Sam hated the idea of leaving Jackie with his parents for the night, it wasn't that he didn't trust them, but rather he enjoyed their night routine and had only spent a few nights without her since she was born, but it was just for one night and his mother had said she would phone at bed time so he could say goodnight to his child.
He'd gotten to the school early in the afternoon to help set up, they weren't sure how many of his former classmates would actually show up, but they'd prepared for a full house. As it became time for people to start showing up, Samuel went out to lean on his truck to have a smoke, he couldn't help but wonder how everyone had turned out, he was one of the only ones to stay in the area, did he envy them?
His thought was cut off as an old familiar feeling traced across his skin, he hadn't felt that in years. Glancing around he spotted the source, he couldn't help but tip his hat to the familiar man, "hey there."

Sam certainly hadn't expected honesty regarding the others' sexual experiences, too used to men lying and talking up their game, it was, refreshing. "That's kind'a hot though, I'd kill to have had a group of guys to mess with in school." He didn't want Gareth to feel as though he was judging him, he wasn't in the slightest. "If you ever want to explore more, I'm more than happy to be used~" he said with a smirk as he softly rubbed at the other's ear.
he'll briefly lift his head up at the mention of his ex having a huge dick before he immediately lays his head back down. he wasn't going to worry about it! he wasn't going to worry about samuel's past. especially since he probably doesn't look so good right now, considering this all started with him trying to catch a jackalope and he decided to go back to his hotel room. he isn't necessarily looking like a shining star by acting on a whim, isn't he? "---...i like both. i don't really have a preference," it came out more monotone than he expected, causing him to back pedal. "---....i'm still trying to figure it out. haven't been with a lot of dudes," words trail off, his face turning pink.
"---....uh, my friends. my friends are like me. in the band. we don't really talk about it much, though. just mostly stuff we talk about whenever we're real high. i've only ever, uh---...fooled around with them. i know, it's kind of lame,"

People I’d like to Know Better
one / NAME / ALIAS. Darrell/Deuce, Bear, D, Zhauric/Aragos (Gaming wise),
– two / BIRTHDAY. May 29th
– three / ZODIAC SIGN. Gemini
– four / HEIGHT. 5′10"
– five / HOBBIES. Writing, video games, reading, lifting weights, martial arts, boxing
– six / FAVORITE COLORS. Black and Red
– seven / FAVORITE BOOKS. Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson, The Expanse series by James S.A. Corey, Poor Man’s Fight series by Elliott Kay, Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews, The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher
– eight / LAST SONG LISTENED TO. Talk by Khalid
youtube
– nine / LAST FILM WATCHED. Unbreakable with Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson
– ten / INSPIRATION FOR MUSE. Decided to try something different with Kaelivh and went the private detective route. There are some figures of inspiration in the fictional world like Takeshi Kovacs in the Altered Carbon books by Richard k. Morgan, Spenser and Hawk from the Spenser novels by Robert B. Parker (RIP) and that is pretty much it in his regards. Some other bits from previous characters like one I had in Guild Wars 2 I never got the chance to flesh out.
Asande’s main inspiration came from Isabela from Dragon Age 2 (and Origins for a small bit). I found the character interesting and having more layers to her than truly presented. I quite enjoy multi-dimensional characters that have more to them than they present to you which is similar for Kael and Asande both. I would also say Viridiana Sovari from the Night Angel series by Brent Weeks (who was a pretty chill dude when I met him) was somewhat an inspiration since it was a character I enjoyed reading in that series though she wasn’t the main.
The twin concept was me just wanting to try the challenge of a female character in RP and thinking it would be a cool concept after discussing something similar with a past RP partner. Hard to find those you can do these things with so I said fuck it and did it myself.
– eleven / DREAM JOB. To have my own stories published one day. Only have had some poems published at this point. If I would stop being my biggest roadblock then I would be working on this direction already *smiles*
– twelve / MEANING BEHIND YOUR URL. Was the name of the character I originally had on FFXIV and one I go by in other games previously.

