"Purple Rain was originally intended to be a country song, for Stevie Nicks to sing. But Stevie told Prince after a while she couldn't handle it, so he and the Revolution practice for 6 hours straight until they got it down to the Prince version of Purple Rain we all know. Yep."
Purple Rain (bluegrass version) Dwight Yoakam Verse 1:] I never meant to cause you any sorrow I never meant to cause you any pain I only wanted to one time to see you laughing I only wanted to see you Laughing in the purple rain [Chorus:] Purple rain, purple rain Purple rain, purple rain Purple rain, purple rain I only wanted to see you Bathing in the purple reign [Verse 2:] I never wanted to be your weekend lover I only wanted to be some kind of friend Baby, I could never steal you from another It's such a shame our friendship had to end [Chorus:] Purple rain, purple rain Purple rain, purple rain Purple rain, purple rain I only wanted to see you Bathing in the purple reign [Verse 3:] Honey, I know, I know I know times are changing It's time we all reach out For something new, that means you too You say you want a leader But you can't seem to make up your mind I think you better close it And let me guide you to the purple rain [Chorus:] Purple rain, purple rain Purple rain, purple rain Purple rain, purple rain I only wanted to see you Bathing in the purple rain"

"A cover like this and Dwight Yoakam's make perfect sense. It started out as a country song. google "How we made Prince's Purple Rain" Interviews by Michael Hann for The Guardian. Prince played keys on Stevie Nick's Stand Back. Then gave her a 10 minute instrumental. Asked her to write lyrics. She was intimidated by it so turned it down. He let the Revolution play around with it after rehearsals. Wendy played the first few chords and dragged them out. Then they mixed genres for the rest of the song for 6 hrs. There's a reason it was called Prince and the Revolution. He certainly was the driving force but he let them have their input. Dr. Fink his lead keyboard player said the song Delirious came out of playing Elvis and rockabilly songs in rehearsals. Dr. Fink has a classical and jazz piano training and played with him for about 10yrs. "

Creative Spotlight #1: Kim Hongjoong
Masterlist
Intro: With so many new Atinys coming in, I figured now would be a good time to shed some light on all the boys' creative solo projects over the years, big and small.
Photography
Hongjoong's love for photography goes way back to his predebut days. In one of the first videos ever uploaded to their channel, you can already see him holding a camera on the set of Pirate King.
2 years ago, in 2022, he got to announce his first photo exhibition, FROM NOVEMBER 7, 1998, as a birthday present to himself, which took place from November 1st to 7th at gallery99 and was used to collect money for charity.
There was no entrance fee but spots had to be reserved online to ensure there'd be no dangerous crowding. During the exhibition, there was a little event planned for all attendees in which fans could collect points which were then converted to money that was later donated under Hongjoong and Atiny's name. The total donated amount was 10 million won!
In Logbook Episode 101, we got to see Hongjoong visit the exhibition himself and take a stroll through memory lane.
Due to the success of the 2022 exhibition, Hongjoong held another one last year which took place between November 3rd and 9th, 2023, and was titled A Walker - the event was accompanied by the release of an original song and led to the donation of 50 million won under Hongjoong's and Atiny's name to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation.
BY. HONGJOONG
Back in 2018, Hongjoong shared during their stay in LA as KQ Fellaz, that he barely went to school since he already started producing music during his high school days. And yes, this is during the same tear jerking monologue where he calls Ateez his family for the first time and says he needs to hurry so he can see their sleeping faces before he goes to bed.
youtube
The first time we get to see Hongjoong fully in action as a producer is during his first 1-Day-Vlog in 2020 in which he's working on his Prince cover (more on that in a second).
But now to the main event: Hongjoong has an entire series going where he covers some of his all time favorite songs. Whenever he does, he likes to make the songs his own by recording his own instrumental track and typically adding an additional Korean rap verse with self-written lyrics highlighting his interpretation of the song's message.
youtube
Kicking things off with Space Oddity by David Bowie, a classic.
Side Note: As a lover of unisex clothing/androgyny, Hongjoong is likely not just inspired musically by Bowie, but also fashion wise. You can learn more about Bowie's influence on the climate surrounding gender and sexuality here.
Dressed in white, matching both his hair and the background, Hongjoong turned himself into a clean canvas on which he projected first footage of Bowie and later some floating orbs - it's very aesthetic.
Between the original verses and chorus, he placed a Korean rap verse in which he writes from Major Tom's perspective and laments his mental state while stuck alone in outer space, asking ground control to tell his mom he loves her while stating he still appreciates the beauty of space but feels lost and lonely all by himself.
youtube
Next up, we've got Purple Rain by Prince, another classic.
Side Note: Like Bowie, Prince too was famous for being androgynous in how he presented himself and toying with what society deemed masculine and feminine. He's famous to this day among the queer community for how persistently he defied gender norms and labels. Learn more about him here.
Instead of filming himself, we get a lyric video this time, fully kept in pastel lavender. Once again, Hongjoong added a rap verse of his own in which he speaks to a lost friend, talking about how he hopes that, even though they're apart now, his friend will still recall him as being sincere and that they can still think of each other fondly and remember the good times.
youtube
In a far more elaborate production, we've got Black or White by Michael Jackson up next.
Using green screen and multiple outfits, we get a fun spectacle of a little passion project featuring multiple versions of Hongjoong, background collages, emojis, and more:
Despite being shorter than the other covers, we still get the signature rap verse preceded by his famous giggle and, this time, he's got quite a bit to say.
Diving into the lyrics, he talks about how we're all different colors. Colors which are meant to be mixed. Our roots don't define us. Throughout life, we'll all get mixed up with each other, as we should. He doesn't want to see us divided. To quote: "What's wrong with you, babe? Stop it. You've already experienced the 20th century. Blah blah by dividing groups."
The song ends with the rap verse before the video dives into the making of in which Hongjoong specifically addresses his intent to talk about social issues like Michael Jackson famously used to while he was alive (think: They Don't Really Care About Us).
youtube
So long time by Yoon Jong Shin comes next with a sepia-toned video featuring Hongjoong at a grand piano. It's a pretty ballad highlighting his vocals and the use of multiple camera angles allows us to watch him play.
Shortly before we hit the 2 minute mark, Hongjoong gets up and we transition from the shot of the piano to a cassette player while the audio shifts to the original for a moment before Hongjoong returns.
