#my fics: the gilded lily fallacy

Coming up with a good ending is so hard! I have something like 85% of the fic planned, but just realized I need a solid ending and a way to get from where I leave Five (he's in a bit of a less than pleasant situation) to the HEA I want to write.

Why is writing so difficult?

So I did a thing. I made a graphic for a fic I'm going to be started in the relatively near future, called The Gilded Lily Fallacy. It's TUA of course, with Five/Dolores at the centre BUT it's a bit of an AU. I pick and choose what I want from Seasons 1 to 3, but I promise, it makes sense! My beta's told me it sounds good and I hope it'll turn out!

So I've officially started The Gilded Lily Fallacy, but I'm writing a particular...emotional scene. Or it's supposed to be at least.

Okay, exciting news! The playlist, as promised, is done.

I've made this pretty little graphic with the songs and artists on it, and I'm currently setting up the playlist on Spotify. I'll be putting a link to it here and on the fic once I have it up.

So if you wanna get an idea of the vibes for The Gilded Lily Fallacy, have a listen. Though bear in mind, the songs are exactly that. It's more the vibes of the scenes in the fic rather than songs specifically Five-esque or Dolores-esque. Five and Dolores are the main characters, so all of these songs have to do with them, but have no fear, all the other Hargreeves and a few other commonly known characters in TUA will be included.

People, I'm really excited about this fic.

This is the first time I've had a playlist going before I start writing with ideas already connected to the songs, which scenes they will inspire etc.

I'm so very excited about it.

Will I be able to start it immediately, like this week? Or this month? No. I'm ridiculously busy also because my parents are coming all the way across the ocean to visit me so I'll be gone for two weeks tops.

But the good thing is, the story is all set more or less and I've got the vibes and all that stuff. So it's only a matter of having time to write.
