New Expansion, new Miqo'te guy

Looking back before Dawntrail hits. Mainly from MSQ, jobs, tribal, deliveries and long quests that I done. Someone mention hair colours meme and this happened. There's a lot of sandy hair cats.

Might have left out other male cats by accident or not having pics of them on my PC (Will update if found decent pics). Or somehow fuzzy memory from doing stuff after EW. Would probably do one for the women and the Miq'ttens . I didn't include Squadron cats

It throughly amused me that Miqo'te men have such intense energy vibes (even Hylnyan's own mate) based on the way Miqo'te men moves. Since I gotten to used to how chill and calming Hylnyan is as a cat person.

A Realm Reborn

A'aba. His cat boy sit/delinquent squat and his sideburns somehow always reminds me of Logan / Wolverine.

V'mah Tia for some reason I always thought he was a Lancer.

Coeurl King isn't included because Hylnyan tend to be more busy kicking his ass than taking decent photos

Other than G'raha, Nhaza'a Jaab is a recurring character for tribal stuff. Hylnyan had chased him out of Stormblood and ARR at least. and probably HW when I resub hopefully before DT

Heavensward

I thought Heavensward had no Miqo'te men. Until they turn up in job quests post EW. Coerthas be too cold for Miqo'te? But there's a Miqo'te soldier in Haurchefant's office.

Stormblood

Specifically went and do M'zhet Tia's quest line because of his Nanaki / Red XIII references.

M'zhet Tia runs around in Tribal quest a lot for the sake of wooing J'olhmym. The other cute red cat

X'rhun tia's kid Arya is at Mor Dhona and Hylnyan be like if she needs help - seek out that Big Hrothgar with that Viera lady across the street there, mention Hylnyan's name if need be.

Shadowbringers

Because Exarch seems like he has much stories to tell of his life

Mao-Ladd. I always thought of the "Mao" part of his name is "cat" in mandarin. And Ladd as in Lad and his name is practically Cat Boy to me.

ARR: Foulques’ default hairstyle. Rethinks it once he meets a certain Ishgard knight.

HW: Having almost his hair burnt off after his first encounter with a dragon, the decision for a haircut came sooner than later. At least he won’t get confused for Haurchefant.

SB: Manages to grow back his hair though it’s longer than he use to have it. Has been kept busy from getting a haircut.

ShB: Actually grows to like his longer hair and keeps it while tying it back.

EW: Longer hair was nice while it lasted, but decides it was time to cut it off, finally managing time to do so with the help of Tataru.

No, but I'll try an make one right now! :D Subject to change, as I don't have all the story planned, but this is his "prototype" at the very least.

Name: Uriel Theodore Doe/Walker Name Meaning: Uriel is the archangel of repentance. The name itself means "God is my light." Theodore means "Gift of god." Nickname(s): Baby (By his father.) Ted/Teddy (Also by Logan.) Kid (Keegan) Jr Squared & Jr^2 [Pronounced "Jay Arr Two"] (Rorke)

Physical Appearance

Hair Color: Black/Very dark brown. Hair Style/Texture: Short cut, doesn't go past his ears, though when he gets older he likes letting it grow out before cutting it short again. Fairly curly, 3A. Eye Color: Light brown, almost amber. Skin Tone: Fenty Beauty foundation shade #420, because I got no clue how to describe it otherwise. (I swear the number is a coincidence.) Height: Poor Uriel is actually short, especially compared to the guys he's hanging around most his life. 5'6 at his max. (While everyone else hangs around 6'.) Gender/Sex: AMAB, he/him pronouns. (For now. Who knows.) Predominant Trait: He gets teased for having RBF. He looks very serious all the time. Body Type: He insists he's not short, just compact. Uriel

What motivates him: Uriel always wants to know more and goes about life seeking knowledge. A large part of why he's so curious. Eventually, this knowledge-seeking habit leads him to find interest in his and his father's past. The details of which have always been foggy to him. Personality: Intensely curious, smart, and self aware. Stubborn when it's something he wants. Very soft at heart, likely to cry when scared rather than get angry. (Mostly because he's a child.) Thing(s) he loves the most: Papa, garlic bread, his DS and games. Dreams/Goals: Wants to be a professor some day, uncertain what he wants to teach. Also interested in writing. Wants to have two beautiful dogs, any large breed. (Malinois, Great Dane, German shep, husky, etc.) Religion: Strays a bit into christianity/catholicism. Doesn't pray but believes there's a higher power. Likes the saints. (His Papa gives him a Saint Christopher necklace. Patron saint of travellers.) Also begins wearing a rosary that belonged to his mother. (Used to be kept in a small box of keepsakes in Logan's office, alongside a weird patch with a strange looking "skull" on it.)

