alright, listen. i need to find someone very important to me, and i have a feeling you know what's been going on around here. byul-- the luxray that came through here... he's part of my family, and i need to make sure he's okay before something bad happens to him.

i don't care who you are. you humans agreed not to interfere with our customs. we will deal with this our own way.

you don't understand...! byul isn't like other luxray, he has this... power that he can't control, and if it gets too much for him, he's going to hurt everyone around him, including himself. if i can get him back in his pokeball, i might be able to contain him.

[koa snarls, baring their teeth. jinyoung flinches, but stands his ground.]

you humans are so ignorant. that 'power' originates here in the first place, and the luxray who were born here know more about it than you do. they will know how to handle it; you are not needed.

[jinyoung jogs over to the trial site's entrance, lin and chico on his heels. mina nervously glances back at the stern-looking hakamo-o behind her.]

um... well, i've been trying to get koa to let us through all morning, and he won't budge. i think something's going on past the cave that's really important to the pokemon there.

what? that must have something to do with byul, then!

byul? oh, you're little rascal. he must be in biiig trouble if he's what's causing all this.

uh, f-forget i said anything, mina. but it's really important that i get to the altar of the sunne.

ooookay. you're gonna have to convince this guy first, though.

[though it probably isn't the exact location, jinyoung can't help but be reminded of when he first caught byul as a shinx. if only he had known how important it would be for byul to have grown up here, where he most likely belongs.]

h-hey! it looks like some trainers have spotted some strange murals on the cliff walls at poni canyon earlier today, and some paw prints tracked in the paint. d-do you think some pokemon made these?

hmm... if that's the case, then i wonder if even the pokemon know something's going to happen with byul here...

ahh i guess i can answer this publicly! i'm currently not interested in joining any discord servers (especially big servers) unless someone i know personally invites me, and even then i would still have to consider it ;; i'm just not really a chatty person in general, and i'm already in quite a few servers so i'd like to be able to manage them all comfortably!
