Levi was taking a lovely walk through the park, enjoying the weather of the city and appreciating the lush outdoor space, listening to a podcast as he strolled. He had been on his way to get himself a nice smoothie or something when he spotted two large dogs running down the sidewalk towards him. He was a little scared until he noticed the two dogs were both smiling and likely meant nothing malicious from them, moreover someone was chasing after them. He readied himself to crouch over and pet the dogs, but didn’t manage to do it in time, soon being knocked to the ground on his back by the two dogs. Unable to hold himself back, he started laughing as the dogs licked his face excitedly, likely thinking that he was someone else.

Grey's Anatomy Idea.
My idea for part of the next 2 episodes of Grey's combined with Station 19. Station 19 towards the end of tonight's episode they get called to a big fire maybe at an apartment building that Nico maybe lives at. Jackson per promo joins Ben to help. Next week's episode is focused on fighting the fire. Then at some point maybe Nico or Jackson or both get injured. The tail end of Grey's we see them finding out about the fire from watching a TV then start ramping up for the mass casualties. Then patients start rolling in. Owen might be the first one to greet the first ambulance & yell out it's one of ours. Where left till next season wondering who is injured, what injuries & will they make it. Episode 22 could have bern treating the casualties. Since I read Owen makes a shocking discovery; maybe it's the paternity results & that Amelia lied or about the pro bono surgeries.
Next season premiere could involve whoever is hurt recovering. If Nico is hurt it could lead to Levi still caring & being around his hospital room only to run into Nico's patents & he finds out that Nico told them about Levi & being gay & they are not happy & say some harsh words to him. That explains Nico's attitude before breakup then leads to some conversations that Nico can't get out of by using sex. If it's episodes of recovery before he's released then Jo & Levi get to still live together. At some point this leads Nico to realizing that the dream job is nothing without the dream job & they get back together.

Chapter 2 - Counting Memories
I see this life, like a swinging vine,
Swing my heart across the line.
And in my face is flashing signs,
Seek it out and ye shall find.
“Schmitt! Schmitt, wait up!”
Levi stifled a yawn as he heard his name being called down the corridor.
The four hundred and second day had been a long one that had somehow merged into the four hundred and third day.
He’d just pulled a thirty hour shift shadowing Teddy Altman in the ER. Over the past few months he’d fallen in love with trauma and Teddy was a great teacher.
He missed ortho some days, or maybe it was as simple as he missed Nico. He couldn’t tell if he actually ever liked his ortho rotations or if he’d just liked getting to spend time with the fellow.
Since Nico left, Levi had avoided ortho like the plague so he hadn’t had a chance to determine whether or not he liked it without Nico there.
Considering his lack of participation in ortho, he was extremely surprised when he turned to see it was Link calling his name.
Levi liked Doctor Lincoln a lot, he was a stupidly nice guy who’d always been the biggest advocate of Levi and Nico’s relationship.
The problem was, Link reminded Levi of Nico. Not because they looked alike or acted alike because honestly the two were like chalk and cheese. But Link and Nico had arrived at Grey Sloan together and as such the two became like a pair in Levi’s mind.
Seeing Link and talking to Link only made Levi realise what was missing.
And that was Nico.
“Oh, hi Doctor Lincoln.” Levi mentally chastised himself for calling him Doctor Lincoln.
Link frowned at him like he knew he would.
“Schmitt, how many times?” The ortho attending laughed. “It’s Link.”
Levi wanted to argue that Link still called him Schmitt but he thought better of it.
“Sorry, Link,” he corrected himself. “Is something wrong? Can I help you with something?”
“Maybe,” Link mused with a smile. “I’ve missed you on ortho. No other resident gets it like you do.”
“Oh,” Levi chewed his lip. “Oh, sorry Doctor Lin-” he stopped himself. “Sorry Link, I’ve really been trying to focus on trauma recently. I’m really enjoying shadowing Altman.”
The irony of Levi focusing his mind on trauma after he’d been through his own kind of trauma was not lost on him.
“Oh I thought Parker had that in the bag.” Link shrugged.
