i couldn't think of enough msyme characters to start on the first... so second it is ! starting with unknown, ending with [GE] saeran, because i thought it would be nice to kind of follow how his route is the last you're expected to, while unknown is the first character you meet? these won't be long aa, i usually dont do anything for valentines day i am simply feeling romantic this year

Did you expect something more? A phone call? An anonymous love letter? You questioned yourself as you stared down the text from the mysterious hacker, wondering if Seven would be annoyed if he ever found you you frequently contacted the hacker and never breathed a word to anyone else. You didn't really talk much, and he didn't really reply whenever you did - but he'd made it pretty clear pretty quickly that he was observing you. Somehow. Somewhere. You'd gotten into the habit of smiling at security cameras as you passed by, and at least twice you'd gotten a swift ding of a text message reply. Sometimes nothing more then a ':)'.

Strangely enough… it made you feel safe. That was weird, wasn't it? Surely knowing some unknown hacker was following your every move would usually fill you with a paralyzing fear - not make you smile silly to yourself.

Of course there was no reply from your message back, the message you were looking at was five hours old already - you knew by now that mean you wouldn't be getting a reply. It was alright though, even the smallest sign of anything from him was enough. You put your phone away as you opened the door to Rika's apartment (seriously, how much longer would you have to stay in this place? Why do you even have to stay here in the first place?). It was always cold, but for some reason it felt even chillier today, as though you were still outside in the grey February skies. You wondered how she'd managed to cope spending every night and day here - did she just spend most her days at V's?

You didn't dare to touch anything, but you were also hyper away of everything around you. So you knew there were no flowers at all at any point in your stay, let alone clearly fresh and real light pink carnations that had been oh-so-delicately placed in a glass vase. In fact, you think even the vase was new.

And... some money? Another note - 'i had to break the window to get in lol, this is for the repair'. Oh. It explained the draft at least, but didn't stop you sighed loudly - he knew the password, this was just to mess with you. Make it 'less sappy' you guessed.

Your phone dinged with another message, you suspected he was watching from the hallway cameras. 'hope you like them... :)'

Vampire fever finally caught me, but as always my mind chooses the path of angst—

And by angst I mean SE Saeran, of course.

So how would my favorite vampire deal with the mixture of guilt and bloodlust? Would he starve himself? Would he absolutely refuse to bite his partner again, even when they implore him to do so because it hurts them to see him suffer like that? I'm so, SO curious.

At first, he tried to starve himself.

Saeran's self-destructive tendencies are in full-swing.

He wants to destroy himself because he sees no purpose in going on from where he stands. Depending on what happened when he was rescued from that situation he was in, if you were the one to get hurt in the line of fire instead of Jihyun—that would break him.

I imagine he would have built up an image of you in his head, one that imagined you to be indestructible because no matter what he did in a moment of impulse, you would never break. Even if you were human and that meant you could be destroyed, you never felt, so in his head, it almost felt as though nothing could get rid of you, not even him. 

If you got hurt... if he nearly drained you dry... if he hurt your body with any capacity of his brute force?

Well, he would blame himself for it.

You deserve better than the devastation and destruction he brings everywhere he goes. You brought kindness into his world when he didn't know it and even if he didn't deserve it, you still gave it to him readily and he never wanted to put you in a position that would get you hurt. The only reason why he took you was because your blood was so strong, so sweet, and meant for him. 

You were meant to be together, that's what he thought, but after seeing you laying in a pool of your own blood, that would make him want to leave you behind because why would you ever want to be with a damned soul that could kill you at any moment? 

You don't deserve to be damned... to be a monster... to destroy everything you hold dear in a fit of blood lust you can't control. God, he nearly took you away from this world... why would you want to go back into his arms? Get away from him! That's what he screams if you try to come close to him. Get so far away that you can have a normal mortal life!

He can't bear the idea of having been the one to kill you. He can't stomach it.

If he had a stomach, all of its contents would've been expelled the minute he thought about what it would feel like to be the one who killed you.

Saeyoung would have to force blood bags down his throat to keep him alive. That's how bad it would get. But, considering Saeyoung's actions in the canon universe, he already had to be on guard with every attempt Saeran made against his life. This is no different. No glass this time, just blood bags he pays someone off for to ensure his brother is taken care of... since he's afraid of trusting Jumin's offer on the off chance Saejoong thinks something about that when he goes looking.

I imagine that he wouldn't allow himself to feed from you. Even if it was an incredibly desperate situation, he would go out of his way to find something else or just get rid of himself because if it comes between your safety and him becoming a monster, he would rather get rid of himself than have you get hurt again.

