yearn is def the angstiest thing I've written. I don’t like to write about Sansa suffering 😭

All have happy endings, but I guess my longer ones tend to be...sorta entrenched in what the characters have been through, so I'll say Jon Snow Wants to Marry Sansa because it is very silly/cracky the whole way through which makes it feel the happiest.

Oh yes. Angry people are always looking for ways to make others miserable too. You sorta get used to it. 😐

Not really. I'd like to do more, but when I try, I delete it because I can’t stop cringing 😂 I dabbled a little with it for Bastard tho 🔥

Truth be told I DO love the ideas I dreamt up for Hellfire; origin stories are just such a BEAST to write! 😩 It was my first fic coming back as a fanfic author and I didn’t totally realize what I was getting myself into 😅 And then There’s No Use came along and my brain completely hyperfixated on that one!

I do need to go back and edit what I put out for Hellfire thus far and try and hop back onto it. So much to write SO LITTLE TIME!

I am a sucker for romance. Anything from the early stages to the domestic. I love love ❤️

Writing enemies, villains, and good guy/bad guy interactions is SO much fun. I’ve always loved thinking of things from the “bad guy” side and exploring their thoughts and motivations. GuitarSpear has been the most AMAZING ship to explore that through, and Hazbin in general is a fantastic world for exploring that dynamic because it takes those traditional good and bad guy roles and totally swaps them 🔥

Also, bonus mention for people just putting up with each other. Writing characters who are annoyed or aggravated with each other is SUCH A BLAST. Best example being my Sera and Adam interactions 😂

I adore first time fics, reading AND writing. Having an experienced top guide and reassure the inexperienced bottom is just YES.

Some of his EN voicelines are kinda cringe to me. For me, they feel forced, for the lack of better term to describe them XD

If we talk about the canon events, it was back in the first summer event when he and the other guys where en route to GAA by riding on Dvalin. But then Razor decided to sky dive because he got some Tanjiro level of sniffing to even catch the smell of strange stuff below.

Me thinks he'd soon be able to fulfill his promise of protecting others, in a sense. Also being able to accustom himself to the human society more but not straying too far from his wolf family.

How the Weinlesefest event was handled feels more of a filler event. Perhaps a bias on my end because while it involves on finding out Razor's real parents, it didn't seem like it was done well story-wise and was mostly rushed.

With my current portrayal of him, I guess it's how to react at what could be too complicated to him. Like sure, he'd mostly complain about it. But there are times that he won't and... yeah, it's hard to imagine sometimes.

Alright, so the very first one that came to mind was Kono Kalakaua/Danny Williams from the 2010 reboot of Hawaii Five-0.

Now, I am definitely a very loyal McDanno (Steve McGarrett/Danny Williams) girlie through and through. I also really enjoy(ed) Kono's relationship with Adam!!

That being said...

Kono and Danny had some flirtations during the very first few season one episodes. They for sure would have been cute together and really would have made an excellent couple overall. 🥰

Speaking of Hawaii Five-0...

Steve McGarrett and Dean Winchester is also a fave.

They feel so right to me in a way that truly doesn't make a lot of sense, which is how I know that this is an excellent crackship.

Perhaps they are too similar to each other, but then again, that's what would be fun about watching and reading about them!!

Next on this list, I'm gonna say Troy/Kelsi from High School Musical.

They are only a crackship because of how iconic Troy/Gabriella are...if Troy/Gabriella weren't the main romantic couple of the trilogy (Chad and Ryan aside of course because they definitely count, even if they weren't canon-canon! 💓), then I fully believe that they would have had more potential.

Troy complimented her song writing/composition abilities in the first movie and then at the end of HSM 1, literally gave her the championship basketball because she was "the playmaker". 🥺🥲😩💞

Also, all of the most romantic songs that Kelsi wrote for Troy and Gabriella...there was always just a little something extra there that made me think that she was moreso thinking about Troy and herself when she was writing them. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It's hard to explain exactly what I mean because of course Kelsi was always super respectful to Gabriella and Troy and Gabriella's relationship in general.

