The Legend of Hana Chapter 125
Warnings: Still making it like OUAT with the past scenes but also trying to incorporate Back Cover into here. Also, more abusive themes in here. If that makes you uncomfy, then skip this chapter

In the small world of Daybreak Town, a woman and her husband were walking along the streets, carrying their new twin girls. As they were enjoying their time with their girls, a hooded man walked up to them. They knew who the man was and how dangerous he could be.
“Such power...” he murmured as his eyes narrowed in thought under his hood. “In the right or wrong hands, some would pay for such pretty little weapons, and not hide them away.”
“What did you just say?” the father demanded. The man turned to face the father, a grim look on his face.
“Sir, you are correct to be concerned. The power of the heavens is now terribly concentrated in the hearts of such cute little babies. They need to be protected. But also kept safe from those who would use them for ill. Though it is a dangerous undertaking, I would be honored to take on such burdens as my own, and lift the responsibility from your shoulders,” he said.
“Our daughters are not burdens,” the mother said, fingers tightening on one of the babies. “They are infants. They aren’t a responsibility, they’re children.”
“Ma’am, one could tell you’re an...excited new mother with all of the resources of an entire business at your disposal,” the man said with a wink under his hood. “All infants and children are responsibilities and burdens. It is why those of us who practice the arts often don’t have time for them.”
“So you have never cared for children before,” the father said.
“Oh, don’t let these scary looks deceive you,” the man said, laughing and spinning coquettishly. “I am far older than I look and have lived a long hard life before now. My experiences are too many to list.”
“That’s not answering the question,” the mother pointed out.
“Here,” the man said in answer, turning to the babies and leaning over them. He stroked the daughters cheeks and murmured soft words before lifting them up, causing their parents to gasp. The babies first woke up in surprise by a stranger, and immediately saw that they were in no harm. They tried to lift their heads off the man’s shoulder to get a look around. When they saw their mother, they relaxed, snuggling back down. “You see now? I’m quite good with little ones. And my knowledge of caring for one will allow me to raise them safely, where they can learn to become great warriors to protect this world from darkness.”
The man and the woman thought for a moment, but then agreed to let the hooded man take their daughters into his care. Little did they know, that he was going to make them weapons for his plan to take over Kingdom Hearts.

It was currently snowing in Daybreak Town and a little girl raced down the large hallways of her home to reach her father’s room. She quietly opened the door and saw that he was currently asleep. She opened the door all the way and jumped on her father’s bed, waking him up.
“Wake up daddy! It’s snowing!” she giggled. But her father did not seem happy that his daughter was waking him up so early in the morning.
“MUKURO! WHAT THE FUCK DID I TELL YOU ABOUT WAKING ME UP?!” he shouted. The little girl stopped jumping on the bed and cowered before the sight of her angry father.
“I-I’m sorry daddy. I-I just wanted to wake you up so we can play in the snow with Junko,” she said, almost on the verge of tears.
“Why would I ever want to play in the snow with a loser like you?” someone asked. Mukuro turned around and found her twin sister, Junko standing in the doorway. It seemed she had already gotten dressed for the day and had a scowl on her face.
“I-I only wanted to play. We never get to do that anymore,” Mukuro explained. Her father grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her to her room, where he locked the door and windows to make sure she didn’t sneak out. Mukuro raced to the door after it was locked and banged on it, begging her father to let her out.
“I’M SORRY DADDY! I WON’T DO IT AGAIN! PLEASE LET ME OUT!” she begged but no one came to her rescue. She then climbed into her bed, where she hid underneath the covers and held her favorite doll, hoping that this torture would be over soon.
                                                          ☽✧☽✧
The world was pure darkness. But I was born into a radiant world enveloped in a brilliant light. From within that light, my master gazed upon me and smiled.
Mm, I’m so sleepy. I can barely keep my eyes open...maybe I can catch a few more z’s...
“Master, did you make this? It's so cute!” said a girl I didn’t know.
She’s wearing a fox mask--who’s she? And...hmm. The man in the black coat must be my master.
“Well, things are gonna get pretty hectic around here soon. But this Spirit Chirithy is gonna make your lives much easier! Hopefully,” he said.
That’s right; I’m a Spirit. But not those who have the magical powers and Guardians. And now there’s a boy with a mask like a leopard staring at me.
“You could say they're like cats or dogs. And they'll be your loyal pets. Every wielder will have one of these adorable little guys at their side. They're here to help, so play nice!”
“Okay!” replied fox-mask girl.
So there’s gonna be more of me...but how? No sense fretting about it, I guess. I’m still so sleepy, after all.
                                                          ☽✧☽✧
Long, long ago, all the worlds were still one. One day, this would be called the age of fairy tales. It all began here in Daybreak Town. The Master of Masters had an eye that gazes into the future.
The Master of Masters had an eye that gazes into the future. He bestowed upon five of his six apprentices a copy of the Book of Prophecies, in which was written the events to come.
