Oooh, loved the soulmate post. Would you please do one for Hiruma as well?

I’m so glad that you enjoyed the soulmate prompts I’ve posted 😊 That definitely made me smile, so thanks for the lovely compliment! I’m more than happy to do this up for you and I hope you’ll enjoy the headcanons, though they are a little different from the other soulmate prompts!

If the character lived in a world where soulmates exist, describe what their marks would look like on their other half!

I do hope this one doesn’t come off as disappointing because, when thinking about Hiruma and different types of soulmate AU’s, there were just a lot of them that I thought didn’t really fit him too well. There were plenty where, even if I could fit him into them, they didn’t come off as incredibly romantic or fluffy enough to really satisfy. Again, I really hope this doesn’t disappoint someone.

In a type of soulmate AU where someone is indeed born with a mark on them representing their soulmate, like the prompt specifies, I don’t think that Hiruma’s mark will be very prominent or noticeable on his partner. It’s not large or gaudy by any means and, if his soulmate or those around them weren’t purposefully looking for it, they’d likely miss it.

Hiruma’s not someone who wants to visibly mark his partner in super obvious ways. He isn’t the sort who goes to great lengths to claim ‘ownership’ of his romantic partners and I think that extends to his soulmate mark. I will admit that, sexually speaking, I do see Hiruma being into marking his partner, but those are marks his partner can hide underneath clothing. There’s a great possibility that, if his mark was anything other than the one I decided on, that it would be small and hidden somewhere that is very private, that most people outside of him and his soulmate, and the person’s parents, would ever see.

However, the one I did end up thinking of, the one I liked the best, and the one that felt the most fitting, was one that would be somewhat visible on his soulmate. However, it is indeed very small, almost delicate.

It also, in great difference to most soulmate AU’s, perfectly matches Hiruma’s own soulmate mark. They’re exact duplicates, down to size, shape, and placement.

Both Hiruma and his soulmate have, on their right wrist, a barely noticeable, thin red line encircling the whole of their wrist. It’s barely the size of a thread and the red is a darker, deeper shade of crimson, very rich and not as eye-catching as a bright red might be.

The thing that’s a little special about this particular soulmate AU is that there’s a little bit more to this shared mark between Hiruma and his partner. It’s reactive. Whenever Hiruma and his soulmate get close physically, before they even properly meet, the mark seems to come alive. It slithers up their wrist, reaching up towards the air, seeking out the matching thread. Most times, even they themselves don’t realize it because, before their meeting proper, Hiruma and his soulmate mostly just pass each other by. It’s really quick, like you’d pass any other stranger in the street. There’s not a lot of time for the mark to really get up far enough to make them take attention.

Then it happens. Hiruma and his soulmate bump into each other – maybe it’s at a party. Maybe it’s at school. Maybe it’s just in a street.

“Kekeke, watch where you’re going.”

“Don’t be so rude!” or “I’m sorry” from his soulmate, something just casual.

But at this point, they’ve been close enough for long enough that whatever they were starting to say dies on each of their lips. It’s simply impossible to really pay any attention to anything other than those red threads, slithering up wrists, hanging in the air, reaching out to intwine between the two of them.

“Fuck.”

It’s all Hiruma can say. He doesn’t really want this. He doesn’t need a distraction or something else to worry about and he’s not naturally someone who really allows himself to be vulnerable around other people, and especially not just because fate decided they were his soulmate.

He’s likely to almost violently pull away from the connection the marks are making and to find an excuse to get away from the situation. However, he’s also very intelligent and he likes to collect dirt on people. You can bet your ass he’s setting out, now that that meeting has happened, on learning everything he can about his soulmate before they make contact again.

so it was pretty much established that hiruma occasionally gets on mamori's nerves to the point where she had to resort to violence (the broom/mop) and i can't help but wonder if she uses other materials too depending on the availability and location?

like, if they're in class mamori could just hit him with a pen, or a notebook, or a whole ass bag if she's daring enough. if they're on the field, mamori could hurl a football or a water bottle at his general direction. she can also roll her paperwork to swat him like a fly. and if they're outside, i think mamori would chuck her shoe or sandal at him because seriously, who wouldn't? we all went through that level of frustration with someone.

what's best is that hiruma will find it entertaining.

