidden from the other characters that she was in possession of the very thing they fought to destroy, and using it, would’ve made the film infinitely more meaningful as it would’ve portrayed just how broken am individual she had become, and empathy would have flown out from the audience - after all, who doesn’t know the experience of being at your wits end, so close to the happiness you want in life yet so, so far away?
Yes, we could empathise with her from the first scene, we’re quite literally led into the depths of her grief. We see the life she could’ve had in some reality that wasn’t as cruel, the love and support that used to come from the very people she lost. We’re brought to a bright colour palette with sweeping shots, showing the joy and chaotic nature of motherhood, with hints of a Wanda we’ve only briefly seen in the illusion of Wandavision. The choices made in the mise en scene of the moment tell as all we need to know - from Wanda’s brown hair reminiscing her days of Sokovian childhood, where she would watch sitcoms with her family and run rampant with her twin brother, to the athleisure wear of her outfit symbolising her comfort in this reality and the brightness of everything in this scene portraying the brightness within Wanda when she is with those she loves. After being comforted by this scene, the filmmakers tear the illusion apart and cruelly reveal Wanda’s withered state, a broken woman climbing out of bed, facing the nightmare of her true life. The colour palette dims, reflecting the life flowing out of Wanda, the score is ripped from our ears. We are left with the stark, soundless reality of grief, a tear teased out of our eyes akin to those so freely falling from Wanda’s.
I’m also led to note the absence of Vision, her husband, in this dream scene. Even within an idyllic reality, she subconsciously believes she must sacrifice something - after all, it has been compounded throughout her life. This notable absence is seen throughout the movie but is not without commonality in the MCU - they like to replace one loss in Wanda’s life with the newest. Throughout Age Of Ultron the closeness of the twins - Pietro and Wanda - is conveyed. From checking on each other in battle, speaking without words, tender platonic forehead kisses and their shared turmoil over their orphaning, their sibling relationship seems central to their characterisation. All moments lead up to Pietro’s sacrifice of life to save a young boy and the guttural, cutting scream Wanda releases while feeling the life seep out of her brother, the only longstanding family she ever had. You truly believe you can convince me that a woman, so close to her brother who she shares these sacrificial ideals with, would be so easily corrupted by a Big Bad Evil Book that she’d kidnap and murder a child just to find happiness? There’s no true believability in that, especially when you factor in her longstanding temperament to sacrifice her livelihood for the good of others. Regardless of measures of believability, Marvel once again forefronts the most recent loss in Wanda’s life, her children, without properly concluding her connection to other losses. Sure, it can be argued that some closure was found during WandaVision over her brother’s death, but death stays with us forever. If grief, like Vision told Wanda, is love persevering, why would the love of her brother not factor into her search through the multiversal cosmos? During her speech at Kamar-Taj, where she highlights all the loss and sacrifice experienced in her life, it feels disjointed that she wouldn’t bring in the intimate loss of her brother, and furthermore it feels like a disservice to her character, who is so interpersonal and motivated purely by the desire for family and connection, that she only searches for a partially fulfilling reality where she just has her kids and not her husband and brother. It feels like another notice in a long list of missed opportunities by Marvel.
Further exploration of her memories - or even mentions of her passed brother - would’ve better fed into her role as the tortured hero. Through brief mentions of how she “blew a hole into the head of the man [she] loved,” we see the most recent of her losses, but what about those that initiated her grief? Those that set off a chain reaction in a long, complex process of sacrifice? Every fragment of her story in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films sees her sacrifice, lose something or suffer for great powers that seem to control her rather than the other way around. They exact a toll without the influence of the Darkhold, a concept that has been extremely compelling to audiences thus far, so why was her archetype as the tortured hero not explored in more depth? I again fall to the subject of subtle corruption, seeing a continued grapple with a hero who has lost so much in her life being tempted to maybe, just maybe, take something for herself.
Even with the corrupting influence of the Dark Hold, I believe that Wanda wouldn’t accept without hesitation. To do so would negate the entirety of her growth in WandaVision, where she made the excruciating and gut wrenching choice to set the citizens of Westview free, even at the cost of her personal happiness and the only thing she ever wanted - a family. In fact, it was this aching longing for family that led to Westview’s entrapment in the first place: the continual compounding of trauma in her life, accompanied by the fresh memory of having seen her husband’s corpse and being denied the right of a funeral for him - and, in extension, the right to grieve - sees her reactive magic cast out in a cascade of emotion, building her some modicum of comfort, even though she didn’t consciously decide to cast that hex. The conclusion of the series sees Wanda once again isolated in her grief, hoping for a moment to say hello again to the family that gave her life purpose. Even with these desires, she chooses to accept responsibility for her actions and leave Westview, retiring to a cottage in the woods. She can be said to be at a crossroads - in possession of the Darkhold and the knowledge that she is the Scarlet Witch but also still a hero at heart, continuing her life of sacrifice for the good of others.