The reliable Ira, who wore the mask of the unicorn, was given his role to take over for the Master and to lead the others. Similarly, the virtuous Invi, who wore the mask of the snake, was given her role to watch over the others with a fair eye. The fearless Aced, who wore the mask of the bear, was given his role to support their brand-new leader, Ira. The prudent Ava, who wore the mask of the fox, was given her role to prepare exceptional Keyblade wielders for the world after. The coolheaded Gula, who wore the mask of the leopard, was given his role to uncover the mystery of the Book of Prophecies. All five of them were entrusted with their own copy of the Book. Luxu, the first of the apprentices to be given their role, watched his companions from afar, as they learned what it was that they were meant to do, then, he disappeared.
Not long after that, the Master vanished, dimmed, and faded without a trace. The Master’s two daughters, Mukuro and Junko, were sent on a mission when they were of age, but they had never returned. Perhaps they disappeared like the Master did.
This is where your story began--the story of your very own adventure.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Scenario:
Prompt: As Parents
Tsuna: Tsuna would be a good parent because he’s emotionally available for his child and takes time out of his busy work schedule to be there when they need help. When his child is first born, he’s a nervous wreck and doesn’t know how to do anything (despite caring for Lambo for years). Eventually, after talking it out with his partner and calming down a significant amount, he gets the hang of it. He’s still a bit nervous about it all (he never realized how small a baby really is), but he does his best and manages to succeed. He likes playing with his child when they’re at a younger age and considers those bonding moments between the two. He isn’t considered academically smart and relies on his partner and Reborn for that aspect of raising a child. Furthermore, he relies on his partner for the physical needs of the child (changing, feeding, etc.). Despite it all, Tsuna is a good parent and his child is close with him. He doesn’t mention the mafia until his child is older, and when he does, he asks his child if they want to be a part of that. If his child says no, he respects their choice (He’d teach them how to fight just to protect themselves). If his child says yes, he might try to convince them otherwise, but ultimately would accept their decision and would take the necessary steps for training.
Gokudera: Gokudera isn’t the best with kids (Look at his interactions with Lambo), but I think he’d treat his own child differently. He’d genuinely try his best to be a supportive and kind parent who is there for his kid. However, his workload takes him away from home often. Despite that, when he does get home, he takes his kid out and spends time with them doing what they want to do. He treats them how he treats Tsuna (just a bit toned down). Similar to Tsuna, he’s nervous about having a child in the beginning and is a bit clueless about a lot of things. He’s a smart person though and he’d figure it out quite quickly. He’d try to get his child to join the mafia and might be upset about it if they don’t want to, however he’d get over it eventually. Overall, he’s a good parent (if you ignore the occasional swear word that slips out). His child grows up well and is pretty smart (he definitely helps them out with their homework. It makes him happy when he can help).
Yamamoto: Yamamoto is the fun parent and spends time playing and hanging out with his child. He’s a bit oblivious, but I think he’d be a responsible parent and would be super protective of his family. He’s not the best at setting rules and therefore it would be up to his partner to set the rules and set expectations. He’s emotionally available for his child and they often come to talk to him about things that are troubling them. I don’t think he’d even mention the mafia to them because he’d try to keep his work life separate from his family life. He’d definitely try to get his child to be into baseball, and if they take a liking to it, they’d bond over practicing together. If they didn’t, it might hurt him a bit, but he’s not the type of parent to get upset over that. He gets parenting down surprisingly quickly and doesn’t need to rely on his partner for simple things. He does ask Gokudera or Reborn for help when his child is struggling with their homework though. His child would grow up well and would have a happy childhood
T(wenty)YL!Lambo: You don’t see much about this form of Lambo, but I think at this point he’s matured a decent amount. He’s a relaxed parent and might come off as distant to the outside perspective, but he is there for his child (though he doesn’t give great advice). He most likely relies heavily on his partner for the simple things, but he’s good at being there for his child emotionally (he bases it off the way Nana raised him). He most likely wouldn’t mention the mafia to them, but it might slip out accidentally and he’d be forced to explain it. Overall, he’s not a bad parent, a bit too laid back, but he gets the job done. His child grows up pretty happy and he’s quite affectionate with them
Ryohei: Ryohei is about passion, and he’d be passionate in everything he does for his child. He would adore his child and treat them the same way he treats his sister (like royalty). I think he’d be good at raising a child because he already knows the basics of it because of his younger sister. Despite the fact that they’re not far apart in age, he’s the only one here with a younger sibling. He’d be protective of his child and would try to teach them how to box or fight at a young age (especially because of his childhood). He’s not considered the responsible parent, and therefore his partner would have to be the one to lay down and enforce the rules. He wouldn’t mention the mafia and instead would try to keep his family out of it (as you see how he tries to hide it from Kyoko). Overall, he’s a good parent and his child adores him
Chrome: Chrome would be nervous in the beginning and wouldn’t necessarily know what to do (especially because of the horrible parents she had). Her partner would calm her down and she would figure it out eventually. She loves simple moments shared with her child and adores watching them when they are at a younger age (for example, just watching them bite a plastic toy). She relies a bit heavily on her partner for emotional support, but she is capable of being independent and doing things by herself when needed to. Her child grows up well (though might be a bit meek).
