bokuto koutato headcanons because i love him more than myself <3

note : i tried changing my writing style a bit :3 idk if i like it yet or not

bokuto , who as your classmate , lit up the classroom with his bright “ good morningg !” no matter how quiet the class was , or how late he was. a greeting that did bother teachers at first but quickly became a morning essential for everyone.

he sat in front of you in class, often distracting you with his fidgeting but never directly spoke to you until— “hey do you think i could throw this in the bin from here?” he held a crumbled up paper in his hand with an almost goofy grin on his face “uhm- sure..?” why would he ask you that ?

bokuto who heard your stomach grumble once and committed to always bring a second snack. you did refuse at first but the dude brought more snacks than textbooks so you assumed accepting them every now and then wouldn’t be so bad…

bokuto who tested the sharpness of his pencil by poking himself in the arm , he who tried catching a bee that snuck in class to look cool but almost ended up getting hurt, he who blinks a lot in class because he insisted he had “photographic memory” , he who became more than a simple hyperactive classmate…

bokuto , who as your friend , started by wanting to be paired with you in projects , then waved at you when you crossed paths in the hallway , he who invited himself to your study sessions because he challenged himself to at least get half of the grade you’re getting.

bokuto who did a full 180 as soon as the teacher said something complex , and looked at you with those big confused eyes waiting for what he called a “translation”.

he who drew on your hand once, and did not notice how flustered that made you.

“bokuto what are you doing..” he was sitting on his chair in a way that he was completely facing you , his arms resting on the back of the chair , his head slightly titling and his eyes squinting “im trying to focus on your face”.

his way of “flirting” was very weird, he’s a good flirt don’t get me wrong , but only if he’s not aware that he’s flirting : for example he doesn’t realize that it make your heart skip a beat when he pushed your hair to the side because he wanted to look directly in your eyes when he spoke to you.

he then realized he actually liked you and tried to flirt (key word : tried). he would constantly try to “accidentally” brush his hand against yours as a kind of “hey look at me” type of thing.

bokuto who seemed to “stretch” his arms way more often now , basically flexing them to show off how strong he was.

bokuto , who as your boyfriend would nag you into scratching his back since he sat in front of you

he tried being cute by playing with your hair but just ended up apologizing on his knees cus he tangled it badly.

he was super happy to introduce you to everyone he knew as his partner , his teammates, his coach , his friends from other schools, his cool uncle, the lady selling fish at the supermarket.

bokuto loves to nuzzle into to crook of your neck , especially if he’s holding you from the back , he just likes to hold you waist and watch whatever you were watching on your phone with you

he’s cheesy asf , he’ll search for “cool pickup lines” every morning to greet you in a different way.

he , the huge show off that he is, performs way better if you’re watching him play. however it does have its downsides as he’s so focused on looking “cool and sexy” he just… forgets to play ?

he could sit for hours (and he has done it) listening to you talk about a very niche interest, without getting bored or trying to change the subject— we love a supportive bf

Y/n asked her boyfriend, Yuta. He smiled, shaking his head. “No. Go ahead. I’ll wait here.”

“Alright! I’ll be quick”, Y/n smiled pecking him as she rushed off. Smiling, Yuta took out his phone going through all the pictures he took of her beautiful girlfriend.

While on his phone, he was startled when a girl approached him with a microphone and a filming unit. Shit! Y/n come back fast!

“Hey,” He recognized the woman to be Yuki Tsukomo. The famous influencer who goes around town asking people about their romantic preferences.

“Hey…” Yuta replied awkwardly, his eyes darting around frantically, searching for his favorite girl.

Smiling, Yuki continued. “You’re so cute! I’ll get straight to the point,” she urged. “What is your type of girl?”

Yuta was stunned for a moment. His type of girl? He’s a bit embarrassed to reply. Sure, he saw them almost every day of his life, but he did not spare them as much as a glance. How could he look away from you? It will take forever for him to be able to take his mind off you. Thus, how could he have a type when he has you?

“I do not have a type. I have a girlfriend.”

This was an answer Yuki never heard in all her days of doing street interviews. “But surely you have a preference you like?”

Yuta thought for a second. “My preference would be my girlfriend.”