Logan Walker (Adopted father.) no siblings or relatives he knows of. Gabriel Rorke (Weird/Mysterious uncle/grandfather that Papa does not like.) Enemies: That Kick guy who scared him as a kid. Butterflies. Papa whenever he does something Uriel does not like. (Taking his DS when he doesn't do his schoolwork, for example.) Ms. Correia for giving him too much schoolwork.

Other Stuff

Birthday/Age: October 28th 2025. Age at the crux of the story will be around his early teens. Something like 13-16. (Story takes place around 2040. Still working on it, so this is one of the things liable to change.) Languages: Fluent in Spanish+Portuguese, ASL, knows a little bit of Russian. Favorite curse word: Shit. Hobbies: Likes to play games on his DS. Habits: Rubs the side of his index when he's thinking hard. (With his other fingers or on a surface like himself, a table. Has calluses on the side for that reason.) Strengths: Very good at sneaking around. Smarter than your average kid. Fears: Losing/being seperated from Logan. Heights. Powerful storms. My main jobs for him currently are Dark Knight, Reaper and Bard. You are so right about how the FF community just keeps making these amazing, beautiful and interesting characters and hearing everyone's stories and backgrounds and personalities for their wols is so nice!

His story is under the cut because it's embarassingly long :')

His story basically starts with another WOL, who I've played since ARR to about level 83 of Endwalker, Mia. A miqote Bard, White Mage and Paladin. She truly was the epitome of a Warrior of Light, kind, caring, would give her all for anyone who needed her, even though she was absolutely riddled with doubts and fears, something which sadly festered over time, Shadowbringers truly was the moment where she broke, not only because of the incredible strain on her physical health, but also her mind (suddenly starting to get flashes from past lives and reliving old wounds, losing new old friends all over again, etc. you know how Shadowbringers is). That led to her growing weaker and weaker up to Endwalker, and shortly after Zenos takes control of the Wol's body, she canonically dies, killed by a blasphemy, while she was out in the field, kind of losing her mind with old memories and aching body from all the light she carried.

At the same time, Cain, who is originally from a different shard, is fed up with his miserable life in the forest with his brothers, who were always awful to him, and finally snaps and leaves, runs away, and as he runs, fast as he can, tears in his eyes, trying to escape his life that he didnt want to live anymore, Hydaelyn, sensing what is about to happen, opens a portal with the last of her strength and transports him to the Source. He runs out of a snowy forest just in time to see Mia being cut down. He runs over to see what is happening, and finds Azem's crystal in her hand, glowing.

Cain communicates with Mia and Ardbert in a little forest clearing inside his mind, where he meets her for the first time and allows her to pass into him. Thus, the two shards of Azem, Mia and Ardbert, are reunited with a third, who is, of course, none other than Cain.

Because they are all technically the same person, they are compatible. However, that is only in theory, because no matter how much people wish for that to be the case, Cain is a person of its own. He carries Mia and Ardbert's memories, feelings, but that is all.

My Azem's shards are based on animals, therefore, Mia was based on a fox, Ardbert is a wolf and Cain is a wild hare. Sometimes, Cain and other people that knew Mia can swear they see a little fox dart in the corner of their eyes, but when they look, there is nothing there.

Azem and all their shards share certain similiarities as well, like not fitting in where they were born and having to carve their own way trough life, amongst other things.

Both her and Ardbert still play a role in the story, interacting with people in their dreams (though that happens so, so rarely, I wanted their death to be actually meaningful, and not be like oh, they are still kicking!!! hahaha), and generally keeping an eye on the people they love as animal spirits. I wanted them to be a comforting presence, in a way.

Cain is immediately thrust into absolute shitstorm, because he had absolutely no time to adjust or get used to his new powers, memories and responsibilities, immediately has to fight Zodiark, which triggers the literal apocalypse, so he's one day on the job and the world is already ending!!! Im sure that's not going to be a major trauma or anything.

He struggles to find his place in Endwalker, and especially post Endwalker. He wanders, trying to find a reason to do this besides his childish dreams of wanting to be a hero, be important, be able to change something. To actually find a reason to continue fighting and understand his place in all of this.