Mukuro: He’s a good parent in terms of responsibility, but he can come off as physically and emotionally unavailable to his child. He cares for his child in subtle ways and shows his affection through words (though even that is subtle). He lets his child do what they want, but he’d try to convince them to join the mafia with him (only to destroy it from the inside). Despite how he appears, he does care about his child and does things that he thinks are in their best interests (as you see with Ken and Chikusa). I see him creating illusions for his child when they’re younger and using it as a way to keep them entertained (He also just likes seeing them smile). He’s a good father, but it takes time for his child to realize that
Hibari: I’ve made a comment on this before, but I think Kyoya would be a great parent. He’s emotionally and physically distant, however, he’s still there for his child. If his child needs help with something he’s there to help them out with it (school, fights, etc.). He needs a partner who is able to fill in the places where he lacks in order to ensure his child has a happy childhood. He isn’t physically affectionate but he would praise them and give them affectionate head pats if he’s proud of them. He’s not responsible in the sense that he does reckless things, but I do think he would be the parent who lays down the rules and has expectations for his child. He doesn’t outright mention the mafia, but he does train his child to be strong and teaches them how to fight at a young age. Overall, he’s a good parent when coupled with a specific type of partner

Hibari Headcanons
that nobody asked for
Tumblr media
He likes small animals but not your usual small animals. (The way he kicked uri out in the future instead of letting the cat stay 😭) I.e he’d pick a sugar glider over a guinea pig
He hates crowds because he still hates the fact that when he was still learning to be sociable kids had the power of alienating him. He despises that group mindset that children had. In kindergarten some kids invited him to play then told him to get lost and nobody stood up for him. He has one intrusive thought and it’s that feeling. He genuinely hates crowds because it feels like an opportunity for people to get to decide who isn’t welcomed. He lowkey doesn’t want to witness that moment to happen to anyone else.
His overthinking only stops when he’s alone so he genuinely does prefer it. He doesn’t mind one or two people in an intimate setting but when it’s more he wants to disconnect.
He’s all about repaying debts quickly I think he takes this on an emotional level too so he feels if you get too close or kind he has to return that by being transparent as well and he knows he’s bad at it so he just stops you altogether by not letting you even create that environment around him. I.e in the future he’s fine in the hospital room then more people come and he warns Tsuna then beats his ass because it was getting too emotional seeing ppl visit chrome when he just wanted to check on her from afar and not hear everyone’s emotions.
He takes pictures of random things , like a leaf with water droplets, clouds from Nami middles roof , his sneakers when he’s walking. They’re not amazing but he just always does it and never shares. It’s kind of grunge but unintentionally.
He has a knack for throw blankets. He has one in every room they’re mostly black white or purple no designs except for the ones from his grandparents.
If you have ever watched Saiki k I think he has the exact same relationship with his parents. If you haven’t : he’s serious and reserved and willingly antisocial but not because of trauma and his parents are so normal and caring it’s funny in contrast. But they’re a tad bit more refined than saikis.
He was partly raised by his grandparents when he was much younger and that’s why he really loves tradition and order while his parents are hardly as strict.
His grandfather was probably a vet who joined solely to protect Namimori . Hibari has that same love for the town because of him but like his grandfather he’s in no way patriotic. They both just love this town He thinks of his grandfather when he thinks of Namimori and because he is gone now he latches on to the town even more.
His grandfather is Fon. Hear me out. Fon could have been around 40 when he was cursed , could’ve had a son young (18) but it was fine because he was a very well respected champion. The Hibaris had money and as long as he was a positive image in his career field they wouldn’t mind what he did although their lineage is that of leaders and scholars. He stopped for a bit to go into the army and when he came back he stumbles upon the mafia . His son grows up to also have a kid young Fon and his wife watch after Hibari until he’s around 7 while his son and daughter in law work extremely hard to get established in their career paths. They come back and one day Fon just vanished bc he’s cursed and hibaris dad knows he was in the mafia so he just doesn’t dwell on what might have happened but doesn’t share because he didn’t want to pain him as a bad guy to his son but they’re all pretty upset about it.
Fon taught hibari how to fight , that’s why he has his grandfathers disposition and tenacity although it’s a tad immature in comparison. Fon tells him his style will be what he picks and hibari randomly picks tonfas as his weapon. Fon has it in his house because although he uses no weapons he’s fond of their history. Fon gets him a pair of silver ones.
He’s not the brightest, he’s not as terrible as Tsuna and Yamamoto but he’s average academically. He’s not interested in excelling academically and getting a painfully respectable job like doctor lawyer or something in business. And I think his air of nonchalant attitude can only come from a trust fund kid who’s parents don’t expect them to be their carbon copy.
He literally gets himself held back just to stick around a middle school he likes and nobody objects or is worried about his future. It’s definitely secured.
He really doesn’t care about the disciplinary committee members because he didn’t mean to form it. Students have a love hate relationship with him. He was just some scary strong guy who happened to beat up the right people who were pests and they thought he did it for the good of everyone. But they realized too late that it’s really just who irritates him and that sometimes coincides with their best interest so they let it be because he’s a comforting and unsettling presence to have. Like even Tsuna acknowledges this despite being terrified of him most the time he’s always like “wait Hibari will handle it”
He likes that he has disciples because it’s a crowd he’s apart of and is the center of but doesn’t have to be too close and nobody can kick him out or make him feel unwanted.
