My favourite trope in fanfiction is actually time-travel meeting, where the younger ones can see that things do actually get better, and the older ones can see that they have actually changed, and they’ve achieved so much. And I think the Bad Kids are primed for that kind of thing.
I’m imagining that they’ve been graduated for a few years, they’ve got their own careers, but they do still adventure pretty regularly and are a well known party. Then, they’re fighting something that’s gotten ahold of a chronomancy object, and when one of the BKs tries to grab it, they (and the thing they’re fighting) are sent back in time.
Meanwhile, it’s the second day of freshman year, everyone is still standing outside, waiting for the first bell, the younger BKs are whispering about what the corn means, when a huge monster falls through a rip in time and crushes one of the statues near the front doors. Then, before anyone can do anything, six full grown adventurers are destroying it and grabbing the watch and pulling each other up, congratulating each other, laughing.
Goldenhoard tries to go up to them and ask what’s going on, and the goblin on the half-orc’s shoulders pulls out a gun and shoots him point blank. Everyone’s confused as hell, and the group don’t seem to know where they are. Until someone mentions the date, and then they just look kind of exhausted. At the end of the day, when the young BKs try to go to Krom’s to spy on Johnny Spells, they find older versions of themselves, who spent the day reminding themselves what happened and figuring out how to help with Freshman Year level problems, including-
-Fig getting Gorthalax out, sitting all her parents and younger self down and having a talk about how best to keep communication open and be kinder to yourselves, since they all want each other to be happy.
-Fabien has a long talk with both of his parents, getting his mom sober earlier, and a talk with younger him about being your own person and living up to expectations.
-Adaine pulls younger her from her family, and gets Aelwyn to chill. She does get her parents out of Elmville, via Blackmail or other means, with the implicit threat of punching them to death. She now has two younger sisters, and encourages the type of emotional self expression that was previously repressed.
-Riz giving his younger self the schedule he works on, including breaks for all meals and six hours of sleep each night. He doesn’t allow younger him to fall int the bad habits he did. He also tells his mom a little bit about his dads new job, and they have a happy cry about it.
-Gorgug gives his parents the schematics for a reinforced bed and a few of his works. Younger Gorgug is a little starstruck that older him is so cool, and Gorgug takes a minute to explain to younger him that he deserves to have the things he puts effort and thought into pay off, that he deserves to take pride in the cool things he could accomplish.
-Kristin gets younger her to speed run an entire theological breakdown, reassures her at every step, and gets her into a more relaxed, solid mindset with a support system outside of her family. She also has to find a smart way of getting young Kristin to realise she’s a lesbian without sending her into a crisis, and is semi-successful.
-Throughout the year, the older BKs have run ins with their parents, go about fixing problems for Sophmore and Junior year (they stop Porter’s plan, and when he runs off Gorgug ends up being a substitute Barbarian teacher for half the year). They’re trying to figure out how to get back to their time. The ending is either Kristin dying to Coach Dawn and bringing Arthur back, who can send them back, or they can’t go back, so now there’s two versions of the BKs running around, and if both groups are in one place, everyone else evacuates, because something is about to go down.

The Realization
Tumblr media
Gender Fluid
I was 15 or 16 in when I first heard the term "gender fluid" in 2015. From what I understood, gender fluidity is when a person sometimes identifies as/feels female, sometimes identifies as/feels males, and/or sometimes identifies as/feels neither male nor female (or perhaps both male and female or something in between). Every weird, conflicting feeling suddenly made sense to me: maybe I'm not just a girl--maybe I'm also partially a boy. I started reading more about nonbinary gender identities and tips for exploring my own gender identity. One day, not long after learning about gender fluidity, I asked my older sister if it mattered to her whether I wore a dress or a tux at my hypothetical future wedding. She said that it didn't matter to her and that she would support me no matter what. That conversation gave me the push I needed to start exploring and expressing who I am.
Tumblr media
(me wearing my grandfather's hat; my dad's vest is hanging on the chair behind me because I'd been trying it on)
It wasn't long before I realized how much more comfortable I felt when I let go of the idea of being a cis woman, and I started becoming more and more detached from the concept of girl/womanhood as a whole. This thought popped into my head more and more: Am I a boy?
Am I a Boy?
Tumblr media
By mid-summer of 2015, I really started questioning whether or not I was actually a trans boy instead of a gender fluid person. I looked up tons of online quizzes about "how to tell if you're trans" and watched videos of trans guys explaining their life stories and answering questions. I joined a WhatsApp group for trans teens and started testing out using he/him pronouns online. I started wearing even more masculine clothing and getting more masculine haircuts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
When I showed up for the annual family reunion that summer, the first thing anybody said to me was, "you look like a boy!" That made me so happy. My mom and I also went on a bunch of college tours that summer, and I insisted upon wearing a tie and button-up shirt everywhere we went.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But I could feel tension in my family over how I looked, and I was incredibly intimidated and depressed by the idea of actually coming out and transitioning to male. Transitioning seemed like an impossible challenge--to make the leap and come out seemed so hard, but to stay the same seemed even harder. My mental health deteriorated. At the end of the summer, I told my therapist about thinking that I might be trans and that I was so upset about it that I felt like a danger to myself. My therapist called my parents in to express concerns over my mental health, and on the way home from that appointment, I told my parents that I thought I was trans. It was a very tense and emotional moment, and my parents seemed angry. They encouraged me to reconsider and said, "You only have one more year left of high school, you should wait before you make any changes." I felt that I knew who I was, but the response from my parents made me feel like it wasn't the right time to come out, so I decided to stay in the closet until I could figure out what to do.