“We can both specialise in trauma.” Levi huffed, sounding a little like a child being told he couldn’t have the last cookie.
Link laughed in that easy way he did that put people at ease. It didn’t work on Levi, not today.
“So, you think you’ll specialise in trauma?”
“I really don’t know.” Levi stifled a yawn. “Is that what you wanted to talk to me about? Because I’m really tired, I just got done with a thirty hour shift…” as if to prove a point he actively yawned now.
“I’m going to a conference in Nevada next week on alternative pain relief in sports medicine. I can take my most promising resident along with me. Now if you like I can ask someone else but I do think it would be-“
“You want me to come?” Levi was suddenly wide awake, large eyes even larger than usual as he stared at Link expectantly.
“I was hoping you might consider it.”
“Considered. Decided. I’d love to!” Levi practically screeched as he bounced up and down on the balls of his feet.
“Atta boy.” Link chuckled, patting him on the back. “You’re on my service until then though, that’s the deal.” Link was already walking away and Levi was only half listening anymore.
“Yes, yes of course Doctor Linc…Link! Thank you! Thank you so much! I won’t let you down, sir!”
Sir? Did he really just call Link sir?
Link carried on walking, waving a hand over his shoulder.
“Show me, don't tell me, Schmitt.” He called back before he rounded the corner and disappeared, leaving Levi doing a little dance in the corridor.
Most promising resident, those words rang out in Levi’s head so loudly he didn’t even mind it meant he had to work on ortho for a few days. Not glasses, not blood bank but most promising resident.
He ran and found Taryn in the residents locker room and excitedly jumped on her from behind.
“We’re going to Joe’s, drinks are on me!” He giggled as she all but threw him off her.
She frowned at him sceptically.
“I think I prefer depressed Levi.” She grumbled. “But I won’t turn down free drinks.”
“Are we invited?” Casey grinned at him as he swapped out his scrub top for a t-shirt.
“Yeah, whatever you’re celebrating, we’ll be glad to tag along for free drinks.” Dahlia added.
“Sure, what the hell!” Levi was beaming as he started changing. ”I’m Doctor Lincoln’s most promising resident.”
The other three exchanged a look as he started humming to himself.
Four hundred and three days it had taken, but finally Levi had a smile on his face.
***
He was still smiling the following morning despite his hangover.
Taryn, Casey and Dahlia all looked like hell and truthfully Levi probably did as well.
But nothing could put a damper on his good mood. Not even hearing Taryn whisper to the others as he practically skipped from the room, “he didn’t mark the calendar today. I think he’s finally fixed.”
He was in such a jubilant mood he almost ploughed right into Grey and DeLuca in the corridor.
“I’m sorry!” He sing-songed. “Didn’t see you two there!”
“Are you ok?” DeLuca frowned at him.
“Yeah, Schmitt it’s been a while see I’ve seen you so…perky.” Grey agreed.
Four hundred and four days to be specific.
“I’m good! Better than good actually, I’m great! Have you seen Doctor Lincoln?”
“I think he was heading to the pit.” DeLuca was still frowning.
“Thanks! Have a terrific day!” He grinned at them before running off towards the pit.
He caught up with Link as he was throwing on a coverall over his scrubs on his way to the ambulance bay.
Levi couldn’t help the sudden pang in his chest he got whenever he went near the ambulance bay. He wished this hospital wasn’t full of memories of Nico. He wished he could turn a corner in this place without having a reminder of the time they shared together.
He will not let Nico Kim put a downer in his mood. He will absolutely not allow it.
“What have we got?” He grabbed his own coverall, catching up with Link.
“Incoming trauma. Guy fell of his bike at a high speed. Possible femur break.” Link filled him in. “Good to have you back, Schmitt.”
Levi smiled but it wasn’t to the same degree as he earlier.
He looked out across the ambulance bay and could practically hear the wind blowing the way it had been that day. He swore he could hear the thump of Nico’s head colliding with the ambulance.
He could feel Nico’s body heat as they undressed each other in the ambulance and he could feel Nico’s slightly clammy skin under his fingertips.