I re-read Eyeshield 21 this year and it's.. really wild to me that I last read it 20 years ago. I read about halfway through the series - pretty far cos I'd read the Death March arc (pretty pivotal point for many of the players) and at least as far as Sena's public reveal. I never watched the anime.

It was odd to try and find fanfic for a series that ended in 2009. I learned that people still upload to Fanfiction.net. I waded through LJ a bit, too. I wanted to find a certain ship and found there are some enthusiastic fans still drawing and writing for them, bless them. Keeping an old ship alive is tough. 😭

I had thoughts about ES21. I hope these make sense to other fans as I'm going to put them up. This is completely without looking up other ES21 discourse, analyses or headcanons, so I don't know what general fandom perspectives are other than what I found through fanfic.

LMFAO Agohiru from ES21 😂 I remember when I first got into es21 back in highschool, Hiruma was my fav, but I didn't think much of Agon other than 'wow what an asshole!' and didn't like him. (Also I was a big Hirumamo shipper at the time, and I'm the type who clings onto One Ship for a character and isn't too interested in anything else lol) It wasn't until I got back into it in the last couple of years that I've come to appreciate how much fun it is to bat that asshole around, and just how loaded Hiruma and Agon's ~history~ is.

Though I guess no one person specifically changed my mind, unless you count past me vs present me lol. OH actually, what changed my mind was the fic "Independent Variable" on ff.net. I think I got back into es21 and was like 'you know, hiruma/agon totally has potential' and so was looking up fics of that pairing, and then I read that fic and was lost.

D - A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t.

Hmmmm oh, Merther (Merlin/Arthur) lol. Their set up as a ship is extremely juicy (two sides of the same coin?? fate ties them together??? conflict because their initial world views are diametrically opposed????) and there's soooo much fic for them, but. I just. I don't like Arthur 😭 Like, I mean, he's FINE. But the writing of the whole show is so inconsistent and there's entire seasons where he's just so shitty to Merlin for no damn reason in a way that I'm supposed to take as funny and silly which pisses me off more.

J - Name a fandom you didn’t think about until you saw it all over Tumblr. (You don’t have to care about it or follow it; it just has to be something that Tumblr made you aware of.)

I mean, most shows that have mainstream popularity that I never checked out lol, though I think one that I've seen a lot of shipping art for on my dash is Star Wars? I've seen the main movies, but I think this is from.... Clone Wars, or the Obi-wan show or something. I see a lot of Obi-wan shipped with... one of the clone guys I think lmfao.

L - Say something genuinely nice about a character who isn’t one of your faves.

Hmmmm this isn't even a character I dislike, but whatever-- Judeau! I like him a lot tbh but I also find him shady 😂

I like how his 'friend who gives good advice and just has your best interests at heart' vibe is subverted by his personal biases and emotions, even if he'd probably deny that lol. He's flawed and it colors the advice he gives, and he even has moments that I'd argue are kind of judgy. It's what makes him interesting!

T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending? 

Yes! Main one coming to mind rn because I've been thinking about Hiruma (ES21) a lot, is that Hiruma is on the ace spectrum! I'm usually pretty take-it-or-leave-it when it comes to sexuality headcanons, like I can buy most interpretations but I generally don't feel strongly about them, but with Hiruma I really struggle to see him as anything else.

U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.

