Context to the curious; Here's my idiot Yu Yu Hakusho OC Reiwa \o/ (I have other doodles but they're too old and I am eugch old old work)

Long story short, he's Genkai and Toguro's biological son - a 'half-breed' only due to his conception being the days around their Dark Tournament. His father's wish to become a demon affected him retroactively thus making him a very unnatural-natural demon. Also in pair due to Genkai's spiritual power he's basically 'an S rank demon born in the human world' which isn't a good thing. The earrings he has are limiters for that ability once he started maturing growing up, his mother didn't have much choice but to try and raise him to understand that he's not like other humans - one of these traits being aging far slower to the point that 50 years later he's now known as Genkai's 'grandson' instead. Reiwa's a genuinely good person, raised well, but only knew the stories his mother would tell him of the person his father was, and In the DT this comes to a full conflict between them which ends with Reiwa being a 'disappointment' as he's spent his life training his demon energy to heal not harm. Also the only thing keeping him 'human' is his mortal heart. There's a point where it's taken out and he's fully a reality warping S rank that's really only brought down with Sacred Energy. It's an entire thing long story. Basically with his inclusion lets the narrative rating be a bit more punchy cause he can fix things up :)c He's not actively involved in fights as he's mostly a pacifist and will just train the cast in some way with defense over aggression. He can and will 1-0 them in training though just to prove a point he's fun.

He's as tall as his dad btw, which is really funny in context to his mom.

Oh also he kisses Yukina and Kuwabara and they're all cute and happy I love them very much. ((In the context of him being '50' he's not like. a 50y old man. its a demon thing. weird age years vs actual development - ITS COMPLICATED))

Lately, I've only had the mental capacity to do like short-ish things which is why I've been doing inbox shit. I know it's partially due to the disorganization of this blog & feeling that it's in chaos, but I'm workin' on that too. I don't have any intention of moving blogs or culling followers, but I do feel like I've been stretching myself thin as of late.

However, I am trying to move towards the goal of organizing threads that have turned into memes, so I can build a more cohesive story with everyone that I'm writing with. I'll probably end up dropping a few rogue threads/pairing down to do that. But communication to me is really important & I'll gladly talk to people & we can decide about things together. & This goes the other way too, if you're not feeling something; tell me! I'll reach out to people about this at some point or another, but for now; inbox time.

I've also been trying hard to find a balance between things I want to do IRL and writing here. I want to start studying Japanese regularly again, organizing around the house & getting my budget in order. I also need to meal prep work hard on that dad-bod, ya know?