"I don't think I've ever been to a playground, at least I don't remember one," he had of course been taken to them when he was very small, but Samuel had almost no memories of his life before the fire.
"What's that game you play with your friends? Eleven told me you do something with dice and fight monsters?" He questioned after a few moments of thinking, he wanted to know more about Mike.
┊ ┊ ┊ ┊ ♥︎ . *. ⋆ HE CRINGES IN RESPONSE TO THAT; something about that moment somehow managed to worm its way into his memory when it happened, the way it felt to get such a mark. he had to agree with sam; there was NOTHING fun about the feeling of getting cut by something sharp.
he has to squint to see it from the shade projected on sam's bare side from his lifted shirt, but it's definitely there, and he WINCES at the way sam describes how it happened to him. ❝ i think something like that happened to me when i was a kid. on the playground. ❞

College life was certainly not what Samuel was used to, but he continued to keep to himself as best he could, though he did enjoy that he could help out in the theatre, being able to work on some construction felt a little more, at home.
He backstage late to try and repair the half assed propwork that had been done that day, everyone had been too distracted by the media circus, god he hated the news, he didn't fully know what was going on but he sure felt sorry for that Sidney girl.
He was happily whistling along to a cassette he'd put in the boombox as he was alone. Sam had been in the middle of repainting a set piece when he heard the doors click open, "just me in here professor!" He called out without turning to see who it was, assuming only the theatre professor would come in this late.

The best available players after Round 1 of the 2020 NFL Draft
Photograph by Ken Murray/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images
Houston offensive tackle Josh Jones highlights the best players for the second round on Friday.
In the end, after several twists, turns and false rumors, the beginning of the 2020 NFL Draft went as usual. And that goes beyond Joe Burrow going first and Chase Young going second. The Lions took cornerback Jeff Okudah at No. 3. The Giants took an offensive tackle. Tua Tagovailoa went to the Dolphins like most expected until people started assuming they would take Justin Herbert. The Chargers wisely took the best quarterback that fell to them in Herbert.
But not everything went according to plan. The wide receivers came off the board in an order few expected. Same for the offensive tackles. The first round was also filled with some stunners, like the Green Bay Packers moving up for quarterback Jordan Love or the Seattle Seahawks holding at No. 27 and taking linebacker Jordyn Brooks.
Those unexpected picks meant some big names fell out of the first round. Here are the best players available at the start of the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, based on SB Nation’s top 100 players and then some:

@realmofthedragon
As the legs were wrapped around him, he lost some of his range of motion and thus the thrusts became quicker to make up for it, thrusting deep and hard. "Fuck, you're so," he panted against his neck as he peppered his skin with kisses, pressing his body down onto Steve's cock to give him some friction. "So beautiful."
Steve tilted his head back. Small moans left his throat as the man continued to pound into him. Never had he been touched this way. Never had he been on the receiving end, but every time he hit in deep, it sent a different type of pleasure through him. Nothing he even felt before.
He wrapped his legs around the older man's waist, pulling him closer, wanting him in deep and not wanting him to stop. His own cock hard and straining inbetween, his balls aching for their own release.

Micah and Charming Reagan
I've heard it said that once there was once an old small house that stood in the middle of a deep gloomy Oblivion, and in the small house lived Charming Reagan. Reagan lived with Discerning the Spirit of 1776 and Well-behaved Kamryn. Guarded Ryan, Incisive Jaffar, Samuel the Friendly, Elliott the Brilliant, Dakota the Affectionate, Provocative PeeWee Herman, Weak James, and Plain-speaking Nicholas were friends of Reagan. Incisive Jaffar unexpectedly died, leaving Reagan devastated. It was done. There was much wailing in Oblivion. "Right?" ejected Charming Reagan. Micah, a unhelpful dog, paid a visit to Oblivion. Unhelpful Micah suggested that the Spirit of 1776 and Well-behaved Kamryn could be forced into a marriage of convenience. Well-behaved Kamryn, a friend of Reagan, needed a bride, a friend, or just somebody to talk to. Reagan met Childlike Quinn. "Salutations! Childlike Quinn" exclaimed Charming Reagan. "Gods be with you Charming Reagan" volleyed Childlike Quinn. "Well, you certainly are dramatic," mused Charming Reagan. "Yes, I am," conceded Childlike Quinn. "But it's been said that I'm also childlike!" "Here," said Childlike Quinn, "you'll need this," and gave Charming Reagan the pair of Air Jordans. "What's this?" asked Reagan. "What does it look like?" replied Quinn. "It's a special, magical pair of Air Jordans. Perhaps you can use it in your struggle with Micah." "I have a tale for you," said Quinn, "The romance of Reagan and her adventures:" Dog siezed Reagan, placed her in a barrel, and flung the barrel into a local lake. Unfortunately, Charming Reagan had a considerable attachment to breathing. When G-d calls one home, there is never room for argument. "And now," concluded Childlike Quinn, "my tale is done." Reagan was a bit taken aback by the tale. The problems experienced by Kamryn, who needed a bride, a friend, or just somebody to talk to, were resolved by Charming Reagan. Reagan arrived in Oblivion but was unrecognized. Reagan was recognized. Dated for a few years, but decided to remain single, Reagan retired to pine for days of adventure. Years passed, but Reagan still mourned the stinging loss of Jaffar. After that she lived long and happily, survived to a great age, and then died peacefully.

