hi kit!! i love ur 'oscar is just raikkonen with a button nose' thing, i went insane abt it the first time i read it from u, but i think specifically in terms of team trajectory theres smth that deffo sets them apart. in the sense of like yes in the car theres this sort of zen detachment thats part supercool part creepy and chilling from both of them but one thing thats never left my mind abt raikkonen (as a member of a team, god knows i dont wanna talk abt him as a person) was that one time he couldn't name more than like. 7 people at alfa romeo after being there for 2 years. so like what i mean to say is i think oscar does have more of a human / empathetic side to him that raikkonen lacks (which in general is a good thing n will make him easier to work with) but also it means he Does get attached. and w the way hes been talking abt mclaren (how much he likes 'being wanted' and being appreciated etc) i think team loyalty / a team's treatment of him etc will b a bigger factor in his decision making in the possibility that he has to choose between two seats. which probably does not rival lando's 'im a thoroughly unsentimental person but i have somehow become inextricable from mclaren and like nuclear catastrophe has to happen for me to move teams' thing but yk. id b curious to see how it all plays out

I have always wondered if his ribbon was meant to represent the old one even though it wouldn't exist by the time he was created, he is shubiya incarnate, after all, and the original signage and branding for shibuya was was iconic.

I wonder if any of the other charas have design elements like this in their appearance tbh. A lot of their character design goes into their personal characterization but other than Ramu I think Sasara is the only other chara to have callbacks to his division in his design 🤔🤔 I say this cause my personal headcanon is that Sasara’s dark/light green hair is reminiscent of the roofing to the Osaka castle structure.

I almost put Alternative Rap Battle (another iconic All Stars song that absolutely slaps) before I remembered this masterpiece exists and shit, this is just the iconic song for me.

Hang out is just full of little details that make me go feral. Like it already starts crazy with Buster Bros but then MTC rolls in and you just go for one hell of a ride because WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS POSSESSED JYUTO PART LIKE WHAT-

I swear that is the best Jyuto part in all of the All Stars songs. Unbeatable. Even though Alternative Rap Battle with the iconic MESSOU MO NAAAI is up there.

Hang out is just crazy after crazy after crazy. The way Gentaro follows along with the melody in his part?? The little iconic stuff Hifumi does with that whiny ass voice (so fun to sing oh my god)?? But most of all the little yogi~ru nouri~ at the end of Sasara's part followed by the suddenly loud as fuck Rosho going APPUDEETO. That just sends me every time. Hang out best song.

It's just a funky lil song, less chunky than usual, and just makes you feel good and kind of spooked because damn chill out Jyuto lemme call an exorcist real quick. Much love :)

Mini Theatre Review - SUNDAY at the MTC is one helluva play with a stunning performance from Nikki Shiels as Sunday Reed. I doubt if I will see a better acting performance this year in Melbourne. Actually every one is terrific including Matt Day as John Reed and Josh Mcconville as Sidney Nolan. The show is 3 hours long but acting and writing is so strong that I didn’t notice the time. The play is said to be in the style of something like David Hare’s Plenty. But it felt, particularly in the second act, like an Aussie version of O’Neil’s Long Day’s Journey into Night. Only with a handful of performers, five performers. If you have an interest in Australian art (Nolan’s iconic Ned Kelly series) and great acting (I mean GREAT acting, thanks Nikki) and Theatre like it suppose to be… Challenging and at times unsettling but in the end rewarding! Then this is a must-see show set in Heide about an unconventional threesome. Overview Of The Ferrari 488 High-Performance Car

The 488 was a landmark vehicle since it was the first mid-engine turbocharged Ferrari since the iconic F40. While the reasons for returning to forced induction range from technological advancement to environmental laws, it is undeniably a positive change.

The performance potential of forced induction vastly increases the performance potential of any engine. In addition, you can expect a lot of aftermarket Ferrari performance parts with revised variants of this engine (Ferrari F154 CB/CD/CG) utilized in the Pista and F8.

There was an evident need for enhanced cooling systems with numerous settings available for the Ferrari 488/Pista/F8. High Intake Air Temperatures (IATs) produced by turbos that already provide roughly 35 PSI of boost from the factory has been a major limiting factor in tuning. 

As a result, many Ferrari owners and tuners have been anticipating the release of the world's first high-performance intercooler for the 488/Pista/F8. MTC Motorsport has built a reputation for making some of the best performance solutions on the market, like the Ferrari 488 hoses

MTC Motorsport's intercooler systems have proven highly successful and popular for vehicles such as the Porsche, Lamborghini, and Audi RS3. Given its track record, it has collaborated to provide the most modern cooling technology to the Ferrari market.

With higher boost levels, the Ferrari 488 has a lot of untapped power that can be unleashed. That is if the excess heat can be controlled. While the engine is already susceptible to heat soak power loss under intense driving, any additional boost merely exacerbates the problem.

Engineering & Design Of Ferrari 488

The Ferrari 488 Intercoolers have been meticulously developed and built to fit precisely like the OEM units they replace. For a genuine "drop-in fitment," the installation uses all of the factory mounting points, shrouds, and fans. 

There is no need for any cutting or other changes. Like the factory units, Ferrari 488 hoses by MTC Motorsport add high-density foam to seal the space around the intercoolers. One of the difficulties in building a simple drop-in system is the size constraints. 

While most aftermarket intercoolers improve efficiency by increasing size, the MTC Motorsport Intercoolers rely on an incredibly efficient core. MTC makes and employs these same cores in the intercoolers it provides to most Formula One race teams.

Core Technology For Intercoolers

MTC Motorsport custom builds the intercooler cores. These cores, which have two rows of rolling cooling tubes with inner fins, make for the most efficient intercoolers. As a result, they may eliminate heat soak and lower IATs far more effectively than classic Tube & Fin designs. 

It provides us with maximum performance over long periods in hard driving situations and for vehicles with greater power levels due to upgrades and tuning. The Ferrari F154 is a wonder of engineering (testing was performed on the 488, but results will be similar for the Pista & F8). 

Getting 660 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque out of a 3.9L engine is no easy task and requires roughly 35 pounds of boost. Even with the high-efficiency twin-scroll turbos, a tremendous quantity of heat is generated. The air exiting the turbos can reach temperatures well over 200°F. 

While the factory intercoolers do an excellent job of lowering temperatures before they enter the engine, the ECU still pulls engine timing and severely reduces power output. Ferrari performance car parts solve this problem, allowing the engine to run at peak performance.

Conclusion

Throughout the RPM range, performance gains are significant. The test car was outfitted with Ferrari performance car parts Down-Pipes, Pure Turbos, and M-Engineering tuning. The advantages of simply installing the intercoolers yielded considerable gains.

The greatest benefits are noticed at the highest boost levels, where the turbos produce the most heat. While the advantages will be more visible on a modified 488/Pista/F8, they will still be significant even in standard form.