OOHHHH. Well in Berserk, it's legit a tie between Guts and Griffith. I wouldn't like either one of them as much without the other in their orbit, and Berserk is one of those rare stories where both characters are really complex and compelling in their own way, and bring a lot of significant baggage into their dynamic lmfao. With Guts I love how sensitive he is, and the various ways in which he subverts and deconstructs the Macho Male Power Fantasy™ archetype, how at the end of the day he just wants someone to care about him and find worth in his existence. With Griffith, I love his ideals and his fragility in the face of the sacrifices those ideals demand from him, I love how much he cares and how much he gouges himself for caring, and how all of his stress and guilt and obligation still aren't any match for his love for Guts. And with both of them, I love how their upbringing informs their decisions so well to ruin everything even though they care about each other so much :')

w/ ES21, it's Hiruma lol which might be basic because he's everyone's fav, but for good reason! He's just fucking fun! I love how unhinged and demonic he is, I love the borderline slapstick loony-tunes tyle antics he gets up to, and I love his shamelessness. But I also love how accepting and realistic he is about his limitations, and how that doesn't stop him from striving for the top and going for what he wants. And like, for such an anime-level strategic genius type character, I love that such a core part of what makes him great is that he brings people together and uses teamwork and creativity to overcome everyone's various limitations. He's just-- so much fun!

And because this list is depressingly male lemme throw in a wild card-- Chase from Midnight Furies! It's a webcomic that I recently read for the first time, and Chase is the deuteragonist and a Hiruma expy lol. Which you can definitely tell, they both have the unhinged vibe and shark teeth, as well as the mysterious past and having a lot of cards up their sleeve, but I also think they're quite distinct. Obviously, Chase is a butch lesbian (which really does just add to her cool factor), but also I feel like Midnight Furies is a more grounded story compared to ES21, despite there being supernatural elements lol, and so Chase feels more grounded and realistic as a character. She's a bit more raw in her relationships to other people, and she shows vulnerability more, but she's also much more of a direct physical threat than Hiruma is. Because of that, she has moments where calculation gets thrown out the window in favor of a good ol' beat down, which of COURSE I love to see. And I think she has the capacity to be more ruthless. ANYWAY, awesome character, A+++ (please read Midnight Furies)

ϟ Hiruma would probably have at least two children and three at the most.

ϟ  Regardless of Gender, Hiruma would give his children the same opportunities one way or the other. His kids, in his eyes, are simply the best and deserve the best. He won’t have anyone talking badly about his children, girl, boy or otherwise.

ϟ  It can be noted that Hiruma doesn’t have the most cordial relationship with his father, so as a father himself, he wouldn’t want that kind of strife with his own children. He would try to “fuckin’” be there for his “fuckin’” children.  

ϟ  Although he wouldn’t be outright the most affectionate person with his children, there is always a sense of pride that he takes in what his children do. He’s always the first to come to his child’s rescue, even if it is in a roundabout ‘in the shadows’ way, such as making sure his child has everything they need.

ϟ Unfortunately, because of his own ideals, he would be very strict with his children about hard work, effort, and winning. If his children fail at something, he’s going to make them try again until there is a better outcome. In his own way, he would express some encouraging words of no one gets good overnight, but he wouldn’t accept them giving up. Especially if it was an activity that they wanted to do. Hiruma wouldn’t let his children take the easy way out.

Life lessons with dad! Hiruma - explains the concept of survival of the fittest to his children.

ϟ  Although, as his child grows up, his influence becomes less and less. The older his children get, Hiruma begins to let them form their own autonomy and make their own decisions.  He starts off with leading the play, before throwing the ball to his child, and sitting back, letting them make a touchdown on their own.

ϟ  Hiruma is clever, calculative, and confident.  So, by default, he would teach his children to have the same confidence in themselves that he does. By no means are his children gullible, instead they are just as book smart and street smart as their father. Hiruma would teach his children the tricks of his trade so that they are able to acquire anything that they want or need. He won’t let them get pushed around by anyone. One of his biggest life lessons for his kids would be learning to take care of yourself and leave no trails behind when doing it.

