remus knows her discography by heart. he was originally a little insecure to sing the whole time, but he can’t help but sing along when you look so cute dancing and screaming the words to each song. he probably would’ve been the one to buy tickets after you came to terms with your chances of getting them being so slim, so when he surprised you with them you were over the moon. he would’ve gotten you two lower bowl seats so you would be really close but also able to see every single visual. he also would’ve offered to stand and wait in the merch line during the openers and before the concert started so you could have fun and watch them and have a cute t-shirt to take home.

james “swiftie” potter would be going absolutely feral. he would’ve gotten floor seats that were at least in the first ten rows so he could feel everything. he would’ve made a huge ordeal about surprising you with the tickets. i just know he would take you out to a fancy brunch before you guys got ready for the concert. he would probably want you two to go as miss americana and the heartbreak prince and people would definitely use your pictures as inspo for their shows. i also think he’d be the type to propose during lover or love story if you were at that point in the relationship. he would’ve been all cute about it too and told everyone around you so they could film and take pictures for you guys during the moment. he would also make a show of carrying you back to your car after the concert, even if your feet didn’t hurt that bad from the extremely uncomfortable shoes you inevitably would wear.

oh, sirius. i feel like he’s a total music snob and was really only going originally because you were so excited about it. but then he gets to the concert and he’s awestruck. he would’ve gone insane during the beat drop in don’t blame me but also prob would’ve teared up during my tears ricochet. he would’ve loved every moment of it and would immediately regret not learning all her songs before the concert. i think he’d be so obsessed that the minute he got home he would’ve gone online and bought you two more tickets for either the second night in your city or the next closest show. he’d also probably make you explain all the lore and stories behind everything on the way home. you just know that next time, he will be so prepared he will outshine every other swiftie boyfriend in the crowd. he’s also a rep girly.

lily is a swiftie through and through. there’s not doubt in my mind that she’s not an evermore and lover girly. she would’ve fought hard for those tickets and she would be so proud when she surprised you with them. you and her would spend so much time picking out the perfect themed outfits for the night and would definitely end up in a few of those “my fav outfits i saw at the era’s tour!” videos. she definitely has a note in her notes app where she keeps track of all the surprise songs and which ones she wants (she was heartbroken after dbatc and clean were taken in the same night, but she also knows that there’s not a single song that she’d be disappointed in getting). it honestly doesn’t matter where your seats are because no matter what you two will be having so much fun it won’t even matter in the end.

regulus, unlike sirius, actually prepared for the concert. he was definitely doing his research before hand. he was never a big taylor swift fan before, but when he saw your eyes light up when you told him you got tickets, he knew he had to be ready. he spent months listening to each album one by one, making playlists, attempting to learn words, and maybe even looking into the meaning behind the songs. he may get a little too caught up in connecting each song to one of her relationships and prob would wear and “i <3 T. S.” shirt to the concert. like james, he would’ve offered to carry you out of the arena, but unlike james, he would’ve listened to you saying no and would’ve been content simply holding your shoes in one hand and your hand in the other.

1. Which three fics occupy your top posts? Tell me a bit about the inspiration behind them!

I’m going to assume this means my most popular posts, so I’m going to go by hits

#3 - It Had To Be You: this is the first fic I ever posted so I’m not surprised it has some of the highest ratings on my profile. Sakuatsu was HUGE back when I wrote this and I think people were ready to consume any media about them at the time because this is not my finest work lol. The inspiration came from watching When Harry Met Sally (my fav romcom of all time, I rewatch it like 10 times a year) and I realized that the personalities of the main pairing fell in line well with sakuatsu.

#2 - you’ll always know me: my baby. My piece de resistance. I’m not surprised it didn’t blow up the way aibtntfi has as hq has a shit ton of extremely good fics so you’re never really lacking for good content, but I’m very pleased this is my second most read! The basic inspiration for this was that I was listening to Taylor Swift’s evermore album (tis the damn season/dorothea in particular) and those two songs reminded me a lot of iwaoi in the time skip. A childhood friends to enemies to friends to lovers was perfectly in the cards for it and I think I planned out the entire fic in like three days.

#1 - and i’ve been tryin’ not to feel it: no one is shocked except for me lol. I never expected for this fic to do as well as it has but now this fic is basically the reason I have a following at all! The inspiration behind this was seeing a lot of jjk tiktokers doing ooc skits and it made me so irritated that I had to write a Megumi and itafushi that I felt was in character for a modern au. It was originally supposed to be a short oneshot but here we are 12 chapters later lol

12. Pick three fics that feature the same trope. What do you like the most about writing that trope and/or how did you do that trope differently in each story?

