There was a familiar ache in where his arm used to be. Phantom pains was something he was used too. What he wasn't used too was showing any sign of discomfort in front of others; especially those who are fighting on the same side. The young woman's question shouldn't be surprising but explaining anything about himself was it's own trial.

Bucky glanced down at the singer and wondered what the best answer was without being awkward about it. The Winter Soldier gave a nonchalant shrug. “ Long story. The list is pretty long.” He replied. “ Don't worry about me. Focus on the mission, kid.”

Maybe that was a bit too harsh of a response bit it should get the point across about focusing on the current task at hand, which took priority than his slight discomfort of phantom pains.

Tired and heavily injured, he collapsed in an abandoned building that he came across. Breathing hurt. The beam that had fallen on him must have broken some ribs. Unconsciousness loomed near, but there was no way he could stay. Getting far away from the area took priority. But taking a moment to gather his strength should be fine. As long as he didn't stay long.

Eyes closed, he let his breathing even out and his heart rate started to decrease. Here it was quiet and peaceful and calm. For a few moments he could let his mind float. Let himself forget. His mind wanted to turn back to thoughts of blonde hair and blue eyes and a little guy... Letting out a frustrated yell he pounded his fist against the ground. With each strike repeating to himself: забывать, забывать, забывать (forget, forget, forget).

The pain grounded him and he grew calm again. Everything was fine until he heard the sound of feet behind him, and when he turned there he was. There they were. That strange man and his friend had caught up to him. Fingers curled into fists with rage. He didn't understand why that man was so relentless in his hunt for him. He didn't understand why that man looked at him with those eyes. What was it that made him look at him like that. And most of all, he didn't understand why he called him by that strange name. Bucky. It pissed him off.

From the way he fought it was clear he was hurting. There was no power behind his punches, and he wasn’t moving as fast as he could. It was clear that they were just as exhausted and hurt as he was, but they were determined, especially the blue-eyed man. Their attacks were coordinated and it didn’t take long before they overpowered him. One good punch from the Captain America and he was out. When he woke up they had secured him using his metal arm which was cinched between the jaws of some machine. "We'll be back with help,” he had been told.

That was...he didn't know how long ago.

He had struggled against the machine. Trying to free himself from it, but it was no use. Instead, he rested. Allowing himself to float in and out of consciousness. Until, he heard the sound of someone shuffling outside of the room he was in. Expecting to see the man, his muscles tensed and he glared at the doorway. Not that he was in any better condition to fight than he was earlier, but he would still give them hell.
