Day 2: Species

Decided to do something random and make one of my bots into a different species ^^ so here’s neraidan Abbey + a special guest uwu

Day 1: Intro

For this prompt, Gupi and Simi got tasked into the non-canon situation of building the sign for day 1. Simi suggested making it out of cut paper and Gupi agreed; both of them then realized neither of them are good at paper-craft at all, but hey, they had a good time trying uwu/

For a bit of context, Gupi (the one on the left) is actually dead, and, if he had not died, he would now be Simi’s (the one on the right) cousin uwuU

And is that time of the year again!

October is here, spoopy season start and the october art challenges are up and about once again!

And, per usual, the muzikbots server is hosting its own version of the challenge: the muziktober!

Now, we do things a little different on the server, since everyone has very busy lives, and we just want a challenge to get us drawing our bots, we divide all the prompts among whoever wishes to enter (basically, you have prompts that you must do, but you can also do whichever prompts you wish).

So you’ll see me publish these around for the whole month ^^

Intro to kripint planet: Stila

The current state of the planet is that 90% of the population got whipped out in the massive level 5 chroma attack (muzikbot lore here); this planet is also quite smaller than earth, so let’s say that this last 10% is approximately 3 million, not a bad number, but quite small compared to what they used to be and minimum compared to earth population.

This was around 300 years ago, and ever since then, repopulation became a main effort for the species.

The media of life expectancy is 100 years. For birth, 1 year of pregnancy is necessary and fertility starts around 15 years old (although adulthood is reached until 20 and this is the most acceptable age to start breeding).

And overall the planet has gotten good at these efforts, being able to increase populations to more than double in the past 300 years, trying to keep it at a steady pace that doesn’t compromise life quality.

However more issues arise over time. With an attack that fully chromatized or straight up killed 90% of the population, a good chunck of the planet and territory got compromised as well. Muzikbots got rid of all the chroma and did as many restorations as they could, but chromazomes also harvested chroma orbs like crazy from that planet and many places went completely ruined.

Because of this, new internal issues began to develop and different mindsets divided the masses:

-A big group continues to this day trying to hang onto the old ways: without pressure, kids are raised, those who want to get a mate can do so, those who want to start their own families are free to choose how and when to, there’s solidarity and culture is preserved. Despite the destruction, they stay strong, free and healthy.

-A second, more proud group, focus their efforts of forcing repopulation by all means and recover terrain by force if necessary, even if they have to go to other planets and do so by force. This group will force youngsters into get mating partners; some more considerate will allow them to choose but give them a time limit to do so, while the most hostile ones will arrange relationships for them once they’re on mating age.

-The third group is a rouge one, they consider themselves the most intelligent one because they came up with a “brilliant” idea: once adulthood is reached, kripints are encouraged to get out into the universe and mate with whatever species they can work their charm into. These group work under the method that, if the offspring is a kripint, they will bring them back into the planet to be raised as one of them; if they’re anything else, they get abandoned on that planet with their other parent. Everyone is free to use whatever method they want, and is even acceptable among these kripints to keep their own species secret from those they mate with; is not obligatory tho, some really try to be polite and explain everything to that other species, some even truly fall in love and say “fuck it” to their own kind, staying with their mate and family for life.

As for how they get from planet to planet: back in the day they used to have enough technology to teleport to nearby planets by channeling the magic of those with space-related magic powers; and they could even go further away by channeling those with reality magic, which is a very rare type. Even tho much of that technology was lost to the chroma apocalypse, some rudimentary methods were recovered and improved across time. The planet travelers basically jump from planet to planet with teleportation, as long as it is close enough and they have a special device on them, which uses energy from the environment.

About food: they eat whatever the heck they want, however, since everything about them is blood related, they diet is high in minerals and meats as well as, of course, blood

Kripints

Dominant species of planet Stila. Kripints are magical creatures, each individual specializing in a specific kind of magic (similar to muzikbot powers). This magic is produced from inside each kripint through the fluid that runs through their body, their blood if you may call it that way, you see, a Kripint’s blood is not liquid, not necessarily red and is not made out of cells; it has a glow to it, light as air and its color is the same as the eye color of the kripint. Is a very light magic semi-fluid.

Kripints are true omnivores, but since their power comes from blood, they have a certain fascination with it, and they can be as harmless as a mozquito or complete vampires about it, depending on each individual. About other foods, most will just have a taste every now and then tho, is not a requirement for their nutrition, is more like a treat like candy or beer.

In general, all kripints have the ability to fly, due to being extremely light (most of their body is made of this semi-gas fluid); as well as shape shifting. All of them have the ability to disguise themselves as any creature they taste the blood/main fluid from, although there are things that can’t change, like their hair and eye color. Other than these, the rest of their powers will come from the type of magic they have.

This is an original species I’ve been developing for the muzikbot universe, but also want to start just playing with around uwu the guys up there are just examples of how they can look. I’m gonna explain more, but will divide it in different posts ^^

Would it be valid to switch in between different lists for the october art challenge? Cause I wanna drive in with doing muzikbots one day, then zelda (linktober list), then pokemon (still looking for a list) and just switch daily -w-