We've reached the rap verse where he mourns a lost love, speaking of memories he can't let go of, even as he pretends everything is okay. He's cold and lonely now, a little mad at himself for continuously getting lost in the memories, and calls himself a fool before we return to the cover-part of the song.
At 3:58, the song wraps up and we've reached the making of section of the video where he talks about how his cover stems from the idea of a time machine taking you through the song, with the first verse (playing the piano) being the past, the rap verse symbolizing the present, and the memories then taking back over as he gets lost in them, leading to the piano's return.
youtube
Next up, we've got Last Christmas by Wham! which opens to a short clip of Hongjoong's acting on a pretty Christmas film set before we transition to a simple white back drop.
This time, the signature rap verse comes in early at 50 seconds with a little giggle before he talks about leaving the past in the past and moving on, letting the snow settle over painful memories.
However, this time, we also get a second rap verse at 1:45, where it becomes clear he hasn't moved on at all, plus a Korean vocal section at 2:43 which carries through to the end. Here, he highlights even further that he hopes they'll reconnect next winter so they can leave the painful past behind and live out a shared future.
youtube
Hongjoong in his emo era. This is the first Ateez-related video I've ever seen because I was born in '96 and my emo phase never ended so of course this was recommended to me when it was first released.
Numb by Linkin Park got the full Hongjoong treatment and was even reported on by Rolling Stone, quote:
The cover began trending on social media and YouTube within hours of its release, but the true prize came a day later when it caught the attention of Linkin Park themselves. The rock band’s official Twitter account ‘liked’ the post on ATEEZ’s page, with co-founder and vocalist Mike Shinoda confirming on a livestream that he’d seen and enjoyed the cover. As of this writing, Hongjoong’s version of “Numb” has over half a million views on YouTube and has garnered tremendous praise from Linkin Park’s fans.
We get the black eye makeup and nail polish, the plaid half skirt, the dramatic music video with fake fog and red lighting. The rap verse comes in hard, talking about getting mentally weighed down by an abuser and finally breaking free, cutting the ties.
As a long time Linkin Park fan, I love how unique this cover is and Chester would've loved it too I'm sure. I wish he could've seen it.
youtube
Fools Garden's Lemon Tree is another classic and I come back to it on the regular because the video has such a unique vibe and the song is famous for getting stuck in your head.
The video features Hongjoong alone in a house surrounded by colorful toys and games, bored out of his mind and visibly seeking a distraction from life but failing to find something, no matter how out of pocket his thinking gets.
Shoutout to the license plate - it's the release date of the song, November 3rd, 1995.
At 1:33, Hongjoong sprints off to the basement which is doused in red and we get a warped version of his signature giggle before the rap verse kicks in. The camera work in this section reminds me a bit of his rap verse in Not Okay.
While down there, he gets more and more deranged, talking about being locked up day by day, imprisoned, losing track of time, but being unable to break out. Instead of trying to escape, he just attempts to distract himself, listening to sad songs on a loop until his pain disappears and his world switches back to yellow.
Busking Event
In 2021, Hongjoong decided to put together a busking event featuring live performances of some covers, plus acoustic versions of some of their songs. Accompanying him were both Ateez and Maddox. You can find the full playlist here:
Collaboration
3 months ago, Chungha made a return to the music scene after escaping her former label and chose Hongjoong as a collaboration partner for her new debut. Beyond his rap verse, she also incorporated a move from Crazy Form in the choreography (she's lovely):

Wednesday Music Review Poll
Wikipedia: Bluegrass music is a genre of American roots music that developed in the 1940s in the Appalachian region of the United States. The genre derives its name from the band Bill Monroe and the Blue Grass Boys. Like mainstream country music, it largely developed out of old-time music, though in contrast to country, it is traditionally played exclusively on acoustic instruments and also kept its roots in traditional English, Scottish and Irish ballads and dance tunes, as well as incorporating blues and jazz. It was further developed by musicians who played with Monroe, including 5-string banjo player Earl Scruggs and guitarist Lester Flatt. Bill Monroe once described bluegrass music as, "It's a part of Methodist, Holiness and Baptist traditions. It's blues and jazz, and it has a high lonesome sound."
Voters are encouraged to make suggestions for repeat polls featuring this genre in the future. Know of a good cover that wasn't an entry in this poll? Drop it in the replies!
(Please keep it to the replies of this post and do not send an ask. This is to keep the suggestions organized in one place.)

Gwen Stefani was hard at work on the Oklahoma ranch she shares with Blake Shelton in images shared on Monday.
Stefani, 54, who reunited with No Doubt for the first time in nine years at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, was on a mission to sew some flower seeds in a series of videos shared in her Instagram Stories.
The Purple Irises singer and Shelton were riding in the golf cart style vehicle they use to zip around their ranch as Stefani explained, 'We've got about five seconds to plant some zinnias, you call them "zin-ee-as"' we call them "zeen-ee-as." We made the up ourselves,' she told the camera.
The couple were trying to beat the rain which was coming their way.
Shelton, 47, who seemed intent on driving, seemed hesitant to speak on camera at the same time, and received a little coaching from his wife who said, 'C'mon Blake, we're trying to engage with the humans. Engage.'
'We've got five minutes worth of zinnias to plant,' he said, echoing her words.
'Did you see Blake's new glasses?' the It's My Life artist asked, laughing at her husband's response as he made a goofy face for the camera.
When the couple arrived at the barn where they store their machinery, the God's Country singer started up the rototill while Stefani went to the back of the machine to talk about the seeds she wanted to plant.
'I bought these giant California mix, five thousand,' she explained while bending to pick up another packet. 'These are really cute, Lilliput zinnia mix, semi-dwarf collection. Typically we wouldn't want shorter, but they're very cute, she explained.
Even on the farm, the GXVE by Gwen founder managed to remain fashionable.
She wore full face makeup with thick lashes and a neutral lip with her blond hair in a high bun.
She wore a long red and black plaid shirt with rolled up sleeves over matching plaid pants and a black T-shirt.
The fashionista wore knee high boots covered with light denim.
'You got to slow down, you got to slow your life down,' the Home singer advised. 'A simple kind of life?' the rocker quipped, referring to one of her biggest hits. 'Yes,' answered Shelton.
At last they arrived at their destination. 'Here it is, the field we're going to conquer,' Stefani explained showing a plot of prepared land near a body of water.
'We're going to destroy this field with flowers,' she revealed.