ϟ  As a result, Hiruma would give his children their first black book early into their childhood. From that moment, he would teach them how to use it and when it was the appropriate times to use the information inside of it. Being his children, they definitely get the hang of it super quick.

It starts out with small things: that one time during recess when a kid picked their nose and wiped it on someone and nobody said anything.

Sharing a snack with someone and using that as leverage for them to share with them at another time, no matter what the snack is.

Breaking something in the classroom and not telling, but using it against them when they try to tell on you “Remember that time you broke the iPad and I didn’t tell the teacher who it was”

Hiruma would be lowkey proud of his child for using the book.

ϟ  Concerning football, Hiruma won’t 100% expect his children to play, but he does 100% expect them to like at least the game. When they were children, Hiruma took them out to play football every Saturday as their bonding time.

ϟ  Let’s face it, Hiruma is still going to have his firearms around, but as an attempt to be more responsible around his children, he makes sure that they are away and that they can’t get to them. However, he would still educate his children about types of guns and how to properly shoot. Often when they were younger, Hiruma would take his children out to the range for practice.

ϟ  Of course, Hiruma’s going to have a dog, maybe more than one. In a rare show of niceness, he might let his children pick out their pets—but he will absolutely train them to be the damn best guard dogs you’ve ever seen.

ϟ  All in all, Hiruma would not be a perfect dad, by any means, but he would do his damn best, guys.

Hiruma is trans and here’s why

estranged himself from his parents as early as possible and in general seems to have a pretty distant relationship with them

also became financially independent as early as possible

bonded with adult strangers over his peers (much easier to pass when you havent been in school with them since childhood)

his drastic appearance change (dyed hair, piercings)

as lots of trans people and gay people in general know, modifying your body in small ways like haircut and piercings to establish control over it in that way since you cant in others and feel that much more masculine is a big thing

when he finally gets himself friends who accept him, he is extremely loyal to them and forms a very close-knit group 

“We dont have to waste asking for things we dont have. We can only look for the best way to fight with the things we have for our whole life.”

This quote is basically the pinnacle of hiruma’s arc, and sums up how his arc as a whole is relatable to the trans experience

A lot of his arc is about him versus the limitations of his body (how fast he can run, how fast he can throw, how quickly he can think of plans) and ultimately he came to terms with himself as is and now just looks “for the best way to fight” with it as is

Mwahahahahaha, an opportunity to write clusterfic stuff! And Victor clusterfic stuff, which is a whole lot rarer. I’m still building this cluster, so I’m just sticking to Victor, Agon, Bianchi and Dan, okay?

For anyone- actually, I don’t think I’ve spoken about clusterfic at all on my blog. I have two large multifandom crossovers in the works called ‘clusterfics’ because they involve characters in clusters a la Sense8. The one @boycottromance is asking for here is the second and newer one, featuring Victor Nikiforov (YOI), Kongo Agon (ES21), Bianchi (KHR) and Dan Wilds (AftG).

1. For all that Victor and Agon are like chalk and cheese, they get along almost distressingly well compared to the rest of the cluster. It’s enough to give people headaches, because both the boys are so different. Except where it counts, possibly, because they breathe sports, are naturals at their craft in a way that Dan has never been and Bianchi was in a completely different line. Agon respects Victor because he’s good at what he does. Victor respects Agon because he’s an absolute asshole and is never apologetic or defensive about it. That kind of attitude is something he wants.

2. It’s unsurprising that Victor grows up to be such a stone cold bastard when he has to be. Agon finds it absolutely hilarious, as does Bianchi. Dan, who still remembers the child with scrapped knees who was quick to tear up like something out of a Disney movie whenever he fell really hard while skating finds that she misses Victor the boy, who never hesitated to show real human emotion.

3. Agon can never figure out how to react to Bianchi and Dan. He’s lived a large part of his youth spending time with girls who wanted to waste time with him, a quick lay in the sheets or against a convenient table or wall meaning nothing to any of them. He knows all about how to deal with women like that, less so when confronted with women like Bianchi and Dan. Bianchi, who’s heart wrenching, a handful of broken glass and lace and oozing blood. Beautiful. But who’d chew him up and spit him out faster than anything else. Agon can never figure out if he loves her or hates her.