Life in the Closet
So, I stayed in the closet outwardly but inwardly continued to identify myself as male. I figured that, if I couldn't come out as trans, I might as well come out as a lesbian (despite me not being a lesbian/not being mainly attracted to girls/women). Coming out as a lesbian seemed like a loophole that would make it acceptable for me to have a masculine presentation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There were a couple of LGBTQ+ youth groups within a 45-minute drive from me that I started attending, and I shared my feelings with them. My parents were worried that the people at these groups would encourage me to transition, so they weren't thrilled about me going to these groups. My solution was to start my own group--I spent months petitioning my high school and was able to start a gay-straight alliance (GSA).
Tumblr media
(original poster for the GSA)
I thought that creating the GSA would empower me to come out, but it just never felt like the right time. Other students in the group started coming out, and I was too nervous to steal anybody's thunder or to make that leap myself. Outside of school, I tried to come out to my parents multiple times by saying, "Could we try using he/him pronouns for me?" or, "Could you try referring to me as your son?" This just created more and more tension. When my sister started a new school, my mom refused to take me in public with them for 6 months in case anybody saw me and it negatively impacted my sister's social life, and I could only go with them if I dressed femininely. I gave being a girl another shot, but it felt embarrassing and uncomfortable.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That phase didn't last long. To make a long story short, I started college and felt so much despair and unhappiness. I kept trying to come out, but nobody understood me or would respect my requests. I tried just saying I was agender because I thought that would make it easier, but it didn't. After going in and out of psychiatric hospitals, I moved into a youth shelter at the age of 17. That's where I finally had the courage to start...

if someones already got a similar concept going so you don’t want to do the same, that’s fine!!!!!!! (but drop the @ if thats the case)

Once upon a time, in a quiet suburban neighborhood, there lived a young girl named Yn. She was not your ordinary girl; she had a passion for dance that made her stand out. Yn's graceful moves, her fluidity on the dance floor, and how she expressed her soul through dance were mesmerizing.
Yn had an older brother named Harry, who was always there for her. With a considerable age gap of about ten years, Harry took on a protective role in her life. Their bond was strong, a testament to the love they had for each other. Harry watched as Yn grew into a beautiful and talented dancer, but he also saw all the struggles she faced as she figured out her own identity.
Yn had known for a while that she was different from other girls her age. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but she knew there was something that set her apart. As she got older, she began to understand what it was - she was a lesbian. This realization had brought her both relief and anxiety. She was relieved to understand her own identity, but she worried about how her family and friends might react.
One evening, Yn decided it was time to share her truth with Harry. They were sitting in the living room, Yn fidgeting with her fingers while Harry was engrossed in his book.
"Harry, can I talk to you about something?" she finally asked.
Harry looked up from his book, concern strewn across his face. "Sure, Yn. You can talk to me about anything. What's on your mind?"
She took a deep breath, her heart pounding in her chest. "I've realized something about myself, something important. I'm a-a lesbian, Harry."
Harry put his book down to give his little sister his undivided attention. He could see the mix of emotions in her eyes – vulnerability, fear, and a tiny glimmer of hope. His face softened, and he scooted forward and held her hands in his, before replying "Yn, I'm glad you feel comfortable sharing this with me, love. I love you, and nothing will change that. You're still the same amazing person you've always been."
Tears welled up in Yn's eyes as she felt a wave of relief wash over her. She had been so afraid of how her brother would react, but his unconditional love and support were a soothe for her.
Over the next few weeks, Harry and Yn talked about her journey of self-discovery. Harry listened to her experiences, her fears, and her hopes for the future. He became her confidant, someone she could lean on during the challenging times ahead.
As Yn continued to grow as a dancer, she found the courage to come out to her parents and close friends. She faced her fears head-on and discovered that the people who truly loved her accepted her for who she was.
With Harry's never-ending support, Yn's confidence began to soar. She decided to take a bold step forward by coming out to her dance troupe, a group of talented dancers she had considered her second family for years. It was during one of their practice sessions, a time when she felt most connected to all of them, that she decided to share her truth.
The dancers gathered in the studio, ready to begin their routine. Yn, her heart pounding with anticipation, took a deep breath. "Hey, everyone, I have something important to tell you."
The room fell silent as her friends turned to look at her. Yn could see a mix of curiosity and concern on their faces. She continued, her voice steady, "I want to share that I'm a lesbian. It's an important part of who I am, and I wanted you all to know."
A few seconds of silence hung in the air, but then something incredible happened. One by one, her fellow dancers began to applaud. The applause grew louder and turned into cheers and hugs. Yn felt an overwhelming sense of acceptance and support.
Her best friend and fellow dancer, Emily, pulled Yn into a tight embrace. "Yn, we love you no matter who you are. We're so proud of you for being your true self."
Yn's heart swelled with gratitude. She knew that coming out wouldn't always be met with such warmth and acceptance, but she was grateful to have a group of friends who stood by her side.
As time passed, Yn's journey continued. She used her experiences and emotions as a source of inspiration for her dance routines. Her performances took on a new depth and authenticity, resonating with audiences on a profound level that she had never imagined.
Yn's journey of self-discovery and coming out as a lesbian not only strengthened her bond with Harry but also with her family, friends, and dance troupe. She learned that love and acceptance could overcome fear and prejudice, and her passion for dance continued to flourish, stronger than ever.
She had found her true self, and she danced her way through life, touching the hearts of everyone who she met throughout her journey.

Even More About Sophie!
cuz she’s becoming one of my favorite OCs and I have incomplete lore about her (they will still have some incomplete lore, even after this)
also, her full name is Sophie Aster Danlend
anyway
Some more facts (a bit more about their family):
She has a fluffy, brown rag doll cat named Bear
Tumblr media
He looks like this, she got him as a emotional support cat after her mom passed
2. Her middle name is part of the name of a Irish flower, the Sea Aster
3. She has a big scrap books full of things from cool stuff she’s either done/went to over the years. (Ex: concert tickets, photos, stickers, etc.)