After their work on the farm, the devoted pair attended their niece Ryan Intrieri's cheer competition, and shared photos they took with the young athlete.

INTRODUCTION POST #1 02.9.2024
ENTRY #1: JELLI
My name is Jelli! my image color is strawberry pink and my zodiac is Taurus ♡ I was born in Japan and moved to southern california during primary school. I was always into idols when I was in middle school but didn't really understand what they were outside of "JPop" I just liked the music and costumes and even sang idol covers online back in the early 2010's. I joined the group because I wanted to perform with my friends and create music and art that was true to ourselves. I do feel like sometimes I can be the "frosting?" to the cake that is Aqu♡rius. I do a lot of the design and brand work. My specialty is marketing so I want to make sure our group story is communicated well. I LOVE light and simple desserts like strawberry cake, shortbread cookies, and strawberry chocolates. I also love Siopao which is a filipino steamed meat bun... so comforting, everything you need in one package. My favorite part about being in the group is performing together! I love being able to perform on stage with my friends, I can't describe the feeling better... we work so hard and being able to come together on a stage is exhilarating. I enjoy laughing and brainstorming together when working with Aqu♡rius. We all are so unique and have so many different ideas for the group and having it all come together is like one huge melting pot of gold! My dreams for the future are to perform overseas with Aqu♡rius. Ideally I would love if we all are able to go to Japan together and perform. For myself I want to also create more solo music and show everyone what Jelli can do!
ENTRY #2: LILY
Hello~ I am Lily! My image color is princess pink and my symbol is a princess crown. My sun and moon is a scorpio and my rising is a sagittarius. I was born in one of the more diverse cities in Southern California. Growing up Filipino, we love our karaoke! I would sing all the time at the parties when I was little. I remember wanting to become a popstar, like Hannah Montana. When Aqu♡rius was still an Aqours cosplay dance group, I was, actually, a part of their very first cover, Koi ni Naritai Aquarium in 2016. However, I was just subbing in at the time. In 2018, I temporarily joined Aqu♡rius again to be their Ruby for their Awaken the Power music video. When I did my last performance with them, I remember crying because I had such an amazing time hanging out, practicing and performing with them. It felt like I fit right in, and it saddened me that it was only for a short time. Later in 2019, they officially recruited me as a member to play Ruby. Of course, I said yes and joined! I feel like I am the organizer of the group. I help a lot with setting dates, making schedules, and help keep the group on track! I also love making the lyrics distribution and formation. Especially when we have to adjust a 10-person choreo to 7. It feels like I’m solving a puzzle and I love solving puzzles!! I am such a foodie! I have my holy trinity of food that makes me happy: Shabu Hot Pot, Sushi, and Seafood boil. I also love anything spicy. I think I have the highest spice tolerance amongst my members. My favorite part about being in Aqu♡rius is performing with a great group of friends. I’ve always wanted to perform, ever since I was a kid. I thought that life was impossible until I met them. I feel the most at-home when I am on stage doing what I love. I love how we are consistently trying to improve ourselves and each other. We get to see each other grow. It’s such a rewarding feeling. My dream for the future is to perform overseas with Aqu♡rius! Maybe..Japan…at Tokyo IdolFest…? Haha! My personal goals for myself is to make more original songs and content!
ENTRY #3: HALEY
Hello everyone! My name is Haley and I am the berry purple member of Aquarius. My birthday is on November 24th and my zodiac sign is Sagittarius. I was born and raised in Southern California where it has always has been hot and anytime it rained it was like the streets are drowning. I grew up pretty much my whole life in a small town kind of in the middle of nowhere. I do like my little town life and I really prefer that over the big cities.Through out my childhood I have always been active and I tried several different sports and activities such as softball, volleyball, etc. and then in high school I did cheer. In terms of hobbies, I was introduced to anime and cosplay by my best friend Ko in middle school and that is how I ended up meeting Aquarius later on after I graduated high school. Speaking of Aquarius, I joined the group after being introduced to the other members of Aquarius through Ko and I have been a part of the group since. I joined the group because I was interested in continuing to perform since in high school I did cheer and I loved performing and doing something in that realm. I thought this would be a great opportunity to do something new, fun and exciting with a group of wonderful individuals who have the same interests. I also wanted to make new friends and meet new people. My role in Aquarius is pretty much I offer to do whatever is needing to be done. As in if anyone needs help doing anything I try to offer up. My favorite foods honestly include a lot of desserts or sweets. I just love making and eating sweets. I got more into baking recently and for the first time I made my mom’s recipe for lemon bars and they turned out amazing even if they were not perfect. In terms of savory foods, I love sushi and pasta/noodle dishes.
My favorite part about being in the group is just being with such amazing, talented, lovely people and just making something amazing together. It was honestly so cool and amazing to make Racketball together and just seeing how everything came together in the end. I cannot wait to make more music and create more with Aquarius! What I enjoy most about working with Aquarius is that sometimes things can be stressful, but we still know how to have fun together because in the end we are a group of friends that found each other and now we are one big family. My dream for the future is to make more music with Aquarius and I think it would be cool to travel more together as a group and perform.
ENTRY #4: J
Hey! It’s Shooting Star Idol, J! ✨✌🏽 My image color is Golden Yellow and my pronouns are they/he/siya (siya is a gender-neutral pronoun in the Tagalog that can used to refer to anyone)! I was born in SoCal and raised by my Filipino migrant family. The culture I was raised in influenced me to care a lot about music, dance, food, and history! I was exposed to anime and manga at a young age (lol), and through my own internet rummaging, I ended up hyper-fixating on Vocaloid, K-On!, and idols from all over the world!
Joining Aqu♡rius at the end of 2017 was a surprise! I had only gotten to know Aqours in October of that year and my baby gay dream of joining a full Love Live cosplay group came true soon after. I was eager to incorporate singing to our covers since then so I’m not surprised that Aqu♡rius has shifted to the direction it has gone now! I think I am the music guy a lot of the time for the group, but I also lead in teaching and cleaning the singing and dancing lessons. Some of my favorite foods right now are stone fruits like mangoes, peaches, nectarines, and plums!
My favorite part about working in a group is actually flourishing and developing each other’s creativity! Working on things collectively makes the results of our hard work more valuable and special since we all contributed to its development :) It’s also cool that we all have many talents and a huge majority of our work is self-produced! One goal for me is that I want to get to know all of you more! I’ve met so many people through idol activities who have shared with me their passions and optimisms and I want to be able to help uplift those who want to build community with others. As for Aqu♡rius specifically, it would be really exciting to eventually have a setlist full of only our original music!
