Home:

Paint craft room closet doors-❌

New tank for the Lizard of Oz- ✅

Personal:

Grow out my hair, no dying or cutting it-❌ Hair is about 2 inches long rn, navy blue hair has been so cute!

Study 30 minutes a day about spirituality-

Go to two workshops- ❌

Go to the observatory- ❌

Fitness:

30 minutes to one hour of exercise per day, 5-6 times a week- no, got a new physio routine and I'm working on a proper workout routine ❌

Aim for 10k steps a day- no❌

Learn to rollerskate- n❌

Explore two new hiking trails- ✅ Done!!!! Went on a different route at Mission Marsh Conservatory and also visited the updated Mount McKay mountain top area!

Hobbies:

Sewing- Sewing machine is FIXED!!! Combing these next year for my Hobbit colour patchwork dress ~

Sew one spring/summer dress, bell sleeve 60s swing style dress-not yet, maybe not, maybe this winter! Cut out pattern, gotta get fabric ❌

Use up fabric stash with various projects or one big patchwork project-not yet, I've sorted my fabrics!❌

Celebrated 9 years of living with my husband!

Got the hubby a couple new video games for his birthday!

Tried Dom Perignon champagne, obvi played the TS lyric as he came to see the bottle hehe rick roll my hubby with one of my fav artists hehehehe

I've seen it. The edits are very impressive and the whole production shows how much effort has been put into it. Credit were credit is due. But its humor is not my cup of tea. Vulgarities are a dealbreaker for me, so I pass.

I like my parodies clean which is why I've only warmed up to the original, YGOTAS. Sorry.

There was one other group by the way who tried to do an abridged series of GW on Youtube, called "Gundam Wing the Abridge-ning". Production quality is poorer and similar jokes appear but I find their take on Zechs funnier. By and large not my cup of tea again though.

But someone less prudish than me might enjoy it.

Anyone out there other than me notice that Lotor looks very much like Treize and Zech’s love child from Gundam Wing?

Something I’ve recently noticed after rewatching part of Gundam wing then watching Voltron again, there’s a lot, and I mean a LOT of references to the 1995 Gundam series. While most are blink and you’ll miss them refrences, one thing kept standing out to me: Lotor. 

I kept saying I’ve seen his face and looks before, but I didn’t know where at first, and that changed when I re watched Gundam wing. 

In the series there are two main conflicting people that cause the most issue for the team of Pilots in Wing. The first being Earth Federation leader Treize Khushrenada, who was known for his noble beliefs but seemed to be hell bent on keeping the Colony worlds under his rule.

And  Milliardo Peacecraft, or as he is known as under his alias, Zechs Merquise, the son of a Earth noble who was friends and went to school with Trez, only to wind up believing that the only way out of under the hands of the Earth Federation was by the Colonies waging a war. 

The weird thing is that, the more I look at the two of them side by side the more I think that Lotor’s new look gained some inspiration from these two warring individuals

It’s kind of uncanny in a way how much he seems to physically look like these two, and oddly enough the merging of their personalities can equate to what we know so far about Lotor. He can be ruthless, but he’s not without reason. He’s willing to make a big show for getting stuff that he needs, but he’s sly about stuff behind the scenes.  It’s also interesting that the uniform that he wears takes visual cues from both men.

Treize’s seems to have the long coat and some of the cut of the boots. 

Mean while Zechs seems to have the style of the front part and the shoulder pads

so please tell me I’m not the only one thinking that there’s some Gundam Wing Influence going on in this show. I mean, hell you can argue that Keith is the Hero of the series with a lot of Quatre’s insecurities thrown in there for good measure.