Wanda’s character would’ve better been developed in her own solo film, where her peril at being held captive by the Darkhold would be in the limelight, where a grapple with morality and who she believes herself to be falters under the sway of all she ever desired. Even prolonged exploration into other options to find her family, to bring her boys - her boys specifically, not multiversal iterations ripped away from their mother - back to life, would’ve better grown her. Even a throwaway line mounted by the enormity of her desperation, of how there was no other choice but to use the Darkhold, would’ve defined her in more sturdy strokes than the entirety of her so-called character arc in the film. To see a complex, multilayered descent into villainy that was something beyond the typical superhero trope of a powerful woman declining into madness when emotionally unstable would’ve truly grabbed my attention and held it hostage. Instead, we are greeted with an unrefined and underdeveloped character driven to the edge by a lack of motherhood, as if there weren’t a myriad of other intricate losses that guided her to the tyranny she now exacts.
The dichotomy between motherhood and monsterhood are seen as extremes for Wanda to oscillate between by the film’s writer, rather than a labyrinthine space for her to embody. The tenderness she holds for her children is conveyed as she dreamwalks, weeping twin tears of joy and grief as she is able to hold her children again, the American accent she adopted dropped for the Sokovian one she had hidden away, her true self bared in the emotional enormity of the scene. A masterful moment by itself, it is soon discredited by an uncharacteristic flip back to the search to steal America Chavez’s powers, which would subsequently kill the child. The believability is swept from beneath our feet, the Darkhold may make Wanda ruthless enough to go through with it, but should she not stumble? Should she not consider the horror her boys would feel upon discovering that is how she reached them? Again, Wanda’s nuanced character is cheapened to pigeonhole her as a deranged villain instead of the tortured person she is. Wanda’s lack of desire to renounce her quest to find family and understanding makes her out to be a monster. Yes, she is unjustifiably murderous and in the wrong during this film. Yet she is also more, and the film had the opportunity to showcase a multifaceted character who is neither hero, antihero or villain but failed. My disappointment lies within the threads of greatness weaved between the disorganisation, the possibility so easily seen that a woman may be characterised by more than just her relationship to motherhood. The sloppiness of it all cheapens the authority of Olsen’s acting, which brings more depth to the film than the writing ever could. (And I’m not even going to discuss the choice of Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff instead of a Romani-Jewish actress, that’s discourse for another essay.)
Monsterhood vs motherhood has already been utilised by Marvel Studios to simplify female characters in the past, such as their painting of Natasha Romanoff as a monster for being unable to have children during Age Of Ultron. A child assassin, one raised in the most harrowing of environments where she constantly knew she was replaceable, that ruthlessness was the only currency she may trade in, where death must be a constant companion tucked close to her heart, reduced to one dimensionality over the fact that she has no uterus. Natasha Romanoff, who is arguably one of the most excruciatingly painful depictions of female agony, a woman who has been denied agency and self expression by the men in her life, is supposed to think herself an abomination for what someone else did to her? The plausibility of the situation is minimal. Though Natasha is known for her intensive self loathing and driven to help others to wipe the red out of her ledger, she understands the people who operate out of monstrosity: men like the handlers in the Red Room who tormented her. The Red Room is known to be a place that snatches young girls from their beds, removes their autonomy and gruellingly subjugates them into unrecognisable killing machines devoid of purpose beyond that which their trigger is aimed at, and a wombless woman is depicted as the true horror. Those people manipulated young girls into believing they only have the propensity for murder and bloodshed, yet the emphasis of monstrosity is enforced upon a woman who was unwillingly sterilised? How despicable modern media is, that its veiled misogyny positions women to believe themselves to be empty vessels that are only filled by the pursuit of motherhood. A woman without the capacity for motherhood is deemed as a monster by a male writer, just as a mother without her children is worthless and incomplete. It’s as if the complexity of female superhero stories often goes undiscovered purely to simplify them into something easily categorizable, rather than something as murky, blurred and complicated as their male counterparts.
Moreover, the femininity of characters is often used to credit them as easily disposable. Despite Wanda’s blatant villainy, she was still being possessed and corrupted by the Darkhold, an item that fed off of her trauma and twisted her innermost longings into hellish, insatiable desires. Any other character would receive attempts for help, to save them from this fate, and yet Doctor Strange dismisses the convolution of her situation with a simple “Wanda’s gone now,” treating her as an assailant, rather than a fellow soldier with whom he marched into battle with. Now, you may consider me crass or radical for this interpretation, and I would too, had we not recently received Spiderman: No Way Home from Marvel Studios. One of the prominent thematic issues of the film is that all are redeemable, and a considerable portion of the plot sees the protagonist attempt to remedy and help the afflictions of the antagonists. What is it that others Wanda from this fate, what separates her from these established and continual villains of the MCU? Why, she’s an emotionally unstable woman, and despite being corrupted by external influences that may be overcome by factors seen in the movie (say, the antithesis of the Darkhold, the Book Of Vishanti), Hollywood views her as utterly disposable. It is far simpler to discredit and toss away a powerful woman than it is to explore her in full complexity, to file her away in a long list of emotionally unstables than to exhibit the complicatedness that is her sum total, allowing her the space to grow beyond the limiting archetypes of hero and villain into something much, much more enticing. So many missed opportunities, so much thinly hidden misogyny.