4. They really want to go traveling, so she’s saving up a lot of money to do so (some places she wants to go to are Greece, Italy, Rome, and Germany) she also has a space saved in her scrap book for these travels
5. Sophie had a feminine mullet through out high school, that she then tried to grow out once she was in college
Tumblr media
It looked something like this
6. I’ve mentioned them before but, she has three younger siblings and their names are (in age order): Bridget who is 20, Liam who is 18, and Cara who is 15
7. Her mom passed at around 34 years old due to terminal illness, and her father is currently 45, they got married at 18 and had Sophie at 20
8. Bridget is nearly done with college and is dating a girl named Sarah and both are lesbian, Liam has freshly graduated and is aroace so he isn’t dating anyone but he has a friend named Stacy who is also aroace and they plan to be roommates and get a apartment after or during college and Cara is going into Freshman Year of High School and she has a good friend group and she hasn’t really thought about who she likes, all 3 siblings have a good relationship with Sophie and they have “sibling weekend” twice a month where they get together at a restaurant or something and talk about how life is
9. The three older siblings make sure to visit Cara and their Dad whenever they can and help him if he needs some help wether it’s financial support or someone to watch over Cara while he’s on a business trip or anything
10. Sophie has “girls nights” with Cara a few times a month where she sleeps over at Soph’s apartment and they eat candy and watch movies and talk shit, whether it was about some of Sophie’s customers or a shitty coworker or if Cara has some bitchy classmates
Not So Fun Fact: After her mom passed away and their family moved to California, Sophie’s Aunt Jane, who was living in California, offered to stay with the family to help out. When actually, she just wanted to be filler for Sophie’s mom and control Sophie as she’s going through high school (she’s one of those family members who has controversial opinions on everything, especially over the fact that Sophie liked to appear more masculine) Sophie was more of a mom to her younger siblings than their Aunt Jane ever was. She doesn’t live with the family anymore but she tries to “parent” Cara as much as she can, like it’s a second try then what she got with Sophie (who was a second try from her cousin, Jane’s daughter Abigail) and so Sophie started doing “girls nights”, not only so she can spend time with her sister but to also protect her and give her space from their aunt.
I’ll draw high school Sophie and her haircut and Soph’s family some time sooner or later.
that’s all for now!

I’d love to hear about your interp of hana wildebeest and sage kuroki!!
Them!!! my beloveds!!!
Ok So. Hana is a cherub, she/he/they depending on which head/s ur talking to. Definitely the older sister of the team, of the younger people she carries the team in terms of spirit/emotional support. Very active, adhd icon can Not sit down. Hangs out with Clyde and Grit a lot, jokes that they're the old men gang. Despite that, Hana is the person who carries teammates back home after a game if they're tired.
Kuroki is a dryad, based on the red-black tree in computer science. Cyberdryad I like to see it. He/him short king butch lesbian. I like the interp that 'Sage' is his title! I think Kuroki is a dancer besides a blaseball player (because I'm nothing if not predictable), he mixes kabuki dance with b-boying, and hangs out with Mehdi a lot and would let her do anything. He has a resting bitch face but is pretty chill. The kind of person that looks scary but hands you a waterbottle during practise before you think to ask for it. Best person to gossip with and the one you should call if u have a body to bury. Drinks coffee with Amaya at least once a week. Does Verity's hair before every game.

No-Spoilers Review #5: Bloom into You (Yagate Kimi ni Naru)
Content Warnings: implied suicidal ideation (vague), mild sexual themes
A classic, but definitely not for boring reasons. Bloom into You, or Yagakimi, by Nio Nakatani is one of the most popular and well-known works in the yuri genre, featuring two high school girls with a complicated relationship to love. It is a manga with a one-season anime adaptation as well as a stage adaptation!
Is it good? Yes! The anime is actually quite good, but the REALLY interesting things are in the manga after the anime ends, so give it a shot! This is my top recommendation for anyone totally new to yuri.
Tumblr media
Yuu Koito (pink hair) likes romance manga and songs, but hasn't ever experienced it herself, and didn't feel a thing when a classmate confessed to her. She comes to the conclusion that she is not capable of experiencing it at all. Then, she sees the "perfect" student council president Touko Nanami (black hair) reject someone easily. When Koito approaches her, Nanami confesses to her instead, attracted explicitly because Koito claims that she cannot return her feelings.
As a note, given that this is a romance series, Koito is not actually aromantic. However, a notable supporting character is.
The anime adapts the early sections of Yagakimi extremely well, and looks very beautiful while it's at it! Yagakimi came to the forefront of the genre with a well-written and focused relationship without the male-gaze leeriness and questionable setups of other popular series, while also intentionally going against bad genre stereotypes. In the genre, especially with older works, it's fairly common for them to be set at all-girls schools ("The women fall for each other because there are no men lol") or end after high school with no adult lesbians onscreen ("It's just a phase" or "It's just training for getting a boyfriend later"). Yagakimi stood out at the time by being popular AND not only being at a typical co-ed school, but also by depicting a loving adult couple as supporting characters, so it's an important work!
Tumblr media
However, what I really like about this series actually comes after the point where the anime ends. You see, Nanami's relationship with her family is critical to her mental state. After the passing of her "perfect" older sister, Nanami took it upon herself to literally replace her. I love when it delves into her psychology. It's a scene that I think a lot of people might have missed, but the panel of Nanami asking herself "What's next?" at a train station has really stuck with me--To not give away too many details about it.
Final Thoughts:
Unlike a lot of other series that don't bear naming, Bloom into You actually deserves its popularity and is an excellent introduction, if you don't generally have any experience with these kinds of romance dramas. It's "straightforward" but that's not a bad thing: It has the emotional beats and plot developments down very skillfully. It's been QUITE a while since I've actually read or watched it, so don't just take my word for it!

15 and 28 for the writing ask!