It is in his wanderings, still wielding the bow, which was Mia's preffered weapon, that he learns how to wield a scythe and a greatsword. He learns how to derive strength from his and all the other shards' darkness that he carries, therefore becoming something of an opposite to Mia. Where Mia was the literal embodiment of a Warrior of Light, Cain becomes her mirror and basically acts as a Warrior of Darkness.

That is the main gist of it all. I dont know if this isn't the most cringe thing you have ever read :') I try with all of my characters and stories to make it magical and kind of whimsical in a way, I like to play with the lore and rules given by the world and working with it in a way that still sounds believable, despite obviously having to squint a little.

Thank you so, so much for reading all this mumbo jumbo, I had an exhausting few days and I truly wanted to sit with this and write it with actual class, but I think that would never get done at this rate, so I just wanted to hurl it out of my head and hope it is at least slightly comprehensible hahaha.

What!! How long have you been into ARR? whose best boi for now?

Since the beginning of the pandemic which is when I got into all of these games actually lmao it’s been at least 7 months since I downloaded the app. It’s been kinda slow going but I always do the events even if I haven’t read too much of the main story. I got past the first set with Dawn and now I’m on Twilight’s story to see what that’s all about. Apparently, it’s incredibly dramatic. 

Aoi started off as my best boy bc I love tsunderes but I think Toichiro and Koga are my absolute faves. I’m waiting to read Toichiro’s romance stuff to see if he’s earned a permanent spot in my heart

Things I never, ever want to forget from the past 24 hours

- The first moment we got in our seats when it finally, finally registered that I was about to see Harry perform again (and see him SO well @adutton93 you are an absolute angel).

- Golden was honestly a blur because I was just HEARING him and SEEING him and trying to breathe.

- It’s hard to overstate how much fun Watermelon Sugar is live (me, overstate or exaggerate? Never!)

- When he started Adore You in the lower register I just lost it. General observation, I never thought his voice was anything less than amazing but the vocals in this era just bowl me over.

- Listening to Lights Up in the context of the larger album has def changed how I hear it and think about it. He’s so beautiful.

- I cannot BELIEVE how quiet the arena was during Cherry (and to a lesser extent Falling). I never thought I’d get to experience that at a Harry show.   ((minus the two awful girls in front of us who talked through the WHOLE show just STAY HOME)) 

- I mentioned this in my tags but listening to him sing Falling like that just split my heart in two. I don’t think our boy is quite over the feelings that inspired these songs. (But he IS happy!!)

-  @justharried and I had discussed that it might be uncomfortable to watch him perform To Be So Lonely live given the sarcasm/bitterness he injects into the song but I really, really enjoyed it live. And yes, put my whole chest into ARR-O-GANT-SON-OF-A-BITCH

- Thank you mushrooms and Mitch for SHE. What a fucking jam. 

-  I loooooved the stage for Sunflower Vol 6 and god it’s such a perky fucking song. Steadily climbing up my personal charts.

- (Canyon Moon is a sweet song and the shoutout to Jenny was v cute too)

- I’ve never been happier to be wrong about something than I was about TPWK. It’s SO FUN LIVE and it’s been stuck in my head ever since.

- Fine Line...my baby. HIS baby. What a special song. Much like the first time I heard SOTT live, I just stood still as a statue and took it all in. No wonder he named the album after it. I want to hear him sing it again and again and again.

- Last night’s may have been one of my favorite in-person SOTT performances to date. 

- When he was building up to introduce Stevie people around us started freaking out so I looked down and saw her waiting in the wings. Beat on poor M’s back and just had immediate chills. Yes, Harry, it IS pretty cool.

- Harry will always be WMYB’s No 1 stan and I will always be tied for No 2 (with the rest of you).

- Wonderful Christmastime. Glitter. Harry laughing. A Christmas song. Will remember forever. (Also I don’t know if it was intentional but the Azoff box/VIP section got DUMPED on with glitter.)

- He brought back the Black Dress Caress™️ and all is right in my world.

And then last but CERTAINLY not least:

- I’ll never forget my 24 hours with @styloff and @justharried and @ihopeyoucontinue4ever. I have SO MUCH FUN with you always.

