Tackling the expert slop at high intensity. Unfortunately though there was no bad weather in sight so they did not complete the last requirement of the Extreme Sports Enthusiast aspiration. However, they did max their skiing skill!

Final Summary: I thoroughly enjoyed the trip to Mt Komorebi! I've played there with other sims so I knew what to expect. It can be so peaceful and relaxing, but on the other hand very intense with the skiing and rock climbing.

They made three attempts to climb to the highest peak of Mt Komorebi. A few times I ran out of time and was focused on the tasks and didn't realise in some parts you only have to complete a few tasks and can then 'move on' up the mountain. After the 2nd attempt I had them read for ages and skill up on rock climbing because that is what was causing them to have injuries. Alonso reached L8 and Celeste reached L9. Celeste ended up being the team leader on the climb. 🦸‍♀️

I extended their stay a couple of times in the hope for bad weather so they could complete their second aspiration but it was too late and I wasn't about to put them (and me) through another winter.

They both received the Mountaineer trait (Celeste-Expert, Alonso-Middling) and also gained the Frequent Traveller lifestyle. Alonso maxed his fitness skill and completed his bodybuilder aspiration 💪 during their trip, he received the Long Lived trait.

We had decided to just let things happen naturally after the wedding, and it didn’t take long until I was pregnant.

We were both overjoyed, and our roommates were excited for us. Griffin immediately started changing our weekly meal plans around the nutritional requirements of pregnant women.

I asked if he was sure he still wanted to be a surgeon and not become a nutritionist instead, but he laughed it off.

“Freya, don’t be silly. You can do more than one thing with your life! Just look at Daria. Would you tell her to choose whether she wants to only do programming or podcasting or animal rights activism?”

“You know I’d never dare tell Daria what to do, but I honestly don’t understand how she finds the time.”

“Exactly, priorities!” Griffin looked at me like he’d just won the discussion and went back to his meal planning.

I thought about it. Sports had always taken up most of my time, and the rest I spent with friends and family. I didn’t really have any other interests, unless you counted reading a book or watching a movie. Griffin had his cooking, Daria seemed to be doing all the things, and even Jessica had a fashion blog.

At least Samuel was more like me, we both tended to focus on our careers and family. He wanted to specialise in paediatrics, he really loved working with children.

He was so excited about becoming a father. He kept flipping between ‘doctor mode’, spewing random facts about child development and asking me how I was feeling, and ‘dad mode’ where he obsessed about names and insisted on talking to my belly in silly voices.

It was pretty adorable. I couldn’t wait for us to finally meet our baby. We were going to be the best parents ever, together.

Nothing like my own parents.

I wasn’t even three years old when they split up. My father then proceeded to spend almost five years drinking and whoring his way through a pretty miserable existence.

Still, most of my memories of him back then were good. Even though he was troubled, he was always so happy to see me, and he always came to my games or picked me up from practice.

I remembered our trip to Mt. Komorebi vividly. The snowboarding had been amazing, and I loved spending time with my dad.

But then I had woken up from a nightmare in the big, dark, and unfamiliar house. I had felt very alone.

I was used to living by the harbour with my mother, used to the constant noise outside.

Here, the thick snow blanketed everything and it was eerily quiet.

I couldn’t remember how to turn on the lights, so I stumbled into the dark hallway, blinded by tears, only vaguely certain of where my dad’s bedroom was.

He wasn’t there.

It wasn’t the first time in my life that I’d gone to his bedroom to find it empty, but at home, it just meant that he was downstairs watching TV, or had fallen asleep on the couch with Cooper snuggled up next to him. Here, there was no sound of a TV or any light anywhere. The house felt completely deserted.

I knew I wasn’t really alone, my grandparents were in their bedroom somewhere downstairs, but I was afraid to go down there. I didn’t even want to go back into the dark hall.

I curled up on the big, empty bed. Surely, my dad would come. He had to sleep sooner or later.

I don’t remember crying myself to sleep, but I remember waking up.

My dad had been there, moisture still in his hair, fresh from a shower. With the smell of toothpaste and only the faintest hint of alcohol left on his breath.

I always hated that particular combination of smells.

He’d promised never to leave me again, and he hadn’t. Much later, I learned that he had started therapy as soon as we got home, and as far as I knew, he hadn’t touched alcohol for over fifteen years now. But I still remembered the smell.

I put my hands protectively on my growing belly.

“I’m going to do a better job than they did, no matter what it takes”, I whispered.

Surprisingly enough, Katia didn't die before age and actually managed to complete her gen with flying colors. I spent more time with her than any other sim of the legacy (curse you, rock climbing skill and golden simmi collection), but she was really fun to play with. But not it's time to head to greener pastures *ba-dum tss*

Whenever Aiden feels himself getting anxious, he'll go downstairs and do laps in the pool or work out at the gym in the building. Unfortunately keeping himself fit hasn't helped him have any confidence in the way his body looks.

There's enough going on this weekend that Aiden has a good excuse for his anxiety. Midterms, Jake's last game of the season, then Prom. At least he's fairly confident about Midterms.

Aiden completed all his prep for the tests so he thinks he's in a good place! After classes, one of his teachers stops him in the hall and explains that with his grades maybe he should think about graduating early. Hard 'no' from Aiden.

No way is he missing the Mt Komorebi trip.