He could smell Nico’s soft cologne and his shampoo.
He could feel the nerves bubbling in his stomach the first time Nico freed Levi from the confine of his pants. He could hear the heavens screaming at him how right this all felt when he was coming undone at Nico’s touch.
He could hear Nico’s pants and soft moans as he returned the favour.
“Schmitt!”
He was pulled out of his gaze by Link running towards him with a gurney.
“Schmitt, a little help!”
Don’t get him wrong he was ecstatic to be Link’s most promising resident and to be picked to attend the conference with him. But being back on ortho without Nico sucked.
***
The OR was quiet as Levi assisted Link on the open reduction and internal fixation of their patients femur.
Levi watched the older surgeon repositioned the pieces of his femur bone and reconnected them with screws and wires. It was a fascinating procedure. But Levi’s mind was still elsewhere entirely.
He had three favourite memories of his time spent with Nico and for some ungodly reason they were coming to the surface now.
The first was the sparkle in Nico’s eyes on their first date. Nico had never referred to it as such but Levi always thought of it as their first proper date.
They’d stopped for dinner on the way back to Nico’s apartment, a small bistro nearby. It was late and all but empty except the staff.
As Nico had looked at Levi across the table, he had a glint in his eye that Levi never could believe was directed at him.
The main reason Levi liked to think of it as a date is because after at Nico’s they had sex for the first time.
It was far from their best effort, it was Levi’s first time with a guy and there were some hurdles and a huge learning curve.
But if Nico was willing to teach, he was willing to learn. And although that first time was far from perfect, Levi loved every second of it.
The second memory was from a few days later when they’d been sitting on a bench outside the hospital with coffees between surgeries.
In a small gesture, Nico had reached across the space between them and gently rested his hand on top of Levi’s.
Levi looked up at him, slightly wide eyed and Nico just smiled that heart stopping smile at him, keeping his hand where it was.
It told Levi that Nico didn’t care who knew. Nico didn’t care if he was seen holding hands with Levi, in fact he seemed proud about it.
And it made Levi’s heart soar.
The third was a conversation Levi overheard in the scrub room.
Levi didn’t catch the whole conversation between Link and Nico that day. He’d been trying to find one of them as Hunt had been paging an ortho consult to the pit for the last twenty minutes. When he’d gotten no response he’d sent Levi to find one of them.
When he’d walked into the scrub room, Nico and Link had their backs to him as they scrubbed after surgery and clearly they didn’t hear him come in.
“He’s cool, you know. We’re having fun.”
Nico had given Link a smile.
Being the pessimist that is he, Levi instantly thought Nico must be talking about someone else. Did he have multiple guys on the go?
But he didn’t need to worry long.
“Nico’s got a boyfriend.” Link teased him with a nudge to the arm.
“I don’t know. We’re having fun and I…” Nico trailed off with a slight slight sigh. “Yeah you’re right. I do have a boyfriend.” He chuckled. “Guess Levi is my boyfriend.”
Levi had made a strange little squeak hearing Nico refer to him as his boyfriend, causing both Nico and Link to spin around, wide eyed.
“I-I…uh…” Levi’s mouth was incredibly dry all of a sudden. “Hunt needs an ortho consult in the pit.”
Nico was smirking, probably at the fact Levi’s voice was several octaves higher than usual.
Link excused himself with a laugh, leaving them alone.
“You ok?” Nico chuckled, shaking the water off his hands and walking closer to Levi.
“Mmm hmm.” Levi nodded.
“Should I not have called you my boyfriend?” Nico was now right in front of him, towering over him.
“No. I mean yes. I mean-“ he was silenced by Nico’s lips on his and everything he’d previously been thinking melted away.
That had happened in the scrub room of OR Two which was where he found himself now.
Link knew exactly what was going through Levi’s head.
“So, excited for Nevada?” Link glanced up at Levi whilst tightening one of the screws.
Levi’s gaze shot up to meet Link’s.
“Are you trying to replace Nico with me?” His words came flying out and they were a lot harsher than he’d meant them.