15. Do you write in the margins of your books? Dog-ear your pages? Read in the bath? Why or why not? Do you judge people who do these things? Can we still be friends?
Not really! I’ve annotated in the margins for school b4 but it’s not rly something I do anymore. I also used to dog ear but now I’m more likely to have bookmarks on hand so it’s less of an issue. And I don’t rly take baths so it’s like. Well. I don’t judge ppl who do these things tho (you can do whatever you want forever) unless they’re like. Doing it to a library book or smth.
28. Who is the most delightful character you’ve ever written? Why?
That’s really tough. Delightful as in fun to write or delightful as in a diegetically fun person? Wrt the first interpretation, with OCs, it’s almost certainly Regine because she’s Stephen King Amy Dunne last ten minutes of Hereditary crazy. She’s exactly my type of manipulative lesbian, and the way I’ve written her you get to watch her become that person. It’s really sad, but fun to write. As for fanfic, it’s probably a tie between my beloved Ernestina Pickman and Claude von Riegan. They’re on opposite sides of the delightful spectrum—both extremely idiosyncratic in opposite directions, both with really rich and compelling internal lives that we don’t necessarily get a lot of in the text itself, given the respective mediums of F@TT and FE3H.
Delightful as in “cool and chill” is also difficult, but for OCs it’s almost certainly a tie between Carmel Alderkind and Willow Cunningham. They’re both the nicer, chiller counterparts to a pair of very uptight older sisters, and provide emotional hearts to both their stories. With fanfic, it’s probably Manuela, surprisingly enough, since she, too, provides a lot of emotional support to Dorothea (the POV character). Though if we’re hearkening back to my Transformers days, Aileron is up there. Oh and Marn, but I haven’t written a ton of her so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

very niche take of mine but as much as i babygirlfy dan call him cute and think hes a very hot and attractive guy (specially in the sister daniel costume) i cant bring myself to objectify him or go all out on horny posting bc at the end my parasocial relationship with him is kinda like one of an older brother thats away from me and is keeping up with me weekly abt his interests and his love life because he literally shares some traits with my emotionally absent older brother, such as:
- nicknamed "dan" (hes not a daniel, but a similar name to it)
- born on the same year (hes older by 2 months)
- gay
- lives with his lover far away from home
- snarky & dry humor
and as a lesbian whos still in the closet to my family and a younger sibling who didnt get enough love and was really hated by their older one (not sibling fake hate, like, real emotional damage one) the need to have an older queer sibling figure to support me and share the same struggles and joy in life regarding being lgbtq+ is like. waaaaay higher than anything. so yeah
(but phil on the other hand. all im gonna say is that sharing is caring dan.)

Random OC stuff of the day #3: New OC! Enter Crimson Starius! And some backstory!
So, I missed two days. This is supposed to be a daily thing. But it was my sister’s birthday on the 20th, and we celebrated it until halfway through the 21st, so I was dead tired. I’ll try to post two oc stuff in one day at some point to recover lost time, but i am excusing myself once bc it was my sister’s birthday lol. Have a BIG post to make up for this? Its pretty late but i got forced to cook not my fault
Anyways, new OC! I know it’s really soon but oh well fkrlgkrjejjrjd
I suddenly got the idea (for what he looks like, Violet having a brother has been in the back of my mind for a while even before her redesign) while doodling stuff, and so I made a quick scribble of him before actually drawing him at school. Surprisingly enough, I was able to start and finish him. Here is Crimson!
Tumblr media
Crimson is an 11 year old kid, the younger brother of Violet! The “Sun” to Violet’s “Moon”!
A charismatic, chaotic, fun and bold kid that wants to enjoy himself and make some friends. He’s quite clever, cunning, funny, and is perceptive and likes to share with people. Also very creative and a bit crazy, he’s interesting to be around.
Although he tries not to show it, he’s also pretty emotional, and he’s a bit self conscious of what others think, wanting some attention. Despite this, he’s still a fun, nice and sweet kid who makes mistakes at times. Can be read as selfish, but it’s usually by accident and he’ll do something to make up for it. Shy around new people but that doesnt last long
Somewhat hyperactive and struggles to sit still, and gets bored easily, but he’s really good at being entertaining and enjoyable. He’ll try crazy ideas even if he’s been told it wont end well, and he’s relatively confident in himself, but still wants some validation. He’ll invite a friend to whatever he’s doing, as he wants to make sure they’re enjoying themself too. More relaxed, and kinda goofy.
He draws pretty well for his age (Certainly better than I did LOL), learning how to draw with Violet’s help. A good leader, and smart for his age, notable when he’s around other kids. Relatively mature and knows the most unexpected things (He and Violet share weird fun facts with each other. Sometimes, my irl brother will tell me something he shouldn’t have learned until high school. He’s a great kid, but he scares me sometimes…)
Since he’s so young, he doesn’t really fight (thank goodness although he’s weirdly strong for his age and tall…), but he likes playing with fire, and unfortunately Violet can’t really discourage him due to him being fire immune somehow. I guess he had to pick up some kind of weird trait from her, lol. If he had to use a weapon though, 100% would be a hammer. My IRL brother is having so much fun with the inflated comically oversized one we have.
Tumblr media
(Hey guys, it’s Crimson IRL!)
Crimson and Violet’s sibling dynamic is pretty interesting to me. Due to how he and Violet was left on her own without parents when she was 13 (About a year and half has passed since that happened), they’re very close, sticking together no matter what happens. Sometimes they talk like friends the same age bantering with each other (No joke my brother is crazy smart 75% of the time we talk to each other like we’re twins, and he’s NINE), other times they have a younger brother-older sister dynamic, but Violet’s the one that’s been taking care of him. No idea how she manages to get through it all, but she’s the one who makes sure he’s fed, clothed, has somewhere to sleep, making sure he’s happy, helping him whenever he needs it, and is cared for. Give Violet a “sister of the year” award because MAN i couldn’t imagine managing that at 13 no less
Fortunately, eventually the two get some sort of support system (With Violet getting some friends MAYBE found family…) and they have their older (I’ll introduce her eventually but i haven’t introduced her yet. Maybe i will for lesbian visibility week though) cousin, who is sadly pretty far away and busy, but still tries to help, being the one to buy their living space and giving Violet quite a bit of money to make sure the two can live on their own without having to work or worry. Also gives her advice.
