I like to imagine that all playable characters in genshin are at least aware of eachother.
I don't care that they've never interacted in canon! I think it's really fun to make up an elaborate story linking two completely unrelated characters, and I think we should all do it.
Here are some off the top of my head:
Rosaria and Ningguang - Rosaria was going about her business, crossed the Liyue boarder accidentally and beat up a bunch of treasure hoarder ass. The Qixing has eyes everywhere, Ningguang calls her to the jade chamber, not to scold her though, but rather to express great interest in future dealings. They now have tea whenever Rosaria feels like strolling to Liyue again.
Kaeya and Itto - penpals. Kaeya sent a letter addressed to Diluc during his 4 year rampage, it got entirely misdelivered ended up in Inazuma. Itto found it and decided to open it to see who it was from and if it was important enough to try to get delivered. Wrote Kaeya a letter back, saying something like "wassup bud, just letting yk your bros letter didn't make it to him. The 1 and Oni Arataki Itto (das me) found it, opened it up 2 tell you I did :D Love, Itto, coolest oni you'll meet AND the boss and founder of the famous Arataki Gang (named after me) ps. Congrats on the promo to calvary captin... I definitely know what that is and it sounds cool but not as cool as the gang. Lmk if you want to join :)" And Kaeya wrote back, because why not. Now he's got contacts in Inazuma too and is an honorary member of the gang repping it in Mond.
Collei and Sara - Tighnari had business in Inazuma, took Collei with him as her carer and superior. While he was doing his thing, Collei got lost and walked up to the nearest authority figure who just so happened to be Kujo Sara. She helped Collei get to where she needed to be. It's a one time encounter.
I am getting carried away because they're honestly really fun. I can understand why people have rare pairs and shit, even though all of these are meant purely platonically.

Genshin impact but all of the archons run competing daycares.
Yes, it's me, back at it again with my bullshjt.
- Venti only babysits part-time. The kids love him because he's so laid back. The parents...not so much. His business dropped significantly after he was seen giving a kid some wine. He only has a couple of recurring families he sits for, now that Dvalin and Andrius are older and had their rebellious phases. The Lawrence’s (the victims of the Wine Incident) no longer hire him, so he's left watching Jean + Barbara and Kaeya + Diluc
-Zhongli is very trusted by the community. The parents think that just having their kids around him makes them smarter. Unlike Venti, he's running an actual business. It's honestly more of a private preschool than anything else. It is very expensive, though most of the money seems to go towards facilities and textbooks since Mr. Zhongli always seems to be out of cash whenever he's spotted at the checkout line. Some of his most notable students include a chubby 4-year-old named Ganyu and a 2-year-old named Yanfei. Perhaps the most well-known student is a 3-year-old named Xiao, who Zhongli adopted after realizing he was being abused by his mother.
- Ei and Yae co-own a daycare. Yae loves reading to the kids almost as much as she loves tormenting Ei by giving the tots candy right before naptime. The energetic toddlers wouldn't be so bad if Yae weren't stealing the sweets from Ei’s personal stash. For the most part, the children are well behaved...although there was one time where Kokomi tried to get them to start a rebellion after Mrs. Ei confiscated her favorite stuffed animal. It was only after Ei started stealing back the stolen snacks that the other kids got involved. Except, of course Kujou Sara, the teachers pet. The daycare is much more casual than Zhongli’s preschool/daycare hybrid, though one kid, Itto, did get kicked out for picking fights with the other students.
-The Tsaritsa has an orphanage with a bunch of murder children. If it sounds familiar from Honkai, no it doesn’t. One of the kids is speculated to be another daycare owners run away son. Some of them are quiet, Pierro the teacher’s helper and Pantalone who sits in the corner counting his Monopoly money come to mind. Other however...there’s one kid from Mondstadt that’s almost 8 years old who claims to want to purge the world of corruption. There’s another one that’s also about 6 or 7 who’s basically Sid from toy story. He plays operation with his teddy bears. There is now one teddy bear made from the parts of 7. There’s also Tartaglia, who’s almost 4 and is the sweetest little kid...when he wants to be. He’s adorable if not for the fact that he flooded the building. Twice. But kids will be kids and he seems to be having fun, so she’ll let it slide.
