I know the joke of Mrs Wu not liking Sashanne is tiring on ppl and I was waiting to make this since obviously she wouldn't be unjustly mad at them forever but one too many ppl complaining got me to push this up on the list of comics to make. This, similar to Sasha's reunion with Percy & Braddock was hard to figure out how to end. Mrs Wu bonds very close to Lily and considers her her granddaughter after a while but atm she's still trying to get over her distaste of Sashanne, just give her time (which we already seen at the mayor's office comic)

How Anne Came Out...

Marcy is at Anne's house helping her study

Marcy: *checks phone* shoot, it's 5:40. I promised my mom I'd be home by 6:00

Anne: that's alright I'll walk home with you

The girls are sitting on Anne's front porch getting shoes on and Anne's parents are watching them

Mrs. B: *whispers to Mr. B* $15 says they are dating

Mr. B: *whispers back* I'll take that bet

Marcy: you know you don't have to walk me home right?

Anne: I know. I want to

Mrs. B: Anne you actually should stay home, it's your night to cook dinner

Anne: dang it....

Marcy: It's alright

Anne: well, I'll see you tmrw

Marcy: *stands up after tieing shoes and kisses Anne on the cheek*

Anne: uh... um.... uuuuuuh

Marcy: *waves to Anne's parents and then leaves*

Mr. B: *give Mrs. B $15*

Anne: *Anne.exe is not working*

Mr. B: so.... when were you gonna tell us

Anne: I uhm.... I honestly don't think I knew until..... until now.... *blushes heavily*

Am I the only one here who thinks that Anne would be amazing at flirting?

Like, probably the best out of the Calamity Trio?

I'm not saying this just because Anne has the thai rizz coupled with the black woman swag, though it's undeniable the fact that adult Anne is objectively hot; I'm talking about her education, references, personality type and attitude.

In other words I'm talking about her mother.

That woman is not a girlfailure, and even if I doubt that Anne has inherited even half of her mother's pull up skills (though I doubt she ever even used them. Her husband definitely was the one who pulled up on her first, and accidentally, yet again proving the fact that Anne has attractiveness in her genes and running through her veins), Miss Boonchuy definitely taught her daughter how to swing at someone, even if romance wasn't the main thing being learnt here, and beyond that, there's still enough evidence to tell that if Anne ever seriously tried to pull up on anyone, aka the girls, she would have the easiest time in the world.

Genuinely, the only thing probably impeding her parents hooking up was their obliviousness, which Anne inherited as well.

Marcy is an autistic idiot (affectionate), she wouldn't want to flirt with any of the other girls because she doesn't consider them as an option; in her mind, she has already labelled them as friends, so it's impossible for her to also date them at the same time. She would have the hardest time out of any member of the Amphibia cast, due to a combination of an inability to pick up social cues, a lack of an interest for romance (I'm not in the aromantic Marcy crowd), and a lack of any rizz whatsoever that isn't coming from the Asperger's syndrome.

Sasha.... Oh boy. You've seen her in the second half of the third season, right? Girl was downbad (fan's head canon) for Anne and was passively sabotaging her plans for her. Sure, she's a tough tomboy, but I doubt that if she ever started dating someone she would be able to use her smarts and brawns to good use.

Happy New Year 2024 !

It wasn't so bad for a first year. I hope that 2024 will reserve to me many more ideas to realize.

Insane to me that Sasha's parents are divorced but still have the same last name. She stole his fucking name 😭😭 either that or Anne didn't know their names and didn't think too much about it. Would be the equivalent of sending letters to "Mr. Sasha's dad" and Mrs. Sasha's mom" 😭

Several ppl have wanted to know what the calamity siblings relationship is with their grandparents Waybright/Wu so here's a quick sketchdump. I forgot Mrs Wu with Percy and Maddi so I'll do a follow up with them soon™, for now here's this:

Lily being Mrs Waybright's new dress-up doll now that Sasha and her step-kids (and likely new kids) are grown up was a silly idea, especially with her dressing Sasha's cat to match. 2. Percy knows better than to have a family member as an agent, especially with sketchy bussinessman Mr Waybright. 3. Even tho' Mr Wu and his bosses were happy about the budget being figured out, he made sure Maddi was nowhere near any of those papers again in case he might get in trouble for someone not from the company seeing them. 4. I could see Mrs Waybright having a rivalry and wouldn't be above using her grandkids to help her. 5. Look, while his daughter's art career worked out, he also knows that musicians/actors have just as hard of a time to make it big and want to make sure Percy is safe in the future. 6. Mrs Waybright and Percy being gossip buddies is too cute and funny to not draw.
