Eddie hasn't seen Gator Tillman in close to three years. When he winds up running into him at a bar, he can't help but feel drawn to help the ex-deputy.

I'm not sure if they're looking to kick you around or y'know…literally tear you apart-," To Eddie it was almost too much to be stood so close. Gator's winter layers might've been hiding it while they were sat at the counter, but it was inescapable while pressed up against one another. Eddie actually felt drool pool in his mouth before he gave himself a little shake to focus on the meatheads trying to surround him. "What the hell do you mean by that?" Gator sounded worried all of a sudden. Good timing, Eddie couldn't help but think. That realization could've saved them earlier if the ex-deputy had simply never entered the bar in the first place. "You smell like you're in heat, Tillman. You probably pulled a whole crowd in just by sitting here."