His parents actually like that he’s respected (oblivious to the fear) as the leader of this club around town because their family is known for strong leadership and he’s applied it to what he wanted.
He likes hamburger steak because when his parents came back his mom liked to test American recipes once she moved back to Japan. This was the only one he really liked enough to ask for again
He can’t cook. At all. Hopeless. Would burn water.
He would kill you for a well made dessert. They put him in a good mood but he’s a weirdo that doesn’t like rewarding himself so it has to be a gift or offered.
He actually likes band t shirts ripped jeans boots and all of that but hardly wears it out because he finds he likes being in his uniform more.
He’s a good boxer because everyone seems to forget he won a BOXING match for royhei. Hello he couldn’t use tonfas he actually had to punch ppl. Yeah he’s strong but that’s a style of fighting he definitely learned from Fon.
He jogs on a private trail around his families property, sometimes his father joins him.
His parents know him really well. He’s not a difficult kid to them. they’re the only ones he answers to but even then they raised him to be independent so they’re not that authoritative over him.
He has a hard time listening to them because he thinks they leave him to govern himself too much and shouldn’t only get a say sometimes.
They feel bad about leaving him to his grandparents for so long but his mother says she’ll never regret making sure their lives were better for him.
They have a good relationship give or take a few problems stemming from their separation from him.
He can draw really well. I don’t know why. But he just does. He does it often on random papers his only collection being a small box his mother keeps of them. He hates when she saves them.
He’s the baby of his entire family but his father is on the higher end of his family and same with his mother for hers so everyone is always asking to see him but he refuses to leave Namimori for longer than a day or two.
He has a sister. Idk. I just feel he has a sibling that’s either way older or a toddler that spends time on trips with their mother because she doesn’t have school yet.
He watches horror movies with his parents a lot. But they have to be psychological thrillers and he always has to fight his dad with his mom on what everything meant.
He’s spoiled. He’s nonchalant about everything but when it comes down to it he is a trust fund baby who would have been sent to a nice private high school abroad.
He has been arrested but his father being his father makes an arrangement with the police force in Nami where he’s just his own independent junior division. It would explain why the people in his committee look significantly older than him sometimes😭.
Tetsyua has always been the only member who’s name he learned because he doesn’t disappoint him. He is to him what Shoichi was to Byakuran , competent in other areas and capable of surprising him. And he never made Hibari feel like he had to say anything to him for that hibari considers him to be a good friend.
Tetsu and Ryohei are the only people he finds familiar and respectable enough to converse with like a normal fucking teenager 😭.
Royhei is loud but he doesn’t mind him because the boy is ALWAYS alone training. And like him he doesn’t backdown from a fight , also he causes no trouble at school.
He hangs out with him more than you’d think but he never initiates it or stops it.
Hibari lets Royhei use his private trail to jog sometimes. His parents know the sasagawa kids well because of this, they get invited to dinner a lot.
He likes kyoko better because she’s like a quieter Royhei but just as kind and determined. He tries to be nice to her by greeting her from them to time but stops because she popular and it draws attention and annoying rumors.
She says he really hates crowds and understands how nosy people in their grade are and says it’s okay if he doesn’t wave back sometimes. She assumes he’s actually extremely shy and misunderstood. (Sis he’s just a delinquent)
It’s platonic but he actually fond of her and is nice to her and they text from time to time. She’s the only one who knows to give him sweets because they talk about them.
He tries to get revenge on Mukuro for making him associate something he actually liked enough to go view (Sakura) with humiliation and anger that he tries to return the favor. The bastard loves nothing that much so he’s still thinking.
His parents think some girl broke up with him at a Sakura filled place and that’s why he suddenly hates it. He won’t explain they’re wrong because it’s better than the real story.
He’s a history buff , but a world history buff not just Japan.
He has an admirable garden that he tends to and sells half the vegetables his chef only cooks for three and doesn’t need that many.
He likes the snow he thinks it’s calming when everyone stays home in their house while outside is cold and harsh but pretty. He makes his parents special hot chocolate on days like that. They let him drink hot wine sometimes but only a sip or two.
He’s bilingual because his parents taught him Italian when he was younger after they had come back. They also taught him a little English.
He watches a lot of American media and listens to their music as well.
On his birthday he never goes out because it’s a holiday and more people are out than usual so his family has a dinner for him and get him gifts.
His mother gives more thoughtful gifts that he appreciates later while his father indulges him and gets him stuff like a popular manga series or a meeting to upgrade his tonfas again or clothing he really likes.

Frozen Cold
The cold never bothered me anyway (Sorry)
“Get out!” Junko snapped as she grabbed Mukuro’s hair and started dragging her to the front door. Mukuro just followed, very confused. She tried her very hardest not to upset her sister, and all she had done was walk into the living room when Junko had snapped at her. “I don’t want to see your fat, smelly, ugly face in my house any more.” Junko continued as she opened the front door. A cold breeze instantly rushed into the house. “If I’m feeling nice, I may let you back in tomorrow. Until then, if I see you near the house I’ll disown you for good.” Junko said, physically shoving Mukuro out the door and slamming it shut. Mukuro looked up, feeling defeated and a little empty. Her sister was her entire world, and now she wanted nothing to do with her. She tried to stay optimistic, though. Junko had said she’d let her back in tomorrow, and she took every single one of Junko’s words as truth regardless of what they were. Even if they were derogatory towards her. She walked away, trying to find somewhere she could go for shelter.