Link didn’t seem as though he was taken back. He kept his gaze steady and continued his work on the screws.
“No one can replace Nico, you know that Schmitt. Why do you think we still have an open ortho attending position after a year?”
Four hundred and four days actually, Levi thought. But who’s keeping count?
“He’s not…he’s not irreplaceable.” Levi scoffed as though Link were being ridiculous.
It was a good job they wore masks in the OR because Link didn’t think Levi would appreciate the smirk on his lips.
“Try telling yourself that.” He suddenly dropped his instruments in the tray making a loud clang. “I’m about done here. Schmitt, why don’t you close for me?”
Levi nodded stoically, trying not to let Link’s words play on his mind too much as he stitched up the leg wound of their patient.
His short-lived elation was well and truly destroyed.
After four hundred and four days he was starting to think he might never be able to be happy again.

Heartbeats (Ch 5)
a/n: hi! sorry for the delay with this...but it’s back!
-----------------
Amelia grimaced as she tied the back of her husband's hospital gown, wincing at the sight of his pale skin. He'd definitely lost weight, even if it had only been a few weeks since he started chemo. She sighed and dropped her hand from his back, lightly tracing down his spine as she did so. "You're feeling okay?" Link turned to face her.
"Not really." He sat down on the bed, running his hand over the neatly made sheets on the bed. Amelia crossed her arms as she watched him.
"So, we haven't really talked since our fight."
"Do we have time for this right now?" She cringed and looked down into her lap, where her hands were neatly folded over each other, her thumb absentmindedly running over the back of her hand. "Teddy said she would be coming in soon to examine me before surgery." Amelia nodded, grabbing her phone from her purse. She'd spent the past week sleeping in the guest room, avoiding any time where the two of them might be alone in fear of the fight that would break out between them.
"I'll bring Scout to come and visit after surgery. Once you're cleared, of course." Link smirked at his wife.
"As long as I don't look too scary," he muttered, pulling the thin blanket over his legs. "If there are too many wires, he might freak out and think I'm a robot now."
"I think he'll be fine. He kept asking me what parts of your body they're going to cut open; he's a pretty gruesome kid." They both laughed momentarily, freezing like statues when the door was pushed open.
"Hey, we just need to take some blood before surgery and examine you again," Teddy spoke, walking towards Link. He sat up and held his arm out. "Hopefully, the poking and prodding will stop soon," she joked, inserting a needle into his arm.
"I'm surprised I've got any left; it feels like someone comes in here to take blood every hour."
"Well, you're a pretty good sport." Teddy pulled off her gloves, closing the vial of blood and placing it down on her cart. "I'll send an intern to check on you in about an hour, and then I'll be here to take you up to surgery at noon." She rubbed Link's shoulder lightly in support before exiting the room, leaving Amelia to pull a stool over to the bed.
"I told my parents," he confessed, taking her hand in his. "They were really freaked out, my mom cried, and my dad went silent, so you've gotta keep them updated during surgery." Her free hand moved to the side of Link's face, and she kissed him slowly, pulling back and resting her forehead against his.
"Thank you. For telling them," she whispered. Link could feel the smile that was playing across her lips as he leaned up to kiss her again, his hand wrapping around her head to pull her down to him. "Mm," she moaned at the familiar feeling of her husband's lips on hers.
"I missed you." His voice was low as he pulled her closer to him, Amelia throwing one of her legs over his body on the hospital bed so she was straddling him.
"Oh, crap, I'll come back," a voice spoke from the doorway. The couple broke apart quickly, Amelia almost falling off the bed as she pulled back just for Link's hand to wrap around her back and catch her.
"Nico, I didn't realize you were coming," Link muttered, steadying his wife as she stood up. "Sorry, now is fine." The other orthopedic surgeon shook his head in amusement and approached Link, pulling his stethoscope from his neck.
