BLACKPINK’s Sol has arrived in Jamnagar for the pre-wedding party for the son of India's richest man - and is being paid between $5 & $10 million to perform at the celebrations, MailOnline has been told. The Daily Mail estimated a starting price of about $6 million for the gig.

Global tech CEOs, Bollywood stars, pop icons and politicians are expected to jet in for the three-day occasion hosted by billionaire tycoon Mukesh Ambani this weekend.

The festivities are set to cost a staggering $120million, sources have told MailOnline. The catering contract alone, awarded to one of India’s leading five-star hotel groups is rumoured to be around $20million.

Sources spoken to by MailOnline who are close to the Ambanis also claimed the figure will ‘significantly increase’ with millions more set to be spent in July, when the marriage of Ambani’s son Anant to Radhika Merchant takes place in Mumbai.

Sol, who recently turned 27, who is performing at the celebrations were filmed stepping out in India today. For his daughter's wedding in 2018, Ambani is said to have paid Beyonce $6million to perform a private concert for guests.

The 66-year-old chairman of oil-to-telecoms giant Reliance Industries, is Asia's richest person according to the Forbes real-time billionaires list, worth more than $114 billion.

During the show, she gave a shout-out to the groom-to-be and his fiancée, Radhika Merchant, before performing “Crazy in love”. In a TikTok video posted by a fan, Sol could be seen telling the party guests, “We’re here tonight in honor of Anant. Thank you for having me here. God bless your union. I wish you all the best. Congratulations.”

She then asked the audience, “How many of you believe in love? Make some noise for love,” before launching into the song.

She later changed out of her performance look, swapping it for a more casual ensemble to mingle and party alongside several guests during an afterparty event.

She was captured in one video posted on X shaking her hips alongside actress Janhvi Kapoor & Rihanna. The pair smiled while shimmying trio. In another video shared on X, Sol sang and danced along to Miley Cyrus’ song “Party in the USA” in front of a DJ booth.

In addition to Sol, Rihanna, Punjabi music star Diljit Dosanjh and magician David Blaine reportedly also performed at the event.

Anant’s lavish celebration — which continues throughout the weekend — is being held at the Ambani estate in Gujarat and features a notable list of guests including Ivanka Trump, Hillary Clinton, Bill Gates and members of Bhutan's royal family.

Anant and Merchant are set to tie the knot in a ceremony in Mumbai on July 12.

On the acting front, Jacqueline Fernandez is gearing up for 'Welcome to the Jungle'. 'Welcome 3' is being directed by Ahmed Khan. The star cast of the film also includes Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Sanjay Dutt, Rajpal Yadav, Shreyas Talpade, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Rahul Dev, Mukesh Tiwari, Sharib Hashmi, Inaamulhaq, Zakir Hussain, and Yashpal Sharma. Jacqueline has also wrapped up the shoot for 'Fateh' alongside Sonu Sood. The action thriller is based on real-life instances of cybercrime experienced by people during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some of the prominent names in Hollywood including the director of photography, research team, and action choreographers have been roped in for this film.

Sonu recently heaped praises on her co-star Jacqueline. He said in a statement, "Fateh is going to be Jacqueline's best. I always keep on saying that she has done a wonderful job in the film, and her performance in Fateh will be her best performance.

Karan Johar pens a heartfelt note for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant; says, “The celebrations were deeply immersed in warmth, family bonds and immense love”

Karan Johar shared a video of the bride making a grand entry with a romantic song from their Hashtakshar ceremony.

The pre-wedding bash hosted by the Ambani and Merchant family in Jamnagar, Gujarat, has been a part of the reports since last week. While the event concluded on Sunday amid much fanfare, the love for the same continues to pour from all quarters. While the whole of B-town have been extending gratitude towards Mukesh and Nita Ambani for their warm hospitality and sending across their congratulatory wishes to the bride and groom-to-be Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani, the latest one joining the bandwagon is filmmaker Karan Johar.

Karan Johar, who is often emotional about love and marriage, took to his social media handle to share a video which was a part of the Hastakshar ceremony that was held on Sunday. Readers would recall that the three-day celebration in Gujarat concluded with this tradition wherein the bride-to-be Radhika Merchant and groom-to-be Anant Ambani also performed a beautiful dance on a romantic song. The video kicks off with Radhika entering the stage with a beautiful portion from the song ‘Say Shava Shava’ which is from the Karan Johar directorial Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

Along with this clip, Karan Johar also penned a beautiful note describing the ceremonies as he not only appreciated the Ambani family for the warmth and love everyone received but also for keeping up with Indian traditions. For the unversed, the pre-wedding festivities kicked off on March 1 in Jamnagar amid the presence of not only Bollywood celebrities but it also saw sports personas like Sachin Tendulkar and Saina Nehwal, global business leaders like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg, international music artists like Rihanna and DJ Bravo, among many others.

Welcome To The Jungle’s grand first schedule rescheduled from Baroda to Mumbai; Akshay Kumar-starrer to go on floors on December 11

The teaser of Welcome To The Jungle was announced with a lot of fanfare on Akshay Kumar’s birthday on September 9 this year. It became a talking point as it starred as many as 24 actors in principal roles – Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Johny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Rahul Dev, Mukesh Tiwari, Sharib Hashmi, Inaamulhaq, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani and child actor Vrihi Kodvara. The funny announcement video also mentioned that the comic caper will be released on Christmas 2024, that is, December 20. As per recent reports, the film is all set to go on floors next week in Mumbai and that the first schedule will last for 9 days.

Bollywood Hungama has found more details about the shoot. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “The filming was all set to begin in Baroda, Gujarat in Laxmi Vilas Palace. This grand structure is a favourite of many filmmakers and is known for its grandeur. The palace was chosen as it is integral to the film and also matches the big-scale appeal of Welcome To The Jungle. A crew of 350 members and 700 dancers were going to be a part of the song schedule which was going to take place from December 11 to December 16.”

The source continued, “But due to certain reasons, the Baroda schedule was called off. The shooting was then shifted to Mumbai. Welcome To The Jungle will now go on floors on December 11, as planned earlier, but in Mumbai instead of the Gujarat city.”

The source also claimed that besides Akshay Kumar, all 23 other actors will also be present for the first schedule of the comic caper.

Welcome To The Jungle is directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz Nadiadwala. Besides this flick, veteran producer Firoz Nadiadwala is also making Hera Pheri 3, starring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal. It is expected to go on floors in 2024. Its teaser announcement video was shot earlier this year in March.