She eventually reached the park, starting to shiver. It was snowing lightly, and all she was wearing was a flimsy vest top and cotton shorts. She was strong, though. Her survival instincts were kicking in, and she knew she had to find some shelter for now. The park didn’t seem to have any, though. She went over to a bench, laying down underneath it. This was the best she could do. The snow was getting heavier with each passing minute. She curled up tightly, closing her eyes. She tried to ignore the cold, but her constant shivering made it near impossible.
Makoto hurried through the park, knowing he was already late. His whole class had planned a Christmas party, and he was heading there now. He stopped when he saw something under the bed. He had heard stories about people finding bodies while walking or jogging. Just his luck that it would happen to him. He took a few steps closer, noticing a mark on the back of the person’s right hand that was very familiar to him. He started running, slipping over a patch of ice and landing right beside her. He silently cursed, looking down at her hand again. The mark on the back of her hand was an unmistakable tattoo.
“Mukuro?” He was a little confused, wondering why she was there. She didn’t respond either, so he reached over and gently shook her shoulder in a futile attempt to wake her. Her shoulder was as cold as ice, and her entire body was shivering. “Mukuro wake up.” He shook her harder, still not getting a response. He grabbed her wrist, feeling for a pulse. His heart sank when at first he couldn’t feel anything. Eventually he did feel a pulse. It was weak, though. He pulled her out from under the bench, laying her on top of it instead. He then pulled his phone out of his pocket, struggling to type as he messaged Sakura and asked her to come with warm blankets immediately. He didn’t explain why, more worried about Mukuro than anything else. He took off his coat, wrapping it around her. He was still wearing two jumpers underneath, so he was still warm. His coat helped a little, but she was still cold and shivery. He laid on top of her, trying to use his body warmth to warm her too.
Less than ten minutes later Sakura showed up, and with her was Hina. Both looked extremely concerned.
“What happened Makoto?” Hina asked as she reached the bench with Sakura. He looked up, relieved to see them both.
“I don’t know. I just found her under the bench frozen.” Makoto explained. Sakura nodded, picking up Mukuro with ease. She kept Makoto’s coat over her like a blanket, feeling how cold she was. Hina meanwhile helped Makoto stand. He’d sprained his ankle when he slipped, which was the only reason he hadn’t just carried her home.
“Let’s go. We got tonnes of warm blankets in the car.” Hina said to him, leading him to the car. Sakura was just ahead of them. She unlocked the car and settled Mukuro in the back, wrapping her up in blankets. Makoto got into the back too.
“Take us home, please.” Makoto asked, yawning. He was starting to feel tired, but he wasn’t even considering sleeping.
“Shouldn’t you take her to the hospital?” Hina asked, munching on a doughnut from the box she had brought with her from the party. Makoto glanced at her, shaking his head.
“Nah. I think she’ll be fine. I’ll ask mum to take us if she gets worse.” Makoto assured her. He admired how strong Mukuro was, he was certain he couldn’t survive what she could. Sakura nodded once, driving to Makoto’s house in silence.
Makoto lead Sakura and Hina into his house, his mum instantly coming to them as soon as the door closed. Sakura was holding Mukuro, who was still unconscious and now wrapped in blankets like a baby.
“You’re home early. Who’s your friends?” She asked, looking up at Sakura and Hina. The only person Makoto had actually invited over before was Sayaka, someone he’d known since middle school.
“This is Sakura, Hina, and the girl in Sakura’s arms is Mukuro.” Makoto introduced his classmates to his mum. She smiled, recognising one name in particular.
“Mukuro, the one you’re always talking about?” She asked, messing around with him a little. Hina giggled a little, and Makoto quickly got embarrassed.
“Mum!” He whined, causing her to laugh a little. He took a breath to shake off the embarrassment before continuing. “I was walking to the party, when I found Mukuro unconscious and freezing in the park. I slipped and sprained my ankle so I had to call Hina and Sakura to help me out.” He explained. The older woman looked more sympathetic, nodding her head.
“Alright. Why don’t you take her up to your room, and I’ll bring up some hot water bottles. Okay?” She suggested, going into the kitchen. Makoto nodded, guiding Sakura and Hina upstairs to his room.
“You guys can go back to the party if you want. I can take care of her from here.” Makoto said to Sakura and Hina. Sakura nodded and laid Mukuro on Makoto’s bed, pulling his thick duvet over her. She wasn’t shivering as much anymore, and she’s warmed up significantly. “Apologise on my behalf for not being there.”
“Alright. See you later Makoto. Text me and let me know how she’s getting on, okay?” Hina said to him, grinning and heading out with Sakura. Makoto sat down carefully on the end of the bed, glancing at her. He placed his hand gently on her forehead, feeling that it was warm. He smiled a little, letting his hand brush down her cheek. She’d always been a loner in class, keeping to herself. He wanted to get to know her more.