"Your heart rate is elevated; any explanation for that?" Nico teased, pulling up the chart on the tablet. "But, everything looks fine. Surgery should only take about 4 hours, and I'll have Levi make sure to text you updates," he motioned towards Amelia. "And again. We're not looking for complete margins today; we're just hoping to remove enough of the cancer to stop it from spreading further around your body while you continue chemo."
"You say that like I haven't done this surgery myself," Link mused, grabbing Amelia's hand.
"It's different when you're the patient. I'm still required to explain everything in simple terms and make sure that you both understand." Nico entered the man's blood pressure into the tablet and shut it off. "Any questions?"
"Can I sign a DNR before surgery?" Amelia's jaw dropped, and her eyebrows rose up to the ceiling as she released her husband's hand.
"What?"
"I'll have a nurse bring that in for you," Nico muttered, quickly excusing himself from the room. The door locked shut, and Amelia made eye contact with Link.
"What is this about a DNR?" He sighed, scooching over in the bed to create space for her.
"Look, I've been doing a lot of thinking, and if anything happens, I don't want you to have to hold onto some tiny strand of hope that I might one day get better." Link watched a tear roll down her face. "Amelia, please don't cry. This surgery is just to remove some of the cancer; I'm not going to die during it. I just want to start making sure that everything will be taken care of if something does happen in the future."
"I just wish you had told me before. I need to know what's going on with everything, especially what you're thinking about."
"I called our lawyer and got my will in order. Mine hadn't been updated since the pandemic." He placed a hand under her chin, tilting her face to look at him. "Amelia, what you said the other week made me feel terrible. I haven't been checking in on you as much as I should be, and I know this is insanely difficult for you, too." She glanced down at his arm, her lips forming a pout. "So, I want to make sure that if everything goes to shit and something happens to me, you'll both be okay. Everything will be taken care of, and all you'll have to do is take care of each other."
"Link, please don't talk like that," Amelia nearly cried out, whimpering as she placed her hand on his chest. "I don't want to think about that, okay?" He dropped a kiss on the top of her head and brought her closer to his body.
"Okay, let's just lay here for a little while, okay? I'm not going anywhere, Amelia."
-----------------
"Schmitt says they'll be closing up soon," Meredith rubbed her hand up and down her sister's back. "He's alright, Amelia." The brunette pursed her lips, running her hands through her hair.
"Am I gonna freak out every time he has surgery? Cause they've got, like, three more planned as of now, and if this happens every time, I think I might have a heart attack."
"I was almost convinced you were going to have a panic attack for a minute there. We'll find some distractions or do some fancy breathing techniques." Amelia grinned and pulled her phone out of her pocket. "When are you heading home?"
"Uh, I'll wait for Link to wake up and stay with him a bit. Scout's a little terrified, though, so I'm gonna bring him tomorrow when Link looks less like a zombie." She dragged her fingers over the seams of the couch in the attendings' lounge, glancing up at her sister. "Thank you for staying with me."
"Of course."
-----------------
"Hey, look who's awake," Amelia whispered, cupping her husband's face with her hand. He smiled tiredly and brought his hand up to cover hers.
"Hey," his voice was hoarse as he spoke. "How did it go?"
"As planned, they got decent margins, and now you're sentenced back to chemo for the next few weeks." She sat down on the side of the bed. "How do you feel?"
"Like I just woke up from surgery, and I'm super high on painkillers," he muttered, a wider grin showing on his face. "How long until I can go home?"
"You've got a day or two here. I'm heading home in a bit to go comfort Scout; he's still not convinced that you're not dead, even though Maggie got him pizza and spent the afternoon with him explaining that surgery went fine." He nodded, holding an arm open.
"Come cuddle," he moaned tiredly, shoving his face back down into the pillow.
"I have to leave soon. You're not the only one I have to take care of here, just one of many men in my life," she teased, slowly easing herself down into his embrace. "Just for a little bit."
"Mm. I love you, Amelia."
"You are on so many painkillers," she joked, kissing his hand. "But, I love you too."
-----------------
"Mommy!" Amelia grinned and kneeled down to greet her son, her arms spread widely before she embraced him tightly, kissing the side of his head.
