summary: Park Chanyeol has three problems.

Number one: His childhood best friend Do Kyungsoo and his online bestie Byun Baekhyun are helplessly in love with each other.

Number two: The two don’t know each other. Chanyeol is their only mutual friend and therefore responsible for getting them together now.

Number three: This totally interfers with finishing up his album.

I've saw your BTS friendship dynamics take, who do you think in EXO can't stand each other and who may be actual friends?

i've sort of answered this already - repeatedly and extensively might i add. you can check out my answers here here and particularly here delving deeper on baeksoo's dynamic which people always tend to single out as the least close relationship in the group

again i also wanna say that all of exo are trauma bonded for eternity now which means that no matter how much time they spend apart or how little they interact publicly they are past the point of hating each other or drifting apart. i 100% believe they are all genuine close friends with each other and grew past any coworker dynamic a long time ago.

which if you compare them with bts it's funny because i think the reason their dynamics have evolved so well and they've survived as a group is partly due to bts wiping them off the game. like i don't think ppl understand how much pressure and strain your relationship with your bandmates is under when you are the biggest group in the country... when bts took that title from them it also took off a lot of the pressure, resentment and company induced powerplays that come with it.

like i might be alone in this but i thank god everyday that exo lost out to bts because if exo were under that situation nowadays i genuinely don't think they would've survived and/or their artistic integrity would be shot to shit - much like bts' integrity is. can you imagine exo selling out to sing fuck ass disney channel songs in corny us talk shows instead of recording songs like let me in? talk about dodging the biggest bullet in the world.