During the final scenes of Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness, we are once again shown a broken, grief stricken Wanda. While I think a slow corruption would’ve better serviced the continuity of her characterisation, I understand and acquiesce to the choices made here. Wanda, in her corrupted, ruthless state, is brought to the reality she’s been aching for. Her children are terrified as this is no longer the kind, gentle mother they know. They fear her. They scream at her. They beg her not to hurt them. This torrid rejection from the people she quite literally corrupted her soul for shatters her. As the only people she believes meaningful, it makes sense that they can pull the wool from her eyes (though I must wonder why Billy and Tommy did not fight back against this demented version of their mother with their powers, instead only throwing toys and cowering. It’s almost as if the writer likes to forget to incorporate details from a certain series called WandaVision - oh wait.) Wanda did not believe she was a monster, only a mother reaching out for the unconditional love of her children, and now she sees the extremity of her actions. It is laid out in front of her, the immense harm caused by placing her happiness over the safety of others. It truly feels as if the essence of this film was an undoing and redoing of Wanda’s growth in WandaVision, a keen cinematic cycle where self awareness ends in self abhorrence. It’s a film that we’ve seen played before, only now with amplified stakes and a lack of emotional depth that WandaVision brought. We see the same growth produced by WandaVision’s conclusion replayed in Multiverse Of Madness seemingly for no reason other than to have an intense, ruthless villain for Doctor Strange to project his moral quandaries onto. While extraordinarily enjoyable, the nuance of Wanda’s character was renounced to make her into a simple plot device. At the film’s conclusion she is no more and no less developed than she was in WandaVision, the only thing that may have doubled was her self loathing.
The ending of Multiverse of Madness is the only thing I can say was in step with any previous characterisation Marvel Studios has given Wanda. It parallels the position Wanda was in during WandaVision, when she becomes aware that her grief and trauma is spilling over onto and affecting the Westview citizens. It’s as if she’s brought to consciousness, and when she is, she is horrified. This self awareness ushers her to take accountability and do whatever is in her power to make things right by destroying the hex. While it is unseen by the Westview citizens, who have only felt her pain in vague extension and not comprehended the expansive trauma that brought Wanda to this moment, the audience understands Wanda’s true heart to help others, even at a cost to herself. Multiverse Of Madness’ ending somewhat depicts this sentiment too; it may be but a faint echo of the emotionally intune WandaVision, but I’ll take it. Other characters in the story don’t comprehend the full brunt of her motivations and suffering, even some of the audience do not. And despite Wanda doing everything wrong, we inexplicably cannot help ourselves but empathise and connect ourselves to her. We have all experienced the agony of being so close yet so far to that which fulfils us, desperate for what we believe will complete us. We all ache for true happiness and supportive love, to know that who we are is valid and that we are loved despite our flaws. Wanda is a character who craves love, the epitome of the human condition, and has no one and nowhere to receive it from. The only comfort she can receive at the end of the film, where she is left with the carnage of her actions, is to know that her boys will be loved. Only Wanda herself, though a multiverse variant, can understand the anguish of 616 Wanda. (Afterall, if our Wanda could dream of her children, 838 Wanda must be harassed with a nightly deluge of trauma where her boys disintegrate, her brother’s body fills with bullets and her husband has his forehead ripped apart.) And as she makes the choice to collapse the Wungadore Temple around herself, Wanda takes true responsibility for her harrowing villainy.
While not a satisfying conclusion to her journey, this end feels fitting. Wanda continues her sacrificial streak, this time forfeiting her life in order to close the Darkhold across the multiverse and ensure no others will be tempted by its corrupting force. I feel vast sadness for Wanda, a character whose main flaw is being ruled by her emotions and the longing for connection, one that so strongly resonates within myself. I feel deeply saddened by the trajectory of her journey, that no matter what path she takes, self sacrifice or self servitude, she cannot find happiness or that which makes her life meaningful. While not a beautiful or redeeming end to one of my favourite characters, it eventually manages to reinforce the primary tenets of her character and hold a mirror to the tortured soul within us all.
You've reached the end! Congratulations, you deserve a cookie for your efforts. Thanks for taking the time to read, it means the world to me :)

✿ did anything major change when you started writing a good myth to when you finished (or where youre at now if unfinished) ?
+ im genuinely obsessed w it and get excited all day sunday knowing an update is coming !! <3
omg you are so sweet!! I started rambling again so the answer is under the cut bc i went on for 10 paragraphs
fic ask game!
and the answer is yes, oh my god yes, like....most things??? i am a known pantser meaning anyone who thinks i started this story knowing where it was going is wrong, unfortunately. i think it maybe took me ten chapters before i finally went "wait, how do i want this story to end????"
i write out of order and i tend to have a rough plan in my brain for how i want things to shake out and certain plot beats that i want to happen, but i definitely don't have anything mapped out chapter by chapter. the chapter I'm going to post in an hour or two i literally sat in front of my google doc and went "ok.......actually have no idea what's going to happen this week........i know what's going to happen next chapter but i have put no thought in how to get there"
SO that being said, i have written the ending scenes and know how everything is going to shake out but for a solid 4 months there I was like "okay, the ending is going to be any of these three things" until i finally settled on a direction.
also, i had a huge existential crisis when i turned 24 and then another even bigger one when i turned 25 and i changed career paths twice and made some MASSIVE changes in my personal life so i would be lying if that didn't also effect the things i projected onto the story in terms of "kaz as a person who knows what he wants and knows how to get there" to "kaz as someone who thought he knew what he wanted but is now incredibly indecisive and grappling with his own mortality" which i think is a positive change overall and is happening very naturally
when i first started this story i was kind of "ooh two bastards are evil together and dark sided and plotting schemes and it's GAY" and then the reality of being in kaz's head is like "ooh.....200k slowburn"
OH and the length, definitely the length. i found a message in the discord server where i sent a snippet of something i wrote in 2021 (that i SOMEHOW still haven't posted) and i was like "this isn't going to happen for another 30k words" (laughs in 70k later and i still haven't gotten there) and someone was like "so excited that means the story is going to be that long" and i was like "I'm estimating it's going to be around 50k" and now here i am around the halfway point at 112k words................sobs..........
