I could not wait another weekend so I drove to @ups at Schiphol Airport to pickup this box. In here is the @bambulab_official X1 Carbon with AMS (Automatic Material System). It is a crazy cool 3D printer with some insane features so make sure to check back a couple of times this weekend. 1740 Tool Changes and nearly 4 days printing but my Formula 1 Pole Position Award Zandvoort 2021 is finished. It looks very beautiful and I'm super happy with the result. This Pyramid Flow model is already very nice. The one on the left is printed using the standard hotend on the Ender3 V2 and looks ok. The one on the right is painted in PrusaSlicer and printed on the same printer using the all metal @swiss3dc Starlex Quick Change Mechanism hotend and the @stellamove PITTA. All printed in @plasticznetherlands PLA. The one on the right clearly is the winner here. Well at least I tried. 😂 I'm printing the cool Jabba's Palace (or Boba Fett's) by @miniworld3d and it had a nice surprise. It came with a tiny Slave I ship and I tried to give it some color. I painted it in PrusaSlicer using 4 colors and printed it on the Prusa i3 MK3S + and MMU2S by @josefprusa. I used a 0.4mm layer and printed in 0.15mm layers.