“Dude!” Yuki was getting frustrated. “You must have had girlfriends before her, right?”

“No,” He smiled as he remembered the day when he first met you in a bookshop. But that is a story for another day. “No. She’s the only (normal) one I ever had.”

Yuki’s eyes were wide in surprise. He is so pure, blinded by love; almost like a new puppy who’s fond of their owner. She congratulated the girlfriend in her mind. The girl this guy spoke of, she was being loved so devotedly, so wholly.  She must be very, very lucky.  But Yuki wasn’t the one to give up.

“Then,” She said giving a twirl. “Rate me out of ten?”

Yuta chuckled. Did this woman not realize how much he absolutely adored you. His laugh was the only answer she needed.

“I cannot rate you because my girlfriend’s so beautiful, she broke my meter.” Yuki’s heart was aching for this couple, honestly.

“Yuta!” Y/n came back, two matching keychains in hand. She was about to speak before she noticed Yuki and her filming unit. “You busy?’’

Without a warning, Yuta snaked his hand around Y/n’s waist, pressing his lips against hers in a soft, passionate exchange. Yuki squealed at the scene before her, jumping like a little girl. The bystanders who had been watching their short interview also clapped a bit, happy for the couple.

When they parted, Y/n’s entire face was red; she shyly hid herself in Yuta’s chest,

“Girl, you better keep a strong hold on this man. He’s a keeper. Absolutely smitten!”

Y/n with a smile said, “I plan to.”

And she did.

Three months had passed since you and Matt decided to call it quits. The decision wasn't easy, but the relentless hate from his fans had become too much to bear. The once joyful relationship, which had been proudly displayed on his Instagram and in the YouTube videos with his triplet brothers, Nick and Chris, was now just a painful memory.

You remember the exact moment you decided to end things.

“Our love is six feet under

I can't help but wonder

If our grave was watered by the rain

Would roses bloom?"

It was a rainy day, fittingly somber, when you told Matt you couldn't handle the negativity anymore. The look in his eyes broke you, but you knew it was for the best.

Matt wasn't feeling any better. Despite Nick and Chris's efforts to get him to focus on his career, he was stuck in a loop of despair. Every social media post, every video felt empty without you by his side.

"It's not true

Tell me I've been lied to

Crying isn't like you"

He couldn't move on, and neither could you. The pain was mutual, and the absence of your lifelong friendship made it even harder to cope.

Your mind was brought back to Kindergarten, the day you met Matt and his brothers. You were swinging on the swing set at your school's playground, the world blurring around you as you swung back and forth. You were shocked, and hurt, when a soccer ball came flying to the back of your head.

“Ouch!” You had screeched, jumping off the swing and bringing your hand to your head. You looked around the playground, trying to find the culprit. Your eyes landed on this small group of boys who seemed practically identical. You picked up the ball, stomping over to their sheepish gaze.

“Didn't your mother ever teach you not to hit girls?” you asked sassily, tossing the ball to the ground in front of them. One of the boys at the end spoke up finally, “It was an accident, we swear!” You only rolled your eyes, crossing your little kid arms in front of your chest with your foot tapping the mulch angrily.

“Well, I expect an apology because that hurt!” You'd told them, scanning their almost identical faces. Your eyes landed on the boy standing in the middle. Even back then, he had made your heart skip a beat. He had stared at you with this intensity that made your stomach churn with butterflies.

“I'm sorry about that. Our brother, Nick, isn't very athletic like Chris and I,” the boy had said, pointing to his brother on one side, then at his other before holding his hand out for you to shake. “I'm Matt, by the way. And yes, before you ask, we are triplets,” you couldn't help but laugh at his words. You were sure they were constantly getting asked that.

You took his hand in yours, shaking up and down once before quickly letting go. His hand was warm from presumably working up a sweat playing soccer. Yours were clammy too, from gripping the handles of the swing. “Wanna play with us?” Nick had offered.

You quickly agreed, kicking and passing the ball around with the three brothers. Maybe these boys weren't so bad. You had always wanted friends, perhaps these boys could be that for you.

You didn't realize it, but you were crying. The memory tugging at the strings of your heart. You were hurting. More than you'd ever like to admit.