i had my big climactic scene penned for happening around when shadow and bone ends, with kaz being forced to make a similar choice to alina (this was over a year ago so in the very early stages of planning the story) and then somewhere along the road i was like...no it's going to stretch across the three books
also very small changed detail but in my notes on my google doc i have the note "the darkling gives kaz flowers and kaz eats them" so if that lets you know how things have changed tonally ahaha.
and i have multiple snippets and deleted scenes created from me writing things out of order and then getting to them and being like...yeah there's no place here for this conversation to happen.....rip.

I was tagged by Jams @not-nervous-jester to share my writing process so here you go, I'm sorry but this will get a bit long and it'll not be proofread cause life's too short (and my laptop has 4% battery left) 🙃
Do you write in order?
Yes and No. I start off any writing project (whether it be fanfic or work) with a detailed outline of the major plot points. I do the endings first more often than not when I'm planning a fic, then the middle, and finally, once those are out of the way, then I'll tackle the beginning kinda.
Because I write like a person possessed, the beginnings sort of just happen on their own but I need a guideline for hitting the major points or it will be all out of whack.
How fully formed does your writing come out the first try?
About 100%. Because I am so incredibly stupid and anal about this stuff, my first try is essentially a weighty tome of garbage. You can only throw out the garbage once I'm done, you can't add more to it. I guess this analogy doesn't work but it works in terms of the ✨ vibe ✨ I'm trying to create, stay with me people!
How many drafts do you go through?
Just one actually. If there is stuff in the first draft that I am not okay with, I will stop writing and simply leave it for a week or a month until I feel like picking it up again later 😐 The only time I actually create a new draft is when parts of the original are unreadable. Actually I'm lying, I just add stuff to the first draft while whistling and being inconspicuous.
Tell me about your process.
First comes the playlist. It HAS to start with a playlist. Every project has a separate playlist. Songs can be repeated, playlists cannot be the same though. It's a thing, and if I don't do it, it'll be a whole separate thing tbh.
The playlist has to be instrumental, it has to be mainly cellos and violins for the meatier scenes, piano is okay for the fluffy non-plot filler bits that I'm writing for my own entertainment. There can be no words or bits of the fic will turn into a Metallica song, I'll be sued, I'll lose everything and most importantly, the fic would never be finished.
Next comes the poetry, stuff that is actually inspiring the work and pushing it forward. That usually goes in tumblr drafts so it's easier for me to access from my phone. This is usually screenshots from e-books or actual pictures from physical books.
Because I do a fairly detailed outline beforehand, I usually start writing the beginning because that's what I haven't planned out yet and am most excited by. This takes me the longest amount of time and I also do a LOT of rewriting at this stage because personally, as a reader, I do abandon a lot of fics if the beginning isn't doing it for me.
I use google sheets cause I'll sometimes reread my stuff over the phone but I only ever write on the laptop, my phone is mainly for rereading and obsessing.
I also edit as I go along based on feel and make notes where I need to add stuff. If I edit later once I'm done, it usually doesn't come out like I want it to.
Once chapters are done, I copy paste them into Google Translate so I can hear them being read back to me. I catch a record number of missed typos and errors this way. I'm very conscious of the way I write dialogues because I'm so nitpicky when I'm reading other people's dialogues and this also allows me to correct issues with those (the "he would never fucking say it like that" errors)
After the first couple chapters, I'll share the google doc with mutuals and friends (mostly Ara @stedebonnets ) and I don't have a beta reader. Plot points I'll discuss with Josh and Joy 😭 and I don't publish fics on ao3 until the entire thing is written cause I'm a big stinking fic abandoner lmao (smauglock fic from 5 years ago rip 🪦 sorry readers)
This is the writing process that went into Need for Stede ✌️which was incredibly fun to write!
I'd like to tag @wearfinethingsalltoowell @abigailpents @talkstoself @red-sky-in-mourning @ratchet @stedebonnit and anyone else who wants to do this!

Free or Cheap to Use Writing Programs tested and reviewed part 1 - Papyrus Author
If you're new to this, I'm what George RR Martin has once referred to as a gardener writer. The type of writer that starts at the fun part rather than the beginning. This in turn leads me to have a bunch of google docs about the same bunch of assholes that are all around the timeline as well as some docs that can only be described as fanfiction of my own work. Last week, I started my quest to find the best possible free or cheap-to-use writing program to help my disorderly and, frankly, absurd writing workflow.
The first program I tested out was something called Papyrus Writer. It's a program that focuses on formatting your writing as well as giving you a bunch of tools to make things easier for people like me. Things like sticky notes and built-in character sheets aim to keep all your thoughts all in one place and slightly organized.
Immediately upon booting it, I could tell that the program had a lot more bells and whistles than my basset-hound-ass brain could handle. It's got all sorts of modes and stuff and requires tutorials in order to use it. I watched half of one before I moved on to more exciting escapades like watching that guy who scams phone scammers. Essentially, I was so overwhelmed with options that I kind of killed my own productivity.
