God I hate amazon music

#Just tried deleting a song off my playlist (where every song was already twice on because of a previous bug ig) and now most songs sre on #This playlist 4 times. Or three times. I am slightly annoyed #This is the only app my parents pay for and I don't want to pay for my music so I'll put up with that #(Except when I buy CDs/vinyls but then most of the money goes to the artist. I'm assuming amazon doesn't do that. Fucking hell.)

The entire reason I liked the YouTube music app in the first place was because I could listen to and watch music videos without the noise of the comment section. But they updated it so that even THAT is ruined. I might as well just use the YouTube app. Dumbasses.

#which is wild considering that i was driving on the highway at the time #i kept having to pull over on the rumble strip to check my spot in the queue #got kicked out of the waiting room once. app signed me out?? didn't have data for a while in the middle of nowhere.#ended up stabbing randomly at my phone and buying Nice Luxury seats for an absurdly reasonable amount of money #i am VIBRATING #this is also the funniest possible time for me to see coldplay though #i hardly listen to them anymore. i finally retired the tattered viva la vida poster that had been on my wall for a decade #my music taste has moved on to pastures new and considerably more emo #i haven't listened to moon music yet because...uh..tbh i've heard it's not very good and after music of the spheres i didn't expect it to b #BUT this is something i've wanted since i was 15 and in a fit of conscientious pique *didn't even ask my parents*#if i could go see them on the mx tour. didn't even ask!!! as an adult that's wild to me.#they didn't even forbid me!! they almost certainly wouldn't have!! but we had extremely minor plans for that night already and i was like #'i cannot disappoint them'#so instead i sat there and sulked through the minor event!#baffling behavior on my part #but anyway! i have since been thwarted in seeing coldplay for TWELVE YEARS because they just haven't come anywhere near where i'm living #BUT NOW I'M GOING #this is like if most people my age had never gotten to see one direction or something as a teen #that's the level of obsession we're talking about and #also the level of 'mostly this is a gift to a past version of myself but also i will still cry'#personal

Hey could ads on tumblr not play music or sounds when I don’t event click on them? It would be great if ads didn’t constantly run while I’m using the app either. I’d also like it if ads didn’t just shove their way onto my screen on top of posts. I understand the need for ads, that they “need” to make money. But this website, this app, it’s bothersome enough to use with the constant horrible changes to the UI and policy that it doesn’t need literal pop up ads.

tiktok has it flaws that’s for sure but when it comes to smaller music artists you can find so many talented people there! there have been so many musicians that i discovered because of tiktok but, as for bigger artists, it’s just a means of promoting music and their managements/labels make them do the silliest things for promo on there and it truly it might be chore to some… but also the fact that a lot music standards is centered around this app is so limiting. the way songs are around 2 minutes just so it fits better for tiktok sounds is kinda ruining the full potential some songs could be and in that sense it’s extremely awful in terms of creativity

#i think many things… there’s positives and negatives #but i feel like anyone can agree that this app is commanding #the music industry way too much in recent years #it might beneficial for labels to fit the tiktok algorithm #bc it means more money but then it #might not be for artists bc they end up producing songs #that don’t speak to them at all #but yeah… that’s what i think #tris.txt

I feel like all smartphones should be able to get the radio... like I had an ipod nano that could receive radio so it's weird to me that a modern phone cant ???

I'm so tired of the brand of person that sees a comment like 'I can't find this book/movie/show/music anywhere' and replies with:

'You can always pirate it.'

If it can't be found AT ALL, there is nowhere to buy OR PIRATE it. Common fucking sense, people.

Now if you have a link, cool, reply with that and prove me wrong, but 'you can pirate it' might just be the least helpful thing a human being can say. The reading comprehension on this site...

It's like that comic of the person saying their fish have all died and everyone trying to help them find the dead fish they are holding or giving advice like 'just make them alive again'.

#Tumblr is infamous for having all the how to pirate and where posts #and I've made 4 music albums and a free app with them all that includes instructions on how to dig through the app #save the music locally (no drm) and includes the legal.txt files giving permission to do so #fun loophole - you can't pirate my music because that's illegal and if I give it to you free that's legal #crime solved #I wish more people could figure that out (staring at the third party execs all vying for a cut of the work they didn't make)#if you're going to ask people to pay then at least give that money to the artists to the creatives that made the thing
