I just spent over half an hour to put together a pink scratching pole me & my mother decided to buy on AliExpress because local stores don't have cute colors as our old black scratching pole needed some replacements: (We are known for having a very colorful home and this time we wanted our scratching poles to match)

Somi hereby gave his approval after his mother and sisters had already checked out the pole (he was a good boy and decided to 'let the girls have a go at it' before he decided to take a seat). I raised a gentleman, and he looks dashing against the baby pink.

Memories of Gimli

On April 4, 2022 (the 18th anniversary of my father's passing!), my beautiful fur baby Gimli crossed the rainbow bridge. As you can imagine, I miss him greatly. Thankfully, I have pictures of him. I think I'll share some of them with you guys. Enjoy!

And yes, he was named after the Dwarf in "Lord of the Rings." Gimli came into my life a few months after my sister and I went to see "Return of the King," with our father (2004). Gimli was rescued as a kitten and, when I decided I wanted to keep him, I gave him a name that I felt suited him perfectly: Gimli.