“Retrace my lips, erase your touch

It's all too much for me

Blow away like smoke in air

How can you die carelessly?”

As you sat alone in your room, tears streaming down your face, you couldn't help but wonder how Matt was doing. Meanwhile, Matt was at his house, surrounded by his brothers. They were playing a game in the living room, but Matt's mind kept drifting back to the past.

Lately, he found himself thinking about you more and more. He missed the days when things were simpler, when a game of soccer could make everything better.

His brothers noticed his distraction. "Hey, Matt, you okay?" Nick asked, concern evident in his voice. Matt forced a smile, trying to shake off the melancholy. "Yeah, just thinking about old times," he replied.

As he sat there, he realized that no matter how much time had passed, some memories never truly fade.

“What the hell did I do?

Never been the type to

Let someone see right through”

You picked up your phone, trying to distract yourself from the overwhelming emotions. You opened TikTok, hoping for a momentary escape. As you scrolled through your feed, you stumbled upon an old edit of you and Matt. The video was a compilation of little clips: the two of you cuddling, laughing, holding each other, and looking at each other like you were the only ones in the room.

The memories hit you like a tidal wave, and you began to cry harder, unable to hold back the flood of emotions.

"They're playin' our sound

Layin' us down tonight

And all of these clouds

Cryin' us back to life

But you're cold as a night”

The triplets had gone to bed, but Matt couldn't sleep. He was in his room, alone. His mind was flipping through images of you. The memories of it all caused tears to cascade down his cheeks.

“Up all night

On another red-eye

I wish we never learned to fly

Maybe we should just try

To tell ourselves a good lie

I didn't mean to make you cry”

You turned off your phone, frustrated and hurt even more than before. Three months, and it all still hurt the same. You didn't understand it. Why did people have to be so cruel? You missed Matt. Now more than ever.

He'd hold you at times like this. When all you needed was reassurance and whispers of sweet nothings. Those nothings were everything, though.

But he wasn't here. He wasn't with you. Not in your bed, holding you and telling you it was all okay. Because it wasn't. Nothing was okay. You weren't okay.

“Help, I lost myself again

But I remember you”

Matt's mind went back to the time he took you to New York City. Just the two of you on a romantical getaway. At least that's what you had called it. A romantic trip to get away from it all. That was four months ago. One month before you had broken up with him.

“The smile that you gave me

Even when you felt like dying

We fall apart as it gets dark

I'm in your arms in Central Park

There's nothing you could do or say”

As you cried yourself to sleep, you couldn't help but mourn. Mourn the loss of not just a relationship with Matt, but the friendship of him and his brothers.

“Six feet under

I can't help but wonder

Matt's eyes grew heavy, sleep slowly taking over his body. He couldn't help it.

“I don't want to

But I love you”

You and Matt both were silently suffering.

like it would just be out of the blue, he proposed to his bandmates to play a song towards the end of the show, a love song. they were skeptical at first yet excited at the same time because who was he going to perform— better yet, dedicate that song too? he was brainstorming of sooooo many ideas on how to perfectly announce to everyone that his heart belonged to you and only you, except you didn't know that.. not until his performance wink wink and after about like 36 changes in his band's practice, he had managed to think of the best way to confess yet.

since you were going to be at the front of audience, obviously, reo thought of a way to incorporate having you go up on stage with him as he sings and plays the electric guitar and give you a quick peck before ending the show with a bang! he had put in extra work for this performance specifically, reo didn't even know what he'll do if you rejected him.. he'd probably lock himself away tbh, interacting with nagi only. but he knew you'd love him back, you've been giving him hints that even nagi noticed so it was going to be a win/win situation.. right??

and so the day he was waiting for finally happened, he was so sweaty and nervous but the second you came in backstage and told him good luck? oh boy, he was going to make this performance the best one he's ever did. the concert felt like such a breeze, reo and his bandmates performed so good!! you only had your eyes on reo for most of the time though, he looked so happy to be able to perform. even if behind all that, he still says that he doesn't like playing in a band. you thought it would've ended by now, but reo announced that his band was going to play one last song for the night

"this last song goes out to someone i cherish deeply in my heart, someone who's always been with me ever since i met them.. this one's for you y/n!"