ENTRY #5: EGGY
Helloo! I am Eggy (she/they), the cherry red member of Aqu♡rius. My birthday is on April 4th, which I think its quite fitting that my sun sign is Aries (the red imagery is burned into my soul ♥). I am also a socal native, and growing up I was always an artsy kid- loved doing any arts and crafts and creation that I could get my hands on. That artistry eventually led me to anime (I was obsessed with the art style of course), then to cosplay, and that slippery slope led me to where I am now. The Love Live to Idol pipeline is real, and I'd like to personally thank my girls Umi and Yohane for helping me along the way. Originally, I was kind of the one who started what would become Aqu♡rius, through a Love Live cosplay group that eventually evolved and led to us becoming what we are today. Because I had never had any formal training in dancing, and especially singing before, it took a little while for me to sort of ruminate on the idea of being kaigai idols when Jelli suggested we switch over from Love Live cosplay dance covers to doing what we do today, but I couldn't see myself doing this with any other group of people, and am so thankful I took the plunge. It was rather stifling being contained in a character's box, so being able to deviate from that by doing whatever we want, and ultimately just being more creative with the whole process has been amazing. As for my role in the group,,,, I have a hard time putting an exact word to it. Honestly, I feel like my strengths are in the ideas I have. I get smacked on the head with inspiration when I'm with everyone and just want to design and create faster than I can realistically keep up with. I love making art for our concepts and visuals, as well as designing when I can. I cannot lie to you guys, ice cream cannot be beat for me, I love it so much. My top tier flavor is rose, but that's hard to get so other favs are pistachio, and strawberry. Besides ice cream, I absolutely love börek, and highly recommend trying it if you haven't yet. The best thing about being a part of Aqu♡rius is just being able to be with everyone. I genuinely love and care about everyone so much and it's actually so insane to me that we have been able to create this and come so far from where we started. It's an honor to surround myself with such wonderful and inspiring people that choose to dedicate their time and energy into this project of ours. My dream for us is to continue creating- new songs, dances, events, ideas- whatever it may be. I hope one day we can host our own event with multiple original tracks (coughs I think everyone having a solo song would be so incredibly cool) and create a space for other idols in the community to do what they love to do. As for myself, I just want to continue improving, so I can be proud of every performance I do.
ENTRY #6: TUNA
Hallooo everyone!! It’s Tuna! My image color is sage green and my zodiac sign is Gemini sun, Aquarius moon and Virgo rising. I grew up in a small suburban town in Socal. I was the token weird anime kid growing up. I started cosplaying in 2011, a passion that led me to finding Eggy in 2013 at a local cosplay meetup. As my passion for anime grew, it sparked an interest in Japanese music. I found Vocaloid and quickly became a devout fan to producers and then utaites. Joining aqu♡rius was really something that basically was just a long term manifestation... I was always longing for a cosplay group. Even more, I wanted friends to sing with, a secret passion I had after finding out what a nico nico chorus was. I would have never imagined to find both in the same wonderful group. I would probably consider myself the glue of aqu♡rius. Which is to say, I am the goof that keeps us together and laughing. In reality, my range of contributions is wide, I love being a multi disciplinary artist and my contributions are eclectic and a result of random inspiration. My main focus is writing lyrics and costume construction and misc design. My favorite meal lately has been eggs in a basket toast, and favorite fruits are donut peaches and cherries! My favorite part about being in Aqu♡rius is the simple ability to create together. Aqu♡rius has inspired so much growth and change within myself and has taught me so much about how to manage my time and resources. I am so grateful for our shared experience and promise to do my best in the future too! My dream for us as a group is to travel internationally together… As for myself, I want to make more friends in this community! I also desire to keep growing my musical practice, I want to learn to play an instrument!
ENTRY #7: EDEN
Hi! I’m Eden, the shiny knife idol of AQU♡RIUS! So knife to meet you all!! You might recognize me as the pearl gray member (that’s white on your penlights!) I’m a Sagittarius sun with a Scorpio moon :) I’ve been into vocaloid since I was a wee little butter knife, I’m pretty sure when I was still in elementary school.. Then it evolved into Love Live!! And that’s where I started my idol journey! I already loved dancing since the Luka★Luka Night Fever flash mobs were popularized, and baby Eden just loved watching little dances from then on out. (I still bop to Mascara Blue Jeans often hehe)
I initially joined for a Love Live!! Cosplay group, and we just started performing.. Then added singing.. And wow here we are! Popped out like a fresh egg. I love my friends so it was really easy to get the ball rolling with everyone’s reassurance. My role? I really contribute what I can without stepping on anyone’s toes! My specialty is doodling for merch, and sometimes being the comedic relief when needed. It’s really cool seeing my drawings be made into little charms and keychains!!
My favorite food is cheesecake… I LOVE cheesecake.. I could eat a whole cheesecake by myself in an hour if I could.. Any type of pasta is also a comfort food, so is sinigang (filipino sour soup). Any rice is good.. I just love my carbs..
My favorite part about being here is the fact that it’s really just a group of my best friends performing together! They’re all such wonderful people that It makes me feel so incredibly lucky to have met all 6 of them at the time that I did. They all know how to make me laugh or reassure me of something that I need clarification on. I don’t think I could really achieve that with just a group that didn’t start as friends first. I don’t really have any specific dreams at the moment..! I just follow where the waters take us. Performing with AQU♡RIUS is already a dream in itself.. As for me, I’m always improving little by little, it’s not always linear, but that just makes me want to work harder. One day I’ll be completely proud of myself! I’ll get there with everyone!!

Tagged by @future-dregs to answer a few questions, thank you!!
~~~
Do you make your bed?
Making sure sheets are on and the pillows and doona are in their covers? Almost always. Neatly putting the doona over the bed so it looks pretty? Rarely, the cats just undo it anyway lol. I usually leave it open for the perfect closing as soon as I get in haha, plus I think it's good to have the sheets in the sun sometimes
What's your favourite number?
9
What is your job?
Unemployed but looking for work......
If you could go back to school, would you?
Highschool or anything below? FUCK NO. Tertiary education? I'm considering it, I do enjoy learning, I just don't like the inherent stress of my grades/performance being tied to my income/living situation. I'd just like to learn without the extra stress that doesn't need to be there, and it's nice having the guidance from someone who knows what they're doing instead of self teaching sometimes...