It's the same reason why he keeps the tattoo after everything that happened, it is a reminder of what he did and what he was, and as long as it's with him, he can never forget. If he never forgets, then he will always be conscious of his actions. 

He is trying everything in his power to make sure it never happens again, and it is definitely not healthy but it's the only way he knows how to cope with his situation. That's not to say that he doesn't miss the sensation that comes with the intimacy of sharing that moment with you, he does, but to him, it's just... not worth the risk of losing you. 

That is something he's terrified of. 

But, there is a chance... a very small one... that he might let himself drink your blood again. It'll come down to a heated conversation at his worst when he's denying blood bags, and Saeyoung is at his wits end. Obviously, he doesn't want to hurt you, but your blood... the way it works in this universe... it tastes better than any blood... it gives his body the power he needs... way faster than any other blood he takes in.

He will try everything to push you away, but you'll offer your arm up and no matter how much he wants to push it away, you'll keep it in front of him. You were always like that. Even at his worst, you thought about what he needed to survive instead of what you did. It's not a good look for you, but at the same time, he can't deny that kindness in your eyes always made him feel good. 

"Saeran, I want you to take my blood, okay? You're not going to hurt me."

"I could."

"You won't."

"I could."

"But, you won't. Saeyoung's standing outside if that's what you're afraid of. I know you better than that, Saeran, and I know you won't do anything to put me in danger. But if you're so afraid of something going wrong, the minute I make a noise that sounds wrong, he'll stop you. You can't keep denying yourself what you need to survive."

"I can get other—"

"We both know my blood is what your body needs, Saeran. We both know the difference between what happens when you get something for me and when you get it from somewhere else. It's day and night. Let me do this for you. You're not manipulating me to do it, I want to do it."

"...You're insane."

"No, I just love you."

I'm so glad that I managed to finish the picture in time. It took a really long time and I was afraid that I would not be able to upload until tomorrow. But here is the picture. My latest msyme picture from this year. I hope you like it.

For those of you who were wondering what happens after you reach Day 200 with Teo.

1.) For some weird reason it still does count the days. So I'm on Day 201 now but I can't chat with him (of course). I wonder if it's going to continue counting the days. (I will update you!) If it does I'm a little worried that it may mess up our timeline later on when they release the next batch of days. Let's say I'm on Day 250 by then, will I miss the chats/calls from Day 201 till 249? Only time will tell but I'm curious. I'm kind of expecting a bug at least, haha.

2.) When you login the day after Day 200 you will receive a time machine ticket for free. You can use it to travel back to Day 1 and start all over again if you feel like it. Please remember to only travel during waketime if you don't want to miss any content! Or just save the ticket for some time later.

I haven't decided yet if I want to start over with Teo. Since I'm missing the waketime and breakfast chats for Day 1 and Day 2 it's actually not a bad idea. It also gives me the opportunity to make different choices and experience different branches of the story (like when Teo's going on date with you or asks you which part time job he should do). I wonder what happens to your milky way calendar in this case. Will it safe all the choices you ever made in the route so you can pick different options when replaying the chats (like in Msyme if you know what I mean)?

I will let a few days pass in order to see if the day count goes up when not accessing Teo's route and I will probably restart his route just to see what happens to my milky way calendar and to reduce my withdrawal symptoms.

Oh, he'd promised to visit you in the afternoon. Early enough for the day to still hold hours left of sunlight, but late enough that by the ending of your time together he could walk you back to your room in the evening sunset, let you be covered with the orange and red hues of the sky itself. But he couldn't resist, not when he had time spare - and you'd told him it was fine for him to visit any time, hadn't you? So... you would find this okay, right?

He watches your sleeping frame, the steady rise and fall of your chest under the soft silk pijamas he'd picked out specially for you, the lace suited you perfectly in his eyes. He leaned down to pull the floral bed sheets higher up on you, tucking you comfortably under them to ensure your warmth. He paused there, his hand slowly making it's way up to your cheek and brushing against your soft skin. For a second he regretted wearing gloves, his heart aching to feel your skin more clearly under his fingers. His head lowered to a breath away from your face.

"I would do anything for you, my prince/ss." And he would- truly anything. He'd never made such a declaration from his own choice, even he had to admit the Saviour had enforced his loyalty. But you didn't. You never did. You only treated him with soft kindness, never expecting a word in reply, loving him for the sake of loving him - and what sweet bliss it was to be so treasured by the one you treasure the most. And how dangerous it was, the idea that you held almost total control over him, a word from you and he'd obey without question - yet he never feared your innocent requests the way he did Ri- the saviours.

