Part 2

It’s the next day and everything from yesterday feels like a dream. You’ve never seen Todoroki that angry and even though you weren’t proud of what he did, you thought it was kinda hot. Seeing Todoroki as something other than composed brought this sort of rise out of you.

This week, UA is going to be doing a cultural festival and class 1A is in charge of coming up with different booths to have for everyone to enjoy when they come to the school.

Some people came up with games like ring toss and the game where you knock down the bottles, other people said a booth where you sell charms for luck, love, etc.

“Ooo!! Guys!! What if we do a kissing booth?!” Mina asks excited

Some of the other girls and boys agreed that a kissing booth was a great idea.

“I really do not think that is and appropriate feature that we should advertise as an academic institution,” Iida says

“Oh c’mon, Iida! It should be fun, that is what the cultural festival is all about,” you say, encouraging Mina’s idea

Everyone else chimed in and thought it was a great idea as well.

Iida was out voted.

“Well, if you all want it so bad, then pick who would be in charge of running the booth,” Iida says

“I think Y/n should do it,” Mina says

“Mina!! I have a boyfriend! I can’t,” you say protesting the idea

“Oh yeah.. you’re right.. sorry,” she says rubbing the back of her head

“W-what about Todoroki,” Hagakure asks shyly

Although no one can see her, you can tell that she was blushing.

“Todoroki would never-”

“I mean I don’t see why not,” Todoroki says, cutting you off

“R-really,” you ask confused with a tinge of irritation

“Yeah,” he says monotone

“Oh,” you say somewhat sad

You don’t even know why you’re sad. Todoroki is single and free to do what he wants. Not just because he’s single, but he’s also his own person.

But you also know Todoroki has feelings for you.

‘Maybe he’s trying to make you jealous’ you think to yourself

‘No way, Todoroki isn’t that petty’ you mentally respond

“Y/N, you feelin okay,” Mina asks, snapping you out of your thoughts

“Y-yeah, just zoned out..sorry,” you say, putting on a smile

“Okay, so now we just need a girl to run the booth with Todoroki,” Mina says excitedly

“What about you Mina, it was you who came up with it. It would only be right,” you say

“Sure, I don’t mind,” she says

“Alright, then it’s settled, Mina and Todoroki will run the kissing booth,” Iida says

Mina moves closer to you and whispers

“Don’t worry, I’ll keep an eye on Todoroki for you”

“W-what’re you talking about,” you ask nervous as to what she’s implying

“I saw how you reacted when Hagakure offered him up. I’m not dumb ya know,” she says

“I know,” you say laughing,“but it’s not like that”

“Okaaaayyy,” Mina says not believing you

“It’s not,” you say back

“Look, I’m not gonna bully you into admitting it, but I can see that there’s an attraction there,” she says and makes her way to her desk

‘I don’t have feelings for him. I mean he is handsome and brave and when he smiles it’s really cute,”

‘Don’t forget that time with the tub,’ your other inner voice chimes in

‘Yeah that was-wait!! NO!! YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND!!’ you say mentally shaking yourself to get a grip

“Y/n,” Todoroki says, snapping his fingers and taking you out of your head

“Y-yeah, sorry what was that,” you ask

He laughs

“You somewhat resembled Midoriya for a second when you were thinking to yourself,” he starts,“but I was asking if you wanted to have lunch together today.”

“Of course!! We always eat lunch together,” you say with a smile

“Good...I was hoping yesterday didn’t mess anything up between you and I,” he says

“Todoroki, we’re best friends. Nothing can break us apart. Not even a misunderstanding with my boyfriend,” you say honestly

At lunch, you, Todoroki, and the rest of the squad sat together. You sat across from Todoroki.

“Todoroki,” you speak up

“Yes,” he says

“Why-why are you doing the kissing booth,” you ask, wanting desparately to know

“Just because,” he says, not looking you in the eye

“Todoroki, have you even had your first kiss yet,” you ask

“N-no,” he says, somewhat embarrassed,“but what does it matter, if it doesn’t mean anything.”

“A first kiss is special and it should be with someone you truly care for and they care for you too,” you say honestly

He looks at you for a moment

“Mm,” is all he says and goes back to eating

It’s been a couple weeks since you and Bakugou have spoken and the same goes for your boyfriend.

Flashback

‘We need to talk,’ you text your boyfriend

‘Sure babe...is everything alright,” he asks concerned

‘Yeah...I just really need to see you,’ you respond and send him a ping to a park that happens to be half way between UA and his house

You decide to sit on the swing set and wait for your boyfriend.

There is a soft breeze blowing, so you decide to close your eyes and hum a tune until he arrives. Softly swinging back and forth for a few moments, allowing the wind to caress your skin and kiss your hair.

All the while, your mind drifted back and forth between your boyfriend and Bakugou until it just just stopped and stayed on Bakugou. That moment in the photo booth kept sticking out like a sore thumb.

You could only think about how it felt when you two were close and how badly you wanted to kiss him. You never really felt that with your boyfriend as long as you two have been together. You were definitely attracted to your boyfriend, but the way you felt with Bakugou just felt so...magnetic.

“Hey,” you hear behind you,causing you to jump

“Hey,” you say, knowing exactly who it is

“So what did you wanna talk about”

“Us” you say, getting straight to the point

“Where is this coming from,” your boyfriend asks confused

“We’ve needed to talk for a little while, but it was further confirmed today,” you say anxiously

“Well, what happened today,” he asks starting to get mad about what you might be implying

You explain everything that happened today, even the part about the photo booth.

You both sit in silence but you can tell he’s fuming.

“I’m gonna fucking kill him,” he says getting up to punch a tree

“If you’re gonna kill him, then you’re gonna have to kill me too,” you say honestly

“And why the fuck is that,” he asks getting angrier

You stay quiet, dreading the thought of telling him, but you swore not to break his trust.

“You wanted him to kiss you,” he says, almost as if reading your mind

“How long have you felt this way,” he asks, demanding an answer

“A while...” you say, not giving him eye contact

“How long is a while”

You stay quiet

“Goddammit! Answer me!! HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN MAKING ME LOOK FUCKING STUPID?”

“LOOK I NEVER SAID I WAS PROUD OF IT OKAY,” you say finally losing it,“AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION, I NEVER ACTED ON ANY OF WHAT I FELT BECAUSE I LOVED YOU AND HAD ENOUGH RESPECT FOR YOU AND OUR RELATIONSHIP!”

“OH YEAH AND HOW IS LETTING HIM KISS YOU RESPECTFUL?!”

“WE DIDN’T KISS!”

“BUT YOU WANTED TO...and that’s the point. You may not have physically cheated, but your emotions are clearly with him.”

He turns around and starts rubbing his forehead.

“You know what,” he starts,“maybe we need some time apart. You gotta figure out what you want and I’m not gonna be made to look like an idiot while you do so, so for now we’re done. Don’t call or text me until you’ve made up your mind,” he says then walks away

End of flashback

You’ve mostly been hanging out with the girls and even switched seats to sit next to Mina leaving Bakugou with Kiri which you knew he wouldn’t mind. As much as he wouldn’t like to admit it, Kirishima is his best friend.

“So how’s the whole situation going,” Mina asks. She could tell something was off between you and Bakugou and you knew she wouldn’t stop until she figured out what it was so she is the only one that knows everything from how long you’ve had feelings for Bakugou up until the events that took place two weeks ago.

“Honestly...horrible. I’m still so confused. Part of me wants to be with my boyfriend and work it out and the other huge part of me just wants to give everything to Bakugou. Why is this so hard,” you say, putting your head down on the desk

“If you’re having this hard of a time, maybe you should make a pros and cons list for each of the boys,” she says jokingly,but with a hint of seriousness

“A pros and cons list?” You ask

“Yeah. Just write out everything you feel for your boyfriend, then everything you feel for Bakugou and make a list of what the pros and cons are for dating each boy. At the end if you’re still confused, you might just have to suck it up and make a choice. They’re not gonna wait forever and you can’t really make them,” Mina says

“You’re so right, Mina”

When you get to your dorm after classes, you sit down at you desk and take out a notepad. You start to write how you feel about Bakugou and your boyfriend, but write them as if you’re writing a letter and you just let everything out.

Once finished, you start on the pros and cons list for them.

At the end, you’re no longer confused. In fact you feel like a weight has been lifted. Emphasis on A WEIGHT. There were other things you had to do before everything goes back to “normal”

“Hey...Can we meet...”

“Sure...I’ll come to you. See you soon”

Once you all get back from the trip, you drop your luggage off at your dorm and decide to take a trip to your boyfriend’s house since you got back pretty early in the day.

When you finally reach, you ring the doorbell.

You wait a couple seconds before someone answers.

“Y/N?!” your boyfriend asks surprised

“Hey,” you say smiling,“I figured I would come surprise you since we came back from our trip!”

“I’m definitely surprised,” he says

“Can I come in then since the first phase of my mission is complete,” you ask

“Yeah, sure...sorry” he says nervously

He unlocks the gate and opens the house door for you.