As for how they’re managing to live on their own, they’re doing fine. Because of the fact they’re on their own, they’ve adjusted their living to what fits them best. It’s not all that bad. Still stressful for Violet though
Crimson usually attends online live classes on his laptop (They both have laptops they use for personal and school reasons), and he’s actually taking advanced classes, doing quite well in school. (He still needs to pay more attention sometimes though.) Sometimes he needs help, but he knows what to do for the most part, and if not he’ll ask Violet at some point during the day.
Violet does her school work remotely, not on live classes, but that allows her to go however fast she wants to on her school courses. It also lets her manage her own schedule which is good because the only thing holding her back as a kid in school was having to follow everyone else’s schedule.
Her sleep schedule is naturally fucked up (I swear she’s like some sort of nocturnal creature lmao) and was a bit of an issue when she couldn’t get to sleep all night and got sleepy while in class. But since online courses don’t have that problem, she can sleep whenever the hell she wants! Which is why she’s usually sleeping when other kids are in school lol. Crimson is normal (ish) in the case that he wakes up at the crack of dawn, so usually around 6 AM. Violet is quite book smart. Due to her being able to do assignments wherever and whenever she wants (assuming she meets deadlines), she is zooming through highschool. I imagine the story with Frost, Pyrite and Violet would take place around the summer, so after that she’d be starting courses most people wouldn’t get to until junior year, despite only being 14 and half. 2 grades ahead basically
You’d think that one of them being awake half the time the other is asleep would cause problems, but for the most part it doesn’t. They still eat at least 2 meals a day at the same time, just that for one of them it’s breakfast and for the other its dinner lol. Usually when Violet makes her own lunch (which she has at like 12 am lmao) she’ll have a second plate made, and put it in the fridge to leave for Crimson when he’ll have his own lunch since she’ll be asleep at the time. Though Crimson is learning how to cook too, as he wants to make his own food as well, so that won’t be necessary soon!
While Violet and Crimson don’t judge each other much, they still think some of the things the other does is weird. Like Crimson sometimes goes on rambles and rants talking to himself or the wall about practically anything. It’s like he’s a chronically recording youtuber. Violet isn’t really bothered by this, she just finds it entertaining and kinda funny, and talks back if she has something to add. Crimson also tends to pace around the room a lot. He fidgets if he’s sitting in place, and gets kinda restless assuming he’s not being stimulated in some way, so usually if she sees him doing that she’ll find something for him to fidget with (He might just go find like a wrench to twist himself) but she doesnt think its weird or anything
Crimson might ask Violet a question if he sees her doing something not normal (Like using her telekinesis), but assuming she answers he’ll just take it and be like “Oh cool” and maybe ask her to participate in one of his schemes if her powers end up being useful for it. He thinks the purple markings and nails and glowy eyes is normal bc Violet is his standard for what a person should look like LOL (This is why he doesn’t ask why it’s so difficult for her to sleep like a normal person, or why she’ll manage to infodump about something for hours, or how sounds seem louder to her, or why she gets fixated on specific things, because she’s the person he knows the most, so it feels normal to him. and even if he knows otherwise he doesn’t mind)
Overall, they’re very close, and kinda learned how to socialize by talking to each other lol thats why both of them aren’t too good at talking to normal people. The two will stick together and support each other no matter what. Sometimes they have issues or bicker, but they geninuely love each other (Crimson doesn't say it as much but he ends up conveying that by his actions.) I call them the Sun and Moon duo!
Uh I don’t know what else to put here, but that’s another ramble from me that got super off topic lol. Goodnight guys, hope your day is going well, yuh

About Getting Tamed: Steam Level: 5 Aponi Two Rivers, the most beautiful member of her tribe, and her two most lovely friends are on a visit to Mason Ranch. They are trying to better understand the ponygirl business. They should be careful what they wish for! The entourage of lovelies suspect, but do not yet have evidence, that their tribe and Mason Ranch are breaking the law as they convert women into ponygirls, train them, race them, and even sell them. They also suspect that the white ranchers at Mason Ranch are dominant lesbians who take advantage of the ponygirls. The entourage intends to shut down the ponygirl business. They want clearcut evidence of law breaking or immoral activity. Again, they should be careful what they wish for! Dayanni has disappeared and Aponi and Taima think she is scouting the ranch looking for wrongdoing. She found it, but the wrongdoing she found was done to her! She is now “in process” to becoming a ponygirl. One lovely Indian down. Two more to go. The white ranchers have a diabolical plan. Aponi has no idea yet that her older sister has put the ranchers up to seducing and dominating her. Aponi brought her friends for helpful support, but she may have instead led them right into lesbian domination and a life as ponygirls! Can the ranchers trick and then tame one or more of the remaining Indian visitors? How could they when Aponi and Taima already look upon them with suspicion? A lot of these are connected to my fanfic, Our House. If you’d like to read it I’ll leave a link for it underneath my headcanons. The support I’ve received on both the original upload and the reupload(which is getting updated as much as possible) is so amazing. Thank you guys for reading my silly little ideas :) <3 most of these hcs will be Kern-Kimble related!
FAMILY & CHILDHOOD RELATED HCS
Jimbo and Sharon
The two are half siblings with about an 8-9 year age difference, both with the same mother(Daisy Kern) but different fathers, Jimbo’s being unknown and Sharon’s being David “Davy” Kimble. Sharon is cousins with Richard Tweak.