He allowed himself the soft satisfaction of pressing a kiss against your face, brushing your hair out of the way beforehand and holding his lips there for a second longer then he intended to. He drew back to catch your subconscious smile at his movements, and he felt himself smile in return without meaning to.

He should go. Rest for an hour and finish his work before your meeting. he should pull himself away from your peaceful expression and his mind filled with thoughts of you. But... it was Valentine's day, she'd understand if he stayed with you a little longer, wouldn't she?

An angsty reset theory Saeran Fic (:

About: Saeran remembers the reset, after you saved him. And he remembers how much he loves you after you chose his brother's route again.

(Saeyoung x Reader) but from Saeran's point of view.

He was finally in control of his life. With your help, he had left the horrible cult, and out of the blondes control, he was free to become himself, to finally have the option to choose. He had never had the decision to choose, all decisions were made for him, until you came. He didn’t think bringing you to the cult as a spy was a good idea, he could have done it himself,but he chose you. The first choice he had made,the one to bring you to him, was the decision that ultimately saved his life.

He was no longer under control. He could finally eat normally. It takes a long time for him to actually eat more than a few snacks a day. It takes even longer for him to begin eating three full meals a day. But staying by his side through it all was the motivation he needed. Without you, he wouldn't have gotten any better, without your help, he would have forgotten how to smile.

During your stay at Mint Eye, at first he had to pretend to smile. You were just here to complete a task after all, But after the first few days, he realized he wasn’t faking his smiles anymore. And a few days later, he was smiling even when you weren’t near, just at the mere thought of you. It wasn’t something that went unnoticed by those around him.

When you kissed him in the gardens, he was beyond words or emotions. Far beyond. Every coherent thought he had, was erased by the feeling of your lips against his own. Every single thought that filled his head from that time was the feel of the kiss. Even after being dosed with the elixir, the thought of the kiss in his head constantly infuriated him, because he didn’t want to admit to how much it affected him.

You stuck right beside him when he didn’t deserve it. He had said countless mean things to you, horrendous things, and yet you stayed. You stayed right there and tried to fix him. He apologized every day since, and will continue to attempt to make it up until the day he dies.

You stayed when they found out about his brother. You stayed and helped him save his brother. He was prepared to sacrifice everything to keep you safe, but then you came back and saved him yet again. He would spend eternity making it up to you. Making sure you were happy and safe, because you saved and helped him and his brother get happy endings. And he couldn’t do it without you. So he would make sure you knew how appreciated you were.

His favorite part of the morning was waking with you by his side. That’s all Saeran could ever ask for. The soft breeze flowing through the room through the partly open window. Springtime seemed right around the corner, the fresh scent of rain from the night time present, and the faint scent of the blooming flowers in the garden behind the small home. It was the dream he had always wished for.

But that's all it would be. A dream.

He could feel his brother shaking his arm, jolting the white haired male out of his trance.

“Huh?” He grumbles, causing the redheaded twin to gasp dramatically and pull back, pretending to act concerned

“Saeran? So cold! I’m just trying to tell my darling brother some news!”

“What?” he grumbles.

“Well, the bride of the evening has been looking for you all night. Says she wants a dance and sent me to find you-” At Saeyoung’s words, Saeran can feel his cheeks heat up.

“She-She wants to dance with me?”

“Of course she wants to dance with you. You’re important to her. She loves you”

“I-yeah- okay.” He takes a breath, attempting to calm his racing heart. “I’ll go and find her then-”

At his words, Saeran stand s from his spot at the table, trying to find the bride of the party. When he finally spots the large white dress, he heads towards her, freezing when he sees her again. The lights in the venue made her stand out more, the flawless makeup look, the way she looked in her dress, everything. He was enamored by her completely.

When she noticed him, she eagerly made her way over to him, a bright smile on her face.

“Saeran! I missed you! I haven’t seen you since the ceremony!” (Y/N) says,

“Sorry, Saeyoung had-”

“No its okay! I’m just glad you’re here still! Come on, you owe me a dance- as my brother-in-law!” she smiles, pulling him to the dance floor.

He wanted this ending with you. He wanted to be the one you married. You had saved him, after those eleven days, and even the four after that, and then you found the reset button, going back to the start. But he never forgot like the rest of them did. He tried to mess with the system, to bring you back to him, but he couldnt break the games codes. So he had to watch as you fell for his brother and rescued him.

But you still haven't hit the reset button. It has been past the eleven days. And you still hadn’t hit the button. You weren’t coming back to him. You weren’t going to save him this time.

At least he has his dreams, where you chose to stay with him.
