So I’ve been playing tears of the kingdom.

one 20-minute [or more] drawing a day challenge! part one!

jayfeather and briarlight! it’s been so long since i’ve drawn warriors it’s insane i’ve always loved to imagine that these two love each other. maybe not entirely romantically, but at least a “we both suffer from a disability that makes the clan think we can’t contribute as well as we know we could, i understand how you feel” kinda way. or both! who knows. it’s been forever since i’ve read warriors! i’ve always hated how they never gave briarlight a disability aid? like these are very humanized cats. they could tie a piece of bark under her back half so she doesn’t get injured moving about.

i’m also able to somewhat relate to briarlight as of late. i’m not paralyzed but i have chronic back pain that has been draining all my energy recently. most days i’ve just been struggling to get through the school day through the pain. girlies go gougar i guess.

i did my best to put the jay feathers in a place that isn’t culturally insensitive to indigenous peoples. if anybody has a problem with it let me know, i’m trying to learn more about these issues.