When you enter, you see a pair of shoes there that you’ve never seen before.

“Oh you have company,” you ask, taking off your shoes and putting on a pair of slippers you left over there

“Heyyyy, you’re missing the movie! What’s taking so long out the-oh! Who’s this babe?” the girl asks

She was stunningly beautiful and seemed really nice.

“She’s an old friend from middle school. She was just stopping by since we haven’t seen each other in a while,” he says, blatantly lying

‘She’s an old friend,’ just kept circulating in your head, cutting deeper and deeper each time

“Okay, well I’ll leave you both to it then,” she says,stepping down to put her shoes on

“I’ll call you when I get home,” she says to your boyfriend and kisses him on his lips, to which he responds by kissing back

“It was nice to meet you...”

“Y/N,” you say,“but it’s not really worth remembering. I won’t be here much longer,” you say, the words stinging as they came off your tongue

After she walks out, you slap your boyfriend

“So this is what you have been doing. This is why you give me one word answers or just ignore me completely. Ya know I’ll give it to you...she really is beautiful. Gorgeous even...I wish you two happiness. I really do,” you say, trying to fight to tears but they just keep coming

“Y/N.. I didn’t mean-“

“Didn’t mean what? To cheat on me? You can save that sorry ass excuse or whatever “apology” you think would be acceptable. You told her I’m a friend, but you’re wrong. I’m nothing to you and you’re dead to me,” you say turning around to leave

“Oh,by the way, act like you never fucking knew me. We’re done.”

With that you walk out with your slippers on your feet and shoes in hand. As you’re walking back to the bus, you see, your now ex boyfriend’s, current girlfriend.

You try to walk past her, but she recognizes you.

“Hey Y/N, long time, no se-” she stops when she sees you’re crying

“Are you alright?” She asks, genuinely concerned

“I’m not just a friend,” you say quiet and your voice cracking really bad

“’Scuse me,” she asks, not quite hearing you

“I’m not.just.a friend. He lied to you and he lied to me. You seem like a sweet girl and you’re stunning, so I see why he would pick you over me and you seem nice enough. You don’t deserve to be treated like this. You deserve better. I deserve better,” you say adding emphasis on I

“My bus is here. Have a good rest of your evening,” you say getting on

You cry the rest of the way to UA.

Once you arrive, you head straight to the dorms. On the way to your room, you bump into someone and don’t look up to see who it is. You apologize for bumping into them and keep on going.

You throw down your shoes and slowly crawl into bed, pulling the covers over your head

Soon there’s a soft knock on your door.

“Go away,” you say softly

“Y/n...it’s me,” the familiar voice says

You get out of bed and make your way to the door, pausing before you decide to open it.

“You okay,” Kirishima asks softly

“He cheated on me...” you say, tears welling up again

He pulled you into a hug and held you tight.

“Whatever you have to let out, just let it out. Cry all you want. I’ll be right here. Even if my shirt gets soaked, I won’t pull away. I’m here y/n”

You let him fully enter the room, still hugging and close the door behind him. You guide him to your bed and both lay down, him still holding you against his chest.

“You wanna know what makes this worse...he kissed her right in front of me. Do you believe that? Even said I was just an old friend. We dated for 2 years! How could he be so cold?...It didn’t help that she was so beautiful either...She looked like an idol. I see why he would wanna be with her over me. I’m just regular.”

“Y/n, you are the most beautiful and amazing person I have ever met. I see other girls and not one of them outshines how fucking beautiful you are. I don’t even think the word beautiful is enough to describe you. You’re perfect. Don’t let what this guy did ruin you. You deserve much better and you were way out of his league anyways.”

“Thanks, Kiri,” you say into his chest

It was silent for a while. Kirishima just stroked your hair or rubbed your back in small circles in efforts to console you.

You started to stir in his arms because you wanted to sit up. He unwrapped them, so that you could get up and you wiped your face. You headed to the bathroom and rinsed your face with some water to calm the puffiness from your crying.

When you re-enter, Kirishima is awake and leaning his back on your head board.

You join him on the bed and he moves over to give you more space. You lay your head on his shoulder and he starts massaging your temples.

“Kiri,” you start

“Hmm,” he answers

You sit up and turn to face him.

“Can I try something?”

“Sure. What do you wanna try?”

“Don’t freak out, okay?”

You move in closer until your lips are only a few centimeters apart

“Y/n...are you sure?”

You look in his eyes and see he’s genuinely concerned.

“I don’t want to take advantage of you when you’re emotional and I don’t want you to make a mistake you’ll regret because of how you’re feeling right now. I’ve dreamt of this day for so long and-”

“Wait...what do you mean you’ve dreamt of this day for so long” you ask confused

“I really like you, y/n. I’ve never really felt this way about anyone, but I’ll try my best to tell you. From the day I met you, I’ve had the BIGGEST crush on you. You’re all I think about when I’m alone. If I’m not next to you, I think about you and what you could be doing and-“

You cut him off by crashing your lips together.

He’s surprised, but soon accepts it.

“Wait,” he says pulling away,“as much as I want this to continue, you just found out you were cheated on. I want you to be sure about your feelings and you should sort that out. I’m not leaving. I’m never leaving you, but you should think about if this is what you want.”

“You’re right. The last thing I would EVER want to do is hurt you and...no you’re absolutely right,” you say

It’s quiet between the both of you now until he finally speaks up.

“I can go if this is too awkward,” he says getting up from the bed

You grab his hand and look up at him with pleading eyes

“Stay...please. I don’t wanna be alone right now and you’re my best friend and the only person I want with me.”

He agrees and takes a spot on the floor right next to your bed.

ok i have to submit this because it’s just TEW much to explain otherwise. like i said i stan them both so i been here for it all and know ALL the tea. i’ll give you the rundown of their relationship and then the drama that went down when she was dating jacob. there’s a whole tumblr timeline spanning years you can google if you’re interested in seeing it in detail but i’ll give you the basics. this is going to be a literal dissertation sorry in advance but i feel responsible for letting the general public know about the tomdaya agenda since i know so much

so they started dating in like aug/sept 2016 right after they finished filming homecoming. he went to canada right after to film another movie and during the course of filming she went to visit him and he flew to la to visit her, this is when people started getting sus. when he finished filming this movie he made an ig story about how he was going home to london to be with his family and spend the holidays with them, except he lied because he flew to la to see z and spend thanksgiving with her and her family lmao (he actually spent thanksgiving with her family 3 years in a row 2016-2018….more on that later tho 👀) her cousin exposed them when he posted a video on thanksgiving at her house and you could see her and tom cuddling on the couch. so everyone was like they’re 100% dating. like i said he was always flying to see her, he was going to workout classes with her mom and shit, he always stayed at her house in la (there’s multiple sets of photos of him outside her house with luggage). another thing that convinced people was sometime in early 2017 she made a whole snapchat story about how she was super sick and overworked and then after that accidentally posted a snap to her story that said “your sick girlfriend really loves you”. she deleted it quickly because it was obviously an accident and wasn’t meant to be public but people got screenshots. tom was also in nyc visiting z when she was filming the greatest showman and told a fan he met that he was in town visiting his girlfriend because he dumb.

so at this point we KNOW they’re dating. zendaya is notorious for being extremely private with relationships, the guy she dated before tom she was with for 4 years and called him her best friend all along. she didn’t admit they actually had dated until after they broke up bc he cheated on her. so her being so private with tom and hiding it was expected. all this same shit goes on for the next nearly three years, they’re doing long distance but he flies to see her at least once a month sometimes more, they spend time with each others families, visit each other on set, etc.

so this is where it gets interesting. tom is photographed on the euphoria set during a night shoot in like early may 2019. this is apparently right around the time they break up. tom’s best friend tuwaine was dating this girl audrey and when they broke up she started spilling tea on tomdaya (tom unfollowed her after this so it was def true). she said they broke up in may because they were fighting more due to long distance AND tom was tired of being so private, he didn’t want to be public but was over being so secretive and wanted to be a little more lax but she wasn’t comfortable with that. they decided to stay friends. the far from home press tour was in june and they were clearly still super close friends, nobody could even tell they were broken up cause they were so chummy (looking back now it’s more obvious cause tom was saying shit about his love life being a disappointment and stuff). they go their separate ways after the premiere but stay friends and continue to interact on social media, even months after the breakup tom met a girl at a con dressed like mj and asked if he could take a photo with her to send to zendaya so they were def still talking and stuff

fast forward to feb 2020. z is dating jacob and they’re being papped like every single day in nyc. pictures come out of them kissing out in the open in nyc. as a fan of z this was VERY weird to me because she’s always so private, but i was like maybe she’s trying something new because being so private caused the downfall with tom. BUT then she started DMing her fan accounts on twitter and ig asking them to take the kissing photos down (so idk what happened, she had to knew they were being papped but maybe she had second thoughts and regretted it)…. her fan accounts do delete the photos, but it’s too late. everyone has already seen them including tom, who is in the middle of a self-proclaimed instagram break. the day after the kissing photos came out, he goes back on ig and unfollowed two of z’s best friends, one being her assistant and basically brother darnell who tom was also good friends with. he posts a photo on his story of him drinking and puts emojis over his eyes and said something like “back for a minute, now i’m gone again.” he was going through it lmao so he literally went onto ig to be petty and unfollow people close to z because he was mad she was kissing her bf of a few months in public when they were together for nearly three years. and obviously he couldn’t unfollow her so he did the next best thing, and fans obviously took notice. a week later he followed darnell back cause i guess he realized how bad it looked but the damage was already done. tom and z from then on do not interact or acknowledge each other for the next SIX MONTHS. idk if they fought or if she was mad he unfollowed darnell or what. but it was MESSY.