Things I Like About Papyrus Writer
Sticky notes - This function makes it easy to get ideas down quickly while not needing to get over to your ideas doc or notes app. It will also scroll down with you so you can see it all the time. You can also use this function for a text snippet where you highlight text, add a text snippet, and then that text is there until you replace it in the doc. Think of this as Word Jail. The sticky notes go on your pinboard (the area behind the document) although you can only have one in the free version
Integrated Character Sheets - I like that I can quickly and easily add a character sheet or access existing ones to make changes when I write something new about them. It keeps me in check with my own lore so I'm not forgetting details or writing them OOC. You can hyperlink their names as well for quick acess
within these character sheets, you can also add images and avatars to have everything in one place. You're also able to click to a list of all the characters you have in the project so you can pull up their respective sheets
3. Thinkboards - While I'm renowned for never having a plan in my writing short of my daydreams, I do like this feature. They have tons of templates to pick from or you can build your own. I haven't played with this a ton, but I found it helpful to even just look through the template
4. Moving Chapters Around - This is arguably the most important aspect for me considering how I like to write. You can move your chapters around and reorder them any way you like. Along this same vein, there is a timeline function but I've so far found that less than intuitive. With that said, simply moving the chapters around is done by just clicking and dragging which I appreciate.
Things I Don't Like
The full version is a subscription service. I don't think I need to elaborate on why 14.99 USD billed monthly doesn't appeal to me. However, the program is very useable without paying the subscription. Everything that requires the subscription is clearly marked and only enhancements to the software are paywalled (ie: multiple pinboards, changing the picture on your pinboard)
I'm not fully sure how to describe it but typing on the software is just weird to me. Like it will hyphenate words instead of just going to the next line which is great for formatting for print and all but I'm just not used to it
No mobile option - rip to people who do their best work on their phone/tablet i guess. I mean I guess when I consider everything this program can do, I'm not mad at it. I personally prefer to have access to my work at any time in case I get the urge to write randomly.
Overall Thoughts
I think it's a good all-in-one program, honestly. It's definitely the most organized I've been with my work in a while. I like that it's got a lot of dodads and thingamabobs that are all in all pretty useful. I also like that id doesn't suck my laptop battery dry. On a scale of 1 (1 tab open on chrome) to 10 (Adobe products) I would put it at about a 4 especially considering I had my browser open and working all day too.

3, 15, 17, 18 for the weird writing asks!!
Thanks Fee!
3. What is your writing ritual and why is it cursed?
Okay, so I used to write on Google Docs for the longest time and then a few months I told myself that maybe it wasn't the best privacy-wise. So I've switched to using Open Office, which I think helps me focus better because having it on a separate window away from my web browser reduces the temptation to stop mid-sentence to check another tab, you know? But at the same time, this feels VERY cursed because my version doesn't have any kind of spelling check, plus my WIPs are now saved on my internal drive, and since I don't make backups of them that often, I live in fear or my laptop dying on me and making me lose weeks of progress
Oh also, there's basically no word count lololol
Am I gonna do anything about any of this though? No, we're raw-dogging life over here 😎
15. Do you write in the margins of your books? Dog-ear your pages? Read in the bath? Why or why not? Do you judge people who do these things? Can we still be friends?
I already answered this earlier but the short answer is I currently don't, but I don't judge people who do (unless it's a library book or something)
17. Talk to me about the minutiae of your current WIP. Tell me about the lore, the history, the detail, the things that won’t make it in the text.
I guess I'll talk about my fic for the Zouis Fest (although it might not even be part of it in the end, because I keep writing for the Dream Team fandom instead rip)
Anyway, I'm still not sure exactly what I'm doing with it. Like the main idea is that it's a Zayn-POV, canon-compliant(ish), present day fic where they run into each other in Hong Kong and are kinda forced to acknowledge what happened all those years ago, and figure out how to move forward. So like, lots of angst and feelings of betrayal and conflict and serious conversations because that's basically all I know how to (and all I want to) write lol
At the moment I'm not sure whether to keep it focused on their friendship or introduce some kind of romance aspect to it (toying with the idea that they had some kind FWB situation going while they were in the band). But since it's canon-compliant I'd feel kinda iffy doing that. I've never actually written canon-compliant before, and I have to admit that it scares me a bit, also because I've been extremely removed from the 1d fandom lately
Anyway one thing I'm sure about is that I want a scene to be inspired by the following verse from Blur's My Terracotta Heart:
And when we fly tomorrow over the Java seas And my younger maps will be there with me 'Cause they remind me of swimming out too far one day Then the coral was gone, but I didn't care anyway
Something about Zayn going too far to swim and Louis watching him almost drown but not realizing what's happening, as a metaphor for what went wrong between them
Yeah, that's pretty much all I can share at the moment. I should really get back to it
18. Choose a passage from your writing. Tell me about the backstory of this moment. How you came up with it, how it changed from start to end.
Zayn Malik is, without a doubt, the most beautiful person Louis has ever had the privilege to lay his eyes on. To the point that if he were to explain aesthetic attraction to someone, he’d probably say something like: “The feeling I get when I look at that gorgeous guy in my English 586 class.”
That's the opening line from Situations Like These, my aro/ace Zouis fic from the first Zouis fest.
