I swear how many times do they wanna make me think mrs. Hart is coming back?? Literally the first scene i was like waiit green witch? Animals coming out of her grave (i think)? But then it was "just" the salem seven and i was just sitting there thinking whyyyy am i doing this to myself right before i want to go to sleep?? But it was okay, not as scary as i thought it would be (im such a baby about stuff like this istg even tho i never even get nightmares)

Saw B last night and oh man, the grass pollen is getting to them (🥴).

They've been talking a little bit more about their sneeziness lately and I'm soooo open to that

Last night they told me that their sister, who they saw this weekend for a family get together, was exasperated with how much they were sneezing and calling them gross. 🥺 Of course I took IMMEDIATE offense.

Me: your sister's got no room to talk, she sneezes like three times each or more, right?

B: yeah, but I sneeze like way more, sometimes ten times, she got mad about that

Sometimes after a long fit they'll apologize and it melts my heart, like baby noooo you don't need to do that you can't help it. I'll ask them why they're apologizing and they'll say they're annoying and I tell them they're anything but annoying to me.

(Because honestly the adrenaline is PUMPING when I see them launch into a cute fit like that. I'm blessing them. I'm offering tissues. I'm trying to act somewhere close to sane.)

Later on when we were in bed, they kept telling me how badly they felt like they needed to sneeze, and reaching around me to rub at their nose (they had their arm around me). Which was soooo tantalizing 🥹🥹 At one point I had to pee so bad -- interstitial cystitis/chronic UTI gang rise up -- but I didn't want to get out of bed in case I missed it.

The allergy meds must have done their job by that point, though, because no more sneezes. Only lots of sniffles.

I won't even go into detail on how good the sex was because it'd be a novella. They were so confident with me and by the end they just resumed the conversation we'd been having and it took me five minutes before I could even form a sentence. 😵‍💫😵‍💫 I'm SO wrapped around my handsome butch's finger wtf

who wants to hear about my horrific dream i might turn into an analog horror!!!

so i was playing a new mario game and it was all cutesy and stuff and i knew that i was playing but my body was the mario character. anyways it was all cute but for some reason the elevator that used to be a mushroom that would go up and down was now isabelle from animal crossing instead and her head would stretch and it was scary. i was watching a building guide for the game and the person was explaining these weird blocks that once you placed the one side the other would fall into place qnd i was confused on why that would be needed. suddenly the guy placed a block and he was freaking out and said “oh my god i didnt mean to place that MINETTE BE CAREFUL!!” and suddenly a horrible screach is heard and the screen turns to black with a scary mutilated cat in the middle with the words “you killed minette??” and i was like oh my what the fuck? so i go back to my game but the screen is also the scary screen from the video and I was like ok wtf. the dream then goes to me watching a streamer and theyr watching the same analog horror i just experienced and the video is some guy logging his experience? or maybe his experiment?? anyways hes talking about something called “momo” and he says “log 1: momo has cloned minette. she is meowing for me. i will not give in.” and it shows a picture of the same mutilated cat but its screaming desperately and its scary as hell. the video clicks and its a new screen (the streamer is still watching) and the man in the video says “log 2: momo has got out and cloned the neighbor.” it showed this humanoid cat thing next to an obviously dead neighbor and the sky is red. “maybe it will get you too.” the man says and suddenly the momo cat thing screams and swipes at the screen and the video ends. the streamer is like “omg that was soooo scary!! lets go watch my friend who os friends with the creator of the analog horror series!!” and they go watch another streamer who is communicating with the creator through the video. its an image of a baby and the creator is saying “thank you for trying to solve this. you are protecting me.” and suddenly this horrifying face materializes next to the baby and attacks it with this horrible screaming and the screen is flashing. i wake up.

How could Trolls 3 have been better?

First of all: I ended up loving Viva and her story/explanation of how she got separated and how she retained her similarities to Poppy while having a very Branch like quality at the same time. I wish somehow that her reveal could have been a surprise but I get we have to let everyone know Camila Cabello is in the movie. So Poppy’s desire for a sister/sibling totally fits her character but her saying it the way she did just felt soooo lazy. I think it would’ve made so much more sense to reveal that Bridget had sister who were coming in for the wedding and that gets Poppy a little jealous. Especially if they had like stepsister vibes since in Trolls 1 Bridget had big Cinderella parallels so it would’ve been cool to see that continue. And they’ll have inside jokes and things sisters have and yeah Poppy is maid of honor but she’s still a little jealous and it sparks this conversation of having a family. Because when she said not having a sister is something she had been coming to terms with recently I’m like show not tell bruh.

Also the lack of World Tour peeps was sad

The movie should have opened with the wedding and have us learn more about the band through flashbacks because it felt very long and repetitive but maybe it’s because the trailers all had the same opening clip. I think it would’ve made John showing up at the wedding a bigger surprise and also he should have waited until the reception because wtf was up with everyone watching him just crash the wedding for 5 minutes????

The songs. Sooooo many missed opportunities. I knew this film was gonna have “We are family” but it was way too early on and felt totally out of place without having any “sisters” at the moment. Also “Crazy in Love” is the most Bridget/Gristle song out there and describes a wedding way more.

Not having “ME!” by Taylor Swift felt criminal because it is the most Broppy song. We could’ve had this and the boy band tributes but we kept getting robbed.

I feel like we needed more build up for Branch’s relationship with his brothers like it would’ve been cool to see it from Poppy’s perspective like seeing Poppy at a concert almost too little to understand what’s happening (because I think it’s established that she’s a tad bit younger than Branch but I’m still confused about if Branch escaped with the other Trolls from the tree or if he went straight to the village from wherever his family was). Because also Viva remembers Poppy so she’s obviously fairly older so it would’ve been sweet to see like Poppy piecing together a memory realizing that so much that she loves is stuff Viva introduced her too especially since on of Branch’s brothers is working with her to help her little village.

But also the stakes weren’t high enough to explain why none of them checked in on their baby brother after all those years? Like he was a literal baby? I feel like the reason they broke up was mid, I think it would’ve been nice to show like there was a time that they had a reunion planned and no one showed up which increased Branch’s bitterness and then they could explain it was a misunderstanding because like I’m sorry he was a literal baby and they all just left him and never tried to go back??? They should have had them break up because they all vowed to never sing again because it attracted bergans like even when they didn’t sing the sight of them made all the trolls feral that they broke up and gave up signing for the safety of others.

Velvet and Veneer: no notes. Icons. I wanted more. But what was the purpose of Fringe if she got no closure or resolution or redemption? She was so cute, tell me more about her plsssss