a month later tom starts dating this girl nadia, she moves into his house a few weeks into dating for quarantine. they date throughout those lockdown months. z breaks up with jacob sometime in june. she gets nominated for the emmy at the end of july, and days after she gets nominated her and tom start liking all of each others photos again. the assumption is he reached out to congratulate her and they made up. a few days after they start interacting again, tom posts a photo of his girlfriend on ig, and z likes it. tom and nadia break up like a week later 💀 he was filming uncharted in berlin at this point, him and z continue to interact, he finishes uncharted and flies right to atlanta to start filming spider-man. they’re still in atlanta now and we know they hang out all the time, but a lot of people think they’re back together because they’ve done some very 👀 things. her mom came to atlanta for thanksgiving and you guessed it… tom spent it with them (which we only know cause the celeb chef who cooked for them posted on his story that he made thanksgiving dinner for zendaya and tom holland. he then deleted and deactivated cause he realized he fucked up lmao). they started interacting with each other’s families and friends again. hunter (jules from euphoria) who is z’s best friend drove to atlanta to see her and her and tom followed each other. tom is very selective of who he follows and doesn’t even follow a lot of his costars so people were shook by this, especially because him and hunter met multiple times before but never followed each other. i have no idea if they’re back together, at the very least they’re good friends again, but i wouldn’t be surprised at all if they were. we’ll see what happens when they finish filming 👀👀👀 lmk your thoughts, questions, concerns etc.

"Ughhh how much more fucking annoying can you get?" You think to yourself. It was 12:03 pm, and Connie won't stop texting you. Every since break started all you have been doing, is staying home, watching Netflix, getting high as fuck, eat, then fall asleep. (As you should be). Your roommate was not home yet since last night when she said she was going to a "get-together" with some friends, and Connie wouldn't stop texting you about the party he went to last night. You stated coldly to her flicking off excess ashes from you blunt. "Nooo-noooooooo don't do that, fine I'll leave you aloneeee!" She said in a whiny tone, as you heard her stumble off to her room and slam the door shut.

"Just when I thought I was going to get some peace and quiet" you said to yourself rolling your eyes. You picked up your phone and FaceTimed Connie, ready to chew him out for waking you up. As the line trilled you turned on your shower to wait for the the hit water to come. "YOOOOO Y/N! Why didn't you answer my texts??" Connie shouted through the phone causing you to lower your volume. "Because I was fucking asleep jackass and you woke me up-" "Why are your eyes so red?" Connie interrupted you, "I swear imma kill that little mother fucker one day" you thought to yourself, clearly irritated. "Why is it any if your business?" You responded back to Connie. "Because I'm your best friendddd" he replied back in a singy-songey voice. "How many times have I told you to lay off the weed?" Connie asked in a matter of fact tone. "Clearly not enough" you said back in a bratty attitude ,blowing smoke straight to the camera. "Yooo pass me some" Connie joked with you , " I'm too broke to buy any weed since I'm too busy buying Sasha food" he said with a pouty expression. "If you want to find someone like that then you should go to more parties, they're are plenty of guys who would want to do that for you, I haven't seen one guy who hasn't wanted you whenever we go out." Connie said. "Hmmm maybe I will.." you said to Connie. You could see his whole face light up "WAIT ARE YOU FRL? YOU'LL ACTUALLY COME TO A PARTY?!" Connie asked excitedly. "Yeah sure why not, it's just like I have anything better to do anyways" you shrugged. " Yeh for real, your such a homebody" Connie joked with you. "Yeah I really am- OH SHIT MY SHOWER I GOT TO GO CONNIE BYEEEE" you ended the phone and hopped right in. The comforting feeling of the warm water hitting your bare back made you feel like you never wanted to leave. You washed you hair and body, shaved your legs, and exfoliated your skin. As you got out of the shower you wrapped your towel around you realizing your didn't bring clothes into the bathroom and you have to go to your room. You took a bra and panties set you bought from VS and put it on. You put lotion in your skin and did your facial routine, you never needed much makeup anyway since you were natural beauty, but you never admitted it. You threw on a pair of tight black sports shorts and a mesh crop top to go with it. You snapped a mirror pic making sure to get all of your curves into the photo and sent it as you streaks for the day. "Wow I can't believe I'm going to go to a party after so many months..." you thought to yourself.

when he walked through the door, your dog, finneas, ran up to yangyang and was all happy like dogs are and yangyang was happy too!! and he could smell the dinner that was ready but you weren’t in the living room like you normally were and instead,, yangyang heard your proper, real, ugly laugh coming from the bedroom and he ran over and was like ‘i am home!!!’

and you were laying on the bed, practically in tears and he was like ‘what’s so funny😂😂’ cause he’s like that. and you were like ROLLING AROUND but when yangyang got over to you,, it was a tiktok of someone reacting to a comment that said ‘hi peepeehead’ but you know? he had to laugh because that shit was making you SCREAM and that alone was funny to him

and he just couldnt help but wonder how much more joy you’d bring him,, and he was not about to be left with any regrets😤,, took his boys and bought himself a ring the next week

It’s dark inside, he sees nothing but some moon light falling through the hangings at the window. He’s tied up on the beds. It hurts on his wrists, but what could he do? He get used to it. And he knows, the next customer awaits. The next person without any respect for him, an eleven years old boy. The next old man who treats him like a toy.

A s*x toy.

The boy named Aslan Jade Callenreese, was caught up to work in this club. It’s nothing what he’s wished for, but that’s the situation now. Maybe he get payed, or he could get a privilege to take personal audience by Mafia boss Dino Golzine, that old man already has a special interest for the blonde young boy. But it’s nothing to hope for.

The door just creaks, a dark shadowed man get in and in the same second, Aslans breath set out. He has incredible fear, he doesn’t know what this man will do to him. Will he take photos? Will he humble him, hurt him? Or will he just rape him? Whatever follows, Aslan knows how much it will hurt him, physically and at least mentally. He trembles like aspen leaves – he wanted to scream like always – but he can’t make any sound. His voice subsided…

The powered shadow, his upper body already naked, grabs his neck heedlessly. Aslan couldn’t scream and now he gasps. It’s so horrible. So endless horrible feeling. He wants to escape, but now the man has him in his grasp.

The boy just need to endure, but for what? Not any longer and the corrupted pervert will steal his whole body again.

“Ash!”

All what he see is entirely shadowed. What happened? And what’s the distant voice he just heard?

“Ash, wake up!”

Affectionately he punches the air before him. What, for Gods sake, happened? Where is the man and why he lies suddenly on a hard wooden floor? Who said this?

Still trembling and sweating, he straights up. Opens his eyes which were feeling blind before. And while he does, he looks in the face of a guy with purple hair, looks like a mohican. His sight is quite misty and he’s feeling so dizzy.

Was it just another of his horrible nightmares…?

“Nah, finally….you trembled and I thought you forget to breathe, … boss” the other guy said.

Aslan slowly comes back to his senses. It really was a dream. He is 17 year old by now, and well known as Ash Lynx, the ruthless and charismatic gang leader. He finds himself in the trailer, realizing they’re on the road trip now. The other guy is named Shorter, he is one of the most loyal guys for Ash, he is really a friend for him. Not many people have the courage to wake the blond gang leader, who always feel ‘attacked’ in the mornings, so the instincts let him kick or punch something – in this case, it was just the air.

Ash, who has a slight headache, sighed a bit. “Nah it’s all ok” he just whispered. “Just a bit warm, nothing more”

Shorter looks a bit irritated to the blonde, but like every time he accepts what his ‘boss’ said. It’s like always – Ash doesn’t want to remember his nightmares more than he has to, so he concealed the truth.

It’s 11 am, and as he comes out of the car, he looks at a beautiful, green field. The sun shines, Birds are chirping and nearly, some people sit by the camping table – Ashs mates who joined him on this trip.

It’s an unusual sight this ‘morning’. So peaceful, full of nature – so totally unusual for Ash, who is used to look at the sordid buildings and places in New York. Who is used to live in slums..