But I just feel that there was so much potential for them!! They definitely could have worked out and lasted way past high school. 💗

But yeah, they are also a major crackship because Troy was always hella smitten with Gabriella, even when he maybe shouldn't have been. 👀

Moving on, I have to mention Olivia Pope/Mellie Grant from Scandal.

They have so much history and moments together that really solidified them into the Crackship Hall of Fame. Maybe they aren't as cracky as what some crackships are, but they would have probably raised more than a few eyebrows if they had ever been real.

And for the record, Fitz didn't deserve either of them!!!!! 😤

Onto Law and Order: SVU...

Olivia Benson/Nick Amaro is a hardcore crackship.

There's no way Liv would have ever hooked up with Nick for realisies, but it's still hella fun to imagine what that would look like (:

I am also counting Elliot Stabler/Alex Cabot as a crackship!!!

They have just as much energy and chemistry as what Benson/Stabler and Benson/Cabot do.

It's easy to forget about them because of these factors, but it's also what makes them so nice to consider from time to time. (:

Next, I'd be amiss of I didn't mention Megan Calvet-Draper/Joan (Holloway) Harris from Mad Men!!

This is a pairing that literally doesn't make sense at all for many reasons. I still like to think about them together anyway though because it's fun and crazy!!

Finally, last but not least, I must mention all of my NFL RPF ships. (Tom/Rob, Tom/Jules, Jules/Danny, Joe/Ja'Marr etc.)

These are all crackships because they of course focus on real, living people who, no matter how damn obvious they are, have never confirmed real relationships with any of the people I ship them with. 🥴🫣😶‍🌫️😔

drarry tag game

Thank you @calypsotempete and @vukovich for tagging me! How fun. Lol.

When did you get into Drarry and why? I was actually a Jily/Wolfstar shipper back in OG fandom days, and sometimes I would read Viktor/Hermione fic and drarry would be the side pairing. Anyhoo, got back into fandom in 2019 and went down the rabbit hole looking for some of my favorite older fics, somehow ended up in dramione-land and read practically every fic on AO3 for the pairing (I know this sounds crazy, and I wouldn’t believe it if it hadn’t happened to me 😂💀) and then was sad that I had read mostly everything. Dabbled a bit in Drarry fics, reading them at random while waiting for new WIP chapters, for a few months. Then I made a Tumblr. I saw art for Running on Air by @tinyhistory. I am a simple raccoon, I see pretty things, I click. I ended up reading the entire fic in one sitting. 

Which Drarry fic hooked you?  The Fallout by everythursday (Dramione) is the fic that dragged me back to fandom kicking and screaming. Running on Air is what brought me over to Drarry (and by god, is it beautiful!!), but the fic that truly hooked me was Tea and No Sympathy by who_la_hoop.  I think that same week after I finished it, after the requisite amount of time spent staring at a wall and feeling as if my entire life had changed, I sat down and read through all of bix/firethesound/loveglows/lqt fics. There was not a lot of sleep happening. Lol.

Top three favorite Drarry fics: this was so difficult 😂 my 400 bookmarks are yelling at me! 

1. Coming Home by @nerdherderette

M, 9.8k - TWs: MCD, Grief/Mourning, Mild Sexual Content

Three years after his world was shattered, Harry tries to pick up the pieces at the place he once called home. 

I literally can’t even count the amount of times I’ve read this fic - I know that in 2021 I read it 18 times. 💀💀 And I’ve begged countless people to read it. It’s so gorgeous; the prose is exactly what you expect, entirely captivating and encompassing, and Harry’s grief feels so real. Though we don’t get a happy ending here, there’s something about this fic that holds my entire heart. This story taught me a lot as a writer about how a story doesn’t need to be fairy tales  and rainbows at the end to have a striking and meaningful conclusion that feels right. 