Ultimate Custom Night: Voice’s

(I’ve decided to make a post of all the lines from the game [not including phone guy’s] and give my analysis/opinion on them)

This is the video I used as a ref

Foxy: “Yar I came for ye booty. That be treasure you know.” “Yar. You never stood a chance.” “I can’t run like I used to. But I can pull my self apart just fine.” (Could refer to how he’d run at you in the first game) “Arr. So much more spacious in here. I may stay a while.” “Yar har har. Never underestimate the cunning of a pirate. Or a fox for that matter.” He sounds exactly how I thought he would.

Nightmare Fredbear:  “Let’s see how many time’s you can be pulled apart.” (pulling things/being pulled apart seems to be a reoccurring theme) “I assure you I am very real” “This time there is more than an illusion to fear.” (Both lines could be about how in FNAF 4 none of the animatronics are real) “We know who are friends are. But you are not one of them.” “Let me put you back together. And  then take you apart all over again.” I like how his voice is gruff and distorted (actually I like how all the fnaf 4 animatronics have distorted voices). It also sounds layered to me. Or there could be a second voice underneath.

Happy Frog: “Everyone underestimates me. But then they turn their back and I’m like boo! And their like wagh!” “Move over Freddy Fazbear! Happy Frog is the new star of the show.” “We’ve only just begun. I will never let you leave. I will never let you rest.” (Said in a whispered tone. Sounds more sinister than her usual voice) “I bet you weren’t expecting me were ya? Turn your back for one second and I’m like wozoo! Ninja skills.” “You and I don’t get to talk as often as I’d like.” Very cute voice acting. I like how they throw in one creepy line. That should throw a few people off.

Jack-O-Chika: (voice is distorted) “I am a burning reminder of your misdeeds.”) “Greetings from the fire and the one you should not have killed.” (Player character killed someone. Who? My theory at the moment is they’re the purple guy (or maybe one of them) and they’re in hell. But we’ll see if that sticks) “Did things get really hot in here? Or is it just me?” “Come and burn with me. The fire burns eternal. And now you shall as well!” (Further supports my hell theory) A lot of their lines contain hints towards the lore. But due to the distortion they can be hard to hear. Typical of fnaf lore (in plain sight but hard to decipher). My fave voice from the fnaf4 animatronics.

Lefty: (whispers everything) “Shhh...Come spend eternity inside. With me.” (Inside where?) “Shhh...I’ve been looking for you. And now I’ll never let you go.” “Shhh...I’m so glad that I found you. Let me make room for you.” “Shhh...It will all be over soon.” “Shhh...There is room for one more.” (One more in the suit?) His voice is actually one of the creepiest to me. Especially as it sounds like a little boy.

Mangle: “I wanted to wait till just the right moment to drop in.” “It’s so much more fun hanging out in here with you.” “He’s here. And always watching. The one you shouldn’t have killed.” (”The one you shouldn’t have killed” is mentioned a lot) “Don’t be afraid. Soon you will look just like me. Beautiful.” “Now I get to play take apart and put back together. You won’t feel a thing.” The fact they have a male and female voice actor makes me really happy.

Marionette: “The others are under my protection.” “Seeing you powerless is like music to me.” “The others are like animals. But I am very aware.” (Did the other children/victims loose their humanity? Why not this one?) “I don’t hate you. But you need to stay out of my way.” “I recognise you. But I’m not afraid of you. Not anymore.” (Further evidence player character was/is a killer) The childish voice makes an already creepy character creepier. Are they the one “You should not have killed?” (Though their voice sounds like a little girl and Mangled clearly say “He’s here”.)

Ballora: “I could hear you breathing.” “Admit it. You wanted to let me in.” “These are strange circumstances. That have brought us together.” “Don’t be shy. Why do you hide inside these walls?” Her lines are very flirty. Which seems strange.

Toy Chica: “Where’s my beak? Lodged in your forehead of course.” “*Giggles* You won’t get tired of dying will you? You won’t get tired of my voice? Will you?” (further evidence towards the hell theory) “Let’s go somewhere more private. So I can eat you.” Interesting but very fitting voice acting.  Nightmare Bonnie: “You will not be spared. You will not be saved.” “The shadows (indistinct) me. And (indistinct) you back to horror(?) “Your/You’re wickedness made of flesh.” “I’m here to claim what is left of you.” Creepy voice but I can barely understand anything he says

The Music Man: “Hear that. It’s the sweet sweet sound of your eternal silence.” “Hey keep it down would ya?” “When I’m here you play by My rules.” “A song was requested of me. And now I sing it.” “You and I will be making music together for a long long time.” A weird voice for a weird looking character.