Jimbo grew up in a women and children’s centre with his mother and was often teased for wearing old or handmade clothing after Daisy’s parents kicked her out. She had Jimbo as a teenager forcing her to drop out of highschool. She absolutely adored him, he was a maaaaajor mama’s boy and is to this day. As a kid, Jimbo adored little tin soldiers that used to come in cereal boxes and a couple old wooden trucks his stepfather made him.
When Jimbo was 6, Daisy met his future stepfather, Davy. The man worked as a cook at the centre and often entertained the children, especially Jimbo, by performing shadow puppet shows or making paper hats. Davy and Daisy began dating, against the rules of the facility and got married when Jimbo was 8 after finding out Daisy was pregnant. Davy and Jimbo had always been close, and he took Jimbo on his first hunting trip at 8 years old.
Sharon wasn’t told her brother had a different father until she questioned them having separate last names after a few kids in her class teased her about it. Overall, it confused her but that was still her big brother. With both parents working full-time jobs to keep the family afloat, Jimbo practically raised her. As a kid Sharon was good friends with her cousin, Richard Tweak and Gerald Broflovski. She was often teased for dressing tomboyish and trying to act like her older brother.
Ned
Ned was the second child of an American man and Canadian mother. His father, Edward Gerblanski, was born in Denver, while his mother, Louise Gerblanski(Morrison), was born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. The two met when Edward visited Cape Breton in his early 20s. Ned is partially named after his father, his legal name being Edwin Thomas Gerblanski but in high school he began introducing himself simply as Ned or Ned G to separate from his poor home life. His older sister’s name is Lorraine, she’s taller than him and he hates it.
Ned grew up in Canada until about age 14, when his family moved to Denver, going from rural Cape Breton with fishing boats and cranberry bogs to a cramped and glorified cardboard box of an apartment. He adored bugs and history classes, as well as reading and in high school began boxing to get rid of emotions. His father was verbally and emotionally abusive towards all three of them. He was often sick as a child, especially after moving to the city where his coughing fits would get worse. Today, his mother is back in Canada and Ned calls her often.
Ned’s sister is an over-dramatic, artsy, lesbian wine aunt. Lorraine is an ex hippie and visits every few months. She’s hard of hearing and genuinely drives Jimbo up the wall but <3 Louise was not expecting two gay kids, but she supports the both of them and tries her best to be understanding. Louise is still alive, but Edward is not.
Others
Randy was raised by his father, his mother was around but an alcoholic.
Barbrady had a poor childhood, both parents were barely ever around and he was raised by his grandmother.
Richard Tweak is actually Richard Tweak, his mother and Sharon’s father are cousins. Tweek Bros began with Richard Tweak sr and his brother but constant fighting caused his brother to leave and force Richard jr to fill in his role running the place.
As kids Gerald and Liane wanted each other dead.
On top of that, Liane used to bully Sharon about her brother going to war before Sharon finally broke her nose and she shut up.
Jimbo used to watch Ned’s college boxing games and never realized it was him until he was like 40 and was like “oh hey that’s where I recognized you from!!”.
Shelley is a teen mother like her grandmother, she has a little boy with Kevin at 17 and the two get married after highschool.
His name is Oliver and he is such a little bastard, Stan babysits all the the time. Kenny’s not allowed to after trying to feed him dry cereal as an infant.
Sharon had headgear as a kid too, it made her just as violent she just had a brother double her size.
As adults though, Sharon is taller than Jimbo by an inch or two and Jimbo hates it.
Sharon and Randy get divorced when the kids are 13 and 16. Sharon has nearly full custody and the kids opt to spend more time with her than with Randy.
Ned and Jimbo are the legal guardians of the McCormick kids after their parents are arrested around the same time the Marshes divorce. Then a little afterwards, dominos fall and arrest the Tweaks leaving them with Tweek as well. Neither of them are fond of the term adoptive and don’t want to be called dad or anything by the kids, just want to act like role models and help them out.
Jimbo is secretly a Swiftie and Ned is secretly a fan of Canadian alt rock band, Barenaked Ladies.
I don’t CARE if autism technically doesn’t exist in South Park canon!! autistic Jimbo & Ned, autistic Stan, autistic Shelley and autistic Kevin. Mostly undiagnosed.
When Stan was diagnosed Sharon pointed it out to Jimbo and he was shocked.
“I’m normal 😡😡”
The two always just found their traits were quirks and come to accept it, neither are ever professionally diagnosed but they know what sensory things bother each other and signs of the other getting overwhelmed.
Ned reads Jimbo sad old dog books(Old Yeller, Where The Red Fern Grows) and he sobs. A grown man bawling over a bedtime story <3
The two have two dogs, Stars and Stripes, two old bloodhounds that sleep at the foot of the bed and snore worse than the two men. Jimbo bought them off some guy on Facebook marketplace.
Just like Stan, Sharon can’t shoot anything and would break down in tears on hunting trips with her dad and Jimbo.
hey gang have I told yas about some of my headcanons

Harvey Headcanons! ☕️🛩📚
He grew up in a decently wealthy household. He always had new clothes and a clean haircut, and he was often made fun of for it at school. He just wore whatever his mother picked out for him because he didn't know any better. He wasn't exactly encouraged to explore his personal style as a teenager, and it shows.
He has a very rocky relationship with his mother, who has always been controlling over his life (particularly his love life) and is the main reason for him becoming a doctor (she's also a major reason for his anxiety/insecurities). Harvey considered a variety of options when he accepted that he couldn’t be a pilot, but his mother practically forced him into the medical field. She still tends to project her dreams onto him.
His dad is just... there. He's the type of man that simply agrees with his wife, hardly sharing his own opinions or true emotions in an attempt to appear "manly." He was rather cold toward Harvey as a child and was typically busy with work (I believe he was the CEO of something), but they've grown closer as Harvey has gotten older.