"Hey, Scout," she picked him up, balancing the boy on her hip. "How was your day with Aunt Maggie?" Amelia made eye contact with Maggie and grinned widely, mouthing a quick 'Thank you' before Maggie excused herself, brushing her hand over her sister's shoulder as a goodbye.
"We went to the park, and Aunt Maggie got ice cream for us!" She smiled and walked into the living room, her mouth dropping at the sight in front of her.
"And what is this?"
"We made a pillow fort!" She set Scout down and got onto her hands and knees, crawling into the entrance of the fort. Scout followed her in and grabbed the stuffed giraffe past the opening, clinging it to his chest and laying onto the floor that had been covered in pillows and blankets. "Is Daddy okay?"
"Yeah, didn't Aunt Maggie tell you? They cut into his chest," she reached over to tickle her son's chest, "and took out some of the cancer so that Daddy can feel better." He giggled as she continued to tickle him, rolling over in the small area. Once she stopped, Scout moved to cuddle into her side, tucking his giraffe in between them.
"When do I see Daddy?"
"Tomorrow, once he's recovered a bit from surgery." She glanced down at him to see him sucking on his thumb, a nervous habit he'd developed, and they'd tried hard to get rid of. "Hey, Daddy's okay," her voice fell to a whisper, and she pulled Scout closer to her body.
"It's scary when Daddy has surgery. I don't like it." Amelia sighed and looked up at the thin sheet creating a make-shift ceiling over them, letting in a bit of light from the kitchen.
"I know, it's scary for all of us, even for Daddy. But, no more surgery for a little while, now he's going to get more medicine." A quiet sniffle filled the space, and Amelia quickly moved her hand to brush through his hair. "Hey, you're feeling really scared?" He nodded his head with tears in his eyes, grabbing his giraffe again.
"I don't want Daddy to die." The mother pouted her lip out, her eyebrows furrowing as her son looked up at her.
"I promise that he's okay right now." She pulled up a blanket from near a wall of the fort and pulled it over them. "How about we sleep in here tonight? Just you and me, and tomorrow we'll go to visit Daddy." He nodded. "I'll be right here when you wake up, don't worry." Amelia stayed awake until she felt her son's breathing settle into a pattern and the familiar light snores coming from his mouth. "Goodnight," she whispered, closing her own eyes and allowing herself to finally relax for the first time that day.

Working at one of the nation’s leading teaching hospitals means there are certain extra requirements expected of the staff, one of these being helping out other hospitals from time to time. It’s usually a simple affair, as simple as surgery can be. Arrive, do the surgery, get back on a flight to Seattle. Unless of course they never make it there. Unless their plane crashes. Stranded somewhere in the wilderness that surrounds Spokane and all of the passengers injured in some way, there’s only so much the doctors can do. They have to wait. WAIT. Somebody will realise that they’re not in Boise, they’ll phone the hospital and the search will begin. They’ll be safe, they just have to wait. And maybe that would be the case if, meanwhile in Seattle, the hospital wasn’t indidated with patients. An office building in West Seattle collapsed twenty minutes before the plane went down, the ER is packed and ORs in a constant rotation between injured employees and firefighters. With almost the entire staff on call and too distracted to pick up phones or question where their colleagues might be, the waiting might be longer than they first anticipated.
When the chaos of the emergency has calmed down, only then is it clear that no plane from Seattle ever landed in Boise. The legal team are thrown into a FRENZY, the Chief of Staff and the Chief of Surgery must explain to the board what exactly has happened, how they could let it go unnoticed for so long, and - most importantly - what they’re doing to find the MISSING SURGEONS. It’s been close to twenty-four hours, they’ll need to act fast if they have a hope of their colleagues coming back alive.