Can you parallel park?
Can't drive at all lol
A job you had that would surprise people?
I feel like no one should be surprised I've been an assistant editor and done freelance video editing and illustration. Maybe the surprising one is when I was a student mentor for my uni?
Do you think aliens are real?
Yes, but I don't know if they'd be recognisable to us at first. Maybe we've already noticed them but don't know it cause we have a different understanding/classification of life. I refuse to believe we're the only life out there, but maybe we're in a quiet part of the galaxy and haven't explored far enough yet haha
Can you drive a manual car?
No... No licence can't drive
What's your guilty pleasure?
Idk. I don't really feel guilty about that stuff. Maybe a handful of games or movies or whatever that are objectively crap but I like them..?
Tattoos?
None... Yet. Maybe I'll get some, idk
Favourite colour?
Black, purple or red. Reds a new one, but I've always loved black and purple
Favourite type of music?
Hiiiii!!!! I saw you were doing Bg3 Pairings and if you’re able I’d be interested in submitting mine. I’ve only don’t this like one other time but I think these a fun so far :))
Age: 19
She/ Her Cis
Myers Briggs: INTP
Likes: Cats (especially mine), Animals in general, classical art, most kinds of music (especially rock and alternative), horror movies, gothic literature, being outside
Dislikes: Cat and Animals Haters, loud noises, people who are very angry all the time, modern pop, Wasps, people who don’t appreciate art and artists, Peas, Lima Beans :(
Favorite Feature: My eyes, most people say I have pretty eyes so I guess thats my most outstanding feature
Favorite Food: Steak and Lobster (also cookies, god I love cookies)
Song that would describe me: Squaring Up by Sir Chloe
Interests: Art, Writing, Going outdoors especially in the rural countryside or in the woods, cats
Hobbies: Drawing, Writing, Reading, Swimming, Weightlifting, dancing, spending time with my cats, listening to music
Mini Description: I’m 5’6, 175 lbs, muscular build, I have shoulder length black dyed hair with purple roots and blunt bangs. I’m goth so I dress in all black like all the time, sometimes I add in some darker colors. Im kind of a quite person until you start talking to me and then I can’t stop yapping about one of my hobbies or interest or some niche topic I really like. It’s funny though because some people are scared to talk to me when they first meet me, and trust me im literally just a goofball who is obsessed with art and cats. When im not studying for my classes im usually working on my comic book that I want to publish and/or working on animation because I want to be an animator and make a show out of my comic book. I like to keep busy, I don’t like to stay still lol
Anyways have a good day/night! Thank you for your time! :D
(i am staring at you with jealousy and disrespect, also you have good taste in music.)
this was a bit more difficult, but ultimately made my decision because sir chloe is very karlach coded, and so is disliking lima beans.
i get that in people are afraid to talk to you, i've heard in some alt subcultures that's the general vibe! i find that those who may be the scariest are the sweetest at heart.
i feel like both of you have an orange cat energy about you, if that makes sense. im feelin, red velvet cupcakes, and those chocolate covered cherries people buy from the dollar store during Christmas time. no clue why anyone would like them, but they're sold nonetheless.
(dunno if that's the most American thing i've said, will someone let me know if it is.)
a couple of odd balls if you catch my drift.
also, you can steal her clothes, though in a modern sense karlach would probably just be in baggy tees and sweats. always the best outfit to have in ones wardrobe.
one thing of her affection would be insisting for you to do her eyeliner, special bonding time, per se.
it reminds me of that image of the two girls doing each-others makeup. :'D
i think because you both have scary dog energy she probably will need to offset it by being bright and bubbly.
a date seems like snuggles when you cant sleep late at night, so you give into the insomnia and watch video essays together, with cups of tea of course. perhaps building a pillow fort!
im sure she would love cats, a little guy in her house!!! a creature just chilling there!!! wow!!!!!
scents would be, rain on concrete, and water left in a water-bottle for too long. both positive things i suppose.
hope you enjoyyyed
BTS’ Suga Holds His Own in Moody, Theatrical Concert Debut
For Suga of BTS, D-day arrives with a storm of thunder and lightning amid a purple haze. At the opening of his Agust D tour at New York’s UBS Arena, the rain heralds a bold, and oftentimes fiery, two-hour testament to his artistry and drive. The tour kicked off on April 26 and will continue across the U.S. through May. Suga’s solo spot is the first tour by an individual member of the history-making South Korean group, and he’ll spend the rest of the spring touring across Asia. On the second of his two nights at UBS, April 27, Suga spent his time on stage rapping, singing, and ruminating on the different facets of his career thus far: Suga of BTS, his alternate persona Agust D, and himself, Min Yunki.
The concert unveils itself like a noir musical. Each segment has its own subtitle — Yunki “exists in memory,” while Suga is “lost in memory,” and Agust D is “the Chaser” — and with each set, K-pop star, hip-hop producer and citizen of the earth all come to the forefront, bookended by the incensed opening song “Haegum” and culminating in the very-fitting finale of “The Last,” for which Suga sits on stage and is captured from all angles on nine shots, portrayed as surveillance footage.
The show’s title comes from Suga’s persona as a soloist, and arrives after he has declared the end of his Agust D trilogy with this month’s “D-Day” album, and the multiple aspects of who this individual is, was, and will be is the prevalent theme throughout the night. Do you face down your past by putting it on-screen and staring it down? Do you sacrifice it on a pyre for your present self to thrive? Do you relive it? Do you forget it? Suga spends the show exploring all these sides, with burning, raging energy and show of his musical and performance skills, honed through a career that began over a decade ago.
The performance is almost an exorcism of sorts of all the tough times and harsh feelings, with the star declaring an end to the rage, even as he showcases it. “As you know, many of my solo songs are quite intense,” he declared to the crowd. “But from now [on], I want to tell my stories with less anger.” The setlist presents the BTS member off at his fieriest, oftentimes literally with roaring fire and firework pyrotechnics bolstering the most intense moments. Anger has shaped a lot of Agust D’s music, as relayed by the way boisterous, candid aggressiveness of songs shape most of the show, with his “Cyphers” and a run through of “UGH!,” “Ddaeng” and “HuH?!” especially to invigorate the crowd of ARMY. But softer moments include a version of “Seesaw” he performs while strumming a guitar inlaid with traditional Korean mother of pearl patterns and covered with the signatures of the other BTS members, and a poignant memorial to late music icon Ryuichi Sakamoto ahead of “Snooze,” on which the two collaborated along with Woosung of Korean band the Rose.
