Hi!
Here's a lil' sketch of my favourite character in Eyeshield 21, Kid. Gosh, it's been a long time since I didn't draw him…
It's so a shame there aren't more pictures of him… He deserves more love! TTATT
I hope you like it!

✖️ & any 7 es21 characters of your choice from horror film casting prompt
It was so hard to pick characters for this one, so I just decided to choose teams. To make up the seven, I used both Shinryuji Naga and the Seibu Wild Gunmen! Thanks so much for sending this in and I hope you’ll enjoy 😊
Send me a X and 7 characters and I’ll tell you who would be…
The Survivor
Out of all the choices, it’s going to be a surprise twist. There’s no classic final girl in this movie, where the survivor kills the killer and that’s that. Instead, the ‘final girl’, who I definitely picture as Kid in this scenario, thinks they kill the murderer, but they actually survive, which the audience gets to see in a mid-credits scene. Those viewers who skipped out the second the movie ended, not staying to watch the credits, got pissed to find out about the scene afterwards, which leaves it completely open to stage a sequel to the film.
The Culprit
With the characters chosen, you all know who I’m going to be putting here. Like, it’s so glaringly obvious and a lot of viewers will call this pretty early on, once they’re really introduced to Agon. He’s a jackass, with some wishy-washy morals, who is willing to do a lot for his ego and his own happiness. In my mind, this film takes place in an upper-crust, fancy all-boys boarding school. It's the elite of the elite, which takes only the best of the best. There’s a secret society among these boys who take only the best of those elite students. We find out, throughout the course of the movie, that Agon was actually denied entry into the secret society. They’d seriously been considering him, because he’s exceptionally talented, is top of his classes, and has luck with the girls across the way at the all-girl’s school. It’s just that they all end up hating up interacting with his stuck-up ass that they end up refusing to let him in…they plain out end up not wanting to really deal with him. This not only greatly assaults Agon’s ego but actually causes him to snap. While the movie tries to play him off as a ‘so obvious it can’t possibly be this jerk’ way, he is definitely the killer, targeting members of this secret society and the group of boys they’d accepted this year.
The First Victim
It’s Yamabushi. It’s mostly because, out of all the choices, he has the less presence. He’s more expendable because viewers would enjoy watching him on the screen less than they would enjoy watching the others. He’s enjoyable, agreeable, and fun, but nobody’s really torn up when he gets stabbed through the torso while cleaning up after the new recruits initiation ritual. It comes out of nowhere, but he does get the props for being the only person to pull off the mask and see the killer before he fully dies and he does try to leave some clue before he bleeds out – only for the killer to then stab him again in the heart before he can fully leave one.
The One Who Almost Made It
Unsui makes it almost all the way through the movie. Agon might be a little bit of an asshole, and he’s definitely not nice to his brother, but he does love his twin. Agon really doesn’t want to kill Unsui. He’ll hurt his brother, if only to throw people off his trail (because his twin being the only one to never get spooked, chased, or hurt by the killer would look awful suspicious), but he really doesn’t want to kill Unsui. Too bad Unsui figures out what’s going on and realizes that Agon is indeed the killer. Unsui doesn’t want his brother to get hurt and he confronts his brother, trying to convince Agon to turn himself in, to stop and just accept justice. That doesn’t work out well for Unsui. During the confrontation between the two brothers, which takes place up in the school’s bell tower, Unsui accidentally gets pushed over the railing and falls to his death. It actually was an accident and it’s the first time we saw real fear, pain, anger, and anguish on Agon’s face. His killings after that get even more brutal, as he funnels all that anguish and pins the death of Unsui on the secret society and its members.
The Comic Relief
It’s Tetsuma. That man is so literal, so stoic and serious that it becomes funny. His non-reactions, despite all the craziness happening around him becomes absolutely hilarious.
The Pretty One
I do think that, out of the remaining options, Riku ends up being the pretty one. I’m not saying Ikkyu isn’t pretty – I know he has plenty of fans of his own, but Riku is the more classically ‘pretty boy’ out of the two. There are definitely fan girls of his who watch the movie purely because of him and the movie ends up creating a much bigger career for his new actor.
The Genre Savvy
By default, it’s Ikkyu. I do think Ikkyu could easily be considered someone genre savvy. Though horror movies terrify him, it’s an enjoyable type of terrified and I do picture him as someone who’s watched quite a few and a unique blend of both old and classic films. He’d know the common tropes but even better, he has a good amount of common sense and there’s points during the movie where he almost seems to have a preternatural sense of danger.