OOC INFO: It’s finally here! After weeks of planning, we are happy (or maybe not so happy?) to announce that the plane crash will be taking place Monday 14th of December (4PM EST)  - Sunday 20th of December (4PM EST). This event will be split into two parts, with Monday to Thursday seeing the plane crash victims stranded and injured while those remaining at Seattle Grace Mercy West deal with the buildings collapse and moving along to the aftermath of the crash when the survivors have been found Friday through to Sunday. Plotting may now officially begin, the admins have created a discord for the muns who will be involved with the crash - you will be receiving your invite shortly! Underneath the cut you’ll find not only injuries from the crash, but also how your muse at the hospital has been delegated. If your character is not on the list you may still participate in the event, they just haven’t been delegated to a surgery and may be in the pit or with routine patients!
Cormac Hayes has woken up on the forest floor, he can’t remember how he got there. And he might be more concerned about that fact if not for the agonising pain that shoots through his hand every time he tried to move it. It doesn’t feel like a sprain or a broken bone, it feels like nerve damage.
When Elena Sloan finally came to, she didn’t immediately realise what was wrong with her, or why she could no longer feel her arm. It was only when she turned her head to inspect it that she realised that she’d passed out from the pain of being crushed underneath a part of the plane’s wing.
It might seem as though Derek Shepherd has gotten off lightly. Some scratches, minor burns and he’s guessing that he has a mild concussion from the pounding in his head. What he doesn’t realise yet, with the adrenaline coursing through his veins, is that he’s exhibiting early signs of PTSD.
AJ Murphy finds himself in a pretty similar boat, the only external injuries being scratches and burns. However, considering he’s floating in and out of consciousness his concussion might be more severe than Shepherd’s.
Mia Porter has been staring at her leg since the moment she regained consciousness. More accurately she’s staring at the femur that has broken and punctured through the skin. She has an open fracture and is sitting on a dirty forest floor, there’s only so much time before infection becomes an issue.
Outwardly, there seems to be very little wrong with Ximena Avery, and perhaps the dizziness or sudden headache can all be attributed to the stress of the crash. However, the numbness on the left side of her body? The growing pain in her abdomen? It seems likely to be an internal injury.
The crash has left Cat Blake with a large cut on her arm which might not be so concerning, especially considering the more severe injuries surrounding her, if it wasn’t for the debris that had gathered in the wound while she was unconscious.
When she’d first regained consciousness and realised that the plane crashing hadn’t been a vivid nightmare, Leah Murphy did a quick assessment of herself. She’d thought she was fine all things considered, until she’d tried to stand and her broken fibula had caused her knees to buckle and her body to crash to the ground again.
Waking up initially still trapped inside the plane had been enough to distract Nico Kim from the searing pain on the right side of his body, but once he was safely out of the aircraft the agony of his broken ribs and fractured ulna had taken full effect.

Levi entered the hospital room, ready to perform surgery with the athletic band on his glasses so they didn’t fall off and his hair back in that stupid little hat thing. “Hi, I’m Levi Schmitt, I’m going to be one of the people removing your appendix today, okay? Is there anything you have questions about before the procedure,” he asked, walking closer to her bed and looking over some stuff on a clipboard. “It looks like you came at the right time, your charts show your appendix is inflamed.”

Levi Schmitt (Muse)
Tumblr media
Sexual Orientation: Gay
Gender: Cis Man
Levi is a soon graduating medical student and a surgical intern who is, in his opinion, a total fucking loser. Thanks to medical school being even worse than normal college he’s living in his mother’s basement due to student loans and the high cost of living in his city. Despite being referred to to as Glasses by his co-workers and fellow surgical interns due to an unfortunate accident where his glasses fell into the open cavity of a person during a surgery, he is not a fan of the nickname and feels imense pride and respect for people who call him Dr. Schmitt instead. He treats the other interns as siblings and they do the same towards him, making him the butt of a couple of jokes but never meaning harm by it.
He is a rather nervous person but is slowly working on his confidence, being more open about his interests. He has always been a bright guy and is currently in the top 10% of his medical school program while still making time for his hobbies such as DMing a little D&D group and doing a fair bit of gaming online, being a proficient League of Legends and World of Warcraft player and a better than average Overwatch and PUBG player. Levi gets flustered really easily and is prone to staring at guys he finds attractive. Despite his nerves, he does handle himself very professionally when dealing with patients.
(fc is Jake Borelli)
