Mitsuoka Rock Star, 2018. To celebrate their 50th anniversary the Japanese coachbuilder built 200 of these C2 Corvette replicas based on the ND generation Mazda MX-5. The cost, in 2018 was equivalent to $30,500/£23,700. In 2022 Mitsuoka built an additional one-off left hand drive Rockstar with a 2.0 litre engine (all other Rock Stars were powered by the MX-5's 1.5 litre DOHC Skyactiv-G motor).

Horrible, Cashew and I were trying to bake something out of an old recipe book he got passed down. And gods. I could not read those pages well for the life of me, they were so worn and weathered there I think I could have carbon dated them if I wanted!! And of course I had to be a bitch about numbers, "No, it says five tablespoons... No-- TEASPOONS of-" and it just kept going on like that. 5s and 8s looked exactly the same and I think I thought some 9s were 6s. Safe to say it was the Vanilla Extract Cake. At least he had some really good puns when it caught fire in the oven... and we had fun too maybe just a little (a lot)