when he said those words, the world suddenly stopped. as in literally, everyone was in shock and became quiet yet their expressions seemed joyful! reo held his hand out to you, his cheeky smile plastered on his face. to say you were speechless was an understatement. he and his band seemed much more enthusiastic when you on stage with him, reo was holding your hand so tightly to the point it looked like it was turning red. speaking of turning red, his face was SO flustered!!! towards the end of the song, he cupped your cheek. everyone in that theater space was beyond shocked. you're expression and how you never let go of his hand was all he needed for an answer. he quickly kissed your face before speaking into his mic once more—

"so to everyone here right now, i would like you all to meet my bestfriend and now my girlfriend/boyfriend, the best person i could ever meet and be with!"

Laughing, you stood aside with Seonghwa, who was taking his break from shooting. You had brought coffee for everyone and waited with him for all the others to take their break too, although when Hongjoong comes up to you, he already looks a bit moody. It doesn't stop you from holding his coffee towards him with a smile.

“Hey Joong, here's your coffee. Seonghwa said you didn't have one y-” Before you could finish your sentence though, one of the members accidentally bumps against you while talking to the others and causes you to drop Hongjoong's coffee. Unfortunately, it spills onto his outfit. You tried to catch the cup and when you look up into his face, you actually wince, his expression more than angry.

“Great, y/n! Now I have to get changed and the staff has even more work!” Hongjoong huffs out, grabbing the tissues from your hand harshly before you hurry to get more tissues. “Hongjoong, it's fine, the stain is not as big, we can fix it.” Seonghwa tries to calm the captain, but for some reason, this seems to anger him just even more. “Yeah, of course you stand up for her, huh? How about you take her then? Don't need a stupid girlfriend who ruins everything all the time!”

These words feel like a slap in your face and the moment Hongjoong turns and sees you standing there, he feels horrible for saying it. Of course he loves you, but the day had stressed him so much, he lost his patience and let it out on you. “Y/n, I-” He started, but cut himself off, noticing the tears that had appeared in your eyes. 

You didn't want to hear it, your week already had been shit and now your boyfriend says this? Before anyone could react, you throw the tissues at him and turn around, leaving the set, running. It just had to happen someday, Hongjoong is an idol and you are just a normal girl, so why should one like him love you?

It didn't take long for your phone to blow up, the boys asking you to come back and that your boyfriend didn't mean it. When Hongjoong called, you declined the call and turned off your phone for now. If he truly wanted to find you,he knew where you would go. The only place, you always felt safe and comfortable, even though without him, it felt cold.

Hours went by, you had curled up on the chair in his studio, and when Hongjoong entered it, you had fallen asleep from crying. When he saw you there, his heart stopped for a moment, thankful that you didn't leave completely. Carefully, he laid a blanket over you before sending the boys a text, letting them know that he found you. 

“Y/n…I'm so sorry for what I said. I never meant it…” He whispered, his fingers gently caressing your temple, then he carefully lifted you out of the chair to settle down on the little sofa with you in his arms. “D- don't leave me, joongie…” Your voice was quiet and sleepy as you shuffled in his arms without waking up, bringing a sad smile to Hongjoong's lips. 

“I would never leave you, y/nnie…I love you too much for that. You are my best friend, my muse, my treasure. And I'm so sorry for hurting you with my words. I swear, this will never happen again.” He whispered, followed by endless quiet apologies until the captain also fell asleep, his arms wrapped around you in fear of losing you because of his stupid words.

rafe smiled, his hand on your lower back as he pushed you forward with him. “i’m telling you, man. you gotta have a little more faith in me.”

“what’s going on?” you asked rafe, stopping to look up at him.

his hands came up to cradle the sides of your face. “you trust me?” you nodded. “then listen to me and do whatever i say.”

“what’s happening?” you asked, growing more scared as you looked up at him with big pleading eyes.

he kissed your forehead and turned his head to look at barry. “you’re gonna help me repay him.”

“what?” you felt your heart drop. “what do you mean? how am i supposed to do that?”

his hand returned to your lower back and began to guide you to the entrance of his trailer. “you’re gonna show him a good time, baby.”

you shook your head frantically, planting your feet. “no. no, i don’t even know him. why would i do that?”

