Notes: Hello. It’s been 3 months sine we did anything. Life has been rough to us and our partners, so you know… We put this on our bluesky, but we'll put it here too.

MQF is on his own little mission, having run low on a few hard-to-get herbs. Knowing he can't send his disciples since it's out of their skill range, he ends up going. While there, gathering the herbs, he sees ZZL in his snake-ish form. Curiosity peaked, he pokes and prods at ZZL; he doesn't even bat an eye at any hissing ZZL does. And with having gathered his herbs, and finished annoying the weird looking snake thing that has demonic energy, he sets off back towards his peak.

It's only after he checks his pouches and basket, he sees ZZL again. MQF, now utterly confused and a little apprehensive, sets ZZL on his desk and tells him not to touch his stuff and to stay there. MQF goes off to put away the herbs collected for a while. When he returns, he sees ZZL sulking by a shattered potted plant he had had knocked over. MQF doesn't scold him, cleaning up the mess while sighing at the weird situation he's in. ZZL stares at him the entire time, knowing that this is weird. But since MQF didn't kill him, he'll repay him.

When you say that Yue Qingyuan goes on a quest to un-extinct heavenly demons, I now have the image of Yue Qingyuan wondering who he needs to bang in order to ensure that a heavenly demon is born. Didn't Tianlang Jun have a snake nephew that was never captured and was part heavenly demon...?

Ooh, I like that idea the more I think about it. Zhuzhi Lang X Yue Qingyuan who aren't like really in love with each other but good friends who bang every now and then and are co-parenting this adorable little snake-child-demon. (and then the two don't realize when they actually end up in love-love when they've already been living the old married couple life for decades together.)

Shen Yuan holds onto the baby snake and gets peed upon because it's a baby. He's cured... but only for few months before the disease comes back.

It's because the heavenly demon blood has been diluted too much.

Thus Mu Qingfang direct Shen Yuan to slather on Zhuzhi Lang's urine like that's not weird at all. This time around, it worked for a full year, but it still isn't a permanent fix.

Shen Yuan: I feel like a poor tree that all the dogs like to use as their bathroom now. Man, I really feel for the trees. Shen Yuan, feeling sad about his current state of affairs, looks even more like a sickly sad beauty gazing at the moon like some painting.

Sad ideas time: when Shen Yuan transmigrates, so does his sickness. When Mu Qingfang inspects him pts Qi deviation, he discovers most of SQQ's cultivation is focused on suppressing a terminal illness, and must have been for a while. all he and YQY can think is that SQQ knew and has been hiding it purpose for... Well, basically as long as they have been peak lords, if not longer.

TRULY SAD TIMES!!!

For bonus sad times, Shen Yuan has some illness (like cancer) that causes him to bruise like a peach. With this "qi deviation" and the sudden appearance of all these bruises, Mu Qingfang and Yue Qingyuan assume that some sort of talisman illusion just failed because there's no way for all these bruises to appear in front of their eyes all of a sudden! Shen Qingqiu must have been concealing them!

Mu Qingfang says that this type of illness is triggered by [insert rare life situation that Yue Qingyuan's brain can't help but connect to the Qiu Manor and slavery]. The goods news is that Mu Qingfang has medication to control the disease; the bad news is that the cure is extremely rare and involves an ultra rare ingredient that's presumably extinct by now totally not heavenly demon liquid gold.

Scum Villain x Pokemon AU

I didn’t realize I had strong opinions on this until the exact moment I realized I had an opinion at all. I didn’t even have to think about it.

Mobei-Jun: A distant and unfriendly Articuno, passed down from his father and through the family line for generations. Also a very prissy and VERY pampered Glaceon, his since childhood. 

Linguang-Jun: A Slowking and a Cherrim (there’s some whispered gossip that the Cherrim had something to do with MBJ’s mother, but what exactly—was it formerly hers? An intended betrothal gift?—no one knows or will say).

Shang Qinghua: A veritable menagerie. As a kid and young disciple, he had a Bidoof. But after it died (of natural causes; they don’t live that long) he was gifted a Delibird by the then-An Ding Peak Lord as congratulations for becoming Head Disciple. He also received a Seel from Mobei-Jun at some point, and later a Jigglypuff from MQF, who thought SQH was getting overworked and could use the sleep aid (SQH: “Why do people keep giving me Pokemon?!?”). 

Mu Qingfang: The obligatory Chansey, but also an Ekans.

Shen Jiu: A Cubone (“How appropriate,” people had sneered when they saw).

Shen Qingqiu: At first, a Marowak (“How... odd,” people had wondered when they saw). When Shen Yuan came on the scene, Marowak immediately knew this wasn’t its SQQ, and wanted nothing to do with him. Eventually it left, and no one ever saw it again. SY as SQQ eventually acquired a very cute Chimecho that had been living in his bamboo grove.

Luo Binghe: Pre-Abyss, a Poochyena. Post-Abyss, a Houndoom (he never talks about what happened to his Poochyena).

Liu Qingge: A Farfetch’d. But when he goes on hunts, the same wild Zangoose sometimes tracks him down and accompanies him, although it never follows him back to the Peak. 

Yue Qingyuan: A Linoone (although some people claim to have seen Lugia at his side when he battled TLJ).

Tianlang-Jun: Entei. Also a Totodile for some reason. 

Zhuzhi-lang: A snake Pokemon, right? Wrong. A Breloom. 

Sha Hualing: A Salazzle.