Shorter ran to the table, besides a japanese young boy, who instantly looks to Ash. This innocent face left a warm feeling on Ashs trembling body. It’s Eiji, he came into his life like… by accident, and without knowing anything, he is really involved in his whole mission – to solve the mystery around ‘Banana Fish’, to take revenge on the corruption, the mafia – who destroys the whole life Ash had. They’re on the way to Ashs home town, Cape Cod, for a few days now and their goal is not far away any more.

Ash sits down near Eiji and Shorter, besides them on another table two adults have their breakfast – already finished. Max and Ibe, who support him, but Ash feels that they have some kind of own business. As long as they doesn’t try to betray him, or changes sides, he is thankful for having them, and that’s something he think about the fewest adult men.

“Ash, your hair…. you’re really not a morning person” Eiji giggles. But he refuses to touch the blonde hair, he just look with these sparkling, brown eyes at him. Ashs heart beats a bit faster while looking at it. Then he sighed again. What a bad joke.

But he’s right in some point. He is always so dizzy in the mornings, while he usually stays awake in the night very long, he gets up very late in the mornings. He loves the night – and hates it at the same point for several reasons.

He straightens his fluffy, blond hair and Eiji puts a tiny bread in his direction. “Eat something. We still need to travel a bit and … yeah, it’s nice to gain enough energy”

“Yes mom...” Ash answers annoyed, bites into the bread with some cheese. Shorter laughs and after all, he tells another bad joke. But this is .. a treasure? The chinese gang member is so uplighten sometimes for Ash, and so loyal. A treasure Ash never wants to lose.

Looking at Eiji again, who is smiling cause of Shorters joke, brings Ash a warm feeling again.

It’s so calming, these days with people around him, who doesn’t use him as an object, who doesn’t abuse him or hurt him in any way. Here, he has buddies around him. People who will help him, but Ash still has a huge distrust in the situation.

It’s like always. He used to feel in danger and he watches out subconsciously. Scanning the surroundings for abnormalities. Suddenly, the dream came across his mind again and he trembles a bit without noticing.

„Ash..“ Eiji looks at him, grabbing him gently on his shoulder. But Ash trembles even more.

„Boss… you‘re acting weird today..“ Shorter mentions. „What happened?“

Ash knows it very well, but the reminiscences just thrown away the warm feelings he had towards Eiji for a few seconds. He can‘t even gulp his bread, he just put it down.

It haunts him. His past. The nightmare wasn‘t just a dream, it was a reminiscence from his past, a situation what haunts him so often, but he usually hides his bad feelings and the fear he has because of this. So many ‚monsters‘ abused him in childhood, so many old men hurt him… Neither Shorter nor Eiji know about the details, Ash never talk much about himself. He hides his feelings so often…

“It’s nothing… I feel we could be attacked. By Dinos men. It’s those creep feeling like I have the whole time. So what?” Ash says with an annoyed voice. Half lying. Eiji seems to notice this, but he doesn’t say something. He looked to Ash with a worried face.

While Shorter laughs again and wants to make clear that all will be okay – whereever he took this optimism – Ash can’t stop thinking about his dream. But this chinese guy just wanted to distract him. Like everytime. A treasure, you can’t say it to often.

“We have at least an hour and then we need to move forward. There are just a few kilometres.” Max says after some time. “Here, look at this place, have fun if you can, kids. We need to repair something”

It sounds so careless, but in reality, there weren’t any enemies shown up.

“You two”

Shorter builds himself up like he has enough of Ashs lethargy this day.

Eijis face blushed a bit. “I’m going to help the old man, but you two, YOU really need to talk.”

He shouts at Ash, who slowly looked up. He has this analyzing facial expression like he repressed any feelings again, just to refine some plan. So typical.

“You talk to much” Ash rolls his eyes, stand up and take a few steps to the field. Dangerous beauty here.

Shorter goes back to the elders and like he said, he let Ash a bit lone time with Eiji.

A strange feeling of peace Ash doesn’t know awaits before his eyes. The river, the calm sounds of nature, the pleasant wind blows through his hair. He sits down, Eiji follows him besides.

“Ash…” the Japanese begins softly.

“I… don’t want to be here… I don’t want to go to the place I should call ‘home’ … But like always, I have to...” Ash whispers with a melancholic voice. His heart beats a bit faster. Eiji is worried. “What happened? Something about your family…?

Ash… through all the action we’ve gone so far… like, we protected each other without knowing each other so well. I want to know more about you, Ash. I’m feeling that… you hide something very important”

This boy has amazing senses. How does he feel this? The blonde looks to Eiji, careful and melancholic.

Why does he ask something like this? Ash doesn’t deserve such care and real interest from a person and not at least from a guy like Eiji? Ash ask to himself. So much people used him, but what will Eiji do? Will he use him with knowing intimidate information, too?

It feels so strange. But Ash really want to share some of his haunting thoughts. He really wish for someone who listen to him. Who cares for him...

“I… I feel strange”

Ash breathes heavily. “I had a nightmare last night.”

It’s totally not easy to him to put this inner panicking, terrifying feeling in the right words. Funny thing on that… Ash has incredible intellectual skills, solving math formulas or complex strategies are some easy doing for him, but talking or describing own feelings challenges him a lot. Eiji notices how hard he searches for the right words.

“It’s ok, Ash. Calm down. This was just a dream” the Japanese said, smiles and lean back.

“No… Eiji…” The gang leader looks back to Eiji. “It wasn’t… I… really want to forget all of this… All the pain I had. I wanted to tell myself that I haven’t any feelings about returning home, but when I really thought about it… It’s wrong. All of my pain, all of that bullsh*t I had gone through, began there...”

Silence. Eiji seems a bit shocked.

“I… killed a person there… the first time” Ash continues, staring at his hands with an ashamed feeling. “Me and my bro, we were in… the baseball club there. Nothing… scary sounding, right? Haha” It challenges him, his feelings and everything. Eiji never saw him like this before. “The trainer… a very famous man… he was adored in the town, people looked up to him, but… he was a monster”

Ash begins to tremble again. Eiji moves a bit closer to him, but refuses to touch him. “For… him, I… I was just like a doll. A sex doll. Like a freaking stone without feelings. He raped me… he does it in… a cruel way… I felt so worthless, it hurts so much but this a**hole did it for his own”

Eiji not seems to be shocked, he really is. He didn’t expect something like this. Now he put his arm, very gently on Ashs shoulder, hoping he won’t slapping him away, but the blonde doesn’t. He swallows all the tears piling up in his eyes. “Ash...”

“I killed him… with the gun from my father… I was so filled with angst and hatred that day that I couldn’t stand it anymore… M-My body… felt like a machine… I… I realized later what I… a freaking kid, did!!”

He looks to Eiji, one tear fall down. Ash finally shows some side of his own even his gang member doesn’t know.

“Ash… I didn’t expect this...”

Eiji comes a bit more closer to calm Ash down. He takes care to be soft. Ash let him.

“Are that your nightmares? Did your past haunt you in your dreams? Why… why did he, no, did they do something like this to you...”

“I… I hate… old men… my life is so wasted...”

Ash begins to cry now. Eiji notices what kind of person Ash really is. His appearance as the cruel and ruthless gang leader who is feared by so many guys, is just a role he plays. But not the Ash behind the role, this is like another person..

a kindhearted, careful person.

Eiji blushes a bit apparently.

“Ash… I want to… say something to you” Eiji begins after a few minutes. He calmed Ash down a bit. “It may sounds a bit funny… but I want to clarify something.

I don’t fear you. I don’t know how exactly to say this. Since I meet you for the first time in the bar… I felt something … beautiful. Like I never felt before.”

He waits for the reaction, but Ash just sits there, swallowing, and a bit embarrassed.

Then he takes him softly, lays his arms around and gives him a gentle hug. “You, Ash… your life isn’t wasted. You are a wonderful person. I mean… everybody wishes a life without danger and violence. And I ever felt that! Think about that… there will always be someone who understand you. There will always be a reason to live on… to move on from the devils from the past…”

The wind blows.

It’s so peaceful.

Like a… beautiful dream.

Ash, who never heard words like this before, is totally overwhelmed, he still cries, but now more sentimental. He slowly hugs Eiji back. He feel how the bad thoughts slowly disappeared. He feels how his heart beats up. Eiji gives him warmth. Soulbalm. Everything.

Is this happiness?

“When… When I came here to America, I just wanted to distract from my own dark thoughts. My life also was turned down in a bad way… not to compare to yours, right. But I used to be a pole vaulter. This sport gave me something. You remember, Ash? When I jumped over the wall to escape, to safe you?” Ash certainly remembers. It really impressed him. This courage of this boy. He didn’t expect that in the situation, but it was an amazing step… his sore eyes wides a bit. The next heartbeat.

“I said, I can’t jump anymore. It was an injury and I became very insecure later. I never got back to my best form…

So I… had to give up. So I fell into a depressive phase. My life felt so wasted… So… I know this feeling very well, huh?” Eiji laughs embarrassed.

“What I really wanted to say...”