It's one of those stories that really started out with just a scene rather than an idea/concept, which I think is the case for a lot of my fics actually. I mean, I did have a prompt for this fic, which was something like "they're both ace but don't tell the other for fear of driving him away", so it was pretty vague in terms of setting and everything else, really.
I remember coming up with that opening scene and the bits of dialogues at my grandparents' place right before getting on the road back home with my parents, and since I'd rather die than write in front of them, I just had to make sure to commit everything to my memory by repeating it all in my head throughout the day, until we were finally home and I could write it down. But that's something I do a lot, I think, just come up with stuff (typically dialogue) at inconvenient times and praying that I remember it by the time I can write it down 😬 And then of course when you actually settle in front of your computer, you feel like all your inspiration is gone
Anyway, I think this might be one of my favourite opening scenes I've written, I feel like it's pretty fun while setting the tone and dynamics for the whole fic

Fic Writer Questions
Thanks for tagging me @kitaychan 🧡
1.) How many works do you have on AO3
22
2.) What’s your total AO3 count?
82,884
3.) How many fandoms have you written for and what are they?
as of now I'm only writing for hetalia, but there's a couple of short drabbles on my abandoned marvel blog and some unposted sherlock stuff 👀
4.) What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
1. Say it. (rusame) and the nsfw drabble collection are on the same count rn
2. a visitor. (rusame)
3. How'd I ever get so lost? (pruk)
4. Let's get this over with, shall we? (prukden)
5. Unwinding Mr. Kirkland (mint chocolate - england x 2p america)
5.) What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
Ohh that's easy, Just once, before it's too late. I really put my everything into this. 💔
6.) What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?
That would be my 5 times crack fic. It's really cute and I still love the last chapter. 🥰
7.) Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you’ve written?
I'm not interested in crossovers at all so I haven't written any.
8.) Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Yes, that's most of what I write and it's whatever I find hot. 😅 I cannot write porn if it's not something I think would be sexy cause I know it won't come out good and I take pride and writing good smut. Other than that I don't really have a preference for which kind of gender/sex to write. If I care enough about a character there will eventually be a nsfw scenario featuring them on my mind :)
9.) Do you respond to comments, why or why not?
I usually do, because it makes me happy when someone takes the time to comment on my fics and I want them to know 💜
10.) Have you ever received hate on a fic?
Luckily, no. ✌
11.) Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Again, luckily, no. ✌
12.) Have you ever had a fic translated?
No, but I'd be lying if I said I never thought about writing a fic in english and a translation in my native language just for fun.
13.) Have you ever co-written a fic before?
No, but I will hopefully one day turn a rp between maryeve and me into a fic so I guess that would count?
14.) What’s your all time favorite ship?
It changes a lot but rn I love CanRus, nyo america x england, SuFin x DenNor, and FrUsUk. 💕
15.) What’s a WIP that you want to finish but you don’t think you ever will?
The unposted frying pangle smut from my google docs. I started writing it about two years ago and haven't looked at it in more than a year. By now I'd probably hate it so much I'd have to rewrite the whole thing.. 😶
16.) What are your writing strengths?
I have been told I'm good with (dramatic) character introductions and setting the mood. I always get these super detailed images in my head and then I try to convey those feelings and pictures into words and I'd say I'm doing very well with that. ✨🔥
17.) What are your writing weaknesses?
Plot, planning things ahead, and actually posting the stuff I do finish. 💀
18.) What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in fic?
I like it when it's just single words that are not plot relevant (like greetings and short exclamations that can be made sense of in the context), but you will never find me writing entire paragraphs in a different language just to make you scroll to the end of a fic multiple times throughout a chapter so you can look for a translation (sorry if I sound like bitch here but I hate having my reading flow interrupted rip)
19.) What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Sherlock (BBC) I think there's still one of the fics on my ancient instagram lol
20.) What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?
This is easier to answer than I thought when I first read through these questions, but it's definitely Unwinding Mr. Kirkland. I spent months editing it until I was happy with it and I love it I love every last sentence I wrote there. 💖

platonic ships: Bennett, Fischl, Wanderer, Venti, Childe (im thinking enemies to lovers but instead of lovers it's besties)
queerplatonic ships: Itto, Alhaitham, Kaveh, Albedo, Tighnari, Kokomi, Diluc (i think he would be good at Holding), Capitano, Cyno
romantic (??? kind of?? more like the more affectionate end of qp) ships: Miko, Ayato, Kazuha, Zhongli, Pantalone
WOAGH it looks like you put so much thought into this omg (/vpos) thank you so so so much !! it makes me !! rly happy to see aaaauu !!!
im !! fascinated by the first section, the only character there ive ever really thought about Much is Childe but i feel like id have a more enemies to like. still enemies but almost in an antagonistic sibling sort of way ? he ruffles my hair and i bite his arm so hard his sleeve rips. wanderer is like a kid who wouldve bullied me in elementary school ( meant lightheartedly and affectionately)
I feel like younger me definitely wouldve gotten along really well with Fischl (and definitely found a place for myself in her fantasy world, and made one for her in mine in return). Bennett is like. i dont know what id have in common with him outside of the fact we both have so much transmasc swag -- id LOVE to drink with venti though (only small amounts though i have the tolerance of an actual real life mouse) and listen to him sing !!
those queerplatonic ships are !!! veryvery good !! I think al haitham is in a similar subsection to childe but in a Slightly Different sort of way. he and i are really similar to the point where i think wed get each other on this whole other level but also wed clash a LOT (something something autism laser beam).
