Feature Review: #Openfeint Challenges

We're going to take a look at one of the unsung features that Openfeint has to offer, challenges!

If you don't know, Openfeint challenges allow you to compete in a nice game of "Beat My Score" or "Beat My Time" and then lets you say, "Suck it, you suck, sux0rs!"

So if you're into that kind of stuff, oh boy you'll have fun!  I'm going to show you a great game that uses challenges, Mad Skills Motocross by Turborilla.

Let's assume your friend has just sent you a challenge, you'll get a notification in your Openfeint dashboard/profile and it should look something like this:

So you'd probably be saying to yourself, "I can totally beat this time" so you hit the "Play Challenge" button.  What happens next is of magical proportions...

Say WHAT?!?!? Yes....you can choose to straight up race the track OR you can WATCH how your opponent raced the track.  (It's like advanced scouting in baseball)  Use this to see where you can do better or to see how that person got so good a time.

Since I'm such a l33t gamer, it only took me one try to beat my opponent's time and here are the results:

As you can see, once you beat your opponent's score you can send them a message with your smack talk and then send the challenge to them!  I have a proclivity to music related taunts so challenge me if you dare!

Start playing Mad Skills MX now to race and challenge your friends or find challenges in your favorite Openfeint games (if your favorite game doesn't have challenges, write to them asking them to add it in!)