“I got the hot water bottles, and some hot cocoa.” His mum said as she came into his room. He took the hot cocoa from her, letting her set the hot water bottles where they’d help Mukuro warm up the fastest. She decided to leave once she’d done that, giving them some space. Makoto looked back at her, laying down beside her on the bed. He could hear the weather outside, knowing if he hadn’t found her when he did she would be dead. Nobody could survive out there wearing summer clothes. He instinctively wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. He was quite a warm person, and he hoped it would help. After ten minutes, Mukuro’s eyes very slowly opened. She looked around, not recognising her surroundings. She would’ve shot up and investigated her surroundings, but she felt really weak right now.
“Where…? Wha-…?” She mumbled. From where she was laying she couldn’t see Makoto, but she could feel his presence. He sat up when he heard her voice, a relieved smile on his face.
“I found you unconscious in the park. What happened?” He asked softly. She looked up at him, blushing a little. She’d had a crush on him forever now, but was very good at hiding it. She looked away quickly, not speaking. She didn’t want Junko being angry at her for telling him. He frowned at her silence. “You need to tell me. You nearly died out there. I know you’re a strong soldier, but it’s okay to say if something isn’t right.” Makoto tried to get her to open up, and it worked.
“Junko kicked me out because I upset her, but it’s okay because she said she’d let me back in tomorrow.” She tried to cover for her sister while still being truthful to Makoto. He was still shocked by her story. He had a sister, and he couldn’t even imagine throwing her out in such a cruel way.
“Ah…” he didn’t know what else to say. She was convinced her relationship with Junko was normal, despite the fact in truth it was emotionally abusive. He could tell, too. “Stay here for a while, and if you ever wind up being kicked out again then you’re more than welcome to stay here.” He assured her, deciding that was the best thing to say. She nodded, wrapping her arms around herself with a hot water bottle in her arms. She was still a little cold and under the weather, but now she had someone to care for her.

I'm interested in that idea you mentioned where the Vongola brothers thaw Xanxus, pack up their followers, and go to Japan. (Tsuna getting four older brothers would be awesome.)
*slams back onto the blog* MY INTERNET IS BACK AND SANJUNO IS ONLINE AGAIN, BITCHES!
I call this one FIRE SHALL WAKEN and I straight up admit that I did not expect this much of a plot for something that was essentially an offhand comment I made because I thought it was funny but oh well.
Let’s begin!
So sixteen year old Xanxus discovers that he’s “adopted” before Enrico gets fatally shot in the back but instead of going to talk to his brothers he still goes through with the Cradle Affair tantrum.
>Enrico, Mas, and Fede are confined to the Iron Fort by Coyote because of paranoia about the Varia being more loyal to Xanxus than the Vongola overall.
>Squalo is bereaved because his Sky is frozen solid and proceeds to lose it on Enrico when confronted about why Xanxus went bonkers and now Enrico knows everything.
Enrico, of course, proceeds to tell Mas and Fede why Xanxus tried to kill Nono dead.
>Fede points out how interesting it is that Xanxus waited until all of his brothers were outside the Iron Fort before attacking.
>Enrico points out that Xan had been noticeably avoiding Nono but hadn’t cut his brothers out of his life.
>Mas digs up the security footage and notices that Xanxus said many nasty things about Nono but didn’t so much as mention his brothers during his ranting. (My how interesting…)
Enrico proceeds to move into the Iron Fort to “help Papa out” which translated into actual intent means “scope out the security system with an eye for breaking it and locate Xan’s iceberg.”
>Mas moves into the Varia mansion to “keep an eye on things”
>Fede invades the CEDEF on the regular to find out what they know and also to sow confusion because fuck you Nono is why
Consequences are suffered by those who took action without thinking!
>Enrico also gets an up-close view of Nono’s bullshit in action, which he never saw in canon because it was never pointed out so blatantly until Nono (i) lied about matters of succession and (ii) froze Enrico’s littlest brother in ice.
>Mas gets to conspire with the Varia and has tons of fun pretending to be thick while plotting the demise of his enemies.
>Fede undermines Iemitsu in the CEDEF without actually joining that branch because Mas is the one who wanted to play spy games for a living and Fede is much better suited to being the Family troubleshooter. Also Mas and Fede poach several CEDEF agents because Sky Attraction and Iemitsu Doesn’t Deserve Nice Things bwahahaha~
Shortly after Nono’s sons finish “establishing order” after the Cradle Affair Nono and Iemitsu go on a trip to Japan (we all know what happens here) except this time:
>(i) Fede is keeping a close enough eye on the CEDEF to discover what the purpose behind the trip was and (ii) the Bros di Vongola are making plans to rescue their baby brother and leave the Vongola hanging without any Heirs at all because Nono certainly doesn’t care about the succession so why should they?
Instead of possessing people to arrange the deaths of the 10th Gen Vongola Heirs, Daemon Spade’s ghost is very much in favour of the boys rejecting their father because anarchy and Fuck Them All Very Much
>Daemon doesn’t approve of Nono, so the more the bros work against Nono the more Daemon likes them. The irony of them all packing up and moving to Japan to force Nono to clean up his own fucking mess is too brilliant to sabotage. He needs to know how this ends.