His older sister Hannah is a lot like him, but a super hipster lesbian that’s a bit more on the adventurous side. Their mother is not supportive of her at all, and it’s something that infuriates him (he loves his sister to death). He takes her to a pride parade every year so that she feels loved and accepted by at least one member of her family. She lives in the city and they meet up often, usually on a monthly basis. They both love to read and often exchange books with each other once they've finished them. He considers her to be his best friend.
He played the violin growing up (his mother's idea). He was in orchestra all throughout school, though he was never very good. He enjoyed the music, but he didn't actually like playing very much, and he *hated* being on stage.
He loves dream pop. I just know that this little hipster man gets down to some Cocteau Twins, Lush, or Slowdive. I think he also probably likes The Smiths (they're so relatable to him), but he’s not really into any post-punk beyond that. I also think he likes 70s dad rock a little bit, stuff like Eagles and America- just the classics.
He isn’t really the type to get bored easily. He didn't have a large social circle growing up, so he learned to entertain himself. When he lived in the city he used to go to the movies by himself, and sometimes even to restaurants that he wanted to try. He is painfully lonely at the end of the day, but he does enjoy his own company.
He’s a cat person, 100%. Dogs tend to need too much attention and playtime for his liking. I imagine that his partner's cat loves to rub their head on his mustache and sit on his lap while he reads. I also imagine that they tend to knock his model plane parts onto the floor while he's building them. It annoys him, but he's very patient with his furry friend!
He isn't disturbed or scared by horror movies at all. He doesn't bat an eye, especially at gore- he has a stomach of steel from his days of working at the hospital. He enjoys watching them from time to time simply to critique the medical inaccuracies.
He secretly *loves* Hallmark Christmas movies. He watches them every year from the moment they start airing. He's an absolute sucker for cheesy romance. He cries during them sometimes if he's had a little too much wine.
Okay that was long and way too deep, I'm so incredibly sorry!
I'm just jotting these down as reference points for my fan fic tbh, I thought I'd post it though? Oof ya'll, please bear with me. I'm trying to be more creative in my daily life and this is just my way of forcing myself to actually do it.

do we have any info about John and Alma Cogan’s relationship? I heard they were close and I wonder how her death affected him
Hiya anon—thanks for sending this ask!
John Lennon and Alma Cogan’s relationship is a bit of a puzzle, given that the nature of their relationship is the subject of a fair amount of rumour and debate. There’s arguments for them having had an affair, and then there’s arguments they were platonic friends—and alongside this, there’s also the rumours that Cogan was a lesbian and/or asexual.
It seems the rumours for them having had an affair stem mostly from Cynthia Lennon and Sandra Caron (Alma’s sister), who both stated they believed John and Alma had had an affair.
In Cynthias book ‘John’ she wrote:
Alma Cogan was one of the women I suspected he was having an affair with. I could see the sexual tension between them and how outrageously she flirted with him, but I had no real grounds for suspicion—just a strong gut feeling.
[…] when I began to wonder if John had had affairs with Alma, Sonny and a couple of other women who were around us at the time, I decided to let it go. I believed that John and I were strong enough together to come through anything, and that unless an infidelity was staring me in the face I wouldn’t ask him or look for evidence. (pg. 161—162)
In a 2015 Daily Mail article, its also written that Cynthia Lennon allegedly said in a 1989 interview:
‘John thought I didn’t know anything about him and Alma, and I never let on,’ confided Cynthia.
‘Now that I think about it, with all the emotion gone out of it, I can see the attraction. Alma was about eight years older than John and very much the Auntie figure.’
[Note: This Daily Mail article was published 4 days after Cynthias death by the author Lesley-Ann Jones. @queerlennon has a good post explaining why Jones isn’t really a reliable source, so its worth giving that a read to contextualise the article. Overall, its not impossible that Cynthia might have said this in interview with Jones, especially since the sentiments shared align with the extracts in her book—but given that it was published shortly after her death and given its author (plus the tabloid it was published in), its a little harder to determine its credibility.]
As aforementioned, Alma’s sister Sandra also supports the affair rumours. In a 2006 Daily Mail article, Sandra said:
She told me: 'I knew about Alma and John, of course, but it was something no one admitted because John was married. We had a very strict Jewish upbringing and my mother would never have approved of a relationship between Alma and a married man.’
The same article also alleges that the two would meet in hotels under a pseudonym:
Alma and Lennon, both heavily disguised, took to meeting for passionate interludes in anonymous West End hotel suites, where they sometimes registered as 'Mr and Mrs Winston' (Lennon's middle name).
The same sentiment was made in Phillip Normans 2008 biography ‘John Lennon: The Life’; he additionally claims that Brian Epstein had hoped to marry Cogan:
Though most male suitors were kept firmly at arm's length, Alma's younger sister, Sandra, now says that John and ‘Sara Sequin’ had a passionate affair—mostly conducted at West End hotels, where they would register under aliases like ‘Mr and Mrs Winston’—and that Cyn never found out about it. To complicate matters, Brian also developed an infatuation with Alma, to the point of wavering back towards heterosexuality; he took her to Liverpool to meet his parents and talked openly of marrying her. That would have spelled a very different future for him and possibly John also; however, nothing came of the idea, and Alma was to die from cancer in 1966, aged 34. (pg. 328)
One thing that makes Sandra Cogan’s statement loose some credibility for me, is that Im not sure where she received the information that John and Alma frequented hotels under pseudonyms from. She said that the affair was something no one admitted to, so presumably she didn’t hear this from Alma herself. This isn’t to say that Sandra is lying, because generally speaking, I don’t tend to think close relatives of celebrities lie about these sorts of things. It would just be helpful to know who she received this information from (and furthermore, it would also be helpful to find out if any sources corroborate Normans claim that Epstein spoke openly about wanting to marry Cogan).
