currently reading: uhh, I guess I got pretty sucked into a webcomic recently called Mage & Demon Queen, but I tend to either not read at all, or binge read 20 books in a single month. haven't had the time to do that recently, so my 'to read' list is just piling up.

last movie: it was Fancy Dance

what are you wearing right now?: black jeans and an undershirt because I don't want to put on the rest of my work uniform until I have to leave the house.

how tall are you?: 5'5''

piercings / tattoos?: none actually. I grew up in an area where tattoos were illegal. that's not the case anymore but I just can't ever make up my mind about what kind of tattoo I would want. and I fiddle with jewelry too much to wear any. I always end up breaking it. I've even broken my wedding band on accident haha.

glasses / contacts: glasses since I was like 9. contacts for conventions or the occasional formal event.

Lets get to know me.

1. What's your phone wallpaper? Picture of some jellyfish I took at the Denver Aquarium back in 2021.

2. Favorite singer? I have too many female vocalists I keep rotating but early Kate Bush and Tarja Turunen from Nightwish. For Male vocalists it's Gerard Way, and Brendon Small. Yes, he counts.

3. Favorite band? Evanescence, Avatar, Poppy, Nightwish, Dresden Dolls, Depeche Mode. Anything melodic with heavy contrast.

4. Favorite character of all time? That is a rough one. Utena Tenjou and Jotaro from JJBA for anime. For Disney, it would straight up be Mulan.

5. Favorite book? If it's manga anything by Junji Ito is gold ( with the exception of some Soichi stories) Breverton's Phantasmogoria for an indicies of all things mythology to dive into a rabbit hole. I shoot for non fiction mostly since I read a ton of classics growing up.

6. Favorite movie? If we are talking guilty pleasure, it's the Silent Hill movie and Witch Hunter General.

7. Favorite actor/actress? I have a soft spot for Angelina Jolie and her action film portion of her career. Jennifer Tilly is amazing too. Vincent Price is my favorite actor.

8. Favorite YouTuber? Shit...I tend to cycle through video essays and reaction videos about cartoons. There is also the Helluva Boss series.

9. Do you drink? With coworkers every so often. A shot of whiskey usually. BTW never try SoCal. That 110 proof is like gasoline.

10. If you were an animal what would you be? Probably a shark. Mostly scary looking, lots of teeth, sometimes harmless but will eat anything.