4. Dan is both easier and more complicated. Agon finds it easy to poke fun at her choices in high school, less easy to defend himself against a knee that goes straight for his nuts and an attitude that takes zero shit from him. Dan’s never afraid to get in his face if he’s doing something wrong, and he hates that. And hates her. He can never figure out how to handle her, and it’s a completely different emotion from Bianchi, who feels like a friend he might have known as a child, a sister, a classmate, himself. Dan is raw and rough and strong in a way that Agon has never needed to be, and he doesn’t know what to do with the fact that she’s him in another body.

5. It’s easier to understand her after the Devil Bats have trampled them to the ground. Agon hates, and hates, and hates, seethes with the strength of it. Dan just sits beside him through the entire ordeal, understanding in a way that Victor isn’t, because he’s forgetting what it means to lose the older her gets. Dan? Never forgets. She grits her teeth and tightens her gloves, and makes them all stand up and fight when they forget how. Agon hates that he respects her for that.

6. Victor finds that he needs other people less, when he finds his clustermates. Dan claims it’s unhealthy, Agon just rolls his eyes, and Bianchi gently ruffles his hair, something odd in her eyes when she focuses on her fingers tangled in ash blond strands. He feels comfortable with them in a way no one else feels comfortable, and he never actually needs to explain himself to them. It’s the explanations that tire him out, having to break down his thoughts in a way that make sense to other people. Yakov is the only one patient with him, but then, Yakov is his coach, much like Lilia later becomes his ballet instructor. Their patience isn’t unconditional like his cluster’s.

7. He supposes he will regret his disconnect with the world at some point. Until he has to regret it, though, he only revel’s in the colder edge it gives him when he skates. Agon always approves - as he always has, and always will, when it comes to winning.

8. It’s why Agon losing hits him so hard, when it does happen.

do you have any headcanons about mamori organizing a secret santa gift exchange among the devil bats?

I did not before this request but now I definitely do. This idea was hilarious and so much fun to think about. I had an absolute blast writing this and I hope it translates into a post that’s fun to read for any Devil Bats fans!

I think I’ve said this in a prior Christmas themed headcanon for Hiruma, but from spending his time around the Americans on the base, he actually grew to really like Secret Santa or White Elephant gift exchanges. While Mamori ends up being the one to do all the organizing and running of the gift exchange for the team, it was Hiruma’s idea to do it.

A lot of the team members weren’t really into the idea and most of them were ready to opt out of it. They really tried. The Ha-Ha Bros and Musashi were especially against it – they just had no interest in it whatsoever (or Togano pretended to have no interest in it, despite actually having an interest in it, because he didn’t want his friends to think he was a dork).

Hiruma left them zero choice, however. There were some threats, some blackmail, some showing off of his impressive gun collection…except for Musashi. With him, Hiruma just kind of had coffee with him, managed to get up enough donations for a project Musashi’s family’s construction company was organizing for the Christmas season, and Musashi agreed to participate.

Mamori makes it clear that she’s against his bullying and she tries to help everyone else when it comes to the Secret Santa. While she can’t participate in the gift exchange, because she’s organizing and running it, she makes it clear to everyone that she’ll be more than happy to help them out in any way she can. She does everything she can to make the Secret Santa as easy on everyone as she can. Knowing that some of the players don’t have as much extra cash as some of the others, she sets a budget limit to make everything clear. She has everyone do up lists of things they’d enjoy getting in the gift exchange, so that when she does the draw to assign people their giftee, they’ll have something to go by.

This touchy-feely stuff is a little too annoying for Hiruma. He has to make everything just a bit more interesting and fun for him. So, despite Mamori making the draw and matching up people, he calls the team back together the next day and surprises them with a ‘re-draw’. Except he didn’t draw anything and instead paired people up with giftees that would amuse him the most.

