Here is my response to that:

Arthur had been scrolling on his phone; he’d been ogling your IG page for the past hour to ensure you didn’t have a significant other. He couldn;t understand how you did not already have someone hanging off your firm capable shoulders, but he was glad that position was still vacant. You’d met in one of your courses on campus. You tended to never really speka up. You allowed your data sets, formulas, & analysis speak for itself.

Arthur admired you so. Anytime you spoke new wisdom was being spun into his ears. He couldn;t understand why you rushed over your words and hesitated when you spoke. Whenever it was your turn to share you findings Arthur was always eager to lend an ear.

He daydreamed what it would be like to spend a full 24-hours with you. Arthur wanted to take you on a Ferris Wheel then somehow end the night with you tangled up in his sheets…struggling to keep up with the rouge pirate deep within him. Your screams would feel his fiery vigor. Hands interlaced. Hair tangled. Hearts intertwined.

As he looked up from his phone and activated his bluetooth his green eyes were greeted by you trying on a new outfit 30ft away. Arthur admired the way the new jeans hugged your butt. His pointer finger aggressively rubbed the top of his thumb. It was mean to ward off the budding heat that hit him suddenly. His eyes drank the rest of your body in. Your curves, luscious hair, and cute face… were all things he could never get enough of. Arthur wanted to be able to hold your cheeks forever within his gloved hand. He adored how your face ttrnasformed into a bright shade of ruby.

It didn’t take you long to recognize that there was a familiar blonde gawking at you. Your face felt like it had to be set alight by a match after being drenched in gasoline.

‘What in the world?! What is he dong here?’

Before you could think of a plan to try and evade him you see him and approach you at lightning speed. Arthur was eager to be near you and plunge himself within your warmth. Your eyes wide and brain slowed to a crawl. You came face-to-face with those verdant far fire eyes that greeted your (eye color) ones.

“Good-day Y/N. Heading out to a party this weekend?”

You could feel his eyes greedily take in your body and its crevices. You wanted to melt inside the new coat you’d tried on as your eyes took refuge to the marble floor below. You began to panic over the reason of why he’d come over to chat in the first place. Had you stuttered too much when you spoke? Was their an error in your latest report? Had you accidentally….

A leather-gloved hand guides your head to meet with the British man again. They had a bright shimmer that seemed to put your nerves at ease.

“Y/N are you alright? Your face is extremely flushed, love.” His thumb rubbed at one of your internally red cheeks. “Are you sure you are? If you need my assistance, I can lend you some of mine.”

“Oooh! Yeah. Yeah! I’m fine, Arthur. I’m just tired and didn’t feel like returning to my apartment yet….” Your eyes evade him much more than what you would do while in class. It was difficult for you to have his gloved hand encase your face. You didn’t know what he would want with someone who was boring and uninteresting like you. Unconsciously you began to back away so you could break free of his grip.

“Work? Why don’t you come to my place you seem a little out of it?”

“I assure you I’m fine.” Your feet suddenly are no longer propping you up. You’d taken a tumble on a rouge hanger. Arthur, of course, broke your fall, and his hands planted themselves around your waist.

‘They feel way better than I imagined. It’s like they were crafted from soft marble.’

“If you are, then why are you so skittish, love?” Blunt and bold but trying to keep you at ease. However, you were frozen like fresh lava meeting the cool ocean waters: totally feeling the heat and engulfed by the smoldering smoke created by the closeness of the two of you. Your mind was too clouded to think of a coherent reply.

Excitement coursed through the British man's veins. Arthur loved having you bound by his arms. He was getting closer to you bit by bit. At first, it began with a passionate snog. It can be innocent on the couch and nothing more has to transpire but if you’re okay with going further he’d be okay with shagging the night away.

For the hcs, I’ll expose the ones from my revolutionary croc au:

-Is Croc the one that stays the most with baby Luffy. It was his decision. Dragon is pretty busy, since is the supreme leader.

-They have a really deep and special bond, since the day Luffy was born.

-Croc gave a cute babanawani plush to Luffy and he can’t sleep without it!

-Croc never wears his hook when is around Luffy, he doesn’t wanna risk to hurt his baby.

-Croc built sand castles and other sand objects or animals just for Luffy entrainment. He uses in general his power for his kid, also for saving him sometimes… Luffy loves risky things.

-Due to their bond, Croc always understands his baby needs.

-Luffy can be exhausting, but Croc can’t be tired of him. Nothing will ever change his love for him 💞

-Croc doesn’t have milk, so he uses a baby feeding bottle. And is better for Croc, Luffy’s appetite is extreme even as a little baby!!

-Be nice around Luffy, or Croc will do everything for destroying you 😳

Just spoiling the big fishes for a bit I have seen so many fanarts where yuu starts to pet the tweels and they cling to yuu acting like those really clingy cats that when u pet them they feel the need to have both of ur hands or else u aren't fully committing to giving pets and they purr like loud as fuck too I would adore if there's an equal sound for mers similar to purring I think going "Furr/frr" is very cute just if the tweels were cats or THEY COULD PURR SOMEHOW I can hear them going either "fffRrrrRr...fur..FffFffrrr" or "ffffRRrrrRrrRRRRRR...FRR FRR FRR frr" if that makes sense

I don't think eels can purr but some fish can and that gives me enough of an excuse to say that the twins do too lol

I like to think that they're a lot more expressive in their merforms than in their human forms since there's a lot of body language stuff that they don't always realize. I think the stripes and speckles on their bodies glow not only in response to being underwater and needing to see, but also to their emotions.

Surprisingly, Floyd is a lot better at hiding his body language than Jade, mostly because he is already outspoken and doesn't hide most of his emotions (most...not all of them). Jade on the other hand, it's like his body knows he's trying to be secretive and mysterious. The reality is that he doesn't like to be vulnerable with others, and part of that is being honest with his emotions. So his merform compensates all that repressed emotions by making him a motherfucking glow stick.

It's great though when cuddling with one of them! You have to go into a shallow pool of water if on the beach or go to the side of the pool that lets you sit. But you can tell he's content when his tail sways back and forth and there's a little rumbling coming from his chest. It sounds a mix of growling and purring, and vibrates your chest as he holds onto you.

He's especially fond of the way you run your fingers along his fins and spines. You know as a kid when your mom would gently scratch your back or arm to help you fall asleep? It feels like that, very pleasant and almost tingly. It's also just nice to be with the person you love and have them shower you with such soft and sweet affections, so he can't really help the way he reacts. If it happens to be dark, you might even see him dully glow in response, getting brighter every time you scratch a particularly good spot! Even his ear fins will react, drooping down when pleased, it's awfully cute.

It's nice to be soft and sweet, everyone else is so scared of him and worried about pushing the wrong buttons that they forget he's just a dude! He's just a guy who loves his partner and their sweet way of loving him! But maybe that's intentional, maybe only you are allowed to see this side of him. A privilege, truly.