It takes two years for everything to be in place for the 10th Gen migration. Many changes from canon occur during this time.
(i) Enrico finally tracks down Xan’s Mama and Harmonizes her as his Mist.
>Goes to the Falco Heir’s piano recital and bonds Bianche as his Storm. Is horrified by Hayato’s treatment and frequent poisonings, draws emotionally driven parallels between Hayato’s treatment and Xanuxs’, and intercepts Hayato’s first attempt to run away to take Hayato in as his ward.
>Manages to Harmonize with Lal as his Rain over the course of several meetings with Fede for information exchanges.
>Visits the Bovino and finds Ottavia to be his Lightning, and she brings newborn Lambo with her because her sister died.
>Snags M.M. to be his Sun out of Paris’ Underworld Theatre District before she crosses the line and is arrested by the Vindice. (He’s there on business but yay new Element!)
>Enrico is somewhat disturbed by how much younger than him his Storm and Sun are and hopes that his Cloud will be closer to his own age or older.
(ii) Mas met Sparta (the OC I have as his Cloud) in his last year of the Mafia Academy. She gets along well with the Varia.
>Mas is being very careful and low-key about Courting Oregano and Tumeric into his Harmony because Iemitsu is a giant bag of dicks and also a toxic influence.
>Moretti the Murdered is Mas’ Mist and it’s hilarious because the Varia are So Offended.
Fede’s Lightning is Romeo Bovino who is ultimately distracted by finding HIS SKY!!!! and entirely forgets to flirt with Bianchi and thus survives yay
>Runs into Lancia while out shopping with Hayato and his Intuition says “Look it’s your Storm” and also Hayato is a vicious little savage who charms Mukuro and Co. and can sympathize with their experiences re. being tortured by your family. Frequent interaction with the Varia gives Mukuro and Co.s vengeance drive a constructive outlet so they don’t murderspree their way into Vindicare and also the plan to abscond will leave the Vongola Alliance in shambles and Mukuro wants to see that. So. Let’s be friends!
>Fede picks up Basil as his Rain while stalking the CEDEF because Iemitsu doesn’t deserve to have such a cute little minion and also the family resemblance is pretty obvious even if the kid isn’t a Sky.
>Accidentally Harmonizes Shamal as his Mist while tracking down Hayato and Bianchi’s medical records and lambasts Shamal for not treating Hayato’s poison damage just because he’s a boy (you irresponsible asshole) Shamal spends a significant amount of time repenting for that bullshit because Fede’s Not Having It.
Despite all the Harmonizing happening Nono continues to believe that the men he assigned to his sons are their actual Guardians.
>The bros let Nono think this because it a good distraction tactic and it gives them a guaranteed way to feed Nono misinformation about what they’re up to.
Two years is a long enough time for people to start noticing the shenanigans but the bros are good at being sneaky and also they all have Mists so good fucking luck getting a clear picture of what they’re getting up to. Then Nono goes to an Alliance Boss meting at Mafia Land and takes Iemitsu with him which means now’s our chance.
>As soon as Nono’s plane takes off the 10th gen defrosts Xan, rolls him into a blanket burrito, shoves him at his very confused Guardians, and packs the entirety of the Varia plus the Vongola 10th Gen’s personal following into a series of transport containers and take off for Japan.
>Enrico shoots Ottavio in the head execution style with one of Daniela’s crossbows before they leave because “fuck you, traitor” is why.
The Alliance is shook.
>Dino is still in training with Reborn (being around 16 or 17) and is high-key jealous that his Vongola counterparts got to fuck off and ditch their inheritance. Romario’s the one who digs up the old Tradition about “escaping” the Mafia by moving to Japan (which also includes a kind of “diplomatic immunity” agreement with the yakuza.) Dino wants to go to Japan too T-T
MEANWHILE IN JAPAN
>Xanxus is really fucking confused right now okay this is not how he was expecting his confrontation with Nono over his heritage to shake out (His bros picked Xanxus over Nono WTF)
>The Varia are honestly just happy to have their Sky back they don’t even care about technically being in hiding.
The Vongola 10th Gen buys a Japanese Mansion in Namimori and happily settle in.
>Of course their first order of business is to go see their baby cousin~ because “fuck you, Iemtisu, answer your wife’s phone calls” is why and also they need to get that Seal off Tsuna and also, also it’ll give Hayato, Mukuro, and co. a local guide in Namimori.
>Of course, the second Enrico peels the Seal off Tsuna’s Flames the kid goes into HDWM and Harmonizes with Hayato and Mukuro on reflex and also Hyper Intuition.
Nana is over the moon because her baby boy has friends now and also she 100% takes over as the 10th Gen’s Head of Housekeeping and before anyone really has time to think about it Nana and Tsuna have moved into the mansion
>Please take a moment to consider the repercussions of having five active Skies living in a single house who all love each other and want their family to be happy. The Harmony effect is soporific, wide spread, pervasive, and Namimori is a happy, peaceful town.
Hayato is once again Tsuna’s Right Hand but this time it’s Mukuro who is the Left Hand and the chaos is beautiful.