Ahead of Suga’s performance of “Snooze,” a video plays showing Sakamoto and the rapper with one another, working on music together. It looks like a grandfather with a grandson, a generational torch being passed, and it feels only fitting when considering the Agust D tour is a celebration, a commemoration of all Suga has accomplished since he began pursuing the fraught path of being a professional musician and has now reached such immense heights. This is highlighted during “Amygdala,” a raw reflection from “D-Day” recalling many of the hardships that have brought Suga to where he is, relayed in the concert with on-screen effects showing the star as a shattered individual.
While it has all the technical value of a typical BTS performance, Suga’s Agust D show is a bit different than what people may imagine from the first solo tour by a member of a record-breaking and hit-making boy band: he is in comfortable clothes, barely dances — though is bolstered by a great team of backup dancers — and at times dips below the stage’s view to sit in a lounge area, where he rests in an armchair and plays piano. It has the feel of an intimate dinner-theater performance, but elevated to an arena.
Seeing as this show was his solo debut as a live artist, Suga more than held his own physically, and even told the crowd he was a bit concerned about how his condition would hold up for a second night. “I was quite worried before I came on stage today,” he shared. “But was today okay?” The crowd’s roar of approval make it clear that Suga was certainly more than okay.
As the night came towards an end, Suga closed with some comforting parting words to his fans: “I promise, I guarantee, I will come back. So please be there then like you’re here with me now.”
Teen-Z: Forever Young #1-I Don’t Wanna Be Your Ex (Part 1)
Sun shines bright. Pinky walks through the streets holding in her hands deep purple notebook. She walks to the Z-Ville Day Spa. She spots her friend-Mermaid slowly finishing stylizing yellow cheetah girl's hair into silver Pixie Wedge.
Mermaid: This style is so in fashion right now and will fit into your moon necklace and this cute gypsy shirt you have. She gasps Does Z&M have new collection?!
Kitty: Yep! She stands up as Mermaid unties apron of the cheetah Went shopping with my boyfriend yesterday. I’m afraid I tired him out.
Mermaid: Boys and shopping are words what definitaly doesn’t fit. Trust me. I tried with mine but we both agreeded that never again. She giggles softly as she heads to the cash register That will be 190 Zeedollars.
Kitty: pays with her Zlay App I will use Zlay.
Mermaid: Wise choice. She prints the till receipt I seen you also made reservation for the Spa Day with your sister for the next week.
Kitty: She’s turning 18 next week. Let her have a taste of luxuries especially since my favourite hair stylist and massager never fails to make miracles.
Hearing that Mermaid blushes
Mermaid: Oh it’s really nothing. I just do my best.
Kitty: Girl. You really put your efforts in this job. She then looks at her watch Gotta go. My mom invited me to concert.
Kitty leaves Day Spa with a smile. Pinky comes to Mermaid putting her notebook on Mermaid’s table.
Pinky: So. I started doing music.
Mermaid: nods I did noticed that. And I told you that music video or two may spread your wings even more.
Pinky: Open up this notebook she puts her hands on Mermaid’s table excited
Mermaid Indeed opens that. She gasps seeing ideas for music video for Pinky’s recent song ,,I don’t wanna be your ex”. Minutes passes as Mermaid proceeds to read that. Few seconds later she returns the notebook to Pinky.
Mermaid: Many of your ideas we can Indeed make. But a good music video must have a great cover picture. She pulls out her camera And I know a thing or two about the art of doing that. Just we need a proper background.
Seconds later clouds rumble as rain starts to fall. Near Mermaid’s head appears flashlight as she takes one in her hand.
Mermaid: I've got an idea! She looks at Pinky Get changed and I will call Charlie.
Pinky: Why exactly him? She scratches her head confused
Mermaid: A mysterious but also dramatic effect of course!
Pinky: But he isn’t my ex. He is my present boyfriend.
Mermaid: That’s the point of doing music video. Not everything needs to be real. Sometimes you need to use imagination. She makes pleading look Will you do that for me?
Pinky: sighs as she nods
Mermaid: Wonderful! Just wonderful.
Hello! I’ve never done a matchup before, so I’m sorry if it’s too much! Could I get romantic Star Rail, Demon Slayer, and Genshin matchups? ^^
Pronouns/Sexuality: I use she/her pronouns! My sexuality is a bit complex right now, but I know I fall somewhere under the asexual umbrella. I'm not quick to catch feelings, but when I do, I’m whipped. In terms of romance, I'm attracted to masculine presenting people (ex. cis men, trans men, and non-binaries!)
Zodiac/MBTI: Gemini / INFP
Appearance: Brown eyes. Slightly below shoulder-length denim blue hair with blonde ends - my hair is typically swept to the side, covering my right eye. I stand at 5'1" and am slender for my height. I have pale skin with a few beauty marks on my neck and the side of my face. My fashion style leans toward goth/emo, and I have a few ear piercings, along with a septum piercing!
Personality: On a first impression, I come off as intimidating and aloof. I’ve had friends tell me that I looked like I wanted to kill them when we met and was surprised as I'm really just unsure about how to socialize and unintentionally appear unfriendly. Beyond that, I'm a laidback and open-minded individual. I tend to reflect too much, unconsciously psychoanalyzing myself/others. I'd describe myself as a pessimist, and my thoughts can sometimes dwell in dark places that I get stuck in sometimes. Isound monotonous, which I find hilarious because I tend to deliver the darkest jokes with a straight face, leaving people confused. I often playfully pretend to have a god/superiority complex; I'm known for my biting sarcasm, snarkiness, stubbornness, and occasional sassiness. However, I'm also logical and prioritize thinking with my head before my heart. My demeanor can switch between being playfully sarcastic and being timid and awkward, depending on how well I know someone. I have a tendency to be a people pleaser, even going so far as to sacrifice my own well-being for people I don't even know well. I’m a good listener, but I severely lack charisma.
Likes: Drawing, sword collecting, history, playing/watching video games, writing, TTRPGs, rain/thunderstorms, my five cats, metal/rock music, the colors blue/purple/red, the moon, and star-gazing.
Dislikes: People who can’t maintain an open mind, the color green, being in the sun, doctors, heights, and people who are immature, blindly optimistic, or excessively loud.