Our guide to plays and musicals coming to New York stages and a few last-chance picks of shows that are about to close. Our reviews of open shows are at nytimes.com/reviews/theater.
Previews & Openings
‘ALL THE NATALIE PORTMANS’ at the Robert W. Wilson MCC Theater Space (previews start on Feb. 6; opens on Feb. 24). May the Padmé Amidala be with you. In C.A. Johnson’s magical realist play, a young queer woman, Keyonna, leads an active fantasy life with her muse, Natalie Portman. Then reality impinges. Kate Whoriskey directs; Kara Young stars as Keyonna, with Joshua Boone as her brother Samuel and Elise Kibler as Natalie. 212-727-7722, mcctheater.org
‘ANATOMY OF A SUICIDE’ at the Atlantic Theater Company at the Linda Gross Theater (previews start on Feb. 1; opens on Feb. 18). Alice Birch (“Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again.”) wants to know if trauma can be inherited. In this triptych, which won the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, she organizes a grandmother, a mother and a daughter in conjoined stories across seven decades or so. Lileana Blain-Cruz directs a cast that includes Carla Gugino, Celeste Arias and Gabby Beans. 866-811-4111, atlantictheater.org
‘BLUES FOR AN ALABAMA SKY’ at Theater Row (previews start on Feb. 4; opens on Feb. 18). ‘GIRL FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY’ at the Belasco Theater (previews start on Feb. 7; opens on March 5). This Bob Dylan jukebox musical, written and directed by Conor McPherson, now knocks on Broadway’s door. Set in a boardinghouse in Duluth, Minn., in 1934, it centers on various down-at-heart, down-at-heel residents. ‘HAMLET’ at St. Ann’s Warehouse (previews start on Feb. 1; opens on Feb. 10). Hamlet’s inky cloak? Ruth Negga is wearing it now. The Ethiopian-Irish actress plays the prince in Yaël Farber’s production of Shakespeare’s tragedy. “It nearly killed me,” she told The New York Times, describing an earlier run. Guess there’s nothing like a Dane. With Aoife Duffin as Ophelia. 718-254-8779, stannswarehouse.org
‘STEW’ at Walkerspace (in previews; opens on Feb. 1). Page 73 cooks up another debut. In this tragedy from Zora Howard, a Harlem-based playwright, three generations of African-American women meet for a home-cooked meal and a painful revelation. Colette Robert directs a cast that includes Portia, Kristin Dodson, Toni Lachelle Pollitt and Nikkole Salter. page73.org
‘WE’RE GONNA DIE’ at the Tony Kiser Theater at Second Stage Theater (previews start on Feb. 4; opens on Feb. 25). Young Jean Lee’s autobiographical rock almost-musical, written as part of her work with the playwrights’ collective 13P, has a new lease on life. Backed by a five-piece band, Janelle McDermoth discourses on life, death and the arguable usefulness of art. Raja Feather Kelly directs. 212-246-4422, 2st.com
Last Chance
THE BIG APPLE CIRCUS at Damrosch Park (closes on Feb. 2). This popular local circus folds its big tent. The current iteration is sometimes racier than usual, but who can’t help enjoying the Lopez Troupe riding bicycles on a high wire or Jayson Dominguez surviving the Wheel of Death? The real stars: the magnificent Savitsky Cats, balls of fluff with acrobatic chops. 212-257-2330, bigapplecircus.com
‘TIMON OF ATHENS’ at the Polonsky Shakespeare Center (closes on Feb. 9). Fashioned for this age of inequality, Simon Godwin’s adaptation of Shakespeare’s (and Thomas Middleton’s) vexed semitragedy ends its run. Starring Kathryn Hunter as a plutocrat who goes broke, the production adds in fragments from other Shakespeare plays, plus a sonnet. Jesse Green called it an “energetic and somewhat Frankensteined revival.” 866-811-4111, tfana.org