Nedbear: “Stranger danger! *laughs* I was just waiting for you to drop your guard.” “Woops. That’s gonna leave a mark.” “This is how it feels. You get to experience it over and over and over again. Forever. I will never let you leave.” (A little girls voice can be heard just out of sync) “Don’t you hate getting killed by obscure secondary characters?” The hillbilly accent is fun. The little girls voice implies even these characters have dark secrets.

Nightmare Freddy (voice is distorted): “No light can save you now.” “I have always been hiding in your shadow.” “What a gift to relish a victim that can’t perish.” (Hell theory) “I am given flesh to be your tormentor.” “I am remade. But not by you. By the one you should not have killed.” Very creepy. Probably one of the easiest Nightmare to understand but still creepy.

Nightmare BB: “There just isn’t room in here for both of us.” “You knew I’d get you eventually.” “Come closer. Help me count my teeth.” “Flash that light all night/all you like. It can’t save you now.” “You’re not so big. Just a bite size morsel.”

Nightmarionette: (voice is distorted) “The nightmare is just beginning.” “Let’s taste (?) death again, and again and again.” “I am the fear of your reflection and the one you have created.” (The one you have created could be the Marionette) “This is a nightmare you won’t wake from.” (Hell theory?) “This time death can not save you.” (Hell theory) Voice is very hard to understand but very creepy.

Nightmare Mangle: Voice is covered by a lot of static and radio interference. I could hear something that sounded like “Come here come here” though it’s not clear.

William Afton:  “I always come back.”  Has a more human sounding voice despite being in a state of disrepair (like the nightmares and withered animatronics) which makes sense. The fact he and Springtrap are different animatronics throws a wrench in a few theories I’ve heard.

Orville Elephant: “I hope you enjoyed the grand finale.” “Now is my time to shine.” “He tried to release you. He tried to release us. But I’m not gonna let that happen. I will hold you here. I will keep you here. No matter how many times they burn us.” (a little girls voice can be heard just after his. Who are they?) “What did you think of my act? I don’t get out much. So you’ll have to forgive my enthusiasm. I love how he sounds like a sweet old man.

Pigpen: “Even monkey’s fall from trees.” “The nail that sticks out gets hammered down.” “The talented hog hides his claws.” “I consider it a dignified death. Not really it was actually quite pathetic.” “If you sit by the river long enough you’ll see the body of your enemy floating by.” The hillbilly voice really suits him, and the banjo makes me laugh.

Rockstar Bonnie: (Electronic voice, sings) “What a fine day to come here and say Your face and flesh I must flay” “What a treat, to come here and meet (?), your face as it hits concrete (?) “I found my guitar. now reach for the stars, As I bludgeon and pull you apart.” “Why so blue? You know I’ll be true. And now I’ll make slippers (?) out of you.” “So good to see you again. My truest friend. But now your life must end.” (Calls the player character his “truest friend”. Does he mean it? Why does he want to kill PC? Did PC kill him (if he’s one of the possessed animatronics)  Interesting how he’s the only one who sings.

Rockstar Chika: “That’ll teach ya for trying to trick this old bird.” “Thought you could fool me with that sign. But I was too smart for ya.” “I may not like wet floors but the smell of fresh meet is just too enticing.” “Looks like you’re the one who slipped up this time.” “That’s right. And don’t you come back now you hear.” Her voice makes me think of a female rockstar from the 70s or 80s.

Scrapbaby: “Time for your controlled shock.” (said two different ways) “Let’s see how many pieces I can cut you into.” “You won’t die. But you’ll wish you could.” (hell theory) Sounds just like Baby’s voice. (personally I’d have made it a little different but it’s fine as it is) Toy Freddie:  “It’s not my fault. I have these fat plastic fingers that can’t press the buttons.” “Mr hugs got me again.” “If I get jumpscared. You get jumpscared.” “That game was totally rigged.” “That’s what you get for leaving me hanging.” Voice could get annoying after a while.

Trash and the gang: (female voice, whispers) “Psst over here. Get closer.” “Excuse me could you come a little closer?” “Hey. Down here. Hello. I wanted to ask you something. Its something really important.” “Psst. I have something to tell you.” “Hey hey. I want to tell you something.” The voice seems to only be there to trick the player into listening more closely before they are jumpscared.