Ive never thought much about Cyno, but i like his puns and he does give off a very Comfy vibe. Kokomi i resonate with on this very high frequency that im not sure how to explain in an accessible way but like. shes an older sister to me. i love her. id love to learn from tighnari but also id love to bite him and pull his tail (/aff). albedo has a type of autism that i am familiar with and comforted by i love him.
kaveh is literally like my actual partner just in video game form so of course i adore him. diluc WOULD be good at holding definitely. i want to pat his hair.
i dont think i need to go into detail about how much i adore capitano - the way i feel for him isnt platonic or romantic its a secret third thing but also a fourth and fifth thing and like eighty more on top of that i dont know how to convey the depth of my feelings for him but im looking at him with SUCH big eyes and placing my hands on either side of his head and also playing with his hair
those romantic ships are like. thats it thats so on point. you know exactly what i like. all of those (except for kazuha) have about 15k+ words of fanfiction running around in my google docs <3
#asks#general barks#thank you so much for taking the time to send this in it made me very happy to sit here and vibrate over this ask <3#sorry for the infodump (im not sorry)#general howls

Hi!! I was so honoured that my little ask got you opening google docs, hope it's okay that I'm back to gush about your writing some more!!!
"It sticks out to him because he’s seen undernourished children die from a common cold because their little bodies just couldn’t handle it." This detail is so genius to me. Like you did such a great job providing medical details about why someone who had been kidnapped and abused for that long would be in a very weakened and vulnerable state, but this part also tied it into Santi's past in a way that elevated everything even more!! The pacing, the characterisation, the heartbreak and pain of it all is just so, so moving. Doesn't matter how many times I reread it, this part always makes me so emotional.
"He hates having her out of his sight, he hates thinking about the possibility of her opening her eyes and he’s not standing right there" I WILL NEVER BE NORMAL ABOUT THIS SENTENCE. One detail about the story that I absolutely adoooore is how after he missed her for so long, he didn't immediately start touching her, that it was actually very difficult for him to get himself to a point where he felt like he could (and the detail about the nurses slowly getting him acclimated to touching her again? MY HEART) but with sentences like this you show how much he still cares and it makes the internal conflicts he is having so rich. If it hasn't been clear already I am obsessed with everything you write but this series has such a special place in my heart.
OH OH OH ALSO the conversation where she says that she doesn't want to keep him from the life he built without her and he says there was no life without her.... I think about that bit CONSTANTLY. Like I can imagine her internal monologue, how she must wonder if he found someone else, if he feels the same way about her still, the total uncertainty of what her life will look like now bc overnight everything she had was ripped from her. And it is so heartbreaking to think about the fact that she doesn't know Santi's inner monologue, bc even if you're married and you know someone really well, that doubt and insecurity of whether you still have a place in someone's life can haunt you. To have Santi in a single sentence basically throw that doubt out the window???? I don't want to work I want to religiously reread every word of this story and cry over how much I love it
currently crying in the middle of a volkswagen dealership while i wait for service to give me my car back wtf i
i mean it when i say this, i've literally had no interest in writing recently because i've felt like no one enjoys my shit anymore but your asks have brought back my inspiration and desire and ugh ugh ugh i've literally been sitting here editing and you keep me holding on bc spoiler, one day i might try to turn it into an original piece...hehehe
i'm so glad that there are so many different parts to this story that stick out for you, i always find it so interesting to see!! for me, one thing i constantly think about are months seven through ten like why did i do this to myself ugh ugh ugh

Okay so like. I told myself that I would try finding more time to write bc the lack of the content I'm interested in in the GL tag is actually appalling to me so! I decided "I'll do lazy nanowrimo" because yay fun games (making a spreadsheet and tracking how much I write) and also like motivation.
So I was in my Google drive right and I saw the doc i use to put unrelated fic ideas and was like omg!!! Do you remember that fun tumblr au I talked about where hal lost to guy and wasn't a gl when coast city kicked it (before going full parallax mode after) I should write a quick outline for that so I dont forget it!!!!
WELL. I was writing the outline and got to the murder scene and then wrote "and then he was all like:" and then DIALOGUE came after that. Which evolved to a scene. Which sparked a super fun plot twist idea/surprise element that's just SOOOOO !!!!!!!!! and then my brain exploded. So now there are two parts to this creation aka the emerald twilight au which is very hal centric with some fun angsty parallax stuff (also guy is there. And then he isn't. Rip guy) and THEN there is part two which is whatever tf kyles intro arc is called *cues up Google machine* yeah idfk. Could of sworn it had a name though.