2. genesis (you don’t know what it means to win) by crossourbridges

T, 73.5k - No TWs

Harry Potter didn’t help the Malfoy’s because he owed them; he did it because it was the right thing to do. He’s not sure why he keeps going back to visit, except that it seems to annoy Draco Malfoy and he loves annoying Draco Malfoy.

Ya’ll. This Harry. He is the ultimate characterization for me. Honestly, this type of fic is largely not my style - it’s kind of light-hearted and humorous, and there is no smut (😭). BUT. and this is a huge but. The writing is so dynamic, and the drarry banter is SPOT ON, and there’s even some lovely interaction with Narcissa, who I absolutely adore in this story. It’s SO GOOD. I find myself coming back to this fic as a comfort read (because who doesn’t read 74k words for comfort). I absolutely fall in love with the boys all over again every time. I tend to keep this fic open in my tabs, that’s how often I read it!

3. the space between (what you want and what you need) by  disapparater  

M, 13.6k - TWs: major character injury, disability, sexual dysfunction

As a specialist Healer in dark magic, Draco has had his fair share of difficult cases and awkward patients. Still, nothing has prepared him for a curse-paralysed Harry Potter.

Okay. I’m not going to lie. This isn’t an easy read. (In fact, you’ll find that most of the fics I enjoy aren’t). But this is a heartfelt look at acquired physical disabilities, and also features an ace! Draco. Be still, my beating heart! Literary weaknesses abound! As someone who grew up with a disabled parent, who saw the journey in real time and up close, this fic speaks to me on a different level. I love the depth of Harry’s character, and I love the fact that this author chose to write from Draco’s POV as a healer. Being that we’re in Draco’s POV, it’s also incredible to read this fic and get to experience what is, in my opinion, a more accurate portrayal of asexuality/ace spectrum characterisation. As someone who is demi, I’m constantly on the lookout for ace rep in fiction, and this is one of my absolute favorites for that reason. (You can see some of my other ace/demi faves here in my bookmark collection).

six-ish sentences

whew. it’s been awhile since i’ve had anything to share (life is cray for me rn, iykyk) but some lovelies tagged me and whelp. i have this unedited lil nugget that isn’t for anything in particular (except my love of pansy and stuffing too many adjectives in my scenes). ty @vukovich @drarrymybeloved @the-sinking-ship  @mintamintathings for the tags <3

They’re in Panama, this time; the rattling of street carts and faint chatter mix with the sound of twilight waking, its insects chirping as the moon slowly rises against a bruised blue-red sky. A curl of smoke drifts, hazy and swirling in the balmy air, thick and lethargic. It’s heavy, hanging stilted and slow-rising, making the grey smoke lazy in its escape. 

Ginny sighs, watching for a beat, before her feet are moving her across the room. Inch by inch, slender legs reveal themselves, and her eyes can’t help but follow that bare skin up, up, up, their path only impeded by the thin, white cotton robe wrapping itself around Parkinson’s body. She’s languid, in the way she only gets when she’s away, when she knows Ginny has come at her beck and call once again, lounging loose-limbed, a fag hanging delicately between her fingers over the edge of the chair. 

“Thought you’d quit.”

Parkinson’s face turns, eyes flashing open as she lifts the cigarette to her lips, taking a slow drag and exhaling it out the side of her mouth. 

“Thought you said you wouldn’t come.”

@nv-md, my darling. i present to you some shameless Ginny thirst art, and as a bonus, a wee pining Pansy POV. happy valentine’s day, and happy early bday, Ali! <3 i cherish you. all my love to @amorsindolor​ for the beta, hype, and endless wisdom. 💕 you can also read it on AO3! Pansy’s heels are rubbing, even encased in familiar worn leather as they are, her shirt sticky and starched from the sweat of the day. A little piece of her aches, small and sharp, watching as a faint smile crosses Ginevra’s lips, even in the thick of it all. The heat bears down on their backs as the sun burns across the skyline.

