Gear updates

The smell of raw flaxseed/linseed oil is very grassy, like hay, with the slightest undertone of fish. Picked up a bottle at the hippy grocery (affectionate) to refinish these wooden plates for a lightweight family feastgear setting, along with refinishing my carved spoons and a plate carved by my buddy Tostin

I've accumulated these well worn square plates from three different thrift stores, and it's taken me 4 days after work to repair the cracks and sand them down to 240 grit. Putting them in the sun on day 6 to jump start the polymerization process (and possibly giving some weathering to this martebo sack)

The flaxseed oil is embedded in my fingers, and im surprised my wife isn't giving me weird looks, because I've been sniffing them for two days, and she *loves* making jokes about "my other woman" any time I spend evenings in the barn

Oh and I've been drinking from this silly little thrifted glass goblet for two weeks and I love it. I feel so damned fancy.

Condition Guide

Surplus is real military gear and the exact conditions may vary. We grade used military surplus to give you options and offer a more clear description. Military gear was built well and used by soldiers proving its tested quality. We hope you find that it serves you well.  

Grade 1: Like New out of the factory case or may have only minor signs of use or storage marks.

Grade 2: What we call normal surplus. The gear is fully usable and shows normal signs of use but has a lot of life left. This grade may have one to two accessories item pouches missing meaning a radio, mag etc. All vest components are included. Some items may have small stains, writing, color fading.