Rockstar Freddie: “Please deposit five coins.” (Said repeatedly during gameplay when active. After jumpscaring the player is said once and grinds to a stop)

Rockstar Foxy “Yar. Ye play with fire and sometime’s ye get burned.” Voice is very similar to Foxy’s but the slight difference is fitting.

Withered Bonnie: (voice has an electronic echo) “Time to face the consequences of your behaviour (?)” “Might as well face the facts. You were always destined to fail.” “You blinked.” “Why (indistinct)? Is it me (indistinct)? Or is it you? Perhaps it is us both.” “I’ve made (indistinct) fate. But (indistinct) taught (?)” Could someone please tell me what he’s saying?

Withered Chika: (Indistinct) through the vent. But now we are together.” “Let me show you how to break your face and look like me.” “I was the first. I have seen everything.” (The first what? Animatronic? Victim?) “Come closer. Let’s smile(?) together.” “I have seen him. The one you shouldn’t have killed.” The juttering voice is creepy though not the creepiest.

Baby: “I guess you forgot about me.” “Want to see the scooping room?” (Player character could be the main character from SL or Baby’s creator. Or both?) “Guess you forgot about me. Looks like something bad happened.”

Robot(?): “Now I will tell you a story.” “But he could not choose.” “He placed the remains together.” “He promised to never leave them.” Sounds like the War of the Worlds CD my mum has. Who’s story is it telling? The player characters? The Marionettes? 

Mr Hippo: NOPE. NO. Not doing it. I’m not typing all his lines. I’d like to do other things today thank you very much. (His line “maybe I met some sort of demise of my own” is interesting though) Sounds like an old man.

idk how old you are (or the age of anyone possibly reading this) so i feel i should say Osomatsu-san has a lot of mature themes and is CLEARLY meant for a more mature audience of the adult/college age/MAYBE later teen variety

all the main and most important side characters in the show are at least in their 20′s.

1. Sub or Dub?

as of right now there is no dub Viz Media, who most recently did the redub of sailor moon (AND ITS FANTASTIC BTW SO IT GIVES ME HIGH HOPES FOR MATSUS), had sent out a tweet saying that the dub was going to be released some time in October of this year but …nothing happened?? my buddy @arr-jim-lad even contacted them about it, and they responded that there were no updates to mention. ://///SO right now sub is all we got haha

ITS REALLY GOOD THO SO ITS NOT LIKE A NEGATIVE OR ANYTHING BC THESE VOICE ACTORS ARE AMAZINGdef my fave voice actors of any sub ive watched (and ive watched quite a few)

2. How do I know who’s who? I already know some of the easy ones, thanks to you.

one of my fave aspects of this show is that after a few eps, despite them all having the same face, it becomes VERY EASY to tell them apart haha this is part of why the character writing is so strong imo!

but here’s a few tips and tricks to look for just in case you cant tell right away!

the easiest thing to get the hang of first when it comes to noticing the matsus is def their designated colors! Even when theyre not in their trademark hoodies they can usually be seen wearing their colors somewhere on themselves so if you cant tell who’s who right away LOOK FOR THE COLORS!!

if theyre all wearing matching outfits you can look at their hair shinies bc they’ll usually be their color when nothing else is! (tho those are a bit more subtle in coloring bc ..well..shinies haha)

he’s the designated “cute” boy, and the worst/best self-centered millennial stereotype. actually a total mean girl in disguise, and (according to his bros) a “vile monster”. i love him and he’s a cute demon. not the worst bro but pretty darn close.

💛Jyushimatsu (YELLOW SUNSHINE LIGHT OF MY LIFE)💛

the hyper-active, forever smiling, incredibly powerful, baseball boy! if something weird and crazy is going on jyushimatsu is either directly involved or about to be. he’s always laughing, smiling and making weird jokes/noises. a very sweet boy who is entirely too powerful. He often dresses as animals, and is used as an “attack dog” to torture whichever brother he’s commanded to (usually oso). A very unpredictable boy to say the least. Its hard to imagine an ooc version of him bc there isnt much he would not do or say.HE IS MY FAVE BEST SUNSHINE BOY

neutral expression: 8Dvoice: lowest pitch of the bros but also the loudest, often making weird/nonsensical sounds/noises such as: BBBBOEHBA!! 8Dquirks: - often goes cross eyed - is incredibly strong, can lift and throw his adult brothers like nbd - never has eye shinies in the anime unless he’s about to cry - wears shorts when everyone else is wearing pants, also some times wears a traffic cone on his head- wiggly arms and sleeves too long (even when its not the hoodie, usually his sleeves are always too long haha)- only one hair sticking out on the top of his head

