I'm absolutely surprised I do not have an image of my sona with a heart so Zhen will have to do it. Especially given his ‘job’

The start of the year for me has been rough. The folks who know my situation know my words are a severe understatement but I can’t let that hold me down. But it has made it abundantly clear that I am loved. 

Loved.

I genuinely have folks who love me for who am I. 

I couldn't ask for any more words than that today.

I am loved for what I am and what I do and that's all I could ever ask for. And I love myself for it.

So today, lets give out a little bit of love to some folk today.

I love how you are incredibly indecisive about reblogging some things on your side account. Something that means a lot to a character that someone may get a free hint on. I mean hell I used to do that all the time in my younger days to keep them on my brain to stay a little consistent on it. But man, I'm sure you've been hearing a lot from other people and honestly I'll be one of them hollering in the back about how we love Rio.

I always wonder if you be like “THERE GOES THIS GIRL AGAIN ASKING FOR HER DANG LUGIAS TO BE DRAWN AGAIN.” I can't help myself. You're too damn good at your craft and your attention to detail on beasties, dragons and animals alike. It's praiseworthy so I hope you always treat yourself kindly when it comes to what you do. Also, you seem to be doing better in the anxiety department, or I hope so. It's been a pleasure to see you be more interactive as of late with others so I hope you have been able to adequately spread your wings in that environment and get better.

MAN I SURELY DO MISS YOU RIGHT. I HAVE SO MANY BRAINWORMS ABOUT YAKO AND ROSHI FIGHTING AND TEA TIME WITH ROSHI. Then I remember you're literally a DM away and my ass is just straight-up forgetful. I remember you chatted away about your Ninetales lore and goddamn I was eating it up. It FUELED ME to be so motivated with my characters, you have no idea. And coupled with your old ask blogs, I am so glad we started to chat last year and I am always grateful you send me images of stuff I can relate with on my characters.

I mean there are a lot of words I want to say. Overall it is always overwhelmingly positive. We were both there for each other in a horrible mental down. While mines is a bit still ongoing, you still have been sending me kind words and images to make the day all the more bearable. You noticed I have been withdrawn lately and you consider that when talking with me. 

Communication. It's something I always prized and I really appreciate it when we have chatting. Thank you so much for being the person you are and helping me. It has meant a lot to me.

Simy I know we only really talked in depth once or twice but it was an absolute BLAST talking to you!! You have such cool ideas and you're so creative! I thought you were so sweet and it was fun to bounce off of you and it really made me excited about what we might do!

Eerie is an absolutely fascinating character, too. I think it's clear how much love and effort you put into them, and how much respect and work you put into showcasing their culture and how important it is to them! I love seeing the pieces of it throughout her story and little moments and how it's handled. It is also beyond hard to write a nuanced character, especially one that is not known for kindness to many because some people will not be able to handle the coarseness-- but you stay true to your vision for Eerie, and allow them to be traumatized and hurt and to struggle with things that make it difficult to connect to others easily, and i think that's amazing. I love Eerie as a character and I love watching them do their best, and I will enjoy seeing those changes over time as they connect to others and their experiences have an effect. I think you write them so wonderfully, and I really do love them!

I'm so excited for the chance for the muses to meet too! Whatever comes of it, I hope it'll be fun, and I hope we can keep interacting! And your art is just chef's kiss-- the design elements you incorporate in so many pieces are rad as all get out! I love seeing your art on my dash and just staring at it haha. You're amazing and I'm glad to vibe on the dash with you and do more in the future :3 !!!!

(Oh I absolutely do! I'm very much a "I don't care, fuck it," type person, which can be good or bad. I've learned that if the situation is out of my control, then there is no sense worrying. I have no regrets about any decision I make, and I definitely tend to hide a lot behind a smile and positive demeanor.)

There is something I don't really talk about and it's OCs

I adore OCs and I appreciate all the OCs all around, I adore the dedication and the hard work every single one of you has put onto them, to make them exist and to make them as unique as you are.