“hey hey hey, you’re fine, sweetheart. you’re gonna be fine. he won’t hurt you. and i’ll be right here with you,” he said reassuringly. somehow, it didn’t make it any better.

“don’t worry, hun, i don’t bite,” barry said with a smile.

you didn’t like this. you didn’t like the idea of being with anyone other than rafe.

“hey, it’s ok, baby,” he spoke, a gentle kiss pressing to your lips after. “we’re gonna treat you good. i promise.”

barry stepped aside and held the trailer door open. “we’ll take real good care of you.”

you let your body loosen a little more. you knew rafe would never intentionally hurt you and god knows he’d never, ever let anyone else lay a finger on you with the thought of hurting you.

you let him guide you into the living room and almost immediately, his lips were on yours and his hands were holding your waist in a vice like grip. he pushed you down onto the couch. “take it all off,” he ordered.

Hidden Agenda (Sun YT) ep 9 of 12 - Zo’s drama over Pat helping Joke flirt seems awfully manufactured. I’m losing faith in this show. Could GMMTV PLEASE hand JoongDunk a decent script? 

Only Friends (Sat YT) ep 5 of 10 - Sand & Ray are the only interesting couple, and I’m pretty much only watching for them. They gonna go south fast, tho, and they're already ruined by persistent singing. Ooo. When Sand said Top "stole his ex" did he mean Boston? How gay. 

Naughty Babe (Sat YT) ep 2 of 8 - The pronoun conversation had a bonkers translation but I enjoyed the actuality of it. The reasons for Yi's trickery are very convoluted soap opera. But I suppose that is the amnesia trope for you. 

Be Mine Super Star (Mon Viki) ep 10 of 12 - Boys. We discussed this already. No sex in onsens! I found this one dull, until the end when LLS showed up. Happy to just have him in everything. Thank you Thailand. Looks like it is a classic ep 11 DOOM next week. Who cares? 

Venus in the Sky (Tues iQIYI) 1-2 of 10 eps - The usual Thai pulp claptrap this time a reunion romances in and around a convenience store between a boy who recently quit his job and his former bestie who is now a doctor. Mostly not great acting, plot, or production but the sound is okay and no bad effects or singing (so far), so that’s something. The gay brothers have a fun relationship. It’s vampy and campy but fun. I like it but not sure anyone else would.

Love in Translation (Sat iQIYI) ep 4 of 10 - The date was cute but I still don’t like the lead or the premise (we moved into Cyrano de Bergerac territory). It’s moving slowly but it seems like we might be over the crush/stalker part of the narrative, so that’s a relief. 

Crazy Handsome Rich (Sun Gaga) ep 2 of 10 - I just can’t. The sound is too weird. With punch down humor and other issues incoming I may DNF this. You’ve been warned. This ep we got to see LLS with his shirt off. Did anything else happen? 

Ongoing Series - Not Thai

Jun & Jun (Korea Thur Viki) ep 8fin - No wonder he is everyone’s favorite hyung, boy can read the room like no one else. I love that we got to see exactly how clingy and demanding Choi Jun was always going to be. Only Lee Jun is easy-going enough to put up with him. Also I’ve never watched a KBL with more innuendo. For Korea this was… raunchy. I gotta say had Laws of Attraction not come along, Simon might have been my favorite character of 2023.

Final thoughts on Jun and Jun:

A delightful office romance about an ex-idol who joins cubical life only to find his new boss is his first love. Others boys are sniffing around too. Operative word being "sniffing" as much of this romance involves smell. With a snappy script, enjoyable sides, a pretty as peaches cast, and descent chemistry this show made up for in style what it lacked in substance. I like fluff. I loved this. I smiled every moment I was watching. With tons of rewatch potential (especially the last few eps), my only caution is this is for fans of the BL genre only, I don’t think it’ll work for anyone else. A solid 9/10 from me. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I like that Korea is trying high heat, but Taiwan and Thailand are leaps and bounds better at it.