💜Ichimatsu (purple cat man)💜

the designated darkmatsu, ichi is the slow moving, constantly slouching, quietest boy who thinks cats are way better than people. the least motivated matsu, even going out to do fun things (like drinking or gambling) is some times too much trouble. for him a good time is laying on the floor and thinking about death (and also cats). a fan of torture, if the situation calls for causing trauma he’s suddenly very talkative and plays w his voice a lot. he is the second brother (after my boy jyushi) that is often called upon when one of the other brothers (or anyone) needs to be tortured. i love this boy and he is good to my fave boy god bless suujimatsu

neutral expression: B(voice: usually very low, slow and monotone quirks: - eyes always half lidded, no shinies - always slouched- messy hair (some times w cat ears)- only bro to wear track pants (w the line on the side)- has a diff cat in his lap almost every ep, but does not actually own one- two hairs sticking out on the top of his head

💚Choromatsu (green frog weeb man)💚

the resident brother mom and a total idol otaku, choromatsu isnt concerned w much else besides his idol obsession and proving he’s way more responsible than his brothers. he often walks todomatsu to the bathroom at night and waits for him to finish since youngest bro is scared of the dark (reminder theyre both grown men in their 20′s). he thinks he’s better suited to be the oldest brother and leader rather than osomatsu and even points it out once, with agreements from both todomatsu and ichimatsu.if anything crazy happens choro is the first to scream about it not being ok. he’s got the strongest will of all the brothers and can never be persuaded to change his mind about a situation. he’s not a fighter at all and usually chooses to stay on the sidelines even if he agrees w whatever the bros are fighting about (killing god for instance).he’s under constant stress bc he’s pretending to do his best while his brothers are terrible i love him give this poor green man a vacation

neutral expression: :voice: higher pitched, not as high as todo but still higher among the bros, and usually using it to yell @ brosquirks: - smallest pupils, no shinies (in the anime)- usually has a worried expression- wears plaid a lot- is irritated almost all the time - wont look for a job bc he’s determined to be an idol manager- no hairs sticking out on top of his head

karamatsu is EASILY the most recognizable matsu. w those amazing eyebrows, constant use and abuse of anime eyes, wild variety of glittery, revealing, and leather clothing its no wonder he’s called painful oh my god i love this man DID I MENTION HE SPEAKS RANDOM ENGLISH FOR NO REASON AND ITS GREATalso he’s probably the most caring brother who genuinely wants his brothers to be happy and know theyre loved very much by him ;;

THERE HE IS!!!! THE TRASH KING BROTHER!!!!i kid, i kid sort ofimplying that the matsus are not all trash boys is just a joke tbqhfor me osomatsu was absolutely the hardest bro to recognize when i first watched the show, and i think the biggest tip i can give for him is just to look for the red boy scratching under his nose. also the boy who looks like he would buy and sell you. he’s a pretty brilliant con man and a good fighter too, but his laziness outweighs anything that he could possibly achieve in. he’s absolute trash but in a way still lovable?? OH ACTUALLY if youre familiar w the anime Lupin the Third just look for the brother that makes the most Lupin-esque faces he’s got that classic-anime-comedy-male-lead look more than any of the other bros so that might help you recognize him!

10. One, Two Step- Ciara, Missy Elliot- Goodies (”This beat is automatic, super sonic, hypnotic, funky fresh!” This was my jam back then, and it’s my jam now! I wanna sing and dance like it ain’t nothin! Now, I don’t dance much, at all even, but I can’t lie: I do’ with this song. And honestly, how can I not? This song is all about dancing and such. It does an excellent job at it, too!)

9. Empire City (Day)- Fumie Kumatani-  Planetary Pieces: Sonic World Adventure  (Can we get more songs with the harmonica as a leading instrument, please? Seriously, both this and the night version gives so much redeeming points for the jazzy harmonica. I also dig that funky beat, that wah-guitar (I’m no guitar person, I just know the amp. effect is nicknamed wah-wah :D), and them trumpets make me move all throughout this one! Such a great tune, this is!)