Extra Information: I'm scatterbrained and forgetful with doing certain things (ex. Taking medicine, eating breakfast, etc.) I also tend to do better with people similar to me, personality, interest, or backstory wise! But also maybe someone who would push me to leave my comfort zone or pull me out of my pessimism.
Thank you! ✨
Hi! Oh my goodness! It's so exciting being someone's first matchup request! Thank you for your request! Sorry it took a while. I hope you like your matchups!
In Honkai Star Rail, I match you with...
Caelus matches your sarcastic nature well. However, while you’re more open about saying those things out loud, Caelus is more the type to keep them to himself, until you’re alone.
Then the sass comes out in full force as you both talk about your days.
Caelus is reasonably mature and open minded, so arguments will rarely happen. He also strikes me as a bit of a people pleaser. But don’t think that will stop him from expressing his opinion.
Video game dates! Caelus loves video games and is pretty flexible about what you play. Whether it’s a multiplayer where you’re on a team or facing off, or a single player where you take turns with the controller, Caelus just enjoys sharing one of his main hobbies with you.
Will take you stargazing. The Star Rail is great for that since there’s stars everywhere you look. But Caelus also enjoys finding good stargazing spots when you get to a new planet.
There’s always a whole new sky to look at and you can learn about it together.
In Demon Slayer, I match you with...
Giyu’s another one who loves your sarcastic nature. He thinks it’s a nice change from the overly optimistic people he’s surrounded by on a daily basis.
Your stubborn streak is something he’s more familiar with. Between Inosuke and Tanjiro, as well as the other hashira, there are a lot of stubborn people in his life.
He can be a bit close minded sometimes but, as shown when he accepted Nezuko, Giyu can open up to ideas that he’s initially sceptical of.
Not a loud person and appreciates that you’re not overly loud either. He enjoys being able to spend quiet time with you reading or watching you draw.
His favourite moments are when you’re relaxing together and there’s gentle rain outside. He can very easily fall asleep like that.
I see Giyu as someone who doesn’t mind cats. He resonates with them. They remind him a lot of himself. So needless to say, he will get along well with your cats; he doesn’t pester them but he’ll give them affection when they approach him.
In Genshin Impact, I match you with...
Diluc enjoys being able to spend time with you. He appreciates the peace and quiet after time spent in the Angel’s Share. Whether that involves watching you draw, reading something you’ve written, or relaxing in silence, he loves every moment of it.
He’s also glad you’re a good listener because after a shift at the tavern, Diluc enjoys talking about all the patrons he encountered. It’s a good method of decompensating.
He likes your cats but he’s not sure whether he genuinely likes them or because you like them. Either way, they remind him a lot of Diona which leads to some interesting interactions.
Like Caelus, Diluc enjoys stargazing with you. He’ll take you into the vineyards where no one will disturb the two of you and lay out a blanket to rest on.
In a house as old as Dawn Winery, there’s sure to be a decent collection of swords. Diluc is more than happy to let you add to it as you see fit. He’s happy with his claymor but it can’t hurt to have a selection at hand.
I guess it's time for a pinned post
Hai!
I'm elaanaa, a 23, bi femboy and a 196 refugee whose entire personality changes depending on the last piece of media I consumed. Sooo, instead of talking about myself I will just talk about my interests :3
TL;DR: im apparently a narcissist who loves to talk about themself, I shitpost and hornypost on main, I have nerdy and horny hobbies and want you to info dump about your hobbies in my dms NOW!
Vibeo Games
I mainly play 3 types of games that change depending on my mood:
Second Job Games
This is the category for games that are fun to play but require to play daily and basically become your 2nd job. Currently it's Genshin... 😞 but it's actually fun. The game is really enjoyable when you realise that you CANNOT 100% IT. So I just play where it lands with wish rng and make the best I can get.
2. Watching YT/Twitch Games
These are games that I play while I watch/listen to something. Right now I am playing some Yu-gi-oh Master Duel because I got an itch to play after listening to like 20h of Duel Logs videos (banger yt channel).
3. Story Games
And finally the Games. Right now I am playing Bladur's Gate 3 at my own, very slow pace (70h and in act 2). I am quite enjoying it, but so far I think I've enjoyed Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous a bit more. If you are going to take anything out of this post then please,
IF YOU LIKE BALDURS GATE 3 PLEASE CHECK OUT PATHFINDER WRATH OF THE RIGHTEOUS OMG THAT GAME IS SO GOOD, IT HAS SO MANY FLAWS AND IT FEELS UNPOLISHED BUT ITS SOOO GOOOOD <33333
so yeah, im very gamer 😎
Animeh
My favourite anime is by far Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Please watch it if you somehow haven't (or come here so we can watch it together while we cuddle 😳😳😳). I also really like Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen (but more on that in the next section)!
Men-gah
I started reading manga as a good way to pass time during slow days at work, but I really liked it! My top 3 manga, in no particular order, would probably be: JJK (as evident by Kirara in my profile picture), Demon Slayer (which apparently is a controversial opinion) and Chainsaw man. Currently I am looking for manga recommendations, so if you somehow got all the way down here and have some, feel free to dm them to me :3
Mewsick
I can't really describe genres of music I like, so instead I'm just going to say my favourite artists: I'm Geist (whose album cover is my profiles banner), heylog and basically anyone featured by biteki. The best word I found to describe this music is:
AltHyperEmoPopRapRock
Other than that, I just listen to whatever sounds good. Oh, and Hollow Knight and Risk of Rain 2 OSTs because they probably have some of the best music I've heard in a game (City of Tears, Mantis Lords and Rain formerly known as purple <333).
Whorenyposting
My latest "hobby", which developed after realising that "Dopamine coming from fictional numbers increasing" > "The fear of posing pictures of myself online". So look forward to Femboy Fridays (I definitely am :3)
Anyways, that ended up being waaaay longer than I expected (I guess i really do love talking about myself >.<). If you want to know more about me, want to make it even by infodumping your hobbies onto me or you are already in love with me - feel free to dm me :3
And remember - stay silly :3
(Picture in the post is from CHAOS! by geist - a certified banger)
THE BISEXUAL FISHIES IS SUCH A CUTE THING TO ADD OMG
RIGHT ESPECIALLY WHE. THE KOI FISH ARE SUCH A ICONIC PART OF SPEAK NOW ERA, I HAVE SO MUCH TO SAY ABOUT THIS MUSIC VIDEO AND I WANT TO START WITH THE LAVENDER FIELDS.