The challenge is to get to the ten gen to solve the family mystery

Roll a dice to decide how many children to have or decide yourself

Roll a dice to decide if you play with short or normal life span or decide yourself

Each gen to start with 1500 Simoleans (from gen two)

Each gen to be a single parent after children are born, get created with how the accident happen to your partner, it’s a curse remember

Each gen to live on a different lot and world

If all your sims died in the household, you fail the challenge

Story Background

The urban legend regarding the family is unknown as this goes back to there ancestors. The family are aware of the curse due to all the mysterious deaths, but you don’t know why? All each gen wants in life is love and happiness, but everything keeps going wrong with all these mysterious deaths.

Gen One – The alone teen

Start by living in Moonwood Mill in a cheap abandon home using free real estate (get abandon home of the gallery) The home is to have the very minimum items as you’re a teen and both your parents died in an accident. Have a cheap furniture and PC, you can upgrade the items using handiness skills You make money doing odd jobs and drop out of high school, you meet you partner as a young adult in a bar

Komorebi, after a few visit your pen pal invite you to be a roommate (to do this, keep a note of how much you have and deduct a week amount for rent). You start writing books of your travels and publishing them to make money.

You love taking the family camping and being one with nature and collecting bugs.

You find out to cure the family curse you need to solve the town mystery.

Let me introduce you to my two main sims, Brittnie (my simself) and Ezra Medicci! They are a celebrity couple. Ezra is a celebrity chef and Brittnie is a simfluencer, author, and now business mogul w/ the launch of her new cosmetics line, Medicci Cosmetics.

Ezra and Brittnie's past and how they met was a little... "shady".. They were both married to other people when they met. Ezra was actually best friends w/ Britt's NOW ex-husband, Mel and likewise, Britt was good friends w/ Ezra's ex-wife, Briella. It all started when they went on a couple's retreat in Mt. Komorebi. They had all been getting along well and having a blast on the slopes. One night, after a few too many drinks at dinner, they all had the bright idea to have a f*ursome... Yep, you read that right.

Well, when it came time for Britt and Ezra to be intimate... let's just say the experience made them look at each other in a different light. The rest of that trip was a little awkward for them. While Mel and Briella went about their days during the trip completely un-phased, Ezra and Britt were dealing with these growing feelings for each other and not knowing what to do about it.

Weeks after the trip, they tried avoiding each other and working on trying to strengthen their marriages but, things just went from bad to worse. Ezra discovered his wife was already cheating on him with another man from the very beginning of their marriage, which made sense because she never really made time for him. As for Brittnie and Mel, they were ok, but little arguments tended to happen more frequently and lasted for days on end.

Britt struggled to keep her marriage afloat, but with their ever growing distance and Ezra's persistence of perusing her, she gave in to what she truly desired and that was being w/ the man she discovered was truly her soulmate, Ezra Niccoli Medicci.

Now, you've gotten a glimpse into how these two got together and why they are so madly in love with each other. I'll be posting story updates here and being more active on here. Until then, Happy Simming!

Alexia had been practicing her rock climbing with Naoki and Megumi Ito lately. The pair had become her close friends since the days she had shown up in Wakaba. Naoki decided it would be a memorable event to take Alexia up to the peak, and off they went late one afternoon.

The trip was long, but nice.They stopped to have a snow pal building contest half way up, and had lunch when the wind stopped howling long enough to relax. They reached the peak later that evening and celebrated with pictures so Alexia would have some tangible memories of her climb.

Things did not go well once the family came back from Mt. Komorebi. Cecilia got herself two boyfriends and left often to go see them. She and Galen were arguing non-stop because he had no idea what she was up to. The transition from what he felt was a really loving and harmonious marriage to constant arguing sent Galen into a mid-life crisis that left him completely out of sorts and burnt out. The farm fell into disrepair but Skye and Kai tried to take care of what they could. Four animals ran away.

Galen caught Cecilia cheating and the twins left to their own devices took out their frustrations out on each other: teasing, turned into bickering, which turned into full on yelling matches. While Galen initially wanted to move past the cheating. He couldn't and decided to divorce Cecilia. While Cecilia is eager to leave Henford-on-bagley unattached, they are both worried about Skye and Kai so she will be staying in the house until after their birthday trip to Mt. Komorebi once again.

Galen is heartbroken. I don't think he could've ever imagined this happening. He misses his brothers and mom and really hates that he will have to navigate this alone. Moving to a new save is hard.

First steps forward

Before he left Mt Komorebi completely, Kenta made sure to go and grab his High School Diploma. It's not because it wasn't one of the best eras of his life that he shouldn't celebrate his wins, after all.

It filled him with joy and pride. And most importantly, it gave him the feeling that he could do anything. Even set off for the mountains on his own, with nothing more than a tent and a bag of clothes.

Of course, when he finally arrived in Granite Falls, after a full day of traveling, he found... rain. The worst start to a camping trip...

And yet, even in the rain, Kenta manages to see some greatness to this place already.

He crosses path with a bear and instead of being scared, somehow, it helps him understand how not to get wet in this weather. He's a crafty one, our Kenta.

The rain slows down as he gets to the closest toilets, and with that, annoying bugs remind him that life in the woods isn't as cosy as people think.

At least, he knows how to set up camp and he even changes into comfier clothes when he can some peace and quiet in his tent. After what he calls home to update everyone on his situation and reassure his family, and himself.

He goes to bed that night appreciating the smell of the trees around him, the noises that the animals around make and the stillness of his tent, in the forest, in his element.

Makayla has finally graduated