The tension between him and Mamori, and the fight that ensued, was off the charts. Hiruma still got his way though, but Mamori insisted on the gifters still being allowed to have the lists of what the person would like.

In order to annoy her just a bit more, and to make things funnier for him, Hiruma said that was fine…but that there was going to be another surprise twist. There would be a prize for the best Secret Santa gift given and the person who gave the worst Secret Santa gift would get a punishment game.

Knowing Hiruma’s punishment games, the team is now a little terrified.

The budget limit gets broken in several cases as members do everything they can not to be in that last place.

However, even with the slight bit of fear, as the gift exchange gets closer and closer, it starts to occur to a lot of them that this is actually kind of fun. A lot of them get into the competitiveness of it all, there gets to be a lot of teasing and good-natured shit-talking, people are taking guesses on who got who, they’re seeking advice from other teammates and spending time with some of their teammates that they normally wouldn’t. It’s actually a really good time.

Mamori is actually kind of touched by seeing all this. It makes her really happy, though she won’t admit that any of Hiruma’s ideas are to credit for this.

The gifter-giftee’s were: Sena was assigned Juumonji, Kurita was assigned Doburoku, Ishimaru was assigned Togano, Monta was assigned Musashi, Juumonji was assigned Yamaoka, Kuroki was assigned Sena, Togano was assigned Omosadake, Komusubi was assigned Satake, Yukimitsu was assigned Suzuna, Taki was assigned Ishimaru, Musashi was assigned Komusubi, Suzuna was assigned Kurita, Satake was assigned Yukimitsu, Yamaoka was assigned Monta, Omosadake was assigned Taki, and Doburoku was assigned Kuroki.

Suzuna won the grand prize because she managed to get Kurita’s favourite bakery to make and name a new type of cream puff after him.

Doburoku lost because he literally just tried to give an underage kid liquor. His punishment game? He had to sign a contract to coach the Devil Bats for at least the next five years.

Headcanon Thought: Hiruma deals with Arachnophobia

@fandonnavyce and I were talking about one of my future prompts, and this thought came up!

It's a normal and mundane fear, and nothing of the like ever comes up in canon! So here we go, some random thoughts from me and Vyce on the topic:

Random situation, let's say they have to walk down a spider-infested hallway. Dude would find 101 reasons to not do so, and will fire gunshots to scare the others into going in his stead. No one questions it, of course. It's Hiruma, after all!

EXCEPT Musashi, who gives Hiruma a side glance that just screams "I know what you are"

Hiruma will have a 3-meter-away staring contest with a spider, silently willing it to fucking go away so he can pass

He will randomly kick someone, and out of context, no one gives it any thought. In reality, he saw a spider, and kicked them that way to squish it.

He'll suddenly pull out his flamethrower and torches a bush. No one questions it. (The bush was absolutely infested)

He may have a stone-cold poker face on while doing this, but he's screeching unintelligible demonic noises internally

Of course, he will kill them himself. Usually with a well-aimed bullet, or flamethrower. No one thinks twice. "It's Hiruma. To him, "there's no Kill like Overkill" (thanks to Vyce for that quote LOL)

To Hiruma, there's Over-the-Top, and Disappointing. Nothing else, no in between

I accept this headcanon. Also Akaba brings his electric guitar everywhere, dyeing his hair for the rock aesthetic fits much better than contacts. Plus his constantly wearing sunglasses takes away from showing off specialty contacts but is totally reasonable for someone with sensitive eyes. 

It’d be funny if Akaba was careful about protecting his eyes from a young age, like his parents constantly reminding him to wear his sunglasses, to the point adults constantly remarked on and chuckled over how “cool” the boy always appeared and jokes about it is what led him to too-cool rockstar outfits and kicked off his taste in music. It went from adorable to working really well once he hit his teens and a growth spurt and then no one could argue with the hair dye.

