and so you did. you remembered him wearing a baby blue button down of light material, his buttons at the top were undone and you couldn't risk your dad meeting your boyfriend like that, so you had to button it up for him while giving him a pep talk.

"jjun, there's no way you're making your first impression on them like this." you sorted out his collar, sliding your hands past his collarbones and resting them on his broad shoulders.

"yeah well," he kissed your forehead, "it worked on you."

he would always tease you like this in private, and it was a version of him you found so attractive. and luckily, your parents approved of him to being your boyfriend. your mom thought he was responsible, and even the gesture of driving you home was something your mom took into account. your dad surprisingly liked him just as much, after bonding about cars and being the respectful gentle man yeonjun was, your dad approved.

when it came round to your first evening date, you were ready in your pretty black dress, the skirt just resting above your knees and you were excited, but you were also intrigued to see how your dad would react to this date.

the moment yeonjun arrived he was stood by your front porch with a bouquet of flowers.

"good evening, I'll be taking yn out for our date." he shook your dad's hand, nice and firm while you waited for his response.

"I don't want any funny business tonight, okay?"

"understood, I'll bring her home early after the dinner." yeonjun had his charming smile adorned on his perfectly pink lips that could woo the heart of anyone, and your dad just so happened to have a soft spot for him, not to mention he was impressed with the respect he held out for him.

he wore a white pinstripe dress shirt and in all honesty, he looked incredible in it. you play with the dainty pendant on his necklace, twirling it with your fingers as you lean in to kiss his exposed neck. he sighs from the contact, pulling you closer to him.

“or how about we spend the night in, hm? we could rest… and cuddle… or sleep... ? ” he drags out each suggestion, definitely not what he’s trying to insinuate. he tucks a lose strand behind your ear before kissing the junction where your jawline meets the bottom of your ear, “or you could be a good girl for me and I could–”

“daddy,” you whine breathlessly, “I’m always a good girl, regardless.”

you earn an endearing chuckle from him as he looks down and shakes his head. “you’re right, my sweet girl is always good, only to me.” he kisses your forehead and then grabs your coat, holding it out for you to slide your arms through.

“I want to stop over at my parents’ house before we go to the restaurant. Just gonna drop off the gifts I bought for them.” you look up at him and catch the slight smirk upon his lips. “now what’s that for?”

you can tell he’s refraining from grinning so much, his lips are starting to tip into his attractive downward smile.

“want me to tell your dad you call me daddy too?” he playfully winks at you before taking out his keys to unlock the car.

it wasn’t until he looked back at you when he realised you were shaking your head at him.

“what? it’s true though.” he laughs.

“I know, baby. but that stays between us.” you kiss his cheek before walking to the car together.