Love Class Season 2 (Korea Fri Viki) eps 9-10fin -

Omg they so cute as flirty bf. Eeeeeeee! CAMEO!!!!! My fav guest couple ever! So exciting!!!! I love that they intersected with MY Strongberry couple (Private Lessons). I’m not used to this but Holy innuendo Korea, what with Jun & Jun and now this show? It’s a bit much for my gay little heart. The final episode was entirely unnecessary, but it was fun to see them being all domestic and stuff. Maru with his dumb lettuce leaves was hilarious. I feel like I need to rewatch this one to really understand it properly, so I will likely do that soon.

Summary of Love Class 2:

3 couples form within a semester of university: 1. a hyung romance reunion of exes, one of whom has a dangerous past, 2. a friends to lovers romance, and 3. a mature student and TA one night stand + complexities (many aspects of which had me laughing). I enjoyed the characters and dialogue of this show immensely. It was a little bit more breezy and friendly than I was expecting after the first installment, Love Class. I’m not entirely sure Korea can handle multiple couples like this because it definitely felt disjointed, especially the 3rd more mature couple (also my favorite) who probably should’ve had their own series. But it was definitely fun and something different from Korea. 8/10 RECOMMENDED

Also, Korea tried to give us higher heat... that was... interesting. I mean, you tried hon...?

Kisseki: Dear to Me (Taiwan Tues Viki & iQIYI) ep 4 of 13(?) - Everyone is a sad sack this ep. Ooooo. Teach/student my favorite. We never get this one. It’s messy. I’m not sure if there is a plot. I’m not sure they’re sure if there is a plot. But I am still enjoying it.

Why R U? (Korea Wed iQIYI) eps 5-6 of 8 - Why is the Fighter character always so frustrating regardless of name or country? Ji Oh stalking his crush via IG is so relatable. He’s very first crush awkward, unsure, and sweet. They also gave a nice kiss - I love the backpack drop (kiss version of a mic drop?) I still hold that if you haven’t seen the original this might not make much sense. But I am enjoying it. 

My Personal Weatherman AKA Taikan Yoho (Japan Sat Gaga) ep 4 of 8 - Oh goody, another JBL where we have to pay attention solely to what they do and not what they say.

Love story between a trainee who is about to debut and a celebrity from the same agency. Kpop boy group OnlyOneOf has signed up to star in this idol-based BL (based on a webtoon). They’ve been auditioning for this since Libido IMHO. You can watch me chronicle their BL MV series in this post. “i didn’t forget you jiji” “dont act like you love me now, im tired of being chosen last!” “just like when were kids??” you teased reaching down to steal a handful of popcorn from the bowl in his lap. “please do not bring up my childhood trauma right now! you chose me last for every single game of freeze tag when im literally faster than you!” everyone bursted into laughter at jisungs dramatic episode as you walked back over to your spot on the sofa next to your boyfriend.

“Okay goodnight family, i legit cannot keep my eyes open any longer” you grabbed your pillow placing it in changbins lap laying down as he wrapped the blanket around you.

“Night night, jagi” your boyfriend whispered as he ran his fingers through your hair.

“Sleep tight!” jisung added

“We love you kiddo..” chan smiled.

You fell asleep instantly, as your boyfriend brother and best friend all went back to continuing their previous conversation. the room felt so warm and fuzzy filled with love. You were beyond grateful for the men in your life they were your everything. your back bones, your protectors, your safe spaces. They were your family, and you couldn’t even fathom the thought of living life without theses three in it.

Pit Babe

Jotting down my thoughts as I go, spoilers ahead:

Absolutely nuts that his name is Babe. It's not a nickname. Only him and a pig have I ever heard called this as a non-pet name.

Very grateful that English translations exist in the first place. But who decided to translate father as Daddy? What a choice. Especially in a show involving Daddy kink.

Begging Charlie to stop saying "Babe!" and just start explaining yourself more often.

Pavel Naret Promphaopun is SUCH a brilliant actor. He has so much nuance in his performance. My god can that man cry.

Love how much Babe is allowed to feel in this in general. Toxic masculinity is so BLATANTLY a facade for him.

The way Pavel decides to have Babe find so much stuff amusing IDK it helps lessen the cringe for me. It's not him making fun of the plot in a meta way - not a big fan of that it usually feels either rude or lazy - he just very easily laughs at the ridiculousness going on like anyone would and it feels nice and realistic.