The Devil’s Cut (4/4)
They say that time heals all wounds.
Time, unfortunately, was exactly what was in short supply for Kid, who could all but see death on the horizon, lurking just beyond the dawn. Hell, now that he had carried out his sole mission in life, he would not have objected all that fiercely to its end.
If it had been a matter of days, he could have whiled them all away like this, emptied of ambition, purpose.
A few years, though, were a tad too much to waste. So, as dawn came after scarlet dawn, and hardly seemed to carry its burden of death any closer, he did what he could with the time he had remaining: he pinned the badge to his chest, like his father had always wanted, and he rebuilt his town.
Fandom: Eyeshield 21
Pairing: Hiruma/Kid
Warnings: gun usage, offscreen character death, AU, depression probably
Summary: A cowboy waits for the devil to collect his due.
Chapters: first | last

Yes! A Kid scenario! Awesome, Anon-chan!
Also, I played around with Kid’s mindset that if something’s going good, something bad is going to happen soon. Very soon.
Mushanokoji “Kid” Shien had long since learned to live with his mouthful or a real name.
But he never really liked it.
hence, why he went by “Kid”, and it stuck. He doubted anyone had known his real name other than Tetsuma back in his schools. Well, with the exception of Hiruma Yoichi that is—but you could never hide anything from the Devil so did Hiruma knowing really count?
Kid liked to think ‘no.’
Kid didn’t mind being called “Shien” now, nearing his mid-thirties’, seeing as he had to have grown out of that childish hatred of his true name at some point.
But still, he liked it when people called him “Kid.”
Hell, he still called himself “Kid.”
There was something special about the nickname. And really, he knew, it came from the nostalgia the name brought; all those fantastic, unforgettable moments he spent his days throwing football after football, quicker than some could react or even see. “Quickdraw Kid” was a hero, a role model and an icon to some players now. The thought of being someone’s hero was daunting, but at the same time, it made his chest bloom with pride—that he was actually good enough to have an effect on some kids’ lives.
But.
There was a name that brought even more warmth and pride to his chest when he heard it.
“ Tou-san!”
Handing his jacket over to the butler, Kid slid down on one knee to accept the unstoppably, hyper mass of energy he called a son.
“Tetsuya,” Kid drawled in greeting, a smile splitting his face. “How was your day?”
His son, bright eyed and glowing with joy, grinned, showcasing his imperfect set of teeth. “I lost two teeth today!”
“Oh? You’re growing fast, huh?” Kid slung his son onto his hip, wrapping his arms to steady the boy against his body as he walked further into the Mushanokoji Mansion. “Don’t grow too fast, this old man won’t be able to keep up with you.”
“No! Tou-san is soooooooo fast! Riku-ji-san said so!” Tetsuya argued, waving his hands around in the air to make a point.
“What does he know, I’m your Tou-san.”
“Yeah! But Riku-ji-san said not to listen to you when you say stuff like that—he says that you’re a—that you’re a pes—pest?—pass-something?”
“A pessimist?”
“Yeah!” Tetsuya shouted, lurching backwards and nearly falling out of Kid’s arms. Luckily, he had kept up just a bit with working out, his muscle and sportsman’s balance allowing him to right himself and his son with ease.
“I had a bad feeling when Riku said he could babysit you when Tetsuma was sick...” Kid grumbled under his breath. “That brat was turning my own son against me.”
“Tou-sab? Didja say something?”
“Nothing,” Kid bopped the boy’s nose with one of his long, callused fingers. “Where’s your __________ (mom/dad/parent)?”
“In the kitchen making steak teriyaki! Says its because you came home early for once!’” Tetsuya’s eyes suddenly went wide and he smacked his father’s arms, wanting to be put down. “I’ll go help set the table!”
Kid raised a brow. Energetic his son was, but Tetsuya was the furthest thing from compliant. The boy was as stubborn as his godfather but sure as Hell not compliant.
Really, Kid should’ve expected this kind of irony when he named the kid.
“Faster we get done, more football!”
Ah, that made sense.
Kid nodded at his son, waving him off as he raced to the kitchen, dodging some servant and furniture as best his six year old coordination would allow him.
You had gotten him to start teaching Tetsuya how to play football seeing as taking up the family business left him little bonding time and he wasn’t the most social person either.
Ergo, father-son bonding equaled playing football together.
And it was going great to which, per usual, gave him a bad feeling—
CRASH.
Well, shit.
“TETSUYA!” And there went his lovely partner of nearly fifteen years. “SHIEN! GET DOWN HERE AND PUT YOUR ASS TO USE—WATCH YOUR KID, KID!”
And there went your subtle jab that you hated you married someone ‘immature.’
He was not and you knew it but that didn’t stop you from mocking him.
And the day was going near perfect too.

There is a sketch I made for the 2022 edition, with my Eyeshield 21 OC, Aurore, and Kid (aka Shien Mushanokoji). It's after manga timeline, when Aurore learns Japanese at Saikyoudai university (and playing in Hiruma's team occasionally as runningback). Aurore and Kid both meet during a match and step by step... here are the results! XD
Kid likes to kiss Aurore when they're alone... but she always reacts like this ! XD
For information, Aurore's MBTI is ISTP, as Kid ;)