Eiji looks in Ashs beautiful, emotional overwhelmed eyes. He looks so incredibly beautiful. And authentic. Real authentic. This. This is the real Ash.

“I.. I would do everything for you, Ash! I… have strong feelings for you…

I love you.

You as the warmhearted person, that you are. I really love you. I never want to leave you, Ash!”

Those words hit Ash right in his heart. It beats faster than ever. But… it’s not fear or ache. It is an icredible filling feeling of love inside him. It makes him so happy!

He begins to cry again, overwhelmed of these words.

Softly he press Eiji more to him. So their heartbeat unites.

Some moments later, his and Eijis lips touches. What a magical, emotional, happy moment.

It’s not their first kiss. But the most beautiful, unforgettable moment in their lifes.

Ash knows, whatever will happen when he returns to his physical hometown. His real home is where his heart is. Where his soul is.

Vent about my toxic mom

I need to say something that is on my mind a lot. Today is worse than normal and I need to vent.

I have a toxic mom. She had a toxic mom. And my grandma had a toxic mom and/or dad. I am fighting so fucking hard to never be a toxic mom to my daughters.

I am recently really gettinng it under my skin that my mom doesn't seem to want me to a grown-up.

When I started my journey to break free from her as a 18-19 year-old I did so by starting to dress in black clothes -mainly skirts and dresses and band shirts and collars with spikes on and black nail polish. My mom was so worried that I'd be looked at and talked bad to because I would no longer wear oversized t-shirts and denim pants to hide my big butt.

But actually, I have gotten so many nice reactions about how I looked. And whenever I get my body back after I'm done breastfeeding my next baby, I'm gonna go and dress in my old black clothes again and wear my nail polish.

When I was ca 20 years old I moved to a new city and rried to find a job. I was so sad and frustrated that I couldn't find anything so I (stupidly) called my mom. She told me (and I kid you not!) that I should stop looking for a job because I was not ready for the job market. So I stayed on welfare and when I could, I applied for uni and started my 10 years of studying. After that I've been unemployed non-stop (so, for 7 years).

But it seems that I might have a job when my maternity leave is over. The owner of Mjødladen called me a few weeks back and asked me if I was still looking for a job. I had applied for a job at his company a year ago and he still remembered me. I told him that I was pregnant and he just said "ok! Call me when the maternity leave is over and we'll figure something out!". I have not told my mom about this because I just know she'd somehow make me feel insecure or bad about the whole thing.

In early June I got my first driving license. At the age of 37. And my anxiety and stress made it so damn difficult for me to go through with it. But I passed the driving test in one go and I am so proud of that. Even after I got the license I was (am) still nervous about driving. I'm old enough to know about all the things that could go wrong and how much injury and death a car accident can cause. It took me over a month to dare trying driving alone. And I'm only now slowly becoming friends with the clutch on my bf's car.

I told my mom that I was to drive the girls to day care/kindergarten by myself this week and that I was a bit nervous about it. Such a wrong move by me! She called me today to ask if I had been driving the girls today also and I replied with "yes. And I will do so tomorrow again and also pick up H from work". Her reply was a very doubtful "can you do that?". Of course I fucking can!!!!

I have been driving the girls every morning this week and have collected H different places in the town ofnthe day care and kindergarten. Yes, I am not a very good driver yet, but I am learning and I am getting less nervous about it every time. But I have not killed anybody or even scratched the car.

She also seems very doubtful about my skills as a mom, and me and H's skills as parents in general. She has been expressing extreme worry over the smallest things. When my oldest fell and scratched her nose my mom was certain that she had pushed the nose bone up into the brain. When any of the girls were little babies and they sneezed she would ask me, with no hesitation, if the girl was allergic or had the cold or had a respiratory trackt infection of some kind. (No mom. Babies sneeze every now and then. Just like you do. And nothing is wrong with that!). When my oldest got her first flower from a boy my mom's reaction was not about how cute it was. Her reaction was to mention that the flower could be poisonous -if we were aware of that?. When H is playing wild with the girls (throwing them into the air and catching them or wrestling them on the floor) my mom looks like she's looking at something horrible and awful.

The llast time she visited she told me that her and her husband would never ever have bought a house like H and I did last year with "all the flaws and things you need to fix". But it's literally just small things we need to take care of. Like getting a new door and a new heating system. My mom told me today that she is working on the initial papers to fix some illegal stuff on their property (she and her husband moved to a new house in January) and they also recently got a new heating system. It's as if our house is just not good enough compared to their house that has some pretty serious (legal) issues.

I just want her to fucking leave me alone if she can't behave better. I tried so many times to explain to her that her behaviour is toxic to me. And every time she twisted my words and tried to make me feel guilty about it all. "It was you yourself that said...", "then why did you do this and that?", "well, I just don't think you made a wise choice when you...". Etc etc.

I am less than a month until the EDD of my 3rd and last baby. And my two older girls love my mom. I feel it would be wrong of me to take a grandparent from them. But I also think that I need to be a better mom for my kids and thus make some decisions about which ppl I want in my life. It's so easy for me to tell others to cut all contact with one of their parents. But myself? I am so insecure about it and I feel so weak for not just doing it.

In reality, though, I want to block her number on my phone and block her on facebook. And block her on hangouts (where we have video calls between her and my kids). I feel like such an a-hole for wishing that my girls will soon realize how bad my mom is making me feel so they will stop being interested in having contact with her.

Also, I'd just wish that she'd get some friends so (hopefully) I wouldn't be the target of all her ridiculous messages and pictures. Yesterday she sent me a video of a tree slowly swaying in the wind with a capture about how fascinating it was when the wind is blowing hard in a tree. And then... it was a video with no sound of the wind in said tree. She also recently sent me photos of a new kitchen utensil she bought. And she told me the other day that they finally have hot water again after a week's time without.

If anybody has some good advice as to how to cut the contact to my mom in the most gentle way, please let me know!

To the Hiddleswifters and The Realists

I have a story to tell.

Way back when, in the year 2004 (I seriously can’t believe it has been 13 years), a little movie was made/released. This movie was titled The Phantom of the Opera. I was, and still am, a huge Phan. But despite some questionable singing and perhaps the worst written/delivered line ever spoken on screen*, I fell in love with it. I dragged anyone I could to go see it with me, again and again. One of the reasons for it was the raw sexual chemistry between Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum. She was 17 at the time of filming, he was 34(?) I think. Clearly taboo, but you could feel it on screen, despite the story they were supposed to be portraying. It translated off-screen, they went on costar dates during filming and ramped up especially when they began promo for the movie and Emmy was then 18.

Well, sometime between the film wrapping and the release, Gerry joined Emmy at her Day After Tomorrow premiere. Coupled with that, the movie, and watching them play around with each other during the press tour for PotO, my first ever OTP (and RPF) ship was born. A group of like-minded fans gathered together on Livejournal. Fuck, I created and modded that community. We shared facts and fit them to our narrative, we took scant pieces of “evidence” and wrapped it into the narrative, and they became the celebrity couple “Gemmy”. We looked at photos of them and extrapolated what we wanted from them. We were sure they were in love. We took coincidences and made up our own alternative facts—some of us really wanting to Believe, while others, of course, did it only for fun. We wrote fic, had discussions, ran contests, had long, drawn out posts of evidentiary proof. Of course, we didn’t badger Outside People about it, we stayed in our lane, and went along our merry way having fun with it. I’m sure there were people out there that thought we were loonies (okay, maybe I am sometimes), but because we didn’t badger people, everyone went on and had a fun time.

Little by little, years went on and the fervor died off. There just weren’t enough coincidences to put them together and we went on to newer and better things, even though there was a time—about two years—that we were 100% convinced they were hiding something in secret. I, ultimately, found out that Emmy had actually married her “supposed” boyfriend during that time, which resulted in a very short marriage and divorce. But Gerry was single-ish during the time, and Emmy didn’t go out with her beard (the bf). I mean, it all fit together. A shippers heaven!

Maybe they did, maybe they didn’t. Maybe they had a torrid few days together, and it lingered on. Who knows. The point is, I met a lot of amazing people during my time being silly in love with Gemmy. Some of them, I still correspond with today. Heck, my best friend @cinderella1181 , going on 13 years now, came into my life because of that goddamn ship. We live together now, and fangirl together about so many things, and fight and argue, but I love her as though she were a blood sister.

My reason for writing all this, I guess, is to give another point of view about the Hiddleswift shippers who love Tom and Tay together, and then the “toxics,” as they’ve been called, who are constantly trying to convince them that they’re wrong. Both sides of the argument have been more than a little toxic to each other, and it keeps going on and on, and frankly, I’m getting really pissed seeing it on my dash all the time. Continuing to bullshit about other people—real living, breathing people—just creates more hate and more venom... when, in the long run, it DOESN’T FUCKING MATTER if they love Hiddleswift or hate it. You, too, can ignore it. Be the adult. Don’t respond. Move on. Let them have their fantasies. Maybe they need it in their life right now. Maybe it gives them joy to think about T and T together and not one of us has any right to try to diminish that.