ANYWAYS part two would be that which originally I thought would be boring bc it would be pretty unchanged but BOY WAS I WRONG. I am not going to go into detail because I am going to force myself to keep this secret to hype myself up and give me motivation to write but let's just say do NOT underestimate the butterfly effect. 😼😼😼
Also like I realized writing the one scene I was like wait.... this is an emerald twilight au.... I'm trying to write a bunch in November..... if I finish this then I could actually post something for Emerald Twilight Weekend....... (ideal scenario)
Like im not counting my chickens there bc I have literally NEVER finished a single event piece I ever started (even when I had deadlines. Oops!) But like.... mayhaps..... 😏
Idk idk. But yeah <33333 we vibin much inspiration thay was my night
#hopefully i actually work on this one 😭😭😭😭😭😭#i have too many wips istg#and i just started another one before i started this one#but that guy has a major plot hole so im stuck there trying to logic that so might as well write this#and ignore everything else i have in progress. including the fic that ive been sporadically working on since august that is 90% done 🥴👍#but yeah. mwah. <3#blah#swishy aus#swishy writing

I’m in love with the idea of twitch streamer bf eren
OKAY ME TOO!! Easily top 3 best Eren concepts imo it’s just so good and so... him, he falls on the gamer himbo boyfriend side of the scale for sure
Let’s start with his setup: purple and/or green with a dark wood tabletop. He keeps the lights green during the day or when his computer is idle, and mixes in the purple when it’s dark out because he likes the Ambiance.
Only one monitor and do not let him buy another one no matter how much he claims he needs it. He does not. He has a TV in his room tho, but it’s not mounted above or near his desk; it’s on the opposite wall that faces his bed. Laying down and watching Netflix takes priority.
He’s a sucker for themed keyboards/keycaps. If he finds a set themed around his favorite show or a character he likes, he’ll buy it. No self control.
The majority of his keyboards have that super clacky almost officey sounding click to them, and he’s obsessed with it. Sometimes he fucks around on Google Docs typing nonsense just to hear the keyboard make noise.
Puts in special keycaps on the ones with your initials on whichever keyboard he’s using at the moment <3 gamer boyfriend things <33
Always swears he wants to do some kind of special event or thank you for subscriber/follower milestones, but he never catches his own milestones 😭😭 by the time he realizes he has 100k subs, he’s already on 103k or something
Then he calls you, his friends, and his subscribers fake for not pointing it out to him like sir it’s right there on your screen please. All you had to do was LOOK
If he’s in the middle of a game and he really has a to pee, or he’s gotta go do something, he’ll yell for you, and you come in, obviously slightly worried, but then Eren is just hurriedly giving you instructions, “Here, press left or right to move, spacebar to fire, avoid these, kill those. That ugly look thing to the left is Jean, and over there is his character. You’re teammates, I’ll be right back,” before he puts his headphones on your head and runs off. Now you’re left to fend for yourself, good luck.
He can be gone anywhere from 30 seconds to 30 minutes 😭😭 if he’s gone for a short amount of time, he comes back with just as much chaotic energy to take back his headphones and shoo you away as he did to throw it all on you pls.
Other times, he’ll go and make a whole ass meal and come back sauntering in with a half eaten grilled cheese in hand, “Oh shit are you still playing, babe—hey you’re doing really well, look at you go!”
When you’re not there, he mentions you a lot, because he’s always thinking about you no matter how small it is; even just the design of a character would prompt him to a make a comment, “I don’t think my girlfriend has ever played this, but I know she’d main this character.”
Does he invite you to play a game he knows you’ve never played or are bad at with him on his stream, knowing full well he’s an ace at it and will crush you publicly? Absolutely. Without a doubt.
There’s always a very shameless, not at all subtle shoutout to his Instagram in the middle of all his streams please, he’ll be playing a game and randomly it’s like, “Fire pic on Instagam by the way, go like that.”
His comments are pretty respectful whenever you’re there or he mentions you; there’s a few cheeky randoms who like to make donations whenever you’re on the screen or say some inappropriate stuff, but Eren’s learned to just ignore it. It doesn’t make him happy, and he might tell people to chill if it’s excessive, but he won’t call out anything explicitly and make you uncomfortable while you’re there.
Sometimes Connie will make a comment about how you’re hot, and that’s definitely something Eren will call out and bring attention to, more so to mock Connie than anything.
At one point, his subscribers keep asking for more content with you (especially if you’re not there often/it’s been a while since people have seen a peek of you), to which Eren will pout because, “Hey, this is my Twitch-- now, look, you’ve gotten your Eren’s hot girlfriend privileges revoked for the week.”
Terrible at doing unboxing videos whenever he gets sent product because he just rips things open 😭😭 he’s too eager to do ASMR or gentle/detailed unboxing, he just wants to test out the new parts as soon as possible.
Abuses his spinny gamer chair. Spins himself dizzy on it (yes, while he’s streaming and waiting for lobbies/things to load), spins you dizzy on it when you’re just trying to be comfy, spins the both of you dizzy when he’s trapped you on his lap.
He’d be one of those lucky people who gets a cool single name user/ID. Like he gets just @eren or @jaeger/yeager, because his name is pretty unique, but I can totally see him going the typical fun gamer tag route.
His content is anything from him streaming Overwatch and COD to terraforming his Animal Crossing island, he does not discriminate. One day you could get Eren calling Jean a fucking dumbass for not healing him, and the next day he’s doing his best impressions of Timmy and Tommy.
Do not put it past him to build you a whole ass PC setup if you express the slightest interest in one, even if it’s not solely for gaming/you wanna use it for work/school. He’ll do it. He’ll make his hyperfixating work for him.
Plus then he’d get to give you one of his old keyboards and give you special keycaps with his initials and go on about how he’s officially got a gamer gf even if all you can do is press the spacebar <33
#anonymous#when is it my turn... when do i get one of him.... WHEN!!!! WHEN!!!!!!!#eren x reader#eren jaeger x reader#eren fluff#aot x reader