Sam watched her, eyes still scanning for injuries despite her insistence that she wasn't wounded. At mention of not letting 'them' in he gave her a puzzled look, clearly whatever was going on had her not only upset, but covered in blood and wielding a weapon. "Okay, I ain't too sure what's going on, or how you even got in, my place is safe."
He turned back to the door, moving the little curtain on the narrow window beside the door to peak out, "well whoever they are, they didn't follow you." He gestured down the hallway, "bathroom's the second door down, go clean yourself up and I'll check my security system okay?" Sam grabbed his hat and keys, not giving her a chance to respond before he opened the door, tough he paused, grabbing a rifle he kept by the door and going out, "door auto locks, camera monitor in living room," he said before the door closed behind him, the lock clicking into place.
He was gone for almost fifteen minutes, in his defence he wanted to check the fences all the way around, it was lined with cameras that covered the fence and outside, but not showing more than a foot into the grounds, his way of keeping his creatures protected. As he came back in he spoke out, "all clear, can you tell me what's goin' on?" He said as he made his way back to the living room, instantly going back to the radio and trying his parents truck again.
As soon as the door opened, Saskia raced inside and promptly collapsed against the door, completely breathless. It took her a while to respond to the question as she caught her breath, her lungs feeling as if they were on fire.
After a few minutes of catching her breath, she looked up at him. "Physically; I think I'm fine. Emotionally; I'm gonna need so much therapy," she joked, knowing it wasn't the time to make jokes but it was the only way she could really cope with what was going on, what she'd witnessed. "We're gonna need to block the windows and doors, they can't get in."
Saskia hoped he would understand what she meant by "they can't get in" because honestly, she wasn't sure she had it in her to explain who or what exactly they were. Hell, she didn't even really know how to explain anything, all she understood was that they were fast and she needed to find a proper weapon to defend herself, not just a table leg.

open to anyone || plot: out in the countryside when a storm hits
There was a sudden strong gust of wind as Samuel was out for a walk, it knocked his hat off as he shielded his eyes with his hand from the dirt that got kicked up. "Wha' the fuck?" It took him a few moments to glance around, there was only one person nearby, "hey, hey! He called out before jogging over to them, "did you feel that?" He questioned, looking around anxiously, something felt off, "the air feels heavy," he mumbled.

Gentle Tatum and the defeat of Plain Dylan
Once there was, and there wasn't, in the distant province of Lithuania, Tatum lived in a grass hut close to Vyshny Volochyok. Tatum lived with James the Methodical, Alexis the Confused, Justice the Vulnerable, Andrew the Ridiculous, Imperturbable Elliott, and Drugged Samuel. Amazing Taylor, James the Reliable, PeeWee Herman the Disagreeable, Provocative Michael, Reagan the Flashy, Distraught Matthew, Skylar the Mean, Subtle River, Nicholas the Thinking, Inconsiderate Sidney, and Tyler the Irascible were friends of Tatum. Plain Dylan, a tense jackal, paid a visit to Vyshny Volochyok. Dylan mused that James the Methodical, Alexis, Justice, Andrew the Ridiculous, Elliott, and Drugged Samuel could be forced into a marriage of convenience. Tatum came across Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. "God be with you Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man" exclaimed Gentle Tatum. "Ahoy! Gentle Tatum" responded Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. "Well, you certainly are clever," mused Gentle Tatum. "Yes, I am," conceded Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. "But it's been said that I'm also great!" "Here," said Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man the Great, "you'll need this," and gave Gentle Tatum the Magic Accordion. "What's this?" asked Gentle Tatum. "What does it look like?" replied Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. "It's a special, magical Magic Accordion. Perhaps you can use it in your struggle with Plain Dylan." "Thanks!" said a thankful Tatum gratefully. "Well, look who this is: Plain Dylan" ejected Tatum. "Oh, hello, Tatum" retorted Plain Dylan. "Well, you certainly are tense," muttered Tatum. "Yes, I am," conceded Plain Dylan. "But it's been said that I'm also plain!" Tatum deployed the Magic Accordion to trounce Plain Dylan. Such behavior could not be tolerated: Gentle Tatum fell upon Plain Dylan, bound her with ropes. So Tatum cut her into small pieces, which were buried throughout the woods. Tatum settled down and became filled with knowledge. After that he lived long and happily, survived to a great age, and then died peacefully.

Text
There was certainly something familiar about this woman, but in his ancient life he had met so many people that everything blurred together, he made a habit of trying not to remember people, not get attached. "If you work at a night market then possibly, I work nights, like 3am type nights, so I sleep most days, so if the markets are after sunset then perhaps." He was making an effort not to look at her face, something about her face was making his brain think back on the past and he didn't like that.
The witch breathed a sharp hum. "Maybe." Shifting slightly on the bench, she crossed her right leg over her left, adopting more poise. "I do travel around. I uh, I own a stall..." Her tone inflected, she thought maybe the man would start to form some links. "Might've seen me at market's and the like?"
Clasping her obsidian pendant, she raised an eyebrow. "Into crystals?" With a chuckle, she beamed at him, though still somewhat hesitant of the stranger. "That's what I sell." A snippet into her identity, Radiance was reluctant to divulge any further.