Sometimes I think we forget that behind the computer screen, on the other end of the keyboard, is a human being. And they, too, can be hurt. And it is our natural response to defend ourselves. Being a bully and continuing to badger people for what they want to (harmlessly) believe is wrong. In fact, you’re more likely to make them more passionate about what they’re really trying to defend and confirmation biases start happening and all that shit. Are some people batshit insane? Yes. But that gives you (shippers or The Realists) absolutely no right to shit on their parade unless they are harming other people.

Some TL;DR points for those who skipped all that:

1. There is nothing wrong with the Hiddleswift shippers doing what they’re doing. Let them have fun. (Caveat: I don’t agree with tracking planes and such. That is a little much.)

2. It is not okay for Hiddleswifters or The Realists (aka Toxics) to go onto each other’s blogs and spread hate about each other.

3. It is NOT okay to find one lightning rod person in the fandom and spend all your time trying to ��expose the truth” about them and their relationships, marriages, friendships, etc. We get it, you don’t like them, doesn’t give you right to gossip or spread rumors about them.

4. As Tom and Taylor continue to move on in their life, so too will all of us. Is it really worth all this aggravation? Go outside, breathe in the fresh air, feel the sun on your face.

5. Stay in your own fucking lane.

6. There is no one person or one particular group who is toxic. This infighting is what is Toxic. It has made the whole fucking fandom TOXIC. We are all to blame for it.

Now, do I understand that the reason for a lot of this is dislike of Taylor? Of the way Tom acted during and after the whole ordeal? Yea, I get that. I even support healthy conversation about such things, and in fact follow a few blogs who allow the healthy conversation with a heaping dose of sarcasm (Petty Day was pretty funny, and the “More Chemistry Than” series was hilarious). No, I don’t follow shipper blogs, because I do not, personally, get the ship. And you know what? That’s cool. They’re having fun and hurting no one. The Realists are having fun with their conversations, too. My problem is with the people who pick on other people in the fandom, or claim that they are right to the exclusion of everyone else’s right to have an opinion, and go on blogs with opposing POVs and demand that they change their mind. Sometimes, we just have to move on from an argument, because it will never end and it will only cause deeper rifts. That’s the mark of being an adult.

I guess what I’m saying is: why can’t we all just have fun? Why do we have to divide ourselves into groups? We might not agree on everything, but that makes none of us bad people.

*sigh*

I know this is long, and I’ve stayed quiet for a long time—since August last year—but I can’t do it anymore. Please, my friends, try to be happy. Be good to others.

Thank you 2011 for being one of the best years of my life. After 14 long years, Tom and I end up loving each other. Who would have thought that he’s going to be my husband? Seriously! LOL! Cliché but true, no one really knows what the future holds. I want to thank you, my dear 2011 for giving me lots of memories. You started so well by finally giving me a lovelife after how many lonely years haha! And not just that, I had the best of both worlds! I was given an opportunity to work in our Sales department and earn more hehe. My lil sister and I were able to travel to a foreign land together - HK. I was given a chance to visit my hometown, Manila. I was so happy to see my family and friends once again. Home will always be home.

When I came back here in Canada, I had a fun Ontario experience with friends. We went to Harris Hill in Lake of the Woods. Although, my fall and winter had been pretty much all about focusing on my benchmarks and targets, I learned to save up! Haha! I used to save to travel and/or buy stuff that I want but this year, I managed to be future-wise and know my priorities. Mainly because I got engaged! I became more matured because I finally realized what I really want in life. I want to be a wife. I want to be a mom. I want to grow old beside the man I love. Everything that I am doing right now is for my future, for my family and for the future family that Tom and I will have. This year, I surpassed the quarter-year. I have never been this driven, never been this happy and I think, now, I can say that I am growing up haha! Thank you God for all the blessings especially for my sister’s second life. That accident was a miracle! With You, Lord in our lives, we can overcome anything. I am looking forward for another awesome year. I can’t wait to be Mrs. Jun Carlos Custodio!

Thank you for my family and friends all over the world who made this year a memorable one! I need to get up now and dress up to welcome the new year. And oh, Happy 75th Birthday to my lolo back in Manila. We need to be home before the party starts to Skype and celebrate with them. Haha! So bye 2011! I know 2012 will be better but I will forever cherish you.

I'm actually up in the air somewhere in the Pacific on my way to Vancouver. We left Tokyo 4 hours ago so that means I'll be stuck on this aisle seat for another 5 hours. Beside me is an old Filipino man. He's very charming (not that I have a thing for old men), he's like my lolo, a funny gentleman. He was amazed that I speak fluent Tagalog and use po at opo because he thought I was born in Canada. I just finished watching all the travel documentary flicks on my seat TV. The last one was an episode of Billy Conolly's jaunt all over Canada, from East to West coast (made me wanna do that!). He spent 10 weeks travelling from St. John's to BC, exploring some of Canada's most remote locations. The film made me appreciate my second home. I've always hated moving to Winnipeg. Not only because it's boring compare to Manila but mainly because of my family and friends back in my homeland. I didn't cry when I left Manila earlier, maybe because I didn’t look at Tom. I don’t wanna look back at him. I don’t want to see him crying. I didn’t want to face the fact that I’m leaving the man that I wanna spend the rest of my life with. I was in denial that Manila is not my home anymore. I was born and raised as a Manila Girl. I party a lot! And I mean a lot! But Manila is not just about partying or drinking. You’ll only understand the difference between fun and happiness if you try to experience Manila life.

I spent 4 days in HK and 3 weeks in P.I. minus the 3 days that I got flu and just stayed in my bed while Tom took care of me. We were together all the time. Wherever I go, he goes. We haven’t fought yet, like a real bf-gf fight, and I hope not. I didn’t get the chance to visit my bestfriend, Karen and her baby Kyzer, my RGLC family and my boyfriend’s closest friends since we were in HS. 3 weeks was not even close to enough. I wish I could stay longer. Most of the stuff that I bought was just pasalubong, failed to buy those things I need for myself. But I had the greatest time of my life. Nothing beats visiting your hometown. And of course, spending time with Tomtom is the best part! I could not ask for more. After 14 long years of knowing each other, we never imagined ending up loving each other this much. Sadly, I had to leave and he has to fly back to Singapore as well. We have to be apart for a while first to be together forever.

I never planned my future with any guy before. I didn’t even want to get married. I’ve experienced all boys’ lies you could ever imagine first hand and got hurt as fck! But I never get tired of loving again. And when this guy came into my life, everything has changed. He made all the tears, heartaches and waiting all worth it. He was God’s final gift and He wrapped him with a bow. Haha! I am truly blessed, so thankful and much loved. I’ve never been in love like this before, never ever loved someone this much before and never been loved by someone this much before. I want to marry him.

He changed my perspectives in life. He made me want to have kids, eat veggies, learn how to cook, love what I hate and most importantly, trust a guy and love without fear. He’s just amaaazing! He makes me laugh, cry, smile, frown, smug, sing, dance, dream, blush, he just knows how to make me the happiest person ever! And that makes me love him more.

One year. We have a year to prepare for our future together. He’ll come here, and that’s huge for me! Nothing’s harder than leaving your family and friends back home. I should know! But Canada is my home now and it’s the only place and the only way for us to be together. In a few hours, I’ll be home. I have a day off before going back to work. A day to overcome jetlag, pay my $$$ Rogers bill, learn changes in my department and a Skype date. But whatever! I know I can get by. I don’t see these as problems. That vacation (especially Tom) gave me a brighter outlook ahead. No bad vibes! Cheers to happiness and to the future… at my home, Canada eh!

