As a service worker who’s going to be working tomorrow I want to do this on purpose. Happy Halloween, Happy Valentine’s Day, Happy Thanksgiving etc. People don’t want you wishing them Happy Holidays? Now I’m wishing them every other holiday except Christmas.

Today we went to the store to pick up our tamales for Christmas Eve and the cashier said “Happy Halloween!” as we were leaving before shaking her head in surprise at what she just said and putting her head in her hands so yes I would say the grocery store employees looked a little stressed today
