Katherine’s favourite things to do with Nadia / how are they bonding (obiche-tem verse)

So Katherine is still pretty on the rocks about Nadia. Its nothing Nadias doing actively (despite the fact that she kicked the actual SHIT out of Katherine when she cornered her in that allyway- BUT)

Nadia is so incredibly different from katherine, and she also knows Nadia is still really hurt from the past. Even IF Katherine's made it clear that she didnt just GIVE Nadia away theres still 500 years of resentment that doesnt just go away over night no matter how much they want it to.

For the moment Katherine enjoys taking Elijah's black card out of his wallet and taking Nadia on shopping sprees to help her put her room together. Its a gesture most wouldn't read correctly, but Katherine not only giving Nadia a room in her house, but letting her make it her own? Means that Katherine has every intention of having Nadia stay in her little family. ANd when they go shopping she learns little things about Nadia and her likes. Plus, shes really enjoying telling her tips and tricks on sales and certain items of quality and which ones to avoid.

Nadia isn't a child like Katherine is, she doesnt find the same games as amusing, she is a lot more mature which is something Katherine isnt by default (it has to be a situational call) so finding things they both like has been difficult, but Katherine IS trying. She really is, and she hopes Nadia sees that.

This blog is a smorgasbord of well-developed characters. So far, I've been interacting with Caroline, Jenna, Freya, Rebekah, and a little bit of Nadia Petrova. Each muse's portrayal is written differently from each other, you'd hardly believe that they were all written by one mun. Speaking of the mun, she's a sweetheart ❤. Nuff said. But, yeah. I'm enjoying my threads with her and watching the relationships between our muses evolve, especially Caroline for some reason and look forward to more interaction (is that the right word?).

I wonder if they want to know what the future holds, as for right now, they are a COLLEGE STUDENT AT WHITMORE ? i’ve heard they can be pretty MANIPULATIVE. how typical for a WHITELIGHTER. i guess they must rely on their LOVING side shining through. rumor has it they’re trying to hide THE FACT THAT SHE HAS AGREED TO COME BACK AS A WHITELIGHTER TO FIND OUT WHERE HER MOTHER’S SOUL WENT, but that’s probably just noise…

As we know nadia is the only daughter of katherine pierce. She was taken from katherine at birth and adopted into another family. based on the language she speaks in tvd, some people thought she was adopted into a family from czechoslovakia, which is clearly not bulgaria. So i’m going to keep this as a way to explain why katherine was never able to find her. That when she was adopted it was to a rich/noble family in czechoslovakia.

Also because of being adopted, nadia’s name is from her adopted family. They named her. Her adopted/growing up name was Nadia Vesela. But when she went looking for the truth about her bio family, and found out about her mother and after her adopted family died, changed her name back to Petrova. 

Relating to her human life; 

Nadia had a good life. She was very very well off. She was a good daughter. She did as she was told and married at 15 when her parents found her a good husband. She went to live with this man. He wasn’t a bad man or anything and maybe he loved Nadia and Nadia is one way loved him, but it wasn’t true or soul making love.

Nadia got pregnant the year after the wedding and had a baby boy. But giving birth left her sick and she spent the next few years in bed. When she got pregnant again, it was accepted that Nadia wouldn’t survive labor. Nadia at the time was having an affair with a vampire maid that was living in the family home, (maybe they were a poly thing with the husband, i’ll leave it open) and Nadia’s husband and her agreed that Nadia should take vampire blood before the birth in case she died. Nadia of course died and was turned into a vampire. She had intended to stay with her family but as a newly turned vampire she attacked her husband and agreed it wasn’t safe to be around her kids. So she left with her sire.

Her family told everyone that she had died, so Nadia could only return for brief moment to see her kids and love them from afar. It was this distance from her own kids and the way it broke her heart that lead her to wonder about her own mother. Wonder how someone could leave their child? This started Nadia’s search for her mother. In which she learnt she was the child of one and only Katherine Pierce. Everything in canon is just as we see it. Nadia wanting her mother but Katherine pushing her away till their deaths.

Nadia wouldn’t go to peace without her mother, she wanted in limbo for the other woman to turn and when she realized that she wasn’t. She was stuck, waiting for her mother. When Landon turned up in limbo offering people to go back, she took the chance to return to find out where her mother was.

Thoughts on the character: Honestly Elijah was my fave Mikaelson till he ditched KATHERINE AND THEN I WAS LIVID. I love Nadia shes a bad bitch and doing the petrova line JUSTICE- We dont get to see a lot of amara but poor baby just needs a nap and some good hugs.

Have you interacted before: We interact a LOT as if Katherine would let Elijah OR Nadia rest for half a second. They BOTH have to wrangle their exotic pet in constantly.

Favorite part of portrayal: Honestly I love how well you have everyones voice down. Elijah/Nadia/Amara are VASTLY different characters and you play them the best out of any of your muses. While i love them all, Nadia remains the top in my heart. You are just FLAWLESS in everything to do with her. I honestly think you capture english not being her first language so *beautifully*- because unlike Katherine she didn't Americanize herself.

One piece of advice: Bother Katherine more with all of them. Random stuff is ALWAYS welcome.