Hello everyone! I don't have much updates (again ;p). Just 'cause my sister's 18th is finally over (pics on my FB, click Facebook up there) and now I'm getting my "me-time" back. It feels like it was just yesterday when we were planning her party and now it's all over. Stressed and drained, I am. It feels fulfilling though. My sister was so happy on her night and so as her guests. She's going to Bora this week and have a week left to spend in Manila to shop (for my stuff too)! Anyway, I'm home alone. Ok. Before I start this blog, SHUT UP PONG! Read it first. LMAO! Anyway, I woke up this morning realizing how much will I miss on my sister's 18th birthday. We've been together forever. Every single birthday she had, all the birthday parties I threw and she was actually the one who blew the candles on my 18th birthday cake. I feel so sad that I won't be able to share this moment with her. Not even dad or mom, but she understands how it is. She knows we want nothing but the best for her. We're giving her everything she deserves. She's the only reason why we're working hard here. We may miss her night but I will surely throw a party once she gets back from Manila. The feeling just got me nostalgic. The party's theme suits her best. If you know her since she was a kid, you know what I'm talking about. Look at her pic up there :)) She was very witty and "bibang-biba"! As she grew up, she became better and better. She doesn't drink/smoke. She barely go to clubs. She knows her responsibilities. She's a walking-periodic-table-of-elements. She knows what she wants and she knows how to get it. She can sing and surely is good in dancing. She says what she wants to say. She's way more than just a Facebook photo-whore. She CAN'T be friends with everyone, she will befriend you if she feels like to, but if not, she just doesn't like you at all. haha! If u love her, she'll love you more. Hate her? Hell she cares! :)) I experienced everything first hand! LOL! Sure we fought now and then but our personalities are like the Yin and the Yang. There were times that we're on opposite poles but I think for sisters, it comes naturally that you both find your equator. She is my ultimate enemy and my best-est friend at the same time. I've been working so hard lately and on my last meeting with my TS, he informed me that I'm currently ranking #1 for the entire department Isn't it awesome? I still have lates though, BUT I'm working on that! The city bus schedule sucks! I hate it! And I'll never get used to it! I have to buy a car before winter! I still have several months to save up. And speaking of saving up, I might start saving or rather TRY saving after my birthday. Yes! My birthday's coming up in 2 months. If you're in MNL, it's a long time for you but here, it's over before u even know it! But before that, of course, Reizel's debut party is knocking me out. I'm actually finishing the final plot right now so I could send it to my Tita tomorrow. FYI, it's already 4:54 am CST here. Yesterday, I slept after lunch na and I wasn't able to finish it so now I have to really wrap it up. She's leaving soon and I'm dying out of envy! LOL! Last minute preps drove me gaga (like OMGaga! - that's my fave expression lately! haha!)... but they're all set now. So yeah, that's it for the meantime. I've been so busy lately... with my sister's homecoming and at work. Barely touch my notebook. I'm uber-attached with my new BB ^_^ ...told u guys that I was planning to get Bold or Storm. So, I ended up getting a white BlackBerry Bold 9000. Touchscreens are getting boring . Posted that photo up there 'cause it looks like downtown Peg. Been such a work-a-holic! OT's and yeah, on my last evaluation, I'm ranking #1 for the whole department All the hardworks are paying off. I'll be busier until the end of next month, it's my sister's 18th (I think e'rybody knows it na anyway!) and I already have my Med Insurance. I'll get my eyes checked (I left Manila with a 20-20 vision and now FML!), teeth bleached (if necessary, braces or retainers), general medical exam (CBC again of course!) and MASSAGE!!! hehe For this week naman, I'm off tomorrow, chocolate-shopping with mom for pasalubong... and TRY to cook spaghetti haha! Sorry guys! I promised to blog yesterday but I didn't. I slept for like 15 hours! I had to rest after all the chaos of the past weeks. Well, I'm still in chaos though. But I'm starting to manage it. The mass yesterday helped me a lot in realizing which should I prioritize in my life right now. Back home, I've had the most excruciating heartbreaks. Malas! But I've realized it wasn't just because of my unlucky fate in love, it was certainly because of my decisions and actions before. I was not wise enough. I always let my heart dominates.

I didn't realize I've been here for almost a year now. Canada is truly a fast-paced place. Work, eat, sleep, mall, Church and Internet. Simple life. For months, I had liquor twice, I went out once and I haven't been to a club yet. Very far from my life back home. I miss it so much. I miss my friends and of course my family. But I chose to move here. I made that decision together with my family. Not just because of my own future, but also for my sister. I'm going back to school this fall. By then, my future starts. That means I'll be much busier. I'm still debating whether to take Pharma or CGA. Pharmacy is my sister's course, so we could share books and be cheatmates but I'm also thinking it will take me years. So I thought of taking Accounting, not only it can be my MBA but I already have knowledge and experiences on it. But that doesn't mean I don't have any on Pharma. I love Chemistry! But these are not the issues or those so-called chaos I've mentioned. Love always knocks me down whenever I'm on my best. I'm all set now and ready for my plans in life. Then someone came along. Unexpectedly. The worst part is, he is the best man I have ever met. I've never felt this crazy ever! And you know what's funny? I rejected him. Stupid much? I know!!! But I have to use my brain this time. I can't let loose right now. I am so in control of my life. I have so much responsibilities, plans, goals and dramas in my life right now. I just can't fall. I've grown up

Hi xangans! I'm sorry for not blogging these past few days. I've been so busy with work and with my new "Sunshine" . Did I just say that? Haha! Reserved the best for last. THE LAST HUG!

How do u say farewell to a person who you selflessly loved? I dont know how, although a whirlwind it was, it was the best rollercoaster ride of my life! So I just hugged him near, in that instance I had no sense of time! I just remember trying to embrace the love of my life, praying time would stop running forth, unfortunately no cooperation, the clock kept ticking! I released him but couldnt bear it, so I held him close one last time, cherishing preciously this human being that taught me to let go of my jadedness and allow myself to love. The most difficult moment was that last farewell glance, turning & walking away. Wish I could pull myself to glimpse back but I was scared I couldnt control myself and would run back, then I wouldnt be able turn my back once again. Im fulfilled with my decision to let be my emotions, to just let go, stop trying to control. No regrets. It was liberatingly freeing!

Thanx ATE... for all the night-outs, drinking sessions and melancholic songs that made me cry out really loud! It felt so good to let it all out though! and yah thanx for escorting me with all the bottles of beer even if u cant even finish a bottle! It's the effort that counts! lav ya!

Thanx RIA... for never getting tired of listening to my endless ranting! and for being my hero against Pyke! hehe! Thanx for the long hours of chikahan!

I heard the crowd clapping and cheering as I stepped on the ice. My skating friends shouted, “Go, Ace!” I tried hard not to blush, but a grin crept over my face just like it always did whenever my friends called out their support to me. I reached my starting spot on the ice and took my opening position. I hoped all the hard work and many hours of practice would help me achieve my dream to win.

My music began – a selection from the flick soundtrack of Step Up (it was the fastest routine I’ve ever danced!). Like a light stroke of a paintbrush on a canvas, my arm drew across my body, and my eyes followed out to my fingertips. I pushed off on my left foot with three powerful strokes into a Mohawk followed by a loop jump. I smiled as my blade curved a clean cut through the ice, and I held the landing, making sure all the judges could see. I pumped my legs with powerful crossovers until I was at the corner of the rink. I stretched my leg and jabbed my toe pick into the ice, which lifted me into a flip jump. Yes! I thought and gave another giant smile.

My next moves needed to match the beats of the music exactly. I did a waltz jump, with a ballet jump following. I could hear the music; I was going too fast. I did some fancy three turns so that the music would catch up. Now! Tinkle, tinkle, tinkle. I danced on my toes to the high notes of the piano. I tightened my body for my low, fast sit spin and came out of the spin with two back crossovers. So far, things were going great. My energy was high as I followed the music in my mind.

Already it was time to wind up my program. My last 45 seconds included required footwork, a combination jump, and a sequence of spirals. To position myself for my footwork, I prepared to do a second Mohawk. I swayed my leg. Then suddenly my foot slipped out from underneath me, and I hit the ice with a thud. The crowd gasped. My teeth were jarred from the impact, but I popped right back up.

I had never fallen in a competition before, and my first thought was to skate off the ice into my mom’s comforting arms. I had worked so hard, and now I felt like I had thrown it all away. After all the hours I had spent preparing, why did I have to fall on such a simple maneuver in front of an audience? The judges would never award me a first. I had ruined everything.

But in that same instant, I kept going. I remembered my coach saying, “The skater who gets up and keeps going, no matter how hard it is, is truly a winner.” I remembered my parents telling me, “It doesn’t matter whether you come in first or last as long as you try your hardest and enjoy yourself.” I had worked too hard to quit now. I was determined to focus.

I smiled as I skated toward my flip-loop combination and landed with a wobble. The crowd clapped enthusiastically and my music began to slow to the end. I stretched my back leg for a spiral sequence across the ice. I stretched from one edge to another, lowered my leg , and did a slow back pivot to a standing pose with my chest in the air and my head and arms arched back. The crowd applauded loudly as I bowed and skated off the ice.

I stopped at the boards and stepped of the ice. MJ smiled encouragingly, and my mom hugged me tight, whispering in my ear that I had done a wonderful job. I slipped on my guards and sat down on the “kiss and cry”. I was still breathing hard and my legs wouldn’t stop shaking. As I waited for my score to be posted, I thought about how much I love this sport, and I decided it didn’t matter what I had placed.

Later that evening I was scheduled to skate a coupletech performance with my lil sis, Reizel, so we decided to eat first and rest. I changed into some warm-ups, smoothed my White velvet ice dress, and tucked it into my skating bag. As we walked out of the ice rink toward our car, Vernice, one of Reizel’s skating friends, asked what I had placed.

“Fifth,” I told her proudly.

“That’s great, Ate,” she said. “And goodluck tonight.”

“Thanx!” I replied.

As we drove back to our house, I thought about my day. I had grown up a lot, and I had a new way of looking at performing. I truly realized what my coach meant when he said, “When you fall, especially in a performance, you get stronger, because when you finish something, even if it’s not perfect, there is a feeling of accomplishment.” I was a winner today because I got up and finished my routine with a smile.

