I am just… I am speechless. There is a place in my heart that aches and exults in equal measure, and I am so, so happy I decided to go on a fic binge today. I am a total sucker for reincarnation fics and soulmate fics and you have taken this idea and dressed it in such beautiful prose and I am trying my best to not cry like a freaking baby because these two. These fucking two. “James Barnes is destined to love Steve Rogers.” Fucking amen to that. I adore the easy relationship between Bucky and Peggy once he realizes who he really is, this playful kind if banter mixed with a grief that is same-but-different.

The thing I love about fanfic, and that I love avout this one, is the way it can make reading it a multimodal experience. It’s a written story, but there are tweets, there are excerpts from papers and journals and it feels so real and so obvious because this is how we interact in the world and I’m just.
