At this show, Gerard Way wore a large green poncho with the name "DOUG" written on it, white skull face paint and the words "TAKE IT EASY" written on his arm. A photo of the band "The Eagles" playing the same stage in 1977 was printed out and taped to the drums. (🖤)

Okay writing this down in case I forget bc I think I wanna make OCs out of this.

I had a dream that I started getting into this franchise that started with an old anime @artistefish really liked. Yeah Arty my brain made up an anime and made me believe you posted abt it all the time hdhffjc

ANYWAY the main character was this boy with black, kinda spiky hair who happened to be a cyborg. He spent most of his time asleep in a big tank full of some kind of chemical. The evil genius who created him, who was eerily similar to Dr. Eggman, intended to make him into a weapon of mass destruction someday, but kept him in suspended consciousness for the time being. So obv a lot of Astro Boy/Jetter Mars inspo. This guy's lair was also full of creatures like Pokémon, so he essentially had Pokémon minions.

Then some princess, who was similar to BOTW Zelda but also mildly similar to Nikki from Astro Boy, ventured into the castle to stop this mad scientist with her magic, but she lost a fight against him and was captured. Then the boy woke up from his years-long sleep to go rescue her, even though he didn't know her. Ahh, romance.

But for some reason throughout the series, aside from rare occasions that the princess convinced the cyborg to venture out, he would always climb back into his tank and go to sleep after saving her or someone else. There was either some Stockholm syndrome involved or the mad scientist was actually not that evil, bc cyborg boy would always go back to him and considered him a father, and even when the princess and cyborg eventually got married, the princess lovingly referred to her father-in-law??

Overall tho it was very very cute. I want to design these characters from my vague memory now.