Friends 👏🏻 to 👏🏻 lovers 👏🏻 slow 👏🏻 burn 👏🏻 Slow burns are my favorite romance trope. I’m aspec so it’s RARE that I’m ever convinced by an insta-love story and I think slow burns where the couple truly gets to know and understand each other are the most romantic sort. Honestly, the only fics of mine that really feature this and can be considered a slow burn are my only three multi-chapter fics lol

• you’ll always know me: This one was the most fun to write, hands down. The angst, the yearning, the passion, this fic had everything that I love I truly wrote it for myself. I think it has the most believable romance out of all of my fics and my use of memories/flashbacks at the beginning or end of each chapter really made the story and relationship feel so much deeper. I can’t rave enough about how much I love it.

• and i’ve been tryin’ not to feel it: This fic is a slow burn in the sense that they like each other the entire time but are both idiots. I did include instant attraction in this one, but it’s not insta-love. Megumi is immediately intrigued and attracted to Yuuji but he refuses to let himself get drawn in by him (he folds almost immediately). Their relationship has been very fun to write and seeing them grow together and slowly understand themselves and each other has been wonderful to write out.

• It Had To Be You: this one isn’t unique at all in the sense that I didn’t realize I didn’t have to copy When Harry Met Sally plot point by plot point. I waited way too late to start changing things up and adding my own personal flair to the storyline, but it’s still a fun time. This fic has the most standard annoyances to friends to lovers plot but I still think it’s quite believable.

i LOVE this album sm like words can not describe. It's been the only thing I've listened to since it came out its sooo good. (sorry evermore you've finally been toppled)

As for my fav song I have a few but my top three are guilty as sin?, the black dog, and the smallest man who ever lived! (I've also been loving loml) though tbh in my mind it's a skip less album :)

now that it's been a couple of weeks, i'm still pretty set on the opinion that this is the weakest album when it comes to cohesion and i think it reallllyyyy suffered for me on release day with thirty-one songs to pour through lol. it was too much for my brain ahah. but now that there's been some time and i've been able to digest it, i much prefer the anthology to the original! like holy shit it's no contest. the second half feels like the poetry we were marketed and while i love synthy pop as much as the next girlie, taylor really shines in the folklore/evermore sound. that will always be my fav of hers i think. og ttpd is a 6/10 for me and anthology is a 9/10

guilty as sin is definitely my fav for sureee but i also really like so long london and chloe or sam or sophia or marcus!!

i think the only song i could associate with almost paradise is so high school but even then it'd be a pretty loose association i think! not a ton to work off of there :(

okay so ive been a taylor listener since the release of the og red and even tho i know 90% of her discography by heart i genuinely hate identifying as a swiftie.

the taylor fandom is so so so toxic and if you have your own opinions then boom u have a whole ass army of white girls threatening to ruin ur life.

like personally i hated speak now tv bc it lost all the angst speak now was known for and frankly i just dont listen to it at all. and it doesnt matter bc shes so rich that a couple cents literally make no difference to her lavish life, but when i see other ppl who share this opinion say so, all of a sudden theyre fake swifties and apparently hate women or something.

if you dont conform to the hive mind of the swiftie fandom, you get hate for it. dont listen to evermore? fake swiftie. prefer a non taylors version song over the taylors version? fake swiftie. and god forbid you point out that maybe taylors the problem in any of her relationships, bc if you say that then wow, you're a mysogynist!

personally i just genuinely cant stand the hate swifties are giving joe alwyn too bc they're always like "joe was there for her at her worst but couldnt stand her at her best" like ok some ppl just dont want to be in the spotlight. thats not a problem, and its for the best that they broke up bc thats better than an unhappy relationship. but joe's getting all the shit and nobodys pointing out the fact that taylor could be at fault too — breakups arent always one persons fault.

and also if u like popular songs then everyone just goes "wow u should listen to folklore". its not a big deal but it just pisses me off a little bit bc ive listened to the entirety of folklore, i love the album, and my fav songs are haunted (the og), wonderland, and red but noooo, if i say that i enjoy listening to blank space all of a sudden im not a real fan anymore.

red: all too well 10 minute version TV (yep i am gonna pick this like everyone else but i also love the moment i knew and starlight)

1989: clean (but style and out of the woods almost beat it)

reputation: dwoht (it's just so fun but just the bottom half of rep from gorgeous on is soooo good + call it what you want)

lover: cruel summer (had to pick it but also love cornelia street and miss americana and the heartbreak prince)