I’m guessing Hayato Akaba has ocular albinism, where a lack of pigmentation in the irises causes extreme light sensitivity and a red/pink hue b/c of exposed blood vessels

makes perfect sense for someone with a visual disability like that to need an eyeshield or sunglasses to see

- I love the little corner of the fandom that I hang out in, it’s a very fun and comfy corner 💖

- in our corner we aren’t afraid to discuss and often even criticize canon, all while being fans of it, because there’s certainly plenty of things to criticize! One thing I can’t stand in some fandoms is when people are unable or unwilling to listen to criticisms of the source material, so this is a definite plus for me. because I like to bitch a lot.

- the creativity in this fandom is awesome! From people organizing events to those who participate to the fanart and fics and meta that exist— it’s honestly great.

For ES21

- because it’s a minuscule small fandom, there’s really no fandom drama to speak of.

- the few people who are still active in this fandom are very friendly and welcoming ✨

- despite me being into a pretty obscure ship at this point, I’ve found a like minded friend who I can talk about it with, which has been awesome!

2. a headcanon you weren’t sure about at first but have come to like!

HHHMMMMM. For Berserk I feel like I've been pretty decisive about whether I personally like a headcanon or not pretty quickly, because I feel Very Strongly about this series lol. I can't really think of one off the top of my head.

For es21, I guess I could say my ace headcanon for Hiruma? I used to not really think about it, but now I can't imagine him as anything other than on the ace spectrum.

9. a ship that isn’t your OTP but that you enjoy

Guts/Serpico, Casca/Charlotte, Slan paired with Casca or Charlotte or Farnese lol any of those three options would be great for different reasons. Also Slan/Danaan, because it's a vibe. Guts/Zodd and Griffith/Zodd are also a vibe.

For es21, like I mentioned before Shin/Sena is cute, Kid/Testuma might as well be canon as far as I'm concerned, uhhh. You know there's a ton of ship configurations in es21 since there's so many characters, but not many that I care about tbh 🤔

This is hard to say for berserk because it's a fandom that's deeeeeeeeeply divided on many things lol. Oh I love that Casca has muscles (at least during the GA)-- though idk what the dudebro consensus is about that lol, but they don't matter so who cares.

For es21, just how fucked up and wild Hiruma is as a character. I've already made this joke before so forgive me but he's like if Light Yagami and Bugs Bunny had a kid. It's great.

I have not watched/red Hanebado. Truthfully, I am 100% stuck in Tokyo Revengers hell so I haven't watched anything new since then lmao I shall live here for a while yet, me thinks

But I'll be honest too, I don't tend to watch anime with female protagonists XD it's really weird, cause everything else I read/watch has a bomb female protagonist, but I dunno, the way anime tends to do girls is off putting for me? I love some adjacent lead ladies though. And I suppose reverse harem anime is the exception to this? lol

I also generally only watch/read shounen or like fluffy romance anime? Limiting, true, but we all have our tastes!

I have watched the first season and a half of Yowamushi, but it's been a loooong ass time. There are other new sports anime I want to get to, but anime is basically watch it all in a couple sittings or don't watch it at all for me lol

I'm really trying to focused on using my time to write, and in truth, my mental health (ADHD specifically) makes it hard for me to sit through tv/movies so I'm slow picking up new series too. Then there is the fact that when I watch new things, especially in particular genres, I tend to get obsessed with that series until I watch another series. And since I am all in TR right now, I don't want to get distracted by another series.

Does that make sense? lol

I am struggling a little bit to get the rest of the asks done, especially the NSFW ones. Not sure why... part of it is I feel like I don't know some series as well (lookin at you ES21) but I will persevere!

Also, so many of you didn't read the headcanon requirement on the last ask open, so I hope you aren't too disappointed when you get headcanons instead of scenarios! Though scenarios are easier to write for nsfw for me, so who knows XD