Wisps of hair escape Ginevra's braid —tickling her nose and sticking to the perspiration dotting her skin —a loop of rope held in her loose fist. It’s dusty today, much like it is everyday, a thin film of ochre infiltrating anything not locked down or closed up tight. The constant stomping of boots and hooves kicking up the earth is a regrettable exasperation, spinning tiny whirlwinds of grit to tuck into every crevice.

Pansy thinks that maybe she wasn’t quite built for this world, feeling shaky in her own skin, smothering it all up in sharp barbs and snarky quips, edging out anyone who might get close enough to find her out. But Ginevra, well. It’s like she’d been carved out of the mighty red rocks themselves, standing in strong relief against the backdrop. Taking her own place in the landscape, belonging to the earth and the sky and the stars. 

Ginevra laughs, looking at Pansy a split-second before she throws her rope through the air. 

It’s that feeling, those hidden looks and sly smiles, that tells her this much for certain: that she may be able to count her name among the rest of those great, big things that tether Ginevra to this world. 

And that Pansy wants to feel her own lasso pull taut.

2. I love Tenten and Sakura tbh, though as with all female characters ... the author kinda did them dirty 😔

3. Sasuke mostly gfdhsgfh Orochimaru too though

4. Ino and Hinata tbh 😩I wanna like them and I do! To an extent it's just I dunno something is missing for me, they are cool and have their moments but eh

5. AsuKure is one of my faves I dunno they are just lovely and maybe it shows a bit how old i have gotten gfhjsg also cant forget izumo and kotetsu, dont care if just as a bromance or romance those two are just mwah, love seeing them on my screen

6. I like it! Truthfully I'm not that much for romance so I never really thought much about this but those two work well together

7. I haven't watched Boruto properly yet only a few scenes haha

8. God it's been so long since I last watched a naruto movie, i can only remember the one where they have to go through a really cold region xD

9. Hinata is awesome! She is very dedicated and loyal, I just wish the show showed off more her growing self confidence besides the few scenes we got, that said those scene usually hit hard and are awesome so I don't mind too much, just love to see people grow properly you know

10. like I said I haven't seen Boruto yet but from what I saw and read she seems interesting! definitely wouldn't mind knowing more about her due to her background and how that formed her into the persons he is! It's intersting to see what possible consequences there are from the actions in Naruto Shippuuden, how it might form lives and not always for the better even if it was necessary

SUBSCORP, MY BELOVED 😩💛💙 I have some CageBlade coming in one of my MK WIPs and I also have some Harumi/Hanzo/Kuai WIPs that might see the light of day eventually 😅

UHHHHHH I don't know fam, maybe those awful gritty reboots of beloved classics on the CW 🤣 

7. What is a ship you will never write for?

Hmmm, probably LiuLao from MK. I have nothing against this ship, it just doesn't inspire me at all personally. I don't care a whole lot about Liu or Lao in general so they're more blorbo in laws than actual blorbos I would write for. 😅 (Sorry most of my MK discord friends 🤣🙈)

18. What is your favorite writing prompt?

Character A is Going Through it/is having a mental breakdown/is injured and Character B provides TLC. Bonus points if they kiss kiss fall in love. 

24. How many WIPs you got?

11! Mostly Subscorp, but also Includes an absolutely bizarre Metroid/TNG crossover featuring The Borg that I would like to actually write one day *Sweatdrop*

30. Writing software?

Mostly Google docs, sometimes One Note and Microsoft Word. Also I type almost everything on my phone like a gremlin :)

Dream job: personal organizing business for administrative focused tasks. Or a veterinarian-but that ship sailed already.

Why I Made This Blog: Initially it was a way that I shared naughty thoughts with a partner of mine. A means of communication in spite of my shyness. Then it began to grow into a means of expressing a bit of my exhibitions and share some kinks. And through that I have met a handful of incredible people who have truly lightened some dark days.

How I Came Up With My URL: Really actually horrible at coming up with names but this one was sparked from the chemistry I have with some partners of mine in which I’m the little kitten and they inhabit the role of the big bad wolf. But I realized that my nature actually can become very animalistic when my sadist comes out to play. So kittencalledwolf has a double entendre meaning.