When I am skating, I feel relaxed, peaceful, and as light as the sand crystals that blow along the beach. What matters is that every day I am learning and trying my best. What matters is that I LOVE TO SKATE.

It was my final competition. I will miss iceskating so much! Bye ice, Hello waves!

I had to wake up as early as 5 AM today to start training for the upcoming 2007 Grand prix Philippine Open Figure-Skating Championship. This will be my last competition coz I decided to enter the pipemasters world! Yeh boi! I am so excited to ride the waves!

Today, my goal will be the Bielman position and spins. My lesson will start at 10 AM but I have to warm up and try freestyle before getting to coach MJ. Reiz has her dance class (8-10AM), I’ll just meet her at the rink later together with Rozz.

Ever tried to let go of something so close and dear to your heart that letting it go would be like giving up a part of your life? It's like holding on to a piece of broken glass, you hold on, you keep on hurting yourself but when you decide to let go, you feel the pain and your hand bleeds but the pain doesn’t last a lifetime. It heals but there will be a mark. Just like in your heart. There will be a mark, a proof, that once in your life you loved someone so much and he taught you a lot of things and that someone taught you to be strong. It won't be easy, but you'll get through it!

IT'S ABOUT WAKING UP IN THE morning with a bad hangover and being hit by a very familiar feeling that you went overboard again last night.

It's about a one-night stand with a girl you met at a party, sneaking out of her room before she wakes, checking your things if something was missing, looking for her phone and purposely deleting your number from her phonebook.

It's about meeting a girl at a bar and offering her a ride home. It's about asking her if she wanted to go someplace private so you can talk--when both of you are aware that you have a different "talk" in mind.

It's about meeting your ex again after quite some time and noting how much better she looks now than she did before. It's about pushing the right buttons for her to give in. And finding yourself in bed with her without strings attached, all the while being grateful to your friend who told you it's good not to burn your bridges with your exes.

It's about seeing a girl and finding ways for you to meet her. With pickup lines being overused, you have a better chance of getting her number by having a friend go over and ask her politely if he can have his friend over there introduced to her.

It's about texting with her the whole day, getting to know her, showing that you have a genuine interest in her, sharing sweet nothings on the phone and forwarding her cheesy quotes that work almost all the time.

It's about having your friend, your partner-in-crime, the Robin to your Batman--or whatever you want to call him--validate to her all your pledges of devotion and loyalty.

It's about perfecting the art of lying. Telling your girlfriend it was just you and the boys last night--go ask Robin. And not bothering to tell Robin what to say because he already knows the routine.

It's about keeping your girlfriend happy. Giving her gifts and surprises so she won't suspect your wayward ways.

It's about not caring if your girlfriend broke up with you because she caught you cheating. There are other fish in the sea, you say. You're better off a free man, free to do anything you pleased without worrying about getting caught.

It's about asking the girl you just met out for a date. Convincing her that you're for real. Making her forget about the warnings her friends gave about you.

It's about doing anything so you can bring her home tonight. And if everything else fails, it's always a good idea to have a plan B.

It's about saying the L word without breaking eye contact. Making her believe that you really mean it and that you're starting to fall for her. That's plan B.

It's about thinking of ways to break up with her if she starts to get clingy. Thinking of the standard breakup lines and wondering if she'll buy it.

It's about rushing to your friend's girlfriend with a shoulder to cry on. Telling her that everything's gonna work out fine. Comforting her one minute, making out the next.

It's about going out with your friends and partying all night. Drinking till dawn and playing around with girls.

It's about waking up in the morning with a bad case of hangover and a very familiar feeling that you went overboard again last night.

Deja vu.

Ugly cycle

It really is an ugly cycle. After years of a life like this, you begin to ask yourself if there is more to life than drinking all night and finding someone to hook up with. And in the morning when you wake up, no matter how much you soap yourself, you still have this uneasy feeling that you're still dirty.

Your friend has found a girl that he's serious about. When you go out with your friends, you find him taking a raincheck because he has to spend time with his girl. You and your friends wonder what has gotten into him. You even wonder if he's lost his mind. How can he even think about trading this kind of life? There's nothing better than a bachelor's life.

It's all fun and games the first few years. But after a while, you look at yourself in the mirror and find the traces of abuse you did to yourself. And if you don't change your ways, you fear that maybe someday you'll find yourself alone and lonely.

And after all the years of booze and girls, you can finally sum up your life in one word--empty.

Maybe it's not good to spend your life that way. Maybe your friend hasn't lost his mind, after all.

What you need is to find someone who can make you look forward to another day. Someone who, when you think about her, never fails to put a smile on

your face.

Someone who makes you want to be a better man--to steal a line from pareng Jack Nicholson.

Someone who fills that emptiness in you, making you complete.

Before, when you used to wake up in the morning and find somebody in your arms, your first thought was how you could get rid of her without hurting her feelings. But now, what you need is a girl who makes you want to think of reasons and ways to let her stay in your arms.

Because when she's right there beside you, it is as if everything's okay. That nothing else matters but you and her.

You need somebody who makes you miss her so much that you buy a bottle of her perfume and spray it on your pillows so, when you go to bed at night, you can hug the pillow with her scent on it and wish that it was really her you were hugging.

You need somebody who makes your heart skip a beat when she smiles at you. Who makes you feel so comfortable and safe that you pour out your heart to her, unburdening secrets that you've kept for a long time. And having her tell you that it's okay, you have a new slate now, that you can leave everything where it belongs, in the past, and concentrate on what lies ahead of you.

You need someone who makes you listen more to love songs on the radio. Someone whom you pray for at night before you sleep. Someone you wish you'd dream about, for even while you sleep, you still want to be with her.

Someone whom you can finally look in the eye, without all the guilt and deceit, and tell her you love her. And you get this mushy feeling inside that tells you it's true. You want to shout over the rooftops, you love her, and she loves you!

There's no better feeling in the world.

I have found my someone. I have found my all. I've been wanting to ask this for a long time now. And I think there's no better timing than now.

So here I am, down on one knee, asking you, my someone.

I remember the time when there was a special someone who was so much a part of my life. There was hardly a moment we weren’t together. It seemed so perfect. Sure we fought every now and then… but problems were there to help the relationship grow stronger. We would work through the problem, and not just ignore it and hope for it to go away. With all that he and I had been through together for 3 long years, I thought that nothing would ever separate us. But as life would have it, you can’t stay on cloud nine forever.And then… IT HAPPENED!… HE ENDED IT! And found someone else (though I’m still clueless how he lowered himself for that kinda girl). I never thought he could hurt me. I thought I know him that well. That he’s not that kind of person. And worst, hurt me in that fuckin way! LEFT ME… back to ZERO!

I kept asking God why it happened. I totally flipped. I was angry, frustrated, depressed, confused, and hysterical all at once. I kept asking myself… Why? What happened? What did Ido? I couldn’t sleep nor eat for a week… I’d just cry my eyes out! I would close my eyes and see his face. I’d look around me and almost everything would remind me of him. I’d hear songs and remember him. There were times that I’d be out with our common friends and I would think I’d see him but it was just my mind playing tricks on me. I’d wake up my mom in the middle of the night and cry to her because I felt like my heart had been ripped out. My world was shattered!!!

Then of course I hit the stage of depression, then anger, then bitterness. I got so angry and bitter, that I gathered everything he gave me… letters, notes, gifts… and put everything in a box. I carried it around with me to school, and I was debating with myself whether to give it back or not. Well, eventually I did not. I did what Howard told me. But I did it badly. Coz of the fact that I couldn’t resist calling him and still talked to him for more than a couple of times. Plus another fact that his family wouldn’t want to let me go! I love them so much! But it was not exactly the smartest nor the most proper thing to do. But sometimes when our emotions get the best out of us, even the smartest people make stupid mistakes. It was really difficult for me. I just wanted to forget it all happened. When people would ask me what had happened, I’d just say I don't want to talk about it. I cut off all ties with him and he did the same with me. I went out with my friends, and just had fun. Of course there were still moments when I’d think about him and then I’d miss him.

I don’t remember the exact moment I realized I was over him but I’ve realized them all by going to our fave place. There! It just happened. I finally got my sanity back and realized I have a future to prepare on. That he's no longer part of it and someone will come someday. Now, after almost a month, he and I talk occasionally, the things of the past forgiven. There's still that part of me that will always care. I believe the past is there for me to learn from. I also believe that I am meant for someone. I know he’s out there somewhere, and I trust God that He will bring us together. I’ve tried doing things on my own and I usually just mess‘em up. I’ve had my heart broken into pieces so small you could fit the pieces through the eye of a needle. That’s why I decided to trust in God instead of doing everything MY way. And besides, why mope around and be depressed when there is so much in this world to experience? We all have friends who’ll stick by us until the very end, friends who stick by us through the good and the bad. And we have a Friend up there Who wants to take care of us, and all we have to do is let Him.

Now, I’m abso-bloody-lutely over you.
