("B" in "MEB" stands for Blanche; "MEB" = "Mime En Blanche".)

[More development trivia: The original MEB project I was developing was centered around just Annalogue and Domino, but as the development time for MEB was postponed and I started discovering more Rachet's artwork and his OCs character, Mute especially, I figured it would be fun to have Mute included as a third member, thus changing the 'MEB' dynamic from a duo into a trio. It helps that there are some existing artwork with Domino and Mute together, so I felt this would easily lend itself towards that. The last thing I'll say here is that it also helped me come up with a additional bonus art concepts I wanted to put together with this particular art project.]

I have some silly questions :0

Are mime and sign language communities overlap at all? Do mimes use sign language or only use gestures?

Lastly if a clown uses only sign lang and gestures and prefers black and white clothing.. are they mime? Or is it all about self identification? Or is it not as blurred as I imagine it to be? Or mime is under the clown umbrella now?

I'm new to all of this but very curious

Y'all do know that Jesters and Harlequins are . . . different, right?

Harlequins may wear similar clothing to a Jester, but there are a lot of differences.

Firstly, Harlequins are completely mute (similar to a mime), whereas Jesters are extremely noisy, and tend to make lewd jokes.

In addition, their diets and preferred performance areas are seperate. Jesters prefer traditional European and Middle Eastern treats (think dates and bread), while Harlequins are primarily carnivorous. Jesters prefer to perform in taverns and ballrooms, while Harlequins enjoy forests and large, cluttered rooms.
