One interesting detail amuses me in the cartoon Animal Farm. Of all the farmers, only Mr. Jones has green skin from drinking. And judging by this picture from Mr. Jones's bedroom, he started drinking a long time ago.

This guy doesn't even remember the last time he was sober...

(Or just green skin = villain)

my biggest question about Mr. Jones actually and one that wasn't addressed adequately in the podcast is the lyric "I wanna be Bob Dylan / Mr. Jones wishes he were someone just a little more funky". this has always puzzled me because Bob Dylan is very funky to me. to me funkiness is sort of a hippie vibe, unless we're talking about Funk the music genre, but I don't think we are. but I'm not sure what the protagonist means by "funky" in this context. I assume the counting crows are probably all Gen X, what is Gen X's relationship to the word "funky"? who would be an example of a person more "funky" than Bob Dylan?