>TBH the way a less traumatized Hayato and a more rational Mukuro mesh and work together is surprisingly functional and cooperative. Also I’m pretty sure that the first thing they do is go track down Nagi for kidnapping purposes because of psychic links and Harmony is helpful for strengthening things like that.
>Which means that Chrome doesn’t get squished by a truck! Yay! Yes, they still change her name. It’s so her parents can’t find her neener-neener
Hayato and Mukuro are little assholes and are Not Pleased by the way Tsuna has been and is still being treated at school. They proceed to concoct a multi-layered, three tiered plan to take vengeance in Tsuna’s name. There are several lists, charts, graphs, and at least one Venn Diagram because Mukuro is artistic like that.
>Kyouya is angry at first because his territory but then notices how the herbivores have started to behave themselves and that means more time for uninterrupted naps and that’s beautiful. Tetsuya is torn between elation and terror because on one hand Kyou-san has friends but on the other, far more traumatizing to the citizenry hand they’re all amoral bloodthirsty monsters.
>Anyway Kyouya founds the DC, Mukuro sets up an informant network, and Hayato takes over the student council.
Tsuyoshi isn’t sure what to make of the Sudden Assassin Migration into Namimori but at least the Sword Emperor is too distracted by his Sky being on bedrest to be hunting down retired Swordsmen.
>Tsuyoshi should maybe think about starting Takeshi’s sword training because Tsuna’s gone and made friends with Takeshi now that he’s unSealed (Fuck Everything Tsuyoshi doesn’t deserve this sort of stress)
TBH Ken probably joins the Boxing Club and Ryohei’s so happy to the extreme.
>Kyoko will join the Mist Collective in Managing Everyone’s Lives because she’s nonviolent and also a bit of an emotional manipulator. Hana is the DC Secretary and gets along far too well with Hibari-sempai for anyones comfort.
>I honestly have no real idea what Haru is up to in this AU but she probably takes over Midori and has a very loudly dramatic rivalry with Hayato for brain-crush reasons.
Chikusa is getting roped in as Hayato’s VP and they rule Namimori Elementary with decidedly Iron Fists. With spikes on.
>TBH the fact that Tsuna becomes the Chairman of the Home Ec Club is the Best Thing because Tsuna loves his Mama and he’s only fifth in line to inherit still so he can do whatever he wants and that means fluffy homemaker comfort Sky who cheers on his Guardian’s shenanigans instead of a panicked stressed out punching bag.
>Tsuna’s favourite Vongola Head is the Fourth because FORKS! and everything is beautiful and nothing hurts.
TBH I have NO IDEA how long it takes Nono to find Ottavio’s body but it’s probably really gross by then because Italy’s a hot country and also between them Enrico and Mas and Fede stole all of the CEDEF’s upper management and Iemtisu is pants at sorting paperwork.
>Then there’s panic and anarchy and very strained Alliance politics until Reborn finishes training Dino and then Reborn is sent to Namimori to train the “last” Vongola heir only to find the entire Vongola 10th Gen
>Be aware that at no point did the Varia stop taking missions which drives the 9th Gen into frothing fits because they still can’t find where they’re hiding.
This time when Tsuna says he doesn’t want to be a Mafia Boss the actual heir is still alive, sitting right beside Tsuna at the table, and is laughing at Reborn.
>Enrico straight up tells Reborn not to waste his time and that when Nono dies/retires he’ll take the Rings but not a moment before then.
>Nono forced their hands when he lied to Xan, left him for dead in the ice, and tried to force his sons to accept ill-suited Guardians without ever admitting he’d fucked up or done something wrong.
>Oh yeah, Xan needed to be revived when Enrico defrosted him it was a damn good thing all three of his bros were there to help with that and GUESS WHAT HE DID TO TSUNAYOSHI?
Dino shows up and well now the Alliance knows where the Vongola 10th Gen are hiding out.
>Drama, politicking, shenanigans, IDEK at this point I mostly just want to see the FSW!AU Tsuna and co. get dragged into a canon!TYL adventure because that shit’s hilarious and is also an entirely new story all on it’s own if I want to handle it right.
>Because there’s no Varia Arc, although if Iemitsu shows up he’s gonna be hella surprised when the “weaker” Skies kick the shit out of him because the Vongola Bros have real bonds now plus their Five Sky Harmony and shit’s insane, friends.
Shit with the Arcobaleno will go down at some point and by now I’ve internalized a preference for Reborn being Aria’s Sun Guardian because “I’m my daughter’s Sun” is a glorious clusterfuck of pun combined with a Dad joke and Reborn would revel in that so much.
>Skull is Fede’s Cloud, which is fabulous and a match made with the intent of making the world a more interesting place and also I may indulge in my secret love for Reborn/Skull in this verse because Aria’s going to marry Fede. XP
>Consiquently, Verde is Mas’ Lightning, Collonello is Enrico’s Second Rain, Mammon is (of course) Xan’s Mist, and Fon’s going to be Tsuna’s Second Storm.
I kinda wanna see Spanner be Byakuran’s Lightning in this verse because reasons but also I think I’m done for the night.
Yay. XP