I do have my own OC but I don't really rp as him now a days, I miss him and maybe one day I'll bring him back, who knows? I rped as him for close to 16 years and I had a lot of fun with him. I simply don't have time to do much rp wise now a days and Kurt has always been my main muse anyway.

Keep up with the hard work you guys, I thank you all for your OCs and for allowing me to interact with them. They're awesome, precious and they're yours!

】 - Do you have anything in life you are particularly garetful for?

Positivity Munday meme - No Longer Accepting!

This is going to sound predictable/cheesy, but I'm going to say my parents. Yes, they've been able to provide a lot of opportunities for me, but I want to say I'm grateful for one thing in particular:

They have invested well, never have lived outside of their means, and saved well for retirement to include any and all in-house help they may need in their more infirm/frail years, including taking out substantial life insurance policies, writing their wills, and making very clear and specific financial trusts.

The older I get, the more I hear of friends whose parents decline rapidly or lose one or both parents and are just stuck with so much to deal with: how to afford a retirement home and/or specialized care they need (some friends have had to take part time or quit their jobs entirely to care for their aging parents), how to organize end of life decisions, how to deal with paying off debts and/or taxes on various inheritances/bequests, and that doesn't even begin to factor in the emotional toll taken on the members of the family left behind.

My parents have thought of pretty much every little thing that I will likely face as they decline and after they die, with specific instructions on how to handle everything and where everything goes. I am so grateful for that, knowing that I will not have to wonder how I'll take care of them and what to do with all of the stuff that's left to handle after they pass.

That said, my advice to my dash: if you have living parents or guardians and you have not talked to them about what will happen if, or more aptly when, they decline and pass on, the earlier you can begin making plans, the better. I keep seeing too many stories of friends who are emotionally and financially bankrupt trying to take care of their aging parents, who will likely never recover from it all, or take many years to finally begin to mend. It's not the most pleasant thing to think about, but there's only two guarantees in life: death and taxes.

Knowing how to do taxes or hiring someone you trust to do them for you is also good life advice

Hina.

Hina has her own cult and it's all thanks to me and @kemikorosu who worship her relentlessly. There are seemingly not enough words in the known dictionary that captures seemingly how much I adore Hina. I think that if Roleplaying were an art, that was Universally recognized across the world- and was an art that one could perfect and master- Hina would be recognized as one of the very few people in the world that is a master of that craft. If you know what meme I'm referencing, good on you- but if not- allow me to ramble a little more.

Hina knows romance. Hina lives and breathes romance. Hina knows what makes romances in fiction feel real and developed. When Hina writes, the fictional characters she portrays channel themselves into her. Hina can write any character in the world if she really wanted too, and she'd do it masterfully- because somehow fictional characters channel themselves into Hina. And that shows in how masterful her writing is.

Hina made Eden/Trailblazer/Stelle a WEEK OR TWO AGO- (when I said made, I mean- had enough to finally start writing) and I MADE HINA (at her behest) a NEW DOCTOR JUST FOR EDEN TO HANG OUT WITH. Only someone who I trust enough to give me a good dynamic and good interactions could compel me into doing that-- and HINA?? HINA'S GOOD. VERY GOOD.

Watch out RPC. LUNAETIS IS HERE. AND SHE WANTS THE SMOKE. HER CONTENT IS AMAZING AND I WILL LIVE AND BREATHE THIS CLAIM UNTIL I AM DEAD ON THIS HILL.

I think you’re just a really fun person to interact with, and I love knowing you. I think Candi is super fun and silly and I love seeing her on the dashboard in threads or in little dashboard commentaries and stuff! Some of it makes me go ‘oh no’ but it’s in that fun way you do when reading a character who does stuff that’s mortifying—and I can’t deny it makes me laugh when I see you dying in the tags for it xD. Commitment!!

I still can’t wait to see what we talked about with her and Artair come to fruition! Someone help this poor girl with her curse and get some self-defense lessons! But you always have a way with muses that makes me love them, and how much creativity and thought you put into them. I’m super happy I know you and get to talk and plot with you, and we can create stories together. But more than that, I’m glad I have you in my life! 💛