The implications that Jeff's predictions are always right is nuts. I feel vindicated that it's proven false.

I thought they'd distinguish that Jeff has to touch bare flesh to look into the future, but nope, touches Babe's jacket.

Does Jeff only see the future when he initiates the touch? That's so specific because he doesn't have any control beyond that on whether or not he sees anything it seems. Does he see more of the future every time he touches someone? Or is it like big stuff then it's over and out of the way until something changes.

Made me sad that Jeff implied that Charlie at least was afraid of him or wanted something from him. I hope that changed. Also, bizarre for him to be worried people are afraid of him when Charlie exists.

Love how different Charlie and Jeff deal with their touched based powers. Jeff will hardly touch anyone. Charlie could not give a fuck about consequences apparently and is very tactile to say the least.

Wish Charlie and Pitt bonded over their shitty childhoods more. That could have been a nice moment.

Absolutely insane that Charlie stealing Babe's power forever isn't a bigger deal.

I think Charlie said he was only there for two years. So I'm guessing he got sold at like 14/16, already knew about his powers, and decided to hide them and get kicked out rather than getting better treatment but staying there longer. Because Tony seemed to pick up what was happening pretty quick from the security tapes. Even if a lackey was in charge of Charlie not him you'd think he'd pick up something before now otherwise. Would love if we actually got to see this though. I'd love to delve into how Charlie is so sunshine bright happy despite all the solitary confinement he endured.

Why was Charlie visiting Tony if he was kicked out? Is it just because they were looking for Jeff and you're not totally "free" even after getting kicked out?

I'd love it if Tony's cruelty was emphasized in that Charlie is penniless now. I know Babe says that he's poor or something at one stage but I can't tell if he just means poorer than him. Otherwise it's never brought up but I can't imagine Tony left him with anything. Maybe Jeff helped him out. Although then you'd assume they'd be living together in the beginning? Because Jeff has run away so he shouldn't have much either. Pretty easy solve too. They share an apartment and then move in with their BF's as soon as possible. Especially since a big talking point of Tony's is that they should appreciate the wealth he gives when they're in his good graces.

Everyone is awful at running away. What do you mean you are all in the exact same city. Jeff you're still registered at uni, it would not be hard for Tony to find you. Tony is admittedly also SO bad at his job.

Tony's house is so easy to break in and out it's nuts. They have superpowers! You don't need to make it this easy for them just show them using them a bit more to get in and out.

Would love to know what Charlie thinks of his family. And Jeff. Would honestly just like to know more about them.

Does everyone know about Alpha powers? Why can that guy just have a kid clearly helping him cheat then?

This show is goofy and makes me laugh more accidentally than on purpose but if anything happens to Sonic or North I will cry.

Is Charlie's power a known one? How does he know he needs to die? Has he taken anyone else's powers? Are alpha power's hereditary? Has he had a near death experience?

I was going to say that Charlie's devotion to Babe is a bit much. But I'm on ep. 9 and no, I think Babe in fact deserves someone that ride or die for him, OOF. Glad he's at least ride or die back, and very forgiving...

I guessed literally every secret orphan and got only one wrong. Love this wild ride nevertheless.

I'm going to take Pit Babe not mentioning Alan as someone he can trust as his anxiety talking and not lazy writing to make his and Charlie's connection seem stronger.

On ep 10. and I better get an explanation for what the Hell this stupid plan is. How is killing Charlie giving him to your Dad? I was under the impression he wanted him alive. Especially since someone who can steal powers (as long as it isn't one at a time but considering it's permanent...) is INCREDIBLY powerful and useful alive. What? Is pretending to drug his food or actually drugging his food not an easier than this. Just what????????????? This cannot be the plan! Charlie can't actually be dead? *Update: Still think the plan was stupid and I'm surprised Tony agreed to it or kept his word considering he DID NOT GET CHARLIE.

It's kind of bizarre that there are almost no women in this show, or non-binary people. We get Aunty and that's kind of it. I'd take a few more fem mechanics or kids in the background or something but it's just ALL men. On a similar note, I am UNCOMFORTABLE that the only darker skinned person in the show is a random ruffian.