If Jones’s interview with Cynthia does happen to be real, then the original sources seem to have acquaintances of Cynthias, given that she said:
Cynthia described it to me as ‘a woman’s intuition’, a ‘gut feeling’. She ‘just knew as a wife does’. When ‘well-meaning friends’ told Cynthia that John and Alma were booking into hotels using aliases such as ‘Mr and Mrs Winston’ – John’s middle name – and even sporting disguises, Cynthia could not have been less surprised.
When it comes to Alma’s sexuality, I haven’t really come across much that would suggest she was a lesbian, beyond rumours. The Daily Mail wrote in the aforementioned 2006 article:
(cw: rape)
As she remained unmarried into her 30s, rumours swirled around her. It was whispered that she was a lesbian.
A BBC television documentary to be screened on Friday and a DVD just released to mark the 40th anniversary of her death present Cogan as a sexual enigma. Two of the men who regularly escorted her, composer Lionel Bart and Beatles manager Brian Epstein, were both gay.
And one of Cogan's closest friends, the broadcaster David Jacobs, says: 'I always thought of her as a virgin.’
One story, allegedly told by the young Dusty Springfield, an admitted lesbian herself, with whom Cogan was said to be closely involved, was that Alma was not really gay, but had been raped as a young teenager and had developed a mental block about sex with men as a consequence.
Her younger sister, West End stage star Sandra Caron, who is also Alma's biographer, dismisses this rape story, saying: 'People just make these things up.' But Sandra, some years Alma's junior, would have been a small child at the time and might well not have been told about the rape, if it happened.
Sandra also discounts the lesbian rumours. 'Yes, people tried to say that she liked women,' she says. 'That was because she hadn't married. But there were men with whom she was involved, and had she lived, she certainly would have married.'
Im not particularly inclined to believe the Dusty Springfield story, given that we don’t know where it came from. As far as my research goes, the only source is the Daily Mail, and they don’t supply an original source they only allege that she might have said this. So while it’s not impossible, it’s not very credible.
And then as far as Alma being a lesbian goes, again, it’s not impossible, but there just isn’t a lot to substantiate the claim, and it seems to be largely—if not entirely—rooted in the social attitudes of the time.
So, in terms of the actual nature of their relationship, it’s a tough call. Personally, if I had to pick a side Id swing more towards the evidence for them having had an affair, just because there appears to be more evidence supporting it (as opposed to the evidence that Alma was a lesbian/asexual)—although I wouldn’t call myself a staunch believer in it, and its still plausible that their relationship could have just been a platonic one (and to clarify as well, its still conceivable that the relationship could have been platonic, even if Alma was heterosexual).
There’s also an extract in Julia Bairds (Johns sister) book which I feel is worth mentioning, because perhaps it provides some insight on the appeal Cogan had for John:
The very next day the four Beatles went to a house party. Nothing too unusual in that, you might think. But this was Alma Cogan’s party. She was a major star at that time. Our mother had loved her and so did my sister. […] Mummy and Jackie meanwhile would peer at the television set to see what Alma Cogan was wearing. I don’t know how interesting they found the songs, but the great, full, flared dresses, with stars and spangles, captivated both of them. The screen was black-and-white, of course, back then, but this didn’t seem to detract from the awe in which they held her costumes. John was to become good friends with Alma, and there were even rumours that they had an affair, though I didn’t hear of them at the time. I wonder if John told her about how much Mummy had loved her.
— Imagine This: Growing Up with My Brother John Lennon (pg. 247-248)
Perhaps nostalgia played a role in their relationship, given that Johns mother had been a big fan of her. Fond memories of Julia might have, in part, incited his interest in Cogan. Just a speculation, but I thought it could be on to something.
Then there was Alma’s death from ovarian cancer, aged 34 (Oct. 26, 1966).
There are some sources Ive come across that tell us he was deeply affected by her death, although again its difficult to say how credible they are, given that they come from the same Daily Mail interviews mentioned earlier:
She admitted: ‘When Alma died from ovarian cancer, aged only 34, John was inconsolable.
‘The woman he’d perhaps earmarked to replace his beloved Aunt Mimi [his mother’s sister, who helped to raise him] in his affections was now lost to him.
‘He met Yoko when he needed to, just a fortnight into his grief. She was this obsessive fan who’d turn up and follow him around.
‘She irritated the life out of John to begin with. But Alma died and something odd happened to John. Things turned. Yoko must have seen her opportunity and seized it. She wore the trousers and would control and dominate John for the rest of his life. Yoko was John’s new Aunt Mimi. She worked out what John needed in a woman, right under my nose, and she reinvented herself.’
— Cynthia Lennon, ‘Yes, I lost John to another woman...but it WASN'T Yoko’, Daily Mail 2015
…in 1962, when The Beatles appeared with Cogan in Sunday Night At The London Palladium, it was obvious that Lennon rapidly revised his view. 'John was potty about her,' George Harrison revealed later. 'He thought her really sexy and was gutted when she died.’
— John Lennon's secret lover, Daily Mail 2006
[Note: Its not clear where this quote from George originated from, so take it with a grain of salt (unless anyone does happen to have an original source for it).]
Circumstantially speaking, John did seem to be using LSD a lot in the months following her death—so potentially one might link that to grief over Alma’s death. Although, his LSD usage had been fairly consistent throughout that year, plus it hadn’t been a particularly easy year for him (with the Bigger Then Jesus scandal, Philippines etc.), so I don’t necessarily see this circumstantial evidence as being much to go on. But hypothetically, his drug consumption could be telling of the grief he was experiencing at the time.
Anyway, as I said at the start of this post, their relationship is a bit of a puzzle. There’s a lot of possibilities, but then there’s not really much to substantiate most of them. Hope this post was of some help though, and as per usual, if anyone has any additional sources or thoughts they feel are worth sharing, feel free to!