8. Elder Kettle (Piano Arr.)- Kristofer Maddigan- Cuphead (Out of all the fighting, dying, and struggling to beat this game, Elder Kettle’s theme is the eye of the storm. In other words, his theme holds no sneaky or dangerous undertone in it, but rather a careful one; it’s a stark contrast from the chaos that’s happening outside. It’s all slow, gentle, and safe, very safe! And really? I like how Maddigan set this up. "Now, kids, what did we learn today?” “Don’t make a deal with the devil?” “Good job, now go and get ready for dinner!”)

7. Refugee Camp- Manami Kiyota- Xenoblade Chronicles (It’s so relaxing and soft, almost mesmerizing. It very well puts me at focus on drawing, writing, or whatever kind of work I’m doing. I’m honestly really glad there’s a 30 minute loop of this, because boy, it has a long-lasting magic to it’s melody that captivates me instantly and I swear it has something to do with the rhythmic structure! Goodness, it’s very peaceful! <3)

6. Waterfall- TLC- Crazysexycool (This song was loved by many, myself included, and is still close to some to this day. This song is more than just my favorite as it has a really good theme going on- something that I have to remind myself especially during these times. I mean, if you REALLY listen to the lyrics, you could get a lecture out of it! If you haven’t heard of this song, then I’d highly recommend this song! Even if you’re not into Hip-Hop, it’s actually a fine n’ dandy piece)

5. Frontier Village (Day)- Manami Kiyota- Xenoblade Chronicles (I LOOOOVE how cheerful and overall happy this song is! It’s honestly one of my faves to listen to when I’m not in a good mood or need to relax, second being the night version. Everything about this song is so magical: the guitar, the accordion, the strings in the background. Those strings in the background,  just take a good listen to them! Seriously, this entire song soothes the soul, and adds to the already- gorgeous scenery of the village itself! Urgh, I can just listen to this forever.)

4. This Is How It Should Be Done- TLC- Oooooooh... On the TLC Tip (When I was listening to this album couple weeks ago, I was really into this song; the lyrics are simply telling Lisa “Left Eye” making an idea into a song, and the process of what went on during the development. The first section starts with the struggle, trying tho think of a song, then trying to write the idea, let alone, find the motivation! That part is quite a familiar process to me, where thinking the idea is one thing, but making it solid is another process in itself. But, by just finding the groove, you start to work on it, and you get somewhere with it! Second, I appreciate how this story is a rap rather than a song! The melody and chorus are used merely as supporters to the main ingredient that is the free styling. It gives it the charm of something being simple, yet having a wondrous taste! This song also makes me sad, because... ugh, rip. TLC, I miss you so much ;o;)

3. Beyond the Sky- Yasunori Mitsuda/Sarah Àlainn - Xenoblade Chronicles (This song made me cry first time through, and it makes me teary eyed a little bit now, just a lil’. Like, man, those lyrics: true to heart, true to love, true to... finding your beloved and never letting go of one another once you’ve finally found each other... (I need a moment, guys ;-;) ). Damn it if you don’t catch me singing this song, or clutching my heart at a specific line; this song is just-UGH! My goodness, do I love it! For such a long game, reaching the end and listening to this is truly a gift to treasure! I want to get the game so I can experience that feeling for myself >~<) )

2. Rito Village (Day)- Manaka Kataoka- Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (The moment I heard this, my heart melted in nostalgia, and my eyes cried in joy; I literally stopped what I was doing, just sat there, and listened! They could’ve went with something completely new and original to this game like they did with the other towns, but nope! Nintendo decided to give us a familiar piece that is this lovely remix! The fact that there’s three versions of this (regular, birds’ chirp, and my favorite, the accordion, provided by the lovely Kass) makes this song all the more stellar. You know what you’re doing with your music, Nintendo. And, honestly, never stop doing it!)

1. Super Nova (vs. Star Dream, Heart of Nova)- Hirokazu Ando- Kirby: Planet Robobot (These songs right here are just GODLY! This game does my love for Kirby TOO good! The genius that is Ando, fusing old and new Kirby via le motifs, that call-and-response sections in the first half, is what really gets me hooked! Then, you have Heart of Nova! You can get a sense of just how intense this true final battle is with those strong, metallic clangs and the intricate, vigorous lines with the strings! I don’t want to say much about this due to major spoilers, just know if you played/seen up this part of the game, then you understand me when I say “this shit is intense”! If you haven’t yet, then man oh man, are you in for a treat, my good friend!)