Did yall notice how she gets high off the lavender haze (STONER TAYLOR FTW) and then crawls in the lavender to walk towards the midnight rain easter egg ? The fact that she pulled that open and showed us the world around her, in purple with koi fish, I'm losing my shit at the queer implications of that!!!
I also really love how she referenced both speak now and lover, her two explicitly queer themed albums with the fishbowl/koi fish scenes. The video was the definition of bisexual woman dating a man, and I loved it. It's such a beautiful concept, I love how there is magical elements in all of these videos because it really shows us the youthful qualities Taylor still possesses. I love magical realism as a genre so I love that in her "meet me at midnight" era, we are see the return of magic in her work.
I think it's truly beautiful that lavender haze mv references speak now so heavily because it confirms my suspicion that "you'll do whatever it takes to protect that haze" is about her past decisions/mistakes of choosing to be closeted and how now that she's living as a queer woman (represented by the lesbian colors of her top), she's able to fully be present in her relationship with Joe and I also like that she's learned that her love interests don't have to represent the people she's actually dated in her mv because we're seeing a lot of people who are marginalized in the industry be played as love interests in such a nonchalant way, I love it actually.
This is the type of change that has grown ever present since 1989 and I hope she continues it.
I love the vinyls being song titles of hers and I love that each song has a different cover that is thematic relevant. Like I said about the mastermind vinyl, it has constellations on it with her and Joe's signs and that's so fucking cute but like it's definitely the theme of that particular song and im convinced there is a mastermind music video I will not be taking further questions at this time
I also like that taylor kind of focused the video on her, even though she had friends around her and her boyfriend in a few scenes, most of the video was just her getting high and rolling around in Lavender and honestly SO ME TAYLOR.
I think the pool of her just being sexy as fuck was so necessary and put it in for me specifically and I thank her for her service. I will never ever get over this.
This was unnecessary, it's literally exactly how I picture lavender haze in my mind like she's literally getting high with Joe and dancing around and just living life in her little bedroom with him and it's so fucking !!!! I do wish we could have seen her in an explicitly queer scene because lavender haze is very obviously queer coded and I don't really like how hetlors are going to weaponize this video tbh and she should have thought of that while filming but the lesbian outfit honestly is more true to her situation with Joe, because she is very loud and queer but she is committed to him so I think once we have explicit confirmation of taylor coming out herself, it'll be really good bisexual representation.
I also really like the visual representation of her being sad and having that storm cloud above her, it's giving "the rain is always going to come, when you're standing with me" and "every single thing I touch becomes sick with sadness" and I just really like how by the end of it, the cloud is bigger but white and she escapes into it, like I think that was very cool and interesting to watch.
Overall, best music video she ever did. I loved it.
Amara woke me up at 8.30am this morning by putting on all of the lights so she could pack. I asked her to turn the lights off so I could keep sleeping, but she said she needed to see. I tried to sleep under the covers for 10 more minutes but then decided to get up as it was too bright and noisy.
Amara continued packing while I was in the shower and when I got out, she was pretty much ready to do one last explore of Wellington before heading to the airport. It was miserable and raining outside, so I wasn’t very enthused and didn’t really have anything else to see/do/buy, so I decided to stay in the hotel room and read. I had a coffee & a yoghurt/muesli, whilst reading, that we had bought the night before.Amara had wrangled us a 12.30pm check out (unheard of!) so we weren’t in a rush. Amara was gone for 2 hours and I got a decent chunk of my book (All Fours - Miranda July) and put the last bits & pieces in my luggage. I felt a bit anxious about “wasting time” while overseas, but needed to remember to be ok with slowing down after such a busy trip.
We checked out at 12.30pm and I booked an Uber to the airport. We bumped into Jo Raph again and had a lovely chat about the WoW show the previous night and what an unexpected and lovely surprise it was to spend so much with with her. Airport security didn’t open until 1.30pm, so we were stuck in limbo until then. Amara was frustrated that we couldn’t get into the Business Class Lounge earlier (Amara had upgraded her ticket using FF points and was able to bring in a guest - woohoo!) but I was starving, so I grabbed some pork dumplings from a restaurant and they were incredibly tasty and fresh.
At 1.30pm we went to queue up for security and it took about 15 minutes. The airport music was a great playlist and Amara and I had a little boogie while we waited. One of the songs was a Zumba song that I used to do in classes with Tiff, so I giggled when I remembered the whole routine. Security rules have changed and we didn’t have to remove devices or liquids from bags, so that made things a bit smoother, but my bag got swabbed for ‘explosives’ afterwards because I had my laptop and Kindle in it so I wondered if it was just easier to pull those items out.
We shopped briefly in Duty Free to purchase some booze and I bought Morgan and I Kahlua & vodka to replenish our espresso martini supplies. The staff member, Andrew, who helped us out really did us a solid by giving us a special combo deal when the vodka we wanted wasn’t part of the ‘2-for-$65’ deal. He was a really lovely guy and when I told him that my cat loved the expanding paper wrapping that he put over the bottles, he popped half a dozen more in the bag for her. What a sweetheart!
Once in the business class lounge, we grabbed a glass of champagne to celebrate a wonderful trip and some tasty snacks. The lemon cheesecake was divine! I read my book and finished my 1-second everyday video that I’d made. Our flight boarded on time and I called Morgan before we taxi’d out to make sure he was still OK to pick me up.
The flight was uneventful - I read more of my book (really chugging through it) and then watched a Netflix show on my phone. The most ‘exciting’ thing that happened was that the flight attendants forgot to serve my isle lunch and I had to ring the customer button to remind them. The food was a bit average, but the cheese & crackers afterwards were yummy. We landed just after 4pm, we cruised through customs with nothing to declare and although Amara’s suitcase was one of the first on the carousel, I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for mine. Luckily my new purple suitcase was easy to spot! It was an excellent purchase.
Morgi was waiting outside, in my car, when I exited the terminals and I was very happy to be back in my car, with my favourite person, on the way home to be with my cat and all of my stuff!
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this trip, but was a bit surprised by how easily fatigued I was. It was probably just a contrast to the personalities of the other people I was travelling with, but I often found myself needing a bit of space and quiet. I am incredibly grateful to have visited so many beautiful places, especially Hobbiton, and can’t wait to hopefully go again soon with Dad!
Until next time xx
